There is nothing to fear
1. Read the lore and follow the cs skeleton. You can add to the Cs but please do not subtract unless it is optional.

2. Godmodding, autohitting, auto dodging, and meta gaming are all off limits. 4th wall breaking is not going to be allowable in this either.

3. This Rp is pg-13 at the worst. However All characters must be 18 years old at least.

4. Please do not assign damage to NPC Enemies. You can totally unleash attacks at them but stating that it cleaves their arm off makes it difficult to respond. For all encounters let the person responding to the attack decide how much damage it does. I will moderate this to ensure fairness.

5. Please use third person for this rp. Dont put "I" "me" "us" etc instead use he, she, whatever else. Only third person we are not our characters we control them.

6. Have fun. This rp does not have a set end, the storyline is dependant upon our characters and their actions. So please try to avoid boss hogging attention. At the same time dont be shy, jump into as much as you can.

Powers- (this is the fun part. A good rule of thumb is the number and magnitude. The more abilities have the less powerful these abilities are. So if your a rock man you totally get strength and durability but anything else you add diminishes those traits. All of these are conditional however. You could for exampke choose only one power and have it be weak, and in certain cases those with many powers can be quite powerful. Pm me if you have questions. )

Personality- Samuel is an egomaniac known for thinking himself vastly superior to all others. He abhors emotion however thinking it to be result of a flaw in human nature. One he intends to correct. He sees himself as a god and the world is his sandbox. No moral law exists to him and he has done some truly terrible things. He shows no signs of stopping anytime soon and seems to be mentally uneffected by his age. However he does seem to suffer from extreme paranoia claiming that the universe is just a game played by cosmic entities to whome life on earth is meaningless to.

History- Samuel was born in Bulgaria and raised to see america as his chance for opportunity. When he was still in his single digits of age his parents took him overseas to the united states. There his father got a job in a chemical plant, and his mother worked nights as a waitress. His parents loved him dearly but he vowed he would not become them, he would be more than a cog in the system...he would build the system.

He put his nose to the grindstone at school studying hard to maintain a perfect GPA. From there he was accepted into an ivy league school where he attained his doctrates in Alien engineering. A new field of science dedicated to reverse engineering the alien technology. His unending dedication brought him to the top of his field. This allowed him to board the crashed vessel in antarctica where he stumbled on the few canisters on board a hidden section of the ship. These canisters contained pure C-47. Huge amounts of it. He kept the discovery hidden taking only a small sample for himself so that he could attempt to synthesize the serum.

It took him years but he was finally successful at synthesizing the Chemical and decided he would need to subject himsekf to the serum, after all no one else had the resolve and he knew better than to ask. He injected his brain with the Synthesized C-47 and was imbued with a massive enhancement to his already sharo mind. In his eyes he had become a god. But every good needs a devil to wage war against. One that was a reflection of themselves.

As such he sought out such a rival, not one that had occured naturally. No he would build his nemesis. He found his candidate in the form of a college athlete. A young man who had devoted himself to his physical form rather than his mind. Though he would accept nothing short of the most dedicated and successful. He kidnapped the young boy and injected him with the Synthesized C-47. Yet much to his surprise he had miscalculated. This young foe grew terrifyingly powerful and worse the world accepted him as the hero claiming Samuel to be the Villain. This was a role samuel happily accepted after all such labels dont matter to a god. Since then he has proven to be one of the worlds most notorious villains, his dastardly plots threatening the entire world several times.



Powers- Hyperintelligence- Samuels brain processes information faster than even alien super computers. His I.Q has been self proclaimed to be in the 4 digits. Yet he has on many occasions proven this to be possibly true as the tech he brings to the table is advanced beyond the rest of the world and he is one of the few villains to have never been imprisoned despite several encounters with entire teams of heroes.

Weakness- Super Squishy- granted its hard, very very hard to get your hands on Heiss, however if you can he is still just an old man. A physically fit human of normal stats coukd incapacitaye him with a single well placed punch.

Gear- Varies- Samuel invents his own technology and very rarely uses the same fear twice.

Alias- Red Guard

Faction- Guardians (remnants of the old group.)

Personality- Joseph is a bold and couragous young hero who is very confident in himself. He has a pretty strict moral compass and stands his ground regardless of his opposition. His determination and Perseverance and to be admired even amongst the hero community. That said he has been known to be Arrogant, Naive, Overconfident, and Stubborn. Other heroes have complained that he is also a bit gull witted.

History- Joseph grew up in Queens and always had one thing on the mind, Baseball. It started when he was just a kid and he met one of his favorite heroes Goldstar who took him to a baseball game. The hero commented that when he was Josephs age he wanted to play baseball. That was all it took for Little Joeseph. He was smitten eith the sport and spent every waking second either thinking about or playing it.

By the time he graduated highschool every college in the country wanted this kid. He could pitch with the best of them, and still hit homers left and right. He was a superstar. He attracted alot of attention, including some that was unwanted. You see Joseph was the target of Samuel Heiss's experiment. He was kidnapped 15 months ago and injected with The mad scientists C-47. Unlike the doctor who injected his own brain josephs injections targeted muscles, skin, bones, and organs, everything except the brain.

This resulted in Joseph becoming one of the worlds most powerful refistered supers, at least in the physical department. He was able to tear his way through the mad scientists lair and flee immediately after awakening. From there he contacted Goldstar who began to train him with his abilities.

Eventually Goldstar spoke to Josephs mom and the three of them sat down and told Joseph the truth. Turns out He was the Son of the original Red guard a noble hero who seemed to lack powers. Goldstar was one of his closest allies. After a long conversation Joseph decided to don the hero name of his father. Which apparently came to no surprise to his mother who had repaired amd refitted the suit nearly two years prior while Joseph was in college.

