Oliver set his hand gently in his lap, his leg finally stopping its spazzing. Listening to his sisters words carefully, he adjusted his glasses briefly before continuing. Smirking momentarily as she tried to play him as a foul, before the flicker in her eyes told him she realized her mistake. Raising a eyebrow at her confusi... She couldn’t see it. She was still hung on her ex husband...

Sighing, he removed his glasses, and rubbed his icy eyes. Though his vision was blurred it felt good to not have his frames on. “I know the two of you flirt, but I know Harvey like I know you. I can read the two of you like a bloody book, always have been able to... But the point is, your attraction to one another is pretty obvious.” Her next comments about professionalism intrigued him. “He is my protégée, and that is why I am asking you right now. If it was another guy I wouldn’t muddle in your business... But your my priority over him. So if you like him, go for it.”

Alena cleared her throat as he was explaining and she allowed him. Alena was a very civilized person and she felt as if being independent and having a child has made her see a different viewpoint of life. Alena did come across Rayna when her father had sent her to Italy only once or twice. But she never expected to hear that James was her cousin, that was like the icing on her cake for today. Not really, she wasn't exactly thrilled about this matter. "Mhmm, it was a twisted world we lived in. It really was," Alena said to James as he explained how her father murdered his dad and Angel murdered Lucy's father. Alena didn't like the way James said Angel's name at all. Alena let out a light chuckle when James told her that she couldn't take anything from him. "I would never want to own anything that is or once was yours, and you know that," Alena said calmly. "So do not act like I ever wanted anything from you, James," Alena added.

As she let out a soft sigh, she heard James mention how he had little ones and not so little ones. Jesus, just how old are these people? She questioned to herself to hear that James and Lucy had grandchildren already which was beyond her belief. Alena let out a soft smile, "I am happy to hear that your family has blossomed, it is such a thrill seeing how they grow." Alena said and she genuinely meant it.

When she felt a hand on her shoulder, Dottie turned to see her mother standing next to her. After being pestered by the man, it was a much welcomed relief to have her mother with her. When Mallory went on to threaten the creep, Dottie couldn't have felt proud and happier. She loved how close her family could be. She was also grateful for and fond of people like Desmond and Harvey who looked out for her and her family. She linked her arm with her mother's and remained silent as she listened to the interaction.

When Desmond suggestion the two ladies left for the night, Dottie nodded and sent the him a grateful smile. "Of course. Thank you..." she told him, before turning to walk away with Mallory.

The man, meanwhile, had been surprised when Mallory turned up. He knew her to be Dexter Morgan's wife and was shocked to realise the teenage girl was Morgan's daughter. Desmond would have noticed the man's tough attitude fizzle out a little at that moment. He awkwardly watched as Dottie left with her mother. He then looked back to Desmond and relaxed his own threatening stance. "It would appear this has been a huge misunderstanding," he began to explain, suddenly sounding like a completely different man. "If you don't mind, I should retire for the night myself," he explained. He would hold back in case Desmond had other ideas, otherwise, he would rush off rather sheepishly.

Desmond was relieved to see Dorothy take the opportunity to retreat with her mother -- though he had little doubt that if the two Morgan women had chosen to expend their ire on the mystery man it would have been at the latter's peril. As Des returned his attention to Dottie's assailant, he saw the blanched expression he now wore, a far cry from the domineering confidence he had exuded only moments before. While Mallory's rather aggressive arrival would be enough to make anyone think twice, in this case Desmond suspected it was more the man's recognition of who she was -- and by extension whom that made Dorothy -- rather than the woman's actions that had accounted for his sudden and drastic change in demeanor.

