Bullets of Fire(A): Bullets used by Morioka's gun, these bullets have the power to have the targets catch on fire upon impact. These are Morioka's favorite bullets.
Bullets of Combustion(A): These bullets are highly volatile, as the part of the body that is hit by these bullets will instantaneously combust.
Bullets of Paralysis(A): These Bullets are extremely effective, as they instantly paralyze the target.
Eagle of Torture(C): Morioka's second gun is similar to her first, but it has the property of turning normal bullets into those with a very sick purpose. Upon impact with the target, the blood vessels and veins and every little part of the body begins to itch, until slowly it becomes unbearable, and typically leaves the target insane.
Knuckles of the Damned(A): Brass Knuckles that Morioka has imbued with extreme power. For a normal person, one punch from these would shatter their bones.

Blood Blade(C): An extremely sharpened blade, one nick from this causes heavy bleeding that cannot be healed by conventional means.
Bandage of Health(C): The Counterpart of the Blood Blade, it heals the cut from the blade and complete restores the blood in the body of the afflicted. Typically used as a torture tactic by Morioka.

Lore And Background Information:
Morioka was the sole child of the prestigious Smith Family that resided in England. It was one of the oldest magus families in the country, and one of the most powerful. The family specialized in Fire Magecraft, and were typically thought to be the users of the Fire Element.

Due to her family, Morioka had a tough upbringing, and would constantly be abused by her parents if she did anything they did not approve of. This caused Morioka to develop a warped personality. After fifteen years of living on this earth, being abused almost daily at this point, she finally broke free from her family. In the middle of a cold, winter night, Morioka had slaughtered her entire family, regardless of they abused her or not. She killed her parents(torturing them beforehand), her uncles and aunts, her grandparents and anyone else in the house that night.

Covered in blood from head to toe, a wide smile on her face as she walked out of the house and into the moonlight night. Morioka had discovered her taste for death and torture. She left the estate, taking only a few things: Her family tomes on magic, her family's crest, a few sets of clothes, the knife used to kill her family, and their fortune. Morioka would never look back, nor would she ever return. Instead, she practiced her magic at a family friends house, who suspected Morioka to be the sole survivor of her family's massacre. She played the traumatized victim role quite well. While residing with these people, Morioka began to sneak out of the house at night, and murder random people. She torture and then kill anyone that she would come across that night, and her taste for blood and death grew even fonder.

Eventually, while out on one of her hunts, she picked a target that was too much for her, a master magus. This Magus was not one of the association, but a rogue magus who had long since left the Association. The two would fight deep into the night, with Morioka mostly being on the run, knocking on death's door. Six hours into the fight is when Morioka threw everything away. It was nearly morning, and she was running out of tricks and what little sanity she had left. She charged the magus, stabbing him in the throat before bashing his skull in with a rock. This encounter made Morioka into more of the person she is now, someone who craves killing others as well as being on deaths door herself. This would also encourage her to become a Magus Killer, and she thrived in this role. For a decade and a half, Morioka would hunt Magus and other deadly humans who gave her some problems. The closer to death herself, the more ecstasy she developed. She stopped killing random nobodies, and only lived for the challenge of killing those with powers... The tougher the job, the more suicidal and impossible were Morioka's favorite, and she earned many nicknames through the years.

Hiromi Sakaki

Alias/Codename
Blood Exorcist

Age
24

Physical Description

She is 5'9'' tall (Boots give her 2 inches) and weighs 180lbs (with 50lbs boots + gauntlets). Without her gear, she is 5'7'' and 130lbs. She has short black hair and grey eyes.

Personality Traits

Dutiful. Traditional. Stern/serious. Loyal.

Hiromi is the second eldest of a group of orphans taken in by Archbishop Benedict and takes on a ‘big sister’ role in terms of personality. She’s used to caring for kids. Knows how to cook, change diapers, calm an upset child, etc. She’s not the sweet kind of mother that spoils her children and makes cookies for them though. Oh no. She’s a tiger mom. A tough, disciplinarian educator who will make sure the child she raises succeeds and grows up to be a good (religious) person.