Now Joseph dons the red guard mantle, and suit. He vows to fill his fathers shoes and bring honor back to his name. Sadly he quit playing baseball feeling as if he had an unfair advantage. He finished his college courses and is now preparred to be a hero full time. What he lacks in experience he more than makes up for in power and positive energy.

Powers- Physical Superboost- Joseph's entire body has been drastically amplified. He displays superhuman strength, speed, durability, stamina, reflexes, and an accelerated healing factor. In training he has shown enough strenth to easily lift battle tanks weighing 86 tons, he has shown speed enough outrun a bullet train, his reflexes allow him to react to energy weapon fire and supersonic moving objects. Lastly his healing factor has shown enough power to recover from broken limb bones in about 30 seconds. Furthermore all of these abilites have grown stronger over the course of their training and have yet to plateu out.

Weakness- Exhaustion through damage- All of Josephs powers are fueled by his stamina which granted is at super human leveks and usually allow him to last like a steam engine. However foes capable of dealing damage to him will find that his healing factor drains his stamina quicker than any other ability. Each time he heals a wound he takes a unilateral debuff across the board while this can reduce him to normal human levels of ohysical ability his powers will recover with his stamina and his healing factor is the one ability that never slows down or stops.

The Red Guard Suit- this seemingly mundane suit is actually a marvel of technological engineering designed by Joseph's father. The armor plating can easily withstand laser fire and even close range explosions though not big ones. It also has several built in gadgetry. From fire extinguishers in the left forarm, to handcuffs stored in the boots. Communication networks, magnetic boots, and even electrified and magnetic hands. The suit is also capable of seaing the eyes and face in the event of gas attacks, underwater missions, and needing more layers in your disguise for interacting with close friends and family.

Personality- Rika is an inquisitive and relaxed individual. Very "chill" as she often puts it prefering the easy way to handle things as opposed to the right way. Her morals are questionable at best and downright deviant at worst. Her greatest strength lies in her quick wit and wide array of skills and talents. She seems to fear getting close to others and will go out of her way to avoid doing so. She is one of those heroes who believes she deserves to be paid for her services and she loves prooving those who tell her she cant that no matyer what the situation she can.

History- Rika didnt have a very nice childhood. Her mother was homeless and she was born in the lunar colony and orphaned at a young age due to a murder. She spent her entire childhood in the "system" yet she did have area's where she excelled. For example she was easily the sneakiest child anyone had ever seen. Her footsteps rarely made a sound almost as rarely as the girl herself. Being born mute had its perks mostly no one wanted to ask you very many questions.

Sure she learned sign language but the language that really interested her was always code. She was a bit of a cyber junkie and as it turned out she was also a super, one with a peculiar ability. One that helped to make her one of the leading infiltrators in the world. She manahed to score some quality hand to hand combat training from Her first boyfriend fresh out of highschool who just so happened to be an award winning mixed martial artist. She is new to the whole hero buisness but intend to score big bucks as her fame increases.

Powers- Rika can vibrate her molecules at a frequency that effectively removes her from out universe putting her in a limbo like realm where she can move freely through matter invisible to the five senses of human beings, invisible to camera's and motion detectors, but not to electromagnetic streams...or data. As she touches or passes through computers or other technology she disrupts the data causing the device to crash and even explode if she maintains contact for too long.

Weakness- Powerful electric currents can hit her while she is phased and will make her turn solid. Aside from that she has no physical enhancements and cannot take much damage.

Gear- PdE- photonic deser eagle, a gun which holds .50 caliber energy charged balistic rounds which tear energy shields and flesh apart equally but are only half as effective against armor.

PC- this universes version of a Personal computor is one that you can carry in your hand. With processing power greater thafmn the greatest computers in the real world hers is still a relatively common tool in this world.

Personality- John has displayed a level of detatchment from society that suggests institutionalization. He has seemingly no regard for the lives of anyone around him. Worse he seems to want for nothing beyond the necessities. He silently eats whatever is given to him and seems to make no efforts to gain more than what is required. However the thing that seems to be the most terrifying is that he seems to have no fear and always seems to know what is coming next, or what is going on in the outside world

History- Very little is known of John Doe. He has refused to give a name, has no fingerprints, and his Dna has been damaged in a way that makes it unidentifiable. His first appearance on the scene was caught on a security camera. Several thugs had attempted to rob a bank and the hero Nitro showed up to thwart them. Everything went off without a hitch until Slayer came from the bank vault and killed the hero in six seconds without saying a single word. Afterwards he left the bank through the front doors eliminating the military presence built up in front of the door and escaping in the ensuing chaos.

Four more well known and high ranking heroes turned up dead over the course of several months and several days after the final confirmed kill he turned himself in for the killings of the five heroes. He was tried and confessed to their deaths in grizzly detail. From there he was locked in a maximum security prison on three mile island called OmegaMax. However the prison psychiatrist have recorded that he claims to want to be there and says he will leave when it is rime for him to go.

Powers- Deathstrike- John has displayed the ability to drastically amplify the damage output of objevts that are in his hand. Thrown knives become deadly explosives, a wooden broomhandle can be amplified enough to be driven through an armored heroes head and still have the force to embed itself into the wall behind him. Handguns become deadly cannons capable of downing tanks. When an object has been amplified it changes to a blood red with a dull glow.