It was all Desmond could do to keep his mouth from curving into a thin smirk as the man, clearly flustered, attempted to excuse himself. In another situation, Des might have followed the man into the dark before making an example of him. He wouldn't kill him, of course -- the man hadn't even come near crossing that unspoken line -- but an alleyway beating leaving him with a few bruises and a healthy reminder to respect the fairer sex (especially when they were a member of the Morgan family) was another matter altogether. As tempting as it was to do just that in order to do right by his employers' family, he knew now wasn't the time or place. It could cause trouble with Francis if she caught wind of it, and the man was clearly influential enough that he could cause more of a headache for the Morgans than the average street tough.

That said, Des hardly planned to let the man off that easy. "I think that's best," he said quietly before raising his voice to call after the man. "And sir, I would advise you to keep your distance from Dorothy in the future... or that bruise she gave you will be the least of your worries." With a parting glare, Desmond watched the man scramble from the establishment like a dog with a tail tucked between his legs. Des sighed, straightening his tie before making his way out into the night air.

The Russell Household
William Russell

hjnkjh.png After the fundraiser, Will and Jacky had returned to their own home rather than his family home. Not only having an earlier night than usual he'd been happy to have a peaceful one too and the busy Russell household was generally not very peaceful. He was up early the next morning and wasted no time in calling one of his men to find out how things had gone back at the casino without him. There'd been some important businessmen gambling during the night but other than a few bruised egos for those who lost money, it had been a relatively peaceful affair. Some of the men who had shown up weren't overjoyed with Will's absence but he could deal with that. He told his men to ensure everything was cleared out for the next few days as he expected the Morgans to turn up and throw their weight around. He wanted to make sure they found nothing and that the smugness was wiped from their faces.

Will waited for Jacky to get ready as he promised to stop in at his family's house. He wanted to make sure everyone got home safely and he also needed to have words with Timmy.

When he'd parked the car in the driveway, Will rushed out to open the door for Jacky and hold her hand as they walked into the house. "Let's wake the stragglers up," he playfully suggested to his fiancee. As soon as they entered the house, Will announced his arrival by loudly shouting for the "lazy buggers" to get out of bed. He was sure his loud entrance would annoy his mother, which is why he did it. Clementine was too much fun sometimes. "Timmy? Are you home?" he called out.

hb.png Dottie woke up on Sunday morning feeling bright and cheerful, despite what had happened with the creepy man the previous night. She'd been very grateful for Desmond's and her mother's intervention as the man had kind of hurt her wrist, even if she hadn't drawn attention to or spoken about it at the time. She wasn't sure where today would take her, but she always made a point of styling her hair and getting dressed up, just in case something fun came up. She grabbed her acoustic guitar and began playing some of her favourite rock songs. As she closed her eyes, she couldn't help but wish she was at a festival with her friends or watching a concert somewhere. Having had a disappointing night, she was craving doing something fun today.

Dottie had at the very least expected a tired and grumpy Imogen to storm into her room and tell her to stop playing music so early, but she hadn't. She decided to go to the guest room where her sister often crashed, but was disappointed to find she hadn't come home after the party, despite promising she would spend some time with her family. "Miss Isaac is far too famous to waste her time with us," Dottie complained to herself.

Still, she picked herself back up and headed downstairs to see if any of her family were awake. "Good morning!" she cheerfully and melodically called out to anyone who was present. "How is everyone feeling today?" she happily asked.

Mallory woke up early that morning and got out of bed, mindful not to wake her husband as she crept over to their wardrobe. Mallory picked out a pair of trousers and a flowery top and got dressed before making her way downstairs.
The house was a calming quite as she walked down the stairs she wondered how Imogens night had gone, knowing that she had not come home with them last nights Mallory couldn’t help but wonder how Dottie was after the event last night, she made a point to herself to talk to her daughter later in the day before she went out to do whatever young people do these days.
Mallory was pouring herself a cup of coffee when she heard her daughters cheery voice coming from behind her “good morning” she replied with a smile as she turned around to hug her daughter. “Do you want some coffee?” She asked her as she poured her own “and how are you today dear?” She asked, the slightest tone of concern present in her voice

The undistinguishable haze that surrounded the mountains of Korea in the morning had always shook him. The peaceful uneasiness of the mountains had always stained his mind...