The ends justifies the means for her.

She’s not cruel. There are some lines she will not cross (unnecessary torture being one of them). However, she fights for the church. For her Father. She believes, to a certain degree, that Sinners must be punished (with pain). That death can bring salvation to some. Heretics. Monsters. Dead Apostles. Eliminating them will keep the regular people safe. Her family safe.

She is deeply loyal to her family above all else.

Likes: Her family, prayer, good children, strays, cleaning
Dislikes: Demons, vampires, and other heretical beings, unnecessary torture, unnecessary violence, those that hurt her family, lack of discipline.

Quirks: Regularly burns herself to purify her sins.

Hobbies: Cooking and cleaning.

Alignment: Lawful, Neutral

Mage-craft Information

Affinity:
Fire

Origin: Blood

Magical Circuits: Quality B, Quantity B

Crest(A): 1st Generation, Crest of Ten Commandments. Made from the magic circuits of 10 fallen cardinals, collected and preserved, it gives her knowledge of various secret holy spells, sacrements, and rituals (some of which aren’t even documented in Church records).

Magical abilities: Besides the holy spells/sacraments she knows and can perform perfectly because of the crest(weakening demons, binding them, etc), she is well versed in fire and blood magecraft from her studies. Combining her origin and affinity, she can ignite any blood she sees—whether its human blood, demon blood, etc. Her own blood is especially flammable. Burning hot, it would scald any who touch it and make her enemies regret drawing it.

Blood reinforcement—She can reinforce blood. By applying to her own internal blood, it basically serves as reinforcement for her entire body (because blood circulates everywhere)

Blood enhancement—Luffy style, she speeds the circulation of her blood to astronomical levels allowing the quick delivery oxygen. This allows her to think faster, react faster, and move faster than what could normally be expected of a human.

Blood Combustion—The speed at which she ignites blood is uncanny. A speck of blood on the opponent will burn the enemy will burn them alive. In a battlefield, with tons of blood, explosions and wildfire will resound when she’s around.

Mystic Codes And Magical Gear

Rosary of Mary(A)
—A charm that protects the wearer from curses of all kinds. Poisons, death spells, and debuffs have no effect on her. She can’t be turned into a dead apostle while it’s in her possession either. When she prays for another, using it as a rosary, she can remove the curses that afflict them (though this depends on the strength of curse. She can’t change a Dead Apostle back into a human, for example)

Armored Boots and guantlets(B)-- They are both tough and magic resistant. Cancels spells rank B and lower.

Undying Cross (A) – A large black key in the shape of a lance/pole-arm with a cross at the end. It gives off an aura that weakens demons/vampires/monsters and such. Has high effect on them. Wounds afflicted by it are slow to heal.

Female_Priest_Portrait.jpg

Special Abilities

Heat resistance. Due to the nature of her blood, her body has developed so it’s fairly resistant to high temperatures compared to the average human. She’s not immune to fire or anything. She’s just highly tolerant (even without reinforcement to strengthen her defenses).

Stats (Human Standards)

Strength:
B+++
Endurance: A+++
Agility: B+++
Magic: B
Luck: A

(+++ indicates capacity to surpass human peak via body-enhancing magecraft)

Lore And Background Information

Hiromi never knew her parents. For as long as she can remember, she raised in the Vatican with many brothers and sisters under the supervision of ArchBishop Benedict. She had always been the good child. The responsible one. At a young age she realized that Sister Okuni wasn’t her real mother, Archbishop Benedict wasn’t her real father, and her siblings weren’t blood related. But, even so, that didn’t matter to Hiromi. They were still her family and she loved them.

Magecraft training. Physical training. Biblical studies. Prayers. Chores/taking care of the little ones. Those were a part of Hiromi’s daily life since young and she never questioned it. She simply did everything she was told perfectly. Grades. Magecraft. Combat. She excelled at everything and was favored by ArchBishop Benedict.