Weakness- his power cannot he applied to things that have life. Nor can he amplify himself. This leaves him with base levels of human physical output however that can be deadly if used properly. He also has normal human anatomy and thus can theoretically be killed by any method that can kill a person.

Slayers armor- currently held in a secure facility at an undusclosed location this suit boasts alien technology with some of the most advanced scanning, mapping, and targeting technology in the world. The drone fits snuggly on his back and has a 10 kilometer range. While primarily used for recon it is also outfitted with a anti personnel plasma auto cannon. The suit has superalloy blade and regenerating energy shields not to mention environmental protection that can allow it to survive the kost extreme environments on earth.

History- The O’brien’s are a family of intrapreneurs who made quite a name and fortune for themselves in the early 90s. Many scientific projects were headed by the late Leopold O’brien, Liam’s father. Hannah O’brien Liam’s mother was one of many people blessed with powers. She joined the Guardians under the name Lioness.

When their child was born, he began to show extremely similar powers to her, she trained her son on how to use said abilities in combat and the boy excelled. Unfortunately, when the team began to fight in New York she was killed in the violence. Leopold never seemed to get over his loss and passed away soon after. Leaving Liam to run the enterprise, once he gained a solid foothold the ideas of becoming a hero seemed to take a vice grip on him, he saw the void left by the heroes of old. Liam set about to create his own team to free the streets of villainy.

Powers- Liam has a cat-like physiology to spell his abilities out he is agile, has superhuman speed, has enhanced senses, and is slightly stronger than your average human.

Weakness-

-Can be sensitive to bright lights.

-Catnip messes with his powers.

Gear- A pair of claws made out of a special metal alloy.

Ralinis is a sociopath with feelings reserved for very few people, the only person he tends to trust is those he name his best friend, which is extremely difficult to become. He has a love for playing mind games with people attacking them physically as well as mentally is something he enjoys tormenting his enemies with. He is also a bit of a deal maker and likes to make deals for the amusement of it, he finds being a villain fun and finds amusement in others reactions to how things turn out.

History- Ralinis was born into a middle class family where both of his parents were divorced and he had to live with his mom and sisters as a result. He was known though out his class as one of the smartest students despite the fact he never studied and was constantly either reading a entertainment book or sleeping in class. He was able to score test scores that were just as high as the teachers most studius students and although his grades were still low due to the fact he would occasionally not do most of the work he would still always pass. Although he would also occasionally get into fights with a few students and get in trouble with for it even though he did not start it. After a while though he was kidnapped by a group called the Syndicate, and he was forced to work for them at first he refused and was put into a dark room with nothing to do. He would then be taken out days later and forced to work or else he would of been sent back, in which he had, they were cruel and he quickly grew to hate them. One day after one of the members punched him to the ground he grew angry enough that the shadows around him began to tear everyone in the room apart weather they were there willingly or not. Ralinis enjoyed every second of their suffering and laughed at their cries for any sorta mercy. He then took over the base and made it his for a while training his abilities and reading books about history, he loved the dark parts of it and enjoyed the stories of the cruel and evil figures who devilled into torturing. He eventfully found a safe of the Syndicates cash stores and seeing that the Syndicate or Police may come for the base any day now, he decided to make a air trip to New York. Eventually after a few crime sprees and getting a rep of rarely leaving survivors he became known as the Phantom since he was known to be extremely hard to track and pin down, the Heros that do get to him usually sustain great injuries and are traumatized by the experience of fighting him. Although now a day's most of his kills are contracted and he only kills for the fun of it on very few occasions.

Powers - Chaotic Shadow - Can make one shadow clone of himself and other living beings (The shadows he creates will be limited to his knowledge.), also enabled to coat himself in shadows to make himself more durable, is able to use shadow tendrils to attack and they will also occasionally protecting him automatically and is able to use shadow travel which enables him to become and travel through the shadows.

Weakness-
- Energy and Light Based powers or weapons can tear through his shadows like scissors against paper.
- Isn't physically strong.
- Is less willing to fight people if they appear to be too confident, especially if they seen what he can do.

Gear-

History- Baxter was raised on the shadier parts of society, he’d always been a bit of a criminal. Stealing from wherever he could get away with. When he reached his late teens his powers began to manifest, the organized crime rings which had surfaced surrounding the falling of the Guardians.

Eventually Baxter was approached with an offer, help bring in his boss and gain a reward. He always had an eye out for an opportunity so he jumped on it. After that the man seemed to turn over a new leaf, becoming a freelance hero for a time before joining a new group surfacing around New York.

Powers- Pyrokinesis: Baxter can create and control fire. He has such a control over the flames he creates that he can decide whether or not to let it burn. He cannot be harmed by fire but he did have an incident the first time he used his power.

History- Beck would’ve had a perfectly normal suburban life if she hadn’t been such a perfectionist in her young life. She was a bit of a prodigy doing extremely well in university. She manifested powers in her early twenties but didn’t get particularly interested in them until her academic career was over. Learning multiple different ways to fight with blades, not to mention the multiple uses she could get out of them.

Beck never had interest in becoming an honest to goodness hero, those different forms of swordplay as more of a hobby then anything else. She joined up with the Crusader when approached by O’brien Enterprise mostly because she was looking for a purpose at the time and being a superhero seemed as good a way to gain excitement then any other.

Powers- Beck can create blades out of her body. What the blades are made of is an anomaly, it has been measured against numerous other materials and seems to be at the very least one of the strongest materials on earth.


Weakness-

Physically she is a normal human and has all the weaknesses a normal human would have.


Gear- Normally carries at least one blade she has created.

