I really don't like asking too much in these, as I like getting to know characters in the roleplay. As long as you look like you've made an effort and I get a good general idea of your character I'm happy. Also use good grammar please. If you could have one very unique thing about your character that would be great, as I prefer characters that are different. Try to write a paragraph for history and personality please. History: Growing up as an only child meant he was the favorite; a lot of presents under the tree on Christmas, no sharing his toys with any annoying siblings, nor share the spotlight with anyone, he was the apple of their eyes. But with all that love and attention came higher expectations; perfect son, perfect student, and even the perfect athlete. And so far he's doing great in those areas. But those are the least of his problems. Garrett has a secret; a secret that his parents might not understand, a secret that might change how his teammates looks at him in the locker room, a secret that's left him closed off from the rest so he wouldn't risk being found out and because of this was labeled the brooding bad boy of the swim team. He's gay!


Personality: Don't let the persona shown to you fool you, Garrett is a real softy; he's cautious, smart, honest, and easy to get along with. He can sometimes project himself as a smart ass or use sarcasm as a defense to not show his insecurities.


Interesting Point: In my point of view, him being closeted will be a great opportunity to see who he trusts enough to tell this secret to as the group grows closer and watch if his seemingly perfect life is not so perfect after all. Also his tail, unlike most mermen, has a green coloring instead of the traditional blue, and when he's in the water the tail takes on a more cerulean color.

History: Ian is the youngest of three boys and the only one still at home. Ian's mom has just recently gotten remarried to a gold-digger who doesn't like Ian and his brother because of their trust funds. Ian's oldest brother is the sports star and his middle brother is the smart one, growing up Ian had trouble finding where he belonged and what he was good at until he found out about art and how much of a natural he is at it. Despite coming from money Ian's mother raised her boys to be humble and respectful and to not rely on money because one day it might not be there.


Personality: Ian is a shy person and only talks to people when they talk to him. those close to Ian know him to be the joker and the prankster of the group. Ian will pull pranks on the people that are rude to others somewhat as a hero. Ian can come across as arrogant because of how quite he is and for the fact he has money although that's the farthest thing from the real Ian.


Interesting point: Ian is out and Proud and his tail is an iridescent blue.

History: Selena grew up with only her mother. Her father was never in the picture, which she is very upset about. Selena works at a Café after school. She help's her mom pay the bills, since her other runs a hair Salon out of her home and doesn't make to much money do to her small amount of clients.


Personality: Selena is creative, she loves to sing and act. She's a very kind and loving person but if you get on her bad side she is not afraid to rip you a new one. She is also very smart and loves to read.


Interesting point: Selena is Empathic. She can sense other peoples emotions, and sometimes "feed" on them, which can cause her to have panic attacks. Her tail and bra are an icy blue color with a hint of lavender.

Ryan is only 5'4, but otherwise passes perfectly as male, and even in that regard, nobody questions him.


History: Ryan doesn't like to talk about his past much, and doesn't have any photos of himself. He always steers the topic to something different if it comes up. He moved here a couple of years ago, and had been going to school here ever since. His parents allow him to be stealth, meaning noone knows his biological sex. This is much better for him than his old town where he was already known as female.


Personality: Ryan is very outgoing, and always very flirty with everyone. He gets quite close to people and sometimes seems to forget what personal space is, but it's just because he's very over-confident. He loves talking to his friends and is generally a nice positive person.


Interesting point: Ryan is a stealth trans male, this means nobody knows his biological sex. When he becomes a merperson, he has a brilliant blue colour tail similar to the other males, but much to his annoyance has a scale bra similar to the females, although this is also blue. He is also pansexual, although he has a preference for other males, due to a general dislike of feminity due to being treated as a female in his childhood.

Looks: Wavy brown hair, blue eyes, curvy body type, pale skin, freckles, medium cheek bones, usually seen wearing darker clothing.


History: Growing up, Thalia was very mature for her age. In her brain she held tons of knowledge, and her parents praised her for that. Because they were so proud, they knew she could handle herself, so they were never pushy about where she was all the time.


Personality: She always tries to be optimistic about everything, but sometimes she has a rough day. She's a very humorous person who likes to crack jokes when necessary. But she can also be the most serious person you'll ever meet!


Interesting point: I was thinking, maybe she could already know that mermaids are a thing, but pretends she doesn't?

History: Alex lived a rather simple life. She was homeschooled until she was old enough to go to high school, and was quickly ahead of all of her classes once she enrolled. The only other thing that was different about Alex was the fact that she was completely colorblind. She couldn't see any colors other than black, grey, and white. However, she rarely tells anyone about her minor disability, hoping to just go to school as a normal teenage girl.


Personality: For an antisocial pessimist, Alex has quite the humor. She's rather sarcastic and often cracks small (and terrible) jokes. She's easily stressed, and during the times that she's stressed out the most, she has a horrid temper. Let's just say... gaining a fish tail is considered one of the most stressful events of her life.


Interesting point: Alex is completely colorblind. Her tail looks just like the majority of the mermaids from the series, minus the fact that she sees it as a light grey color.

History: Kristen Grew up with being the only child. She was left by her Biological parents when she five Yeats old. As she grew up she change from foster home to other foster home, Till the age 13 she stayed with the parkers and now she is part of them.


Personality: Kristen is a Smart Curious Girl. She enjoys school and her studies she is always worried about her school work, So she can get good grades and make a name for herself. Kristen is a stubborn girl she doesn't really listen to others and she is a fragile emotional girl, As you know she has been through a lot through her life, She has trouble trusting people and letting them in.


Interesting point: She has A Bad Side and it really isn't pretty.

History: Gen was actually a street kid for most of her life until she was 13, when a woman which she now calls her mother took her in. After that, she was mostly a loner and didn't want any friends. Though her personality some how attracts people of all sorts, so it couldn't be helped.


Personality: Gen can have many personalities, that's what makes her just the perfect friend. She's smart, polite, but can be sarcastic and even down right rude. She's also very funny and can always crack up jokes when the atmosphere is gloomy, she can be anything really.


Interesting point: She also has a temper makes her say very gruesome descriptions of how her enemies will die, and her tail is teal but is slightly more on the blue side.