The best of her siblings.

At 15, she entered the Vatican’s seminary with her elder brother. However, unlike her elder brother, she wasn’t ordained upon graduation. Instead, she took a different set of vows at the age of 19. One that would lead to the implantation of the Ten Commandments Crest. Years ago, 10 cardinals made a secret pact to eliminate heretics from the world. 10 cardinals died. Hiromi would carry out that extremist legacy.

Officially adopted by Yuusuke Sakaki of the Burial Agency, she joined the agency soon after.

Personality Traits
Likes:
Mano-a-mano duels
Wrestling shows
Shoujo manga

Dislikes:
Firearms
Magic
Indulgence
Action movies

Quirks:
He speaks in a particularly antiquated way, is prone to malapropisms, and directly translates a few Japanese quotes into English. He is also like to misunderstand modern English lingo. That having been said, outside of these few kinks, he is fairly well-spoken.

Hobbies:
Meditation
Practice
Reading

Alignment:
Chaotic Neutral

Weird Stuff:
Besides his entire existence being an oddity in and of itself, Hasegawa isn't into any 'weird stuff', and is a fairly well-balanced individual.

Mage-craft Information
Magecraft is the art of a charlatan and a weakling. Contend your foolish spellslinging against the one true art- one of the blade, if you wish to seek evidence.

Mystic Codes And Magical Gear
Kitsunebimaru (A) : An uchigatana, according to his insistent terminology. Calling it a katana is tantamount to libel to him. A sword forged in Japan for the sole purpose of cutting down magicks and beings of magicks, unholy or otherwise, and kept amongst a heretical group of mages as a secret, until Hasegawa himself cut its protectors down and stole the sword. This was the event that cemented him as a veritable asset to the Burial Agency. This is the only magical gear in his inventory, and by God’s light, it is the only one he needs. According to some, the Kitsunebimaru is a weapon steeped in Mystery, possessing several thousands of years of it, making it a veritable weapon in its own right.

Special Abilities
Swordmaster (EX): Hasegawa is a master of the art of blade, to almost ridiculous extents. He is able to draw his blade from any grip, and any stance, within the blink of an eye, or a fraction of that, and has shown the capacity to not just deflect bullets, but has done so at angles that allow him to hit another target. He may have a crippling overspecialisation based around his sword and only his sword, but the fact remains that he is at the same level as his peers.

Stats
Strength: B
End: B
Agi: EX
Mag: E
Lu: C

Agility (EX): Hasegawa’s actual agility is B outside the use of his sword, but his skill with his sword, his reaction time, and overall ability, allows him to see and deflect automatic firearms without issue, hence his Agility having an EX rank only by virtue of his swordsmanship.

Lore And Background Information
A strange man hailing from the East. He doesn’t seem to have any interest in the Church’s ideals. His origins are unknown, but it is fairly obvious his is not one of a magical community, given his disposition and attitude towards magic and its practitioners. His life long duty and legacy are similarly cryptic, but this is mostly because Hasegawa is an irritatingly tight-lipped man who wants nothing to do with anyone who slings spells and calls that fighting. That having been said, he has been scouted out and accepted into the Burial Agency for good reason.

He was originally scouted out purely because he was actively searching the Burial Agency out, and had had a reputation with his sword, having reputedly cut down some unsavoury kinds during his journey to the west. It was hard to miss the broad-shouldered man with long hair and wafuku wandering around a Western countryside, after all, and compounded with his prodigious skill with a blade, it was akin to having a shining beacon placed atop of his head. With his existence threatening the secrecy of the Church’s actions, the head honchos decided that it was perhaps better for him to be part of their recently voided Burial Agency just to keep an eye on him. With some reservations about his attitude, he was placed on probation. That was good enough for him. It later became clear that he was searching for a sword that had been flown over from Japan, its owners trying their best to keep it out of his hands. This coincided with the Church’s ideals, since this samesaid people were heretics, a good enough reason for him to hunt them down himself. It was a good as any reason to get rid of this weird Japanese man, so the Agency shrugged and let him go off on his own. If he failed, then at least they had an open spot, and if he succeeded, he would have wiped out a branch of heretics. They were barely halfway through wondering how he could achieve his objective with just a regular katana before he returned with his prize.