History- Frank had a mostly quiet and normal young life until he reached adulthood and his powers manifested. He joined a circus as their strongman, which gave him a bit of a living. He gained a bit of fame with his unmatched strength and ‘invincibility’. Unfortunately, the job didn’t last forever and Frank found himself without work, until he was approached with an offer to become a superhero.

Incredible strength- Frank is incredibly strong being able to comfortable heft large trucks like they were nothing, the limit to his strength has yet to be recorded.

Invulnerability- Frank can shrug off most hits, even huge ones which would lay most men low. An example of this is some of his old acts were being shot with a primitive pistol and watching the bullet crumple off of his chest.

Weakness-
Frank may be invulnerable to outside attacks but his powers do not protect him from inhaling or ingesting dangerous substances

History- Rena is a young light-skinned woman, raised and lived in the streets of Compton. She was raised by her Grandma and her immediate family, basically, everyone who wasn't her actual mother and father. She was raised with little to no knowledge about her parents, with nothing other than the occasional "she used to", or, "he loved to", followed by a gasp and a change of subject. Occasionally she'd get brave and ask about her parents, but she was never given a straight answer. In fact, she was ignored most of the times she asked. But, it didn't matter much to her. Oddly enough she didn't feel much of a need to know them. When she was young she felt more inclined to, but as she grew older it mattered less and less.

Growing up with her Grandma and her family wasn't the easiest life. Her Grandma wasn't the normal stay at home Grandma, she was a retired Guardian, and raised her family as such. She was strict, harsh, and commanding. And yet generous and kind at the same time. She built up multiple memories within their house, many good, and much too many bad. As she grew up she saw the life she knew and loved slowly break down. She lost more and more of her family, many of them she lost to the streets, or they got caught and were in jail. Her Grandma tried her best to keep her family with her, to keep them safe regardless of the environment they were raised in. But she couldn't stop them all. It didn't take long for her family to grow less and less until it was just Ayanna and her Grandmother. That was around the time she graduated from Highschool, three years ago. And even then at that point, she lost her Grandmother. She remembers the day vividly, because of just how cold and alone she felt. She was told that her Grandma was in the wrong place at the wrong time. There was a mugging, and she simply got caught in the middle and got shot. But Ayanna always had the most sneaking suspicion. One that her Grandma hadn't just gotten caught in the middle of it, but had probably tried to directly intervene. She was always the type, the one to jump in when she wasn't needed.

Powers- Rena has multiple abilities, although she likes to put them all down as "Frost". With Frost, she becomes the embodiment of snow and ice. She can fly by mimicking a snowflake and riding the winds and can fly faster by commanding the winds to push her faster. The winds that carry her are extremely cold and can make those around her shiver. At a lesser extent she can control winds, but only cold winds enough to move light objects such as shoes and leaves. Her body in of itself is unnaturally cold, and she can bring the temperature around her to freezing temperatures. Or in other words, control her internal and external body temperature to a point where she can wave her hand around an object, or touch an object, and freeze it over. With this, she can generate and manipulate ice to do as she pleases. So far she's been seen to throw blasts of icicles, to launch streams of cold air to freeze things over, and release waves of cold air to freeze over a larger area. She can control and generate ice that isn't directly connected to her body, although the farther it is from her the harder it is to do. She can't even do it when the ice is a few feet away from her without straining herself. More Passively as well her body has changed to the point where she becomes immune to low temperatures, although can feel cold herself from overuse of her powers. She has a sort of Thermokinetic sense, where she can "see" without her eyes by seeing the cold and heat around her. Lastly, whenever she uses her powers, her eyes glow blue, and whenever she uses her powers in excess, her hair turns white. She also has yet to realize it, but she can control and emit blue bolts of lightning-like energy that completely freezes whatever it touches. With enough control over her abilities, she can actually create objects, such as swords or even people out of ice, but she hasn't had enough training or experience.

Weakness- While her body is naturally cold and she is immune to the cold, she is extremely susceptible to the heat. In hot or dry areas her abilities are weaker since there is less moisture to freeze over. Whenever her body gets too hot, she "melts", becoming numb and unable to move. As said before, excess of her abilities, either using too much or to too large a magnitude makes her body feel extremely cold. The first sign of it is her hair turning white, then her eyes completely gloss over. If she doesn't stop and heat up soon her body becomes covered in frost, and her skin becomes unbearable to touch to the human body, lest they risk getting frostbite and losing a limb. Her abilities are powered by her emotions, as such for her to be able to control her abilities well, she must be calm and "chill", to an extent. The more she becomes emotionally unstable the harder it becomes to control her abilities. Her powers themselves have no real lack of strength, what she truly lacks is precision, control, and experience.

Due to her not being aligned with any organization, nor having any aid or benefactors, she has no real Gear. Her weapons include a pipe, a wrench, and a stick, or whatever she has on hand. Her costume is nothing more than a hoodie and cargo pants.

It's highly exclusive, and in spite of it's open doors towards the evil and unkind, the papers and files that keep the club running are unnervingly clean, making it difficult for police and authorities to shut down the hub of criminal organization.
Exodus offers the chic lounge and alcohol station to the exit, a massive light show and dance floor, live DJs, and paid VIP sections that are closed off on the second floor. Entrance costs hundreds of dollars and often times have to be booked in advance. It's located in the upper section of the city, and is one of it's most known attractions.
Sylvester Thompson is the public face of the club, and though denies any known affiliation with the city's scum, he is known in the criminal underworld as the Bogeyman, mover of narcotics and weapons.

