Mankind invents all sorts of new technology every few years, within those years amazing devices were built, legends were born and we all thought everything was peaceful. Eventually research labs all over Earth discovered a small fragment of our minds, hidden deep within our thoughts, influencing our choices and helping us shape our personality. One man had a dream, to make this fragment real, he wanted to communicate with it, converse with it and truly see a persons innermost desires.
Affectionately named Ghost, this mans dream became a reality as tech grew into a dominating culture of the world. People could go to hospitals and have a chip implanted into their wrist, giving them the power to summon their Ghost.
However only few survive this gruelingly painful process, as most of the time the Ghost will reject the machine, forcing it to electrocute the entire body, killing most people. Yet rarely, some Ghosts willingly accept the machine and manage to form themselves with physical matter in the air around them.
All ghosts are about 8cm tall and vary in width. They can also fly around in the air due to gravity having no effect on them. Ghosts are truly amazing.
A war broke out leaving cities in ruins, billions dead and a cyber wasteland in its wake. Only a few million people were left on the planet, oddly enough almost all of them were able to manifest Ghosts. People divided into factions, classes and states. Each having perks over another. Conflict sparked between them all until a new threat arose from the ashes of space. Multiple meteors crashed into earth, all of them held a virus that infected objects such as rocks or fire, turning them into deadly mindless beasts.
Everyone was forced to cooperate with eachother to face this new threat and only one city on earth remains where the Humans and Ghosts will fight to death to protect it.
Its name is Phantom.

This roleplay uses an inventory system in which everything your character has on them is recorded under the 'Items' tab. You may only carry 10 items at a time for each character (excluding basic clothing) unless some item expands their inventory.
Also, to note I (CoffeeTea) will decide if the loot/items you obtain are legal or not. For example, you cannot go: 'Ben opened a crate and found mecha armor than turns him into an invincible robot.' This would be classified as 'illegal'.
It would be more like 'Ben opened a crate and found a rusty plasma pistol that hardly works.' Make sure what you find is sensible.
Please keep it fair and use this system, it puts less strain on me to keep things in order. This system is in place so that all players have a fair chance at getting good items.
There are 3 different classes, here i will list them and what they can do.
[Warlock]
This class expels the energy of their Ghost in the form of "Magic". The Warlock can do basic attacks such as throw fireballs or whisk up a special type of grenade that seeks out enemys and hits them. Warlocks specialize in Long Range. Its weakness is the Hunter.
[Titan]
This is the class that absorbs the energy hidden within their Ghost to defend themselves or others by making things such as barriers of light or a giant bubble that deflects bullets. Titans specialize in Mid Range. Its weakness is the Warlock.
[Hunter]
Harnessing the energy piled up in their ghost, Hunters can enhance weapons to make them stronger or make entirely new weapons made of light for a short amount of time. Hunters specialize in Close Range. Its weakness is the Titan.