A man who could cut down magic wielders with just a normal sword, now holding onto a better, magically-enhanced sword- it was just basic maths. Even if his own ideology had but a few intersecting points with the Church’s, so long as he was happy with testing his new sword on their “inconveniences”, that was all they needed of him. Besides, he was better as an ally than an enemy. To his credit, Hasegawa shows no indication of wishing to rebel against the Church, so he must be somewhat satisfied with his conditions.

__original_drawn_by_kogecha_coge_ch__5e8b59907d383d7edc1d2bb0316d944f.jpgName: Aeron Hansel
Age: 24
Lore And Background Information:
Aeron has only slight memories of his family. The vague mutterings of his mother, the perplexion of his father, and the crying of what might have been a sibling. When they're from and what their context was, he can't ever really know, but at his point in his life he's confident that he can make an educated guess.

Ever since he was born, he'd been able to see things that others couldn't. Things that weren't meant to be seen, things that didn't want to be seen; Once he'd grown, he would quickly learn where to not look and what to pretend wasn't there, but as a baby, it would have been terrifying. Screaming, crying, startling not only his parents but also the hidden Things that lurked in the corner of people's eyes. If he had to put one and two together, he'd feel pretty safe in guessing that the story from there wasn't very different from some horror B movie.

The first real memories he has are of being tossed around from home to home, always causing far too much trouble just by looking at the wrong spot in the mirror to stay anywhere for long. Both he and all of his families didn't understand. Couldn't understand. An overactive imagination, they called it, while he was convinced that there was just something that everyone else was doing to keep everything in line that he hadn't figured out yet. It wasn't until, by some stroke of divine luck, he managed to find his way into the home of an old, retired Magi that he found his answers.

None of it had been in his head, but nobody had been keeping anything from he. He was special, born with a gift that many in the man's line of work would kill to get their hands on. Aeron would only know him for a few years, before his many, many years roaming the earth finally caught up to him, but they were the years that saved him. He'd long since given up his Crest, having passed it on to the most ambitious of his children, and thusly righted what he considered the greatest sin of his lifetime; He'd not raised his own children to proper way, no, he'd been too caught up in his magical pursuits for that, so he'd chosen to take in an orphan and do the best for them he could in the little time he had left.

Through learning to live with his abilities, to living a normal life after that, Aeron's new mentor guided him step by step. Even if he could hardly look back on his work as a parent with pride, he'd still enough experience to guide the boy on his way. Indeed, it was more than a stroke of luck that Aeron had ended up in the home he had, rather than just bouncing from place to place until he'd grown to an age where those around him could finally give up.

The rest of his new family, though, was much less accommodating. The lot of them had already found homes of their own, but whenever they visited there was always something off in their eyes. They were Magi, and though at the time he didn't know it, his gifts made him an especially valuable asset to those of their ilk. From behind closed doors he'd hear muffled conversations, the family heir trying to 'take him under her wing', or his other siblings trying to claim him as some sort of compensation. His father, though, was thankfully having none of it.

So, years of tutelage went by, Aeron at one point even enrolling into the public school system, but they were years that'd been numbered for a long time. While their time together was well spent, it was only a few years after he was adopted that Aeron's father passed away.

Much to his surprise, the siblings that his father had been so keen on separating him from, would welcome him with open arms. An eldest brother, a middle child of a sister, and a second brother only half a decade older than him. Ultimately, he'd choose to go with the oldest of the lot, a decision he'd come to regret.

Despite his age, Aeron's latest guardian had not managed to claim his place as the family heir. His father, according to some family tradition or another, had pitted his children against one another in order to determine who would carry the Family Crest, and he'd not even come close to winning. Perhaps he'd let his greater wealth of experience get to his head, or perhaps he'd been simply outmatched, but at the end of the say it was his sister that inherited the family legacy.