Personality:
Extremely handsome, muscular, smooth, charming, charismatic, hypnotic, irresistible, over-powering, desirable, witty and fully aware of it, Sylvester carries himself with an air of supreme confidence, charisma, and egotism (at times, pure arrogance) which is due in part to his knack for hypnotizing humans to spill their secrets to him. Because of this, Sylvester is always sure of success in whatever he does, regardless of whatever obstacles are in his way, and fears no consequences. On the rare occasions where he fails to get what he is after, Sylvester usually displays remarkable temper control, often viewing such happenings with amusement and curiosity rather than frustration. It takes a great personal attack to himself or loved one to actually enrage Sylvester and when this happens, he immediately unleashes his full wraith.

Despite his flaws, Sylvester is very loyal, cares about certain people, and even shows quite a bit of remorse for the mistakes he's made.

History:
Sylvester was raised in a broken home in the lower suburbs of the city. Unlike his younger brother June, he bore memories of their father before he left the two boys and their mother. His father, in spite of being abusive towards his wife, was loving towards Sylvester when he was the only child of the family. It wasn't till he was almost 6 that his father's attitude changed around the time of of the birth of his younger brother [June]. The arguing went on to the point where one day his father left, and never returned, and it wouldn't be years later the truth of his brother June's birth out of wedlock were revealed to him.

Life was rough for Sylvester, who, when he came of age (10) had to begin working jobs while also schooling to support his alcoholic mother and younger brother. As a cause of this, Sylvester matured faster than most of his school mates, and learned the way of the streets and how to be successful in them. He dealt drugs, worked legal jobs, and stole money to survive. He hadn't the time for much else a regular child would have, not a friend, not a game station, and no, he paid no attention to regular television. When he'd aged about 16, Sylvester was not only more experienced, but had more and more opportunity to work. But that isn't what turned his life around. Developing new abilities is what went on to save him and his family. Syl's abilities manifested in the form of a 'nightmare inducement,' and with his ability to haunt those he saw, he forced his way to the top of the drug empire in his own hood, gaining protection for himself and his brother alike, who he'd come to love dearly. He'd always kept the fact of his ability a secret, kept tight between himself and his victims. Everyone just figured he was lucky.

When he'd aged 20, Sylvester decided to turn clean in hopes of providing an attention free life for his younger brother, June. Having moved uptown, Sylvester invested money in an empty studio, and with his various connections and use of his abilities, founded Exodus nightclub at the age of 21. He's worked there since, but with a lust for chaos and his former life, he's opened the doors almost exclusively to the richest and baddest the town has to offer. He's been working Exodus since as his main passion, while putting a tight umbrella over his younger brother, who in spite of his own confidence, hopes he doesn't turn out like him.

Powers: Nightmare Manipulation -
Nightmare Inducement: Through eye contact (whether physical, via reflection, electronic) Sylvester is able to locate the greatest nightmare of a victim, and create a mental illusion for the person as long as he can maintain this gaze. The illusion's feel, and appear real to the victim, though the ability is simply mental. The possibilities of what may appear are limitless, and depend solely on the fears of whoever or whatever he torments.
Fear Absorption: Sylvester is able to absorb fear and convert it to energy, and once fully charged in crowds of fear could lead to all peak human attributes.
Fear Detection: Within whatever open space he finds himself in, Sylvester can detect fear as if it were him detecting heat. Once his eyes are switched to detect fear, rather than glowing red and warmer to detect heat, the same type of function is how he detects fear. The stronger the fear, the brighter the red colour.

Weakness:
In order for Sylvester's abilities to function, the victim must be asleep or maintain a constant eye contact even in the outside world. This obviously leads to him needing to be in close radius, or being projected largely for his abilities to function.
If the target does not have any fears, he is unable to inflict either of his powers.
While detecting fear, he cannot see through walls, and objects.

Gear:
Sylvester's gadgets range from whatever money can buy. On his person, he carries a handgun, and has bodyguards following him to his every location. He's also transported in state of the art vehicles and technology, and has connections to many "big people" in the city.

Other:
Once Sly's mother had revealed to him (aged 22) that she'd given birth to June out of wedlock, Sylvester went into a frenzy with his nightmare inducing abilities, and caused her to have a heart attack in the physical. He hasn't revealed to his younger brother the truth of his birth, and shields him from any other family other than himself.

Sylvester is a self-made millionaire and celebrity with a net worth just over 5 million dollars.

June is the more gullible and quirky of the brothers. Relying mostly on his brains rather than charisma, charm, or strength, he's been more of a loner most of his schooling career and has a difficult time with conversing due to just being a naturally shy person. He's often a klutz, and screw-up when he's stressed (tough because often times he gets in his own mind), and he's easily psyched out. In spite of this, June chose the path of the hero in hopes of avenging the death of

History:
Same backstory as his brother, constantly sheathed and in the shadow. June was often kept monitored by baby sitters and nannies set up by his brother when he was younger, but now in adulthood he owns a Manhattan apartment paid for by Sylvester, and pays a portion when he's not schooling as a pizza delivery boy. His costume was handmade, and took into consideration how to optimize his powers. Now, under the nose of his slightly criminal brother, June works a double life as an aspiring super hero and vigilante.

Powers: Electrokinesis
June is able to generate electricity from the palms of his hands, and fire them off in beams, bolts, and smaller to bigger zaps. As a cause of this, he can also absorb large sums of energy which boost his abilities and physical performance based on how much he's absorbed, as well as redirect charges and so on. He is invulnerable to the effects of electric shock, and is able to hold a fully electric form of his own. He is able to track various types of technology, and has a unique ability dubbed "Haywire" with which he can use to dampen or cancel out all electronic-powered machines in his vicinity.

