Mentions of Ren
Tyrolio, or simply known as Ty for convenience and to save breath, was not sure why the town of Greenwood Falls would throw a masquerade ball to welcome these humans. They were humans, they could possibly be out for blood or they catch supernaturals like him for a living. The deer centaur was extremely nervous about being at a ball with humans around, he just simply didn't like it. Apparently Ren was taking him to the ball even though the two of them were complete opposites. Ren was always... oh, angry whilst Ty was shy around others. He didn't want to accidentally make Ren angry or anything, he was the type to stay out of people's way and you could say he acted like a real deer. And, Ren just might ditch Ty as soon as they got there to go swoon people out of their gold. And then Ty would be left all alone. Such events as this were not his cup of tea as he preferred to be alone and do some birdwatching perhaps, being able to be alone and relax with no worries whatsoever.
Since there were humans now in the humbly secluded town of Greenwood Falls, it was troubling that Ty had to conceal his antlers and his not-so-human body. Thankfully he had a human appearance whenever he needed to look human, because he was pretty sure that humans don't see half-human half-deer people every single day. Having two legs was still weird to him though, he was used to four legs but Ty wanted to conceal his true identity from the curious humans, he'd been in big trouble if one of them caught Ty in his true form. They might chase him into the forest located at the very back of the town, hunt him down, kill him, and who knows what else because Ty didn't want to think about it right now. He might end up ruining the whole masquerade ball with his anxiety and fretful worries. Ty might get called crazy for thinking that these seemingly lovely humans would want to hunt him down. It was difficult, but Ty put his worries to rest... for now. The most odd thing about his human form were his pointy ears. Sure it was odd but surely the humans wouldn't be suspicious about it right?
Right now, Ty was standing outside his house dressed up nicely but he was not wearing his mask yet. He just... wanted to wait until he got to the ball to do that! It felt really embarrassing to wear a masquerade mask in public, at least he thought so. Dusk was beginning to settle sweetly, the sky being painted a reddish orange and it was nearing the time that the masquerade ball would be starting soon. The centaur tried to smile, he really did, but it felt kind of awkward as he stood outside his house and was simply waiting for Ren. Opposites they were. Amazing how he was going to the ball with the angry, grumpy dragon. Ty planned on not speaking to Ren that much, out of fear and anxiety of potentially setting him off, it was a worry of his. Maybe some small conversation but nothing too long or dragged out.