So to him, Aeron was an opportunity. One to break his way into the magical world in a manner that wasn't only impossible for him on his own, but most Magi in general. Aeron himself however, wasn't convinced. After so many years, he'd finally learned to live with him abilities, so he wasn't about to go and mire himself in them even deeper than he ever had before. Not only was it the furthest thing from what he wanted to do with his life, but it was just like insulting the memory of the man who'd helped him reach the point where he was today.

His brother didn't understand.

This child, this boy who'd somehow managed to sneak his way into father's good graces was denying him of the only thing he'd wanted for his whole life. Didn't he feel any gratitude for what his family had done for him? Their father was dead, so as far as he was concerned Aeron's debt had now fallen into his possession.

For a while, Aeron managed to remain steadfast. It was hard, but he denied his brother's persistence, even as he harassed him for his assistance time and time again. But even the strongest of walls aren't indestructible, and eventually his collapsed. One night his brother came to him, having discarded his attempts at convincing the boy through conventional means, with tears in his eyes and despair in his voice. For hours, his spilled his soul to his adopted brother, slowly but surely chipping away at the wall that he was already struggling to maintain until he eventually gave in. Aeron would become his assistant, working by his side in order to find him a way to compete with his sister and do the family name proud.

With Aeron at his side, nothing would escape him. They went on a trip across the globe, meeting with Phantasmal Species of all origins and domains, seeking out one that would serve as his gateway into the magical world. One that could grant him the power that the Family Crest would have.

Another pair of years went by like this, each Beast they encountered either being too wild or not willing enough to grant him their strength. Eventually, he started looking for shortcuts. If none of those vermin were willing to stand by his side, he'd just have to look somewhere else. Namely, towards the Dead Apostles. They weren't exactly what he was looking for; The prospect of tainting his blood was hardly a seductive concept to him, but he was willing to try. He used Aeron's abilities to track down the most willing and most powerful of his kind that he could find, and offered himself to them.

Aeron didn't understand his brother's plan until it was too late. Despite his gifts, he was no expert of the magical ecosystem, in fact, he'd gone out of his way to avoid involving himself too deeply in it. And this was the consequence. Not only was his brother trying to abandon his humanity, not only had he been the one to lead him along the path that would let him do it, but he was even being offered up as payment. A 'thank-you-gift', his brother had prepared for whoever ended up welcoming him into the fold.

Somehow through, Aeron managed to escape with his humanity in tact. Unlike his brother, he'd managed to win the favor of the odd Spirit or Beast that they'd visited, and under their protection he managed to steal away into the night.

The deed was already done, however. No matter what he did, he couldn't turn back time. His brother, his father's real son, had been taken by the night and it was all his fault. His other siblings, to his shock, seemed unphased and equally willing to welcome him into their homes as they ever had been, but he wasn't interested. He couldn't trust them, or himself. He wouldn't do anything to further wrong the family that'd saved him.

Instead, he broke out on his own. Traveling from country to country in the faint hope that he'd run into his elder brother, and the even fainter hope that he'd somehow be able to return his humanity to him. In his journeys he'd manage to contract a handful of Phantasmal Beasts, and unwittingly begun to make a name for himself. In his search for his brother, he'd naturally run into the other creatures that filled the night, and more often than not he'd be forced into battle with him.

Rumors spread, Burial Agents died, and eventually he found his way into the Church's employ.

Magecraft Information
Magic Circuits: N/A
Crest: N/A
Origin: Vessel

Stats:
Strength - D
Endurance - C
Agility - C
Magic - EX*
Luck - C
*Aeron has no Magic Circuits, and is therefore incapable of Magecraft. The nature of his Mystic Eyes, however, allows him to manifest supernatural phenomena through other means.