In spite of his vast arsenal, June is still very inexperienced, but it said to have a great potential based on his gifts.

Despite his bubbly and cheerful personality, he usually doesn't hang out all that often with others, mostly because other people think he's crazy or because they know of his kleptomaniac tendencies.

1 - Clonation: Richard has the ability to make clones of himself. All of his clones have the same abilities as him, including the ability to create even more clones.

2 - Super Agility: Richard is capable of reaching high speeds while running (80 mph), and is able to jump very high (about 10 feet high), as well as performing wall jumps.

Weaknesses-

1 - Richard is known for not paying too much attention to his surroundings, so it's fairly easy to fool him into falling into a trap.

2 - As energetic as Richard is, even his energy has a limit. If he has too many clones out at the same time, they can drain out his energy, leaving him open to attack.

Gear-
-His suit is made of rubber, and has special boots and gloves that allow Richard to bounce off walls more efficiently. The rubber suit gives Richard special protection against electric attacks.
-He has one main gadget he can use. It's a set of rubber balls that bounce around virtually endlessly. These don't do much damage, but are meant to confuse and distract the enemy rather than attack them.

Personality- Peter is a brave and courageous sailor who is said to fear no one and nothing, and has lived all sorts of wild adventures on the seven seas. He's tough and overall serious, but isn't rude or mean. Despite his tough appearance, he's actually quite friendly and enjoys chatting or hanging out with friends. However, he doesn't hesitate at all to step into a battle, and he's always been a pretty aggressive guy on the battle field. He has a reputation of being one of the toughest guys to sail the seven seas, and he's always living up to that reputation. It may be centuries since the golden age of piracy ended, but in a messed up world like this one, Peter's been able to continue his family's legacy as the most dangerous pirates, and he's been able to make his riches. Though his main purpose is to protect his treasures, he's also gotten himself involved in hero vs villain conflicts before, and although most heroes don't consider him to be a true hero, most of the heroes he's worked with can't deny he's a helpful ally. However, most of them agree that his short temper and aggressive behavior on the battle field make him someone to watch carefully.

Powers-

1 - Super Strength: As a Cyborg, one of Peter's main advantages in combat is his super strength, which allow him to excel in close combat. He is also very resilient, and can take quite a beating.

2 - Wind Manipulation: Peter can cause certain changes in the winds around him. These affect a wide range, and although it can be a minor annoyance on land, it becomes a nightmare when fighting him at sea.

3 - Sea Creature Allies: Thanks to a technological improvement made by the most tech-savvy member of his crew, Peter is able to summon sea creatures to help him in combat, as long as they're in a range of at least 100 feet from where Peter is. Of course, this is most helpful when fighting at sea, since there's few sea creatures that can actually do any good on land.

Weaknesses-

1 - Most of Peter's powers are most helpful when fighting at sea, so by avoiding to fight him at sea, and instead finding a way to bring him to land is a healpful way to take away some of his advantages.

2 - While Peter excels in close combat, he doesn't have much defense against anyone who can strike from a long range.

-His boots can turn into flippers to help him swim better in the water.
-He has a utility belt where he keeps not only his sword, but also a few other tools he has with him, such as a spyglass to help him see from a distance, or a rope.

She knows how to be manipulative, and how to get people do what she wants. However, don't let appearances deceive you. She can seem like a fragile and sofisticated lady, but she's very skilled in combat, even without using her powers. She sometimes has the flaw of overestimating her own abilities, which can lead her to serious problems when she gets into situations she can't solve alone. Despite that, this confident and clever lady has been able to get away with most of her goals without ever being arrested.

1 - Crystal Summoning: Michelle is able to create crystals which she can use for a variety of purposes, which vary from creating a crystal shield, shooting crystal shards, or even using a large group of crystals to trap an enemy. The crystals are very hard to break, stronger than stone.

2 - Night Vision: Thanks to some special crystal lenses in her eyes, Michelle is able to see very well in the dark, which gives her an edge when fighting at night or in a dark room.

Weaknesses-

1 - Light: Michelle's eyes are specialized to help her see much better in the dark, but this makes them more sensitive to bright lights, so while regular sunlight doesn't affect her too much, any kind of bright light that hit her in the eyes can blind her temporarily.

2 - Super Strength: Her crystals are very sturdy, but anyone who has extremely high strength can break through them with almost as much ease as they break stone.

Gear-
-She keeps some smoke bombs in her suit. She can use one to make a quick escape if she's in a pinch.
-The suit gives her extreme agility, allowing her to move pretty quickly (40 mph), and also gives her good jumping and climbing skills that help her move around with great agility.

She generally prefers to avoid social interactions because she's afraid she'll mess up, though some people misunderstand this as thinking she's arrogant, when that's not the case. Despite her shy behavior, she does manage to warm up to the people that earn her trust, and she'll show the friendly and supportive side of herself.

Cryokinesis: Julie is able to generate ice, snow, and freeze things. She can create ice shards as a means of attack, freeze objects instantly by touching them, and even shoot freezing beams that can freeze things they hit. She is naturally immune to low temperatures herself. She is able to create ice and snow to build things, from small tools to large buildings, though using her ice powers too much will wear her out. She can freeze water by walking on it, creating an ice path on the surface of the water. Julie is capable of summoning a snowstorm or a blizzard in the area around her, making the temperature decrease drastically and making lots of snow fall from the sky. However, summoning a snowstorm drains lots of energy, to the point where she's left almost defenseless, so she generally only uses this as a last resort.

Weaknesses-

1 - Fire/Heat: Not only does her ice and snow melt with fire, but she also takes more damage from fire. If she is exposed to high temperatures, she becomes unable to use her powers.

