Haha that's true. And they are teenagers so they've probably got crazy fast metabolisms. Though I do think diversity and even just representation of at least average sized bodies is important, even in something as simple as roleplays. That's a rant for a different situation though

Godly Parent: Zeus, Lord of the Gods

Powers: Electrokinesis is a very powerful ability to have. One with the ability can summon lightning, electricity, or even make a static shock powerful. They can electrify their weapons in order to make their weapons more effective, causing more damage. They are also unaffected by other types of electrical blasts, or are at the very least, more resistant to them. It seems to be an ability possessed by the children of Zeus, and his Roman counterpart, Jupiter. This ability can also be possessed by powerful children of Poseidon, and his Roman counterpart Neptune, as they are able to create strong storms that can generate lightning.

This ability has been show to small degrees in the series. For example, clouds in the series will generally rumble with thunder whenever Zeus/Jupiter becomes angry. His son, Jason Grace, inherited some of this power as well, being able to call down lightning bolts from the sky when he needs to. He is also able to control the wind, allowing him to fly and see wind related magic. Percy Jackson, a son of Poseidon, has been able to use this ability as well, being able to create small hurricanes for attack and defense in battle.

Fatal Flaw: He cares too much about proving himself

Personality: He's very arrogant about being Zeus' son and tends to refer to himself as the Prince of the Skies. Derek feels that he can beat any monster he faces since facing the hydra. He's EXTREMELY flirtatious, and often gets mistaken for a child of Aphrodite, which he attributes to his 'ruggedly handsome features.' He's a prankster, often shorting out any contraption that a Hephaestus child sends his way, this causing more fights than anyone needs. Derek's not a total jerk. He has a soft side, but it's just hard to reach at times, considering he still beats himself up secretly for the hydra attack on his mom. Derek should have been there. He should have been the one to save his mom, not Nycanor. He's an extremely hard worker and will do something the second that he's asked to. Derek holds a lot of anger toward Hera, and plans on having a few choice words with her if they ever meet again. "She could have killed me! I could have died!" Derek would scream things like this during his first few weeks at Camp, then he finally chilled out a little, realizing what this hatred was doing to his power. Derek holds a lot of anger toward Zeus as well, for not stopping the queen from doing what she did. Derek doesn't see himself as a leader, like his siblings. Sure, he's Zeus' son, but he's still a kid. Why did he have to stand out? Why couldn't he goof off?

He grew up in Miami, and at one point in his past, at six, Hera, disguised as an old woman, tricked him into going with her into the woods. There, she tossed him off of a cliff, exactly how she did with Hephaestus and then, a griffon caught him before he landed into the river at the base of the cliff. Years later, at eleven, Derek faced a hydra that was disguised as his mother's co-workers at the electric company and was then knocked out after trying to save his mom. The griffon came back and dropped his mother off at home and took Derek to camp, where he's been for six years.

Born and raised on African soil, Kiara grew up in Zambia with her single mother. For years, Ms. Buhari told her daughter that her father was a good man and traveled all over Africa to save the leopards and inform people about the good qualities of the beasts, wishing for Ms. Buhari's village to refrain from killing leopards. Knowing this, Kiara was confused. Leopards killed and consumed their cattle, the village's food. Ms. Buhari even told Kiara about a time in Kiara's childhood when a leopard invaded their village in the night and entered their shelter. Worried, Ms. Buhari chased the beast, spotting it observing her sleeping toddler. "It did not make any move to kill you, Kiara." She told her later on. "It just watched you for a few moments and left the way it had come." At nine years old, Kiara was providing the village with their crop. This was the first time anyone had seen her use her power and accused her of witchcraft. This caused Ms. Buhari to take her child and leave the village. At ten, Buhari took Kiara to America, where she stayed until Kiara turned eleven and wood nymphs convinced her mother to allow Kiara to follow them to Camp Halfblood, where she's been ever since.

Personality.) August is a very headstrong individual, though he does easily make friends. His adaptability makes him easy to get along with to even the prickliest of campers, and being friends with everyone has its perks. At a young age his father challenged him physically and mentally. Before his arrival at camp August was top of his class and captain of the Soccer team. His quick feet have seen him through a lot and his quick wit even more. Though he has friends he hates to rely on them choosing to do what he can on his own but normally knows his limits, he's one of the worst smiths at camp and aknowlages that, but he keeps working at it just like anything else. When angered August will take nearly anything as a challenge, and when he sees an opportunity he will take it. Though he is well liked he can be quite aloof around girls. It's best to be blunt with August about your feelings because he most likely won't be able to tell.