Special Abilities:
  • Mystic Eyes of Phantasmal Companionship (EX) - A hybrid manifestation of Pure and Mystic Eyes, Aeron's "Phantasmal Companionship" allows him to pierce the veil of the normal world. He's able to see, interact, and communicate with all classes of Phantasmal Species, Spirits, and etcetera. Then, he is able to form half-verbal, half-magical contracts with beings of a magical nature. The terms of the contract, and of its termination, are up to Aeron and the other party to broker, and the breaking of them will result in the closest thing to death that can be applied to the offending party.

Once a contract is formed, a relationship vaguely similar to that of a Master and Servant is formed, though it is far less one-sided. So long as Aeron is fulfilling his end of the contract, he'll be able to manifest his contracted entities at will, to fight by his side or assist him in any other way they see fit. As proof of their contract, a sigil will appear on both his and the entity's body, matching the color of his Mystic Eyes.
    • Sir Rotflower (C) - A village-dwelling fae that bears the shape of an old, wrinkled hag, though she can also take the form of an owl or rat. Usually, she would be a spirit of mischief, the kind responsible for the noises that keep you awake at night, the wind the blows your mail away, and so on. She has power over the 'autumn wind', which Aeron has discovered to mean any air that bears dying foliage. Her contract is as whimsical as her nature would lead one to expect: Crossdressing. Maybe she's just having him wear the clothes that she's not pretty enough to pull off?
    • Momo (D) - A Japanese Bakeneko, who doesn't look much different from a normal house-cat, aside from an unusually large size and a pair of eyes that seem a bit too aware of their surroundings. Once, he was a normal cat, but after accidentally killing his owner he transformed into a Yokai. He's able to possess corpses and communicate with common animals, including regular humans. His contract is a well maintained living space, at least four meals a day, and to never have to fight.
    • Nuckelavee (B) - An Orcadian Demon that takes the form of a man-horse creature. The Nuckelavee bears a distinction from Aeron's other contracted beings in that it is very displeased with their relationship. Its contract was that Aeron never be in perfect health for any longer than a week, something that he has abused by drinking milk every day despite being lactose intolerant. It has the ability to control diseases, both magical and mundane, allowing it to plague even supernatural entities such as Dead Apostles. Aeron hopes to release it once he's found a replacement of equal or greater strength.

Crest
A first generation magic crest created by himself based on instinct alone. Rather feeble in comparison to actual hereditary crests. Naturally, it doesn't carry any hereditary spell or unique property, merely making the act of using rites a bit easier for him.
Magical abilities:
Being a Spellcaster who received no official training past some tips by his adopted father, Hide has a rather... Diverse knowledge when it comes to magecraft, having used the tomes and diaries recovered from past targets as a basis to establish a rather shallow understanding of a ridiculous amount of different thaumaturgical systems ranging from numerology and necromancy to the holy sacraments of the church. As such, while he hardly has what you could call a solid foundation in magecraft, lacking even a single spell that could be classified as high-thaumaturgy, he is at least highly skilled in recognizing his enemies' techniques. Apparently, the only offensive form of magecraft he knows rely on Black Keys, taking the form of spells engraved in the blades - a rather blasphemous practice that he, as a non-believer, isn't even a bit ashamed of employing.

- A technique that allows for the user to manifest the blade of a black key from its hilt through the use of mana, generally used for the sake of allowing a larget quantity of blades to be carried.

Rites:
Cremation Rite
- A technique that, after a successful hit by the black keys, ignites its' targets in flames hot enough to burn a normal human to ashes in seconds. Naturally, this is considerably less effective against Magus, who possess a natural resistance against magecraft, and can only cause severe local burns.

Internment Rite - A technique that, after a successful hit by the black keys, causes gradual petrification on the target. Being induced by the spiritual nature of the key, this slow technique keeps working even if the key is removed, requiring the target to either waste time and stop to purge its effects or directly sever the initial contact area to stop it from working.

Mummification Rite - A technique that, after a successful hit by the black keys, directly absorbs the water from whatever is being targeted, generally meaning to desiccate a target. Can be easily countered by removing the black key during the initial seconds of effect.