Gregory is generally not aggressive, and will usually try to talk things through instead of resorting to violence. However, he's very protective of those he cares for, and of innocent people. If he sees anyone harming innocent and defenseless people, or those he cares for, then he won't hesitate to fight. He loves to learn, and he's very interested in electronics and robotics. He also loves to paint and to write. He tends to see the good in others, and likes to give everyone a second chance. However, he can be naive and gullible, easily tricked by villains who pretend to reform themselves.

Powers-

Telekinesis: Gregory is able to move things around with his mind. The amount of effort and concentration required to use this power depends on the weight of the object he's trying to move, and if he's already using his telekinesis on other objects. Gregory can also concentrate and emit a powerful energy wave from his mind. This wave expands in the direction he's facing when he creates it, and can reach a range of approximately 30 feet. Finally, Gregory can levitate himself and make himself fly around. This is done through using his telekinetic abilities on himself, and therefore requires concentration and mental effort, so he usually can't use his other abilities while flying.

Weaknesses-

1 - Physical Fragility: All of Gregory's powers are mental. He is very weak physically, so if you can find a way to land a physical hit on him, he'll go down like a regular civilian would.

2 - Distraction: All of Gregory's abilities require him to concentrate and use his mental focus to make them manifest. So anything that makes it hard for him to focus, like loud noises, or having multiple enemies moving around quickly and harassing him can make it harder for him to use his abilities.

Pyrokinesis: Rachel can engulf herself in flames, and also shoot fireballs as a means of attack. When engulfed in flames, Rachel can fly around at a very high speed (about 100 mph). Rachel can generate heat around herself, which can serve both as a protection against cold weather, and a counter to ice-based attacks. She is also immune to fire and heat herself.

Weaknesses-

1 - Water: Water-based attacks deal bonus damage to her, and make it harder for her to use her fire-based powers. Additionally, if she is inside the water, she's unable to use her fire poewrs altogether. Not to mention, she doesn't know how to swim.

2 - Emotional Influence: Most of her powers are strongly linked to her emotions. If Rachel is terrified or depressed, her powers become drastically weaker, to the point where she can barely light a candle. On the contrary, if she's furious, her fire powers become a lot more powerful, but she loses control of herself and her powers, becoming a danger even to her allies.

Gear - Her suit is made specially so it doesn't combust when she engulfs herself in flames.

History-

Ever since a young age, Veronica had a connection with animals. In fact, her entire family did, her mother and father both possessing minor powers with animals which passed to her, combining to make her more powerful than her parents. At first she only weakly bonded with animals, the shallow understanding of life and the lack of nuance to a child's feelings keeping her from truly connecting. It wasn't until she found a group of older elementary school classmates tormenting a young bat they had found that she had her first experience with a deeper bond and an experience which changed her life.

She attempted to stop the children but was far too young to be effective. They stuffed the bat into a plastic bag, tied it, and then threw it in a nearby dumpster, mocking Veronica the entire time before leaving. Hearing the soft but panicked sounds of the baby, she crawled into the dumpster and found the bag, opening it and letting out the young creature, desperate to save it. In that moment she felt a bond snap into place and the bat's pain and terror overwhelmed her as it died in her hands. Veronica was left shell-shocked and non-responsive, remaining so even when her parents found it.

It was months before they coaxed her into responding and soon after she took to life once more, no longer an innocent child who made friends with small creatures after school. Now she was extremely aware of the cruelty of humans and the nature of death. That was the day she learned to hate humanity. Despite the few good individuals, the whole was corrupt and poison to the world.

She grew up, keeping her emotional distance from her peers and practicing her abilities. She excelled in school and began building connections. She briefly entered veterinary school but soon learned that the institution favored the owner's interest over those of the animal, no matter the cost. Instead she went to law school and once more excelled, her cunning and emotional disconnect to the humans she would defend or prosecute aiding her endeavors. She worked her way up to becoming the head of a large and successful law firm while at the same time building connections and collecting favors and debts from the criminals she defended. Once she had herself firmly enough entrenched, she joined a underground criminal group and worked her way up the ranks. She used her abilities and animals, only rarely calling in favors. Now she sits at the top, having earned her spot "properly," and holds the loyalty of those who work for her.

Powers -
She has the ability to communicate with animals of all kinds in a true two-way communication. Her power is based on a combination of sounds, body language, and pheromones which she uses in different ways depending on the animal. For the sounds and body languages, she has an instinctual understanding of the “languages” of different animals and can mimic them exactly. The pheromones work in a similar manner but are unconsciously used. Beyond this, she can bond with animals at varying levels and thus get them to follow her commands. These bonds are based on both mutual trust between her and the animal and a pheromone-based response. She can break lower levels bonds more easily than the upper level bonds. Minor bonds are broken simply by acknowledging to the animal that they should go their separate ways or by enough time + distance. Firm bonds can only be broken if trust is broken between the two and can cause the animal to turn against her. A true bond can only be broken by a betrayal or death.


1. No bond -> Can communicate with the animal and attempt to convince it to do what she asks. (No limit to number)
2. Minor bond -> She and the animal have reached an understanding. It will be more likely to follow her commands but can still choose not to. (Limited to 30 animals, though this also partly depends on their size and intelligence levels -> Discussed more in weaknesses)
3. Firm bond -> The two have begun to work as partners. The animal is unlikely to refuse a demand unless it is likely to cause certain death. She can feel when the animal is nearby and feel echoes of its pain. (Limited to 5)
4. True bond -> The two are true friends and companions. The animal will not refuse a demand, even if would cost it life or limb. She can feel the animal deeply and would be greatly pained by injury to it and death would leave her distraught. (Limited to 2)

Weakness-
Mainly based on the animals she has control of at the moment.
1) She has limits on the number of animals she can have bonds with, though she has no limit on the number she can attempt to communicate with. However, if a group of animals with very differing communication styles are together, she will struggle to communicate with the entire group effectively.

