You are what is known as a Shadeling to most people. Shadelings are similar to humans in shape, but not much else. They have pitch black, distorted bodies, and two glowing eyes. They're not human, no... and not ghosts either. These warped beings are merely spirits, brought back to serve as mindless slaves of a wizard, but not anymore.
Now, the Shadelings have their humanity back, but none of their memories. They persist by using their Willpower to survive, but for how long?
Several small bands of humans are on the hunt for them, in the hopes that they can purge these 'mindless things' and restore 'complete peace' to the lands.
For your survival, you must trek through several dangerous plains of sand or snow in order to reach the new Capital of Redukan: Cogsburg for Sanctuary, for the king surely would hear your pleas for peace.

Willpower: (Determines how much you care for your survival. Can be Low, Average, or High, with High making you slightly stronger.)