Promession Rite - A technique that, after a successful hit by the black keys, quickly freezes a target to the point of crystallization and then breaks them to pieces. Especially useful against dead apostles as it counters their natural regeneration but remarkably useless against mages, as their resistance makes it so the curse that allows that can be easily purged.

Excarnation Rite - A technique that, after even a small graze by the black keys, puts a mark in the target that acts as a beacon to attract countless carrion birds to descend upon the target. Very useful as a distraction.
Special Abilities:
  • Lycanthropy (EX) - As a result of the partial awakening of his origin, Hide's current identity is that of a unique, artificial hybrid between a werewolf and a human - a being who holds both the unique prowess of a phantasmal beast and the identity of a human, a favored child of Alaya. Due to his unique circumstances, Hide has highly heightened physical specs - largely surpassing what is expected from humans and solidly stepping into the realm of inhumanity even without morphing his form - as well as the abilities expected from a werewolf such as a dead apostle-like tier of regeneration and the ability to manifest sharp claws whose mystery is specially active against species classified as bloodsuckers. On the opposite of a real werewolf, though, Hide doesn't seem to have any specific kind of bane due to the conflict those would have with his identity as a human in the eyes of the world, that confers to him a form of "protection" from things that would otherwise be fatal to his parent species. Due to this unique identity, things such as sacraments made to fight beasts have little to no effect on him, silver merely makes his skin itch and wolfsbane... Well, that could still most certainly kill him if ingested, if just as efficiently as it would kill a normal human.
    • Mystic Eyes of Predation (A) - The werewolf equivalent to the Dead Apostles Mystic Eyes of Enchantment, this unique brand of mystic eyes is said to represent the inherent sense of fear a predator imposes over its victim. While the use of those eyes often imposes a strong feeling of suppression over its victims - to the point of outright paralyzing those who are more mentally feeble - the real use of this ESP is to impose the identity of Prey upon an individual, permanently branding them in a way that allows the user of this ability to instinctively know their location independently of the circumstances, allowing for the user to easily track whoever was previously branded by him independently of how they hide - save perhaps for those who manage to hide in bounded fields who are almost completely separated from the real world.
    • Silver Wolf Aura - Being infinitely close to being a silver werewolf, Hide inherited the unique standing of this subgenre amongst the werewolf race, being considered the closest to nobility - if a rather bastardized version of it - of the werewolf kind. As such, Hide not only inherited the races' innate ability to inspire respect over and even control lower canines or canine-like entities but actually inherited the superior version of this ability, that allows him to project an aura that inspires a sense of respect for him over even other werewolves and naturally inspires dread on phantasmal beasts or nature spirits of a lower standing. Naturally, since his bloodline is far from fully awake, this ability is mostly restricted to holding control over lower canines and leading other supernatural creatures in assuming his standing - though the effect would most certainly be broken should he be forced to show his rather ridiculous half-assed werewolf form.
    • Werewolf form (EX) - Hide can, by triggering his half-awaken origin, temporarily progress his slow transformation into a werewolf, temporarily rousing the bloodline hidden within his body to assume a Werewolf-like form, partially transforming his body into a much larger, more muscular and overall more wolf-like form. In this form, his hair becomes silver and thick fur grows over his limbs and torso, giving off a feral impression. Similarly, the claws already generally present in his feet and hands elongate and become more blade-like, gaining actual anti-vampire properties, and his jaw slightly morphs to become more wolf-like, giving him actual fangs. This transformation is, by nature, a double-edged sword akin to the Crimson Blood Vermillion of Oni hybrids, greatly heightening all of his physical stats to a tier humans can't hope to reach even with the aid of magecraft, further enhancing his regeneration to tiers already nearing that of a dead apostle ancestor and conferring him enough mystery to resist even high-thaumaturgy leveled curses to a certain extent while simultaneously greatly enhancing the effect the banes/inherent weaknesses of a werewolf have over him, making him infinitely more powerful against supernatural creatures and infinitely more vulnerable to the likes of executors of the church or his own partners. As if to further prevent him from relying on this form, it also comes with the unpleasant addition of Inversion Impulses who constantly threaten to steal his sanity.
  • Black Key Handling (B) - Having received direct training from an executor of the church and having a surprising talent in the field, Hide can be considered an expert when it comes to the handling of the signature Black Keys of the Burial Agency as both ranged weapons and makeshift close range weapons, being able to use up to 3 of those in each hand simultaneously without losing accuracy. He is seemingly quite capable when it comes to employing the secret technique of the burial agency to achieve the Iron Plate Effect, blowing away whatever is targeted by his keys in spite of how they're clearly made for piercing.
Mystic Codes And Magical Gear:
  • Black Keys - As an agent of the burial agency, Hide naturally has access to an unlimited arsenal of black keys - especially since away too few agents of the church are crazy enough to put an unpractical, symbolic weapon to use. He generally carries around 5 dozens of black key handles with himself, concealing those all around his boy, and 4 times that in his luggage as spares.