2) Although she can have a minor bond to quite a group of animals, it is partly dependent on size and threat. For example, she could use her whole limit to bond with 30 rats or she could have a bond with a minor bond with 2 or 3 predatory cats and then maybe 10 rats. Again, the minor bond does not guarantee they will follow orders.
3) At higher levels of bonding (firm and true bonds) she begins to feel lashback from pain or damage of her animals if they are within her range. If outside her pheromone range, the feedback pain is not present. But she does form an emotional bond to her creatures and would still be devastated and enraged upon discovering their pain/death. This could lead her to react irrationally.
4) She is limited in range because she does have to communicate by sight, sound, or scent. While she could give a command to an animal to go do something outside of her range, unless she has some sort of communication pathway with them, she won’t know exactly what happens to be able to command further. She does work around this with technology.

Gear- (Still thinking but some things below)

  • Maintains a stash of gear specifically for her animals. This primarily is small wireless cameras and two-way microphones along with a variety of harnesses which can be attached to her animals. This allows her to send them for missions, primarily the covert kind, while still maintaining contact and control.
  • She also has on staff several veterinarians and knows a “blacksmith” of sorts who is willing to craft armor for her animals upon request. Currently she only has one set of armor for her true-bonded panther.

Appearance - (Trying to find pictures that do her justice)
Ama, also known as Valkyrie, looks very similar to what the Norse may have imagined. She is a rather small woman, though with a powerfully built warrior's physique. She has long golden hair which she normally keeps in a braid, and dark blue eyes. Resting on the top of her head are two large thick horns curving back along the top of her head with a gentle twist to them. They at the base they are gold, then red, purple, and black at the tips like the colors of dusk. The tips are not particularly sharp and the horns do nothing for her in combat other than theoretically blocking strikes to the very top of her head and are more ornamental. They are also quite sensitive. Behind her spread two giant wings with impressive wingspans necessarily for true flight. Similar to her horns, the colors move from gold at the very bottom to red, purple, then black at the very tops.

History- Valkyrie was born strange. She was born to two perfectly normal people who had chosen each other due to lack of powers. Their daughter was born with both small horn nubs and wing nubs. She was also quite fragile and weak, bruising easily and her bones hollow and weaker than the average person. Her parents immediately gave her up, both out of concern for not being able to care for such a child and fear of her non-human appearance and nature. Throughout her childhood she bounced from home to home in the foster care system. Each time she found trouble due to her appearance. But no matter how many times the other kids broke her bones or bruised her, she miraculously healed quickly. Eventually she found a home with a wonderful couple with very minor "gifts" as they called them. After finishing college at a very young age, never quite fitting in at any point, she went to medical school followed by veterinary school but never did a residency either or anything beyond the most basic years of training. Instead she set off on travels around the world learning and trying to find a place to fit in.

Although some cultures cried devil and other worshiped her as an angel, she never found a place where she fit in. Instead, she learned ancient medicinal arts and complex physical skills, becoming proficient in numerous weapons and martial arts and coming close to mastery in some. Now she has returned to her homeland, New York City, partly to be near her family but also to use her knowledge and skills to help the heroes while trying to find where she fits in.

Powers-
1. Wings of dusk with true flight (not just gliding, though she glides when she can). Capable of vertical take off. Her wings are the colors of dusk with darker black and blue feathers toward the tops brightening into purple and then brighter feathers of red and gold toward the bottom.
2. Physical alterations to sustain flight - Similar to birds, she has hollow bones that are more easily broken compared to a human's. This is included in her wings. She also has lungs similar to flight-capable birds, meaning that when she breaths in a portion of the air is stored without going through the lungs and then goes through the lungs on exhale, meaning to get oxygen on both the in-breath and out-breath. Her musculature is also different from a humans, with a large number of altered muscular connections in her upper body in order to power her wings and make her capable of true flight.
3. Healing field - She can generate both a passive and active healing field. Her passive field is constant around her and primarily focuses on healing damage to her own body, which is part of the reason she is even capable of supporting her own wings and body weight. People who are close enough may benefit from minor healing (scratches, bruises, etc. healing). She can shift focus to an active field healing which reaches further and heals broken bones and damaged organs in others. However, this healing is both slow (not instantaneous) and requires that she halt her passive field, thus meaning she is no longer healing herself. She is also incapable of healing mortal wounds and fatal diseases like cancers.

Weakness -
1. Hollow bones and wings -> Her bones are fairly easy to break and her wings are easily crippled. Despite her healing, it is still extremely painful and takes time for her to heal.
2. Healing active field requirements -> The fact that she has to stop healing herself to heal anyone around her is a major limiting factor on her support capabilities. As long as she can remain safe and uninjured, she can heal her teammates quite well but when threatened or injured, she has to decide whether to heal herself or heal her teammates. Additionally not being able to heal fatal wounds.

Gear-
She wears an outfit made of extremely light but durable materials including bullet-proof material constructed in such a fashion that it takes on the appearance of armor. Although the "armor" would not protect her as well as real metal armor, it does protect her from fatal gunshots and glancing blows of weapons. She cannot wear too much more in the way of armor and equipment before risking being too heavy to fly.
