Welcome to Grimm’s!
{Application Letter}

Greetings, and welcome to Grimm’s Dormitory for Royal and Rebel Youth, where we provide education for children whom are of royal and rebellious DNA. For the entirety to the four semesters, we will take your child off of your hands and properly treat them the ways of royalty, or to properly teach them to be rehabilitated from their negative tendencies, if they wish to participate. When they have returned, you will see your child will have changed for a better.

At Grimm’s, we pride ourselves on strict disciplinary actions, as students are expected to follow the rules, no matter their past or parents. Failure to follow requested terms or orders presented by faculty personnel will result in isolation and punishment based on the severity of the crime at hand. Stealing something belonging to another student will result in kitchen duty, while arguing with another will lead to infinite solidarity from others, where students will have adequate time to consider what they have done and how they may repair their mistakes to correct them once more.

Our philosophy is that all children should have a chance to be more than what their relatives once were. It is for this reason we shall allow rebels and royals to intertwine, to learn from each other and to learn from one another in a positive space. We are aware of the concern that raises amongst parents and guardians, but rest assured, we will be closely monitoring students at all times and shenanigans will not be tolerated on the premises. Students observed breaking head rules will be properly dealt with in a timely manner.

It is our pleasure to open our doors to the public for another year, and do what we must to have your children be the leaders of tomorrow. We are open to accepting old and new faces, yet we ask nonetheless for those to submit another forum for proper filing.

HISTORY Valor had the potential of growing up into a spoiled, wealthy prince. Though this was quickly turned over when his parents divorced by the time he was three. It was decided that his twin sister would stay with his mother, Queen Rapunzel, and he would remain with his father, Flynn Ryder. Flynn left the castle and raised Valor in his original hometown; a city stricken with poverty and gang violence. Valor had managed to avoid the darkest parts of the city as he grew up but the separation of his parents did little to improve his attitude. HISTORY(BACKSTORY) Born into the Charming family, Alice was expected to live to the highest of standards. To have the best of educations, said her father, and rather her mother wished her to follow her dreams. This did in fact inflict internal turmoil between the couple, causing Alice to feel as though she were to be of their blame. As she’s grew older, Alice was pushed into many extracurricular activities, those of whom she enjoyed, yet her life was baffled with quite a lot, she still had kindness in her heart. At the age of thirteen, she was drawn into cheerleading, which her father found to be her training to land the crown. She had been taught through doing so that life was a competition, and she needed to win. She began comparing herself to others. Her mother disapproved of this, but wanted her daughter to be happy. The experience in cheer had completely changed Alice on the outer surface, to others, she appeared to be bitchy and rude, whereas around her family she is to be goofy and a bit of a geek. She is an amazing actor, and often keeps her childhood friends close or relatively, if they are not considered to be rebels. HISTORY(BACKSTORY) Being a bitch doesn’t come easy to most. For Rowen Hood, however, that was just the case. With her dad out of the photo and her mom obsessed with some wolf, Rowen found herself wandering the woods on her own at an early age. With an itching urge to steal and a town filled with shiny objects, it wasn’t long before the girl got caught ‘red-handed.’ However, that didn’t stop her. With encouragement from all the wrong type of people, Rowen soon was racking up a treasure trove of stolen goods. Throw in some messy and downright ugly relationships, mix it all around with an unemotional and unattached mother, and finish it off with a piss poor outlook on life, and you got the beautiful disaster that is Rowen Hood. With a cruel tongue and a wicked gleam in her eyes, no one is safe from her relentless mocking. Still...Maybe it's just a defense mechanism. Or maybe, she really is just that bad of a person. HISTORY(BACKSTORY): Kivuli grew up knowing that he was destined for great things. His birth was a physical manifestation of the peace that had finally settled over the Pridelands Inc. after all of the tragedy that affected their land. While growing up, him and his other 4 siblings had grown up being taught that one day they would be responsible for protecting the legacy that will be passed down onto them. As a young cub, Kivuli nodded along as if that was one of the most natural things in he world. He was often in the spotlight due to his strong resemblance to great grandpa Mufasa but he had such a wild streak that no one was prepared for. He would often leave home in search of new partners, fight those that even glanced his way in a fashion that didn't sit well with him, and was prone to getting in trouble. The tribe would often meet and wonder what to do with their problem child that continued to act up even as he started school. Kivuli's charisma is what kept him from the more severe punishments but even that couldn't save him when had ended up with 2 other teens in the hospital after they had tried to pull rank on him when he was only a freshmen. His father was so concerned for his son turning into the same narcissistic beast that his own father was that he decided it was best for Kivuli to be taken care of by people that had helped other delinquents get back on the right path. If he was to be of any use to the company in the future he would have to get his shit together before his family would be forced to kick him out to avoid future problems with the media.​

HISTORY(BACKSTORY):
Arianna was born out of wedlock to her mother and a man that she would never know. Because of the stories her mother told her, Arianna always held a grudge against the man-- how could he not want his own daughter? Disgusted by a thought process she didn't understand, her grudge eventually grew to a small amount of hatred. Her mother never helped put the fire, either; if anything, she just added fuel.

Growing up without a father figure took a toll on Arianna. Her mother would bring home boyfriend after boyfriend, leaving Arianna alone more often than not to keep herself busy. Some were abusive, some were pervy. The older she got, the easier it got. Eventually, her mother married a rich man (to her delight) and things took a turn for the 'better' for them. Behind her mother's back, he made it clear that he would basically give Arianna whatever she wanted as long as she basically left them alone.

In public (i.e.; at school) she puts on a front, not letting anyone but those closest to her know about her unhappy home life. To anyone outside of her circle, she wants to appear perfect.