Background Information:
Born as the heir of Oogami, an elusive, remarkably rich family who held the secret of being one of the few remaining large demon hunting clans of Japan - being famed for their use of Inugami for battling - Hide was, from the beginning, a special child. If anything, rather than the result of love or even the much more mundane result of the diplomatic union of two noble scions of traditional families, Hide was from the beginning the bearer of the hopes of a whole clan: A designer baby made through unordinary, far from orthodox methods with the sole intent of bringing back the purity of blood that was lost through generations of careless marriages and lead to the family's inborn ability of holding control over inugami to degenerate and weaken - a last ditch effort to not only reinstate their past glory but effectively save themselves, for the chances are that they wouldn't resist should the Inugami raised all over their residence for generations go out of control.

Be it because of the extensive efforts put into making this work or simply because luck smiled upon them, fact is that the elders of the Inugami family did indeed somehow manage to find a working ritual to awaken the bloodline of the child in their eldest miss womb in the moment of his birth, leading to the thickening of his bloodline to the point where it inspired more than respect on the inugami held within their residence and even the remaining Kojutsu practitioners: It inspired dominance. It was solely out of not being able to bear this oppressive feeling that the otherwise fairly tranquil Inugami lost control, influenced by the chaotic feelings of the newborn into rampaging until the point not even a single living soul other than the youngling was left alive, leading to the decline of the otherwise quite strong Oogami clan in a single night. Naturally, though, that's not how the story ends.

Perhaps due to the interruption of the ritual or simply because it was already a flawed awakening to start with, after the first night the baby's emotions stopped to directly affect the Inugami, allowing them to once more recover the little sanity they had as guardian spirits, leading them into hurrying away from the house as fast as they could - both to flee from this new threat and find another place to nurture their growth. This turn of events naturally didn't go by unnoticed by those who had the family under watch - mostly rival families or allied organizations - and expeditions to the now ruined household were quickly formed. Unbeknownst to most, though, the first one to arrive at the site wasn't a member of one of those other japanese families or organizations but rather a completely unrelated fellow, a member of the Burial Agency that was nearby when hell broke loose and simply wandered to the house motivated by naught but sheer confidence and curiosity on the source of the disturbance.

Up to this day, Hide doesn't quite know what lead this otherwise very selfish, non-pious member of the church to mercifully take in a newborn found in the ruins of a demon hunting family's former residence - in fact, chances are that he saw it as nurturing a trump card for himself - but the fact is that the man, a former executor who answered by the name Hiromi, ended up saving Hide and raising him as his own up to age 17, when he was transferred to a knight training institution due to the unforeseen demise of Hiromi, who died amidst one of his missions. Naturally, the fairly unruly Hide didn't quite fit with the other church recruits and was quickly expulsed from the institution after a mere year, being instead recommended to the Mage's Association as a freelance operative, a service he executed with perfection till roughly three years ago, when the church once more contacted him to offer his adoptive father's former position in the Burial Agency after yet another operative went mia and presumed dead - position that he gladly accepted, if mostly for the privileges that come together with it.