Snapping awake, he could feel the few beads of sweat upon his brow, his dreams usually causing that affect. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes as he ran a hand over his face. Waking up had always been hard after the war...

After a shower and such, Oliver had decided to take the morning to himself. Calling both his sister and Harvey to change the meeting to a small café a few blocks away. But now he sat upon his balcony in his robe and slippers, taking in the loud silence of London in the morning. Taking a sip of his coffee, he adjusted his glasses with a sigh, the sound of Otis Redding on the record echoing from his living room.

Deciding he had wasted enough time, Oliver limped into the home, and to his bedroom. Changing into his suit, which was simply navy and white, he made his way to the bathroom. Doing his usual routine of his hair and whatnot, he paused briefly. The pills.... Opening his bottommost drawer, he quickly removed the towels that hid his medicine, and snatched the orange bottle that laid forgotten. Unscrewing the lid, he quickly thumbed a trio of pills, and with a swift movement took them dry....Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath. Years ago he had taken the pain medicine for his leg, but the side effects had proven to much for him and the family. But hey, he was a lost cause anyways....?

Oliver had been the first to arrive at the cafe, and chose a table outside. Ordering himself a coffee, he sat patiently, the pills doing their work. He felt better than he had in years, and he knew Allison would be in a good mood to see her dear brother happy.

Evelyn was definitely a light weight when it came to drinking, the rest of last night was sort of a blur. She had woken up early the next morning, her clock sounding off at exactly 6:30 am. She had woken up with a slight headache and wasn't looking forward to rehearsals for her ballet performance of The Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikovsky. When she had arrived at rehearsal, simply stretches and warm up seemed to prove more than difficult for her with a slight hangover, but she pushed through. Luckily for her,at least for this day, she had only received a smaller part in the show, playing as one of the fairies. She was then the understudy for the lead role of Princess Aurora but hasn't had to prove to their director that she knew the whole choreography just yet, as the main dancer was rarely absent or late for rehearsal.

Although she wasn't the lead, it was still a huge opportunity for her to showcase her talents to recruiters of dance companies around London and beyond. A part of her was ready to be something more than just her family name, what her brothers had made quite known over the years. She wanted to have her own life since she wasn't allowed to be heavily involved in the one she was living now. Evelyn had arrived home and noticed the extra cars in the driveway. Walking inside the house, she looked around. "Hello?" She asked curiously, slinging her dance bag over her shoulder. She heard William's voice echo throughout the house and she smiled widely before sprinting to see her older brother. "Willie! Jacky! Good morning!" She chirped cheerfully offering both of them a tight hug. "They are still asleep huh?" She asked looking up towards the staircase before sighing. "I'm going to go make some coffee if anyone would like some, got a bit of a headache." With that, the brunette and youngest of the Russell's skipped towards the kitchen.

with: Oliver ReverseTex ReverseTex mentions:
After the discussion she had with Oliver the night before, Allison was finding it very hard to think about anything else at the moment. Sitting on her made bed, she held her wedding photo in her hands. The man that stared back at her had once been her entire life, someone she had vowed to love until death finally parted them. Death had arrived far too soon in her opinion and now she was left confused and alone. Oliver had given her the okay to make a move on Harvey, who in reality, she never thought would have been a possibility for her. The business her family was in was considerably messy and relationships only made it more complicated. Sighing, she looked towards her clock on her bedside table and knew she would have to get ready now if she wanted to make it to the cafe only a few blocks away from her brother's place. Setting the picture face down on her table, she moved towards her bathroom and proceeded to get ready for the day.

Pulling on a red dress with nude heels, Allison kept her appearance natural and simple feeling awfully tired from the events of the night before. Grabbing her nude coat hanging on the coat rack near her front door, she reached for her purse and moved it over her shoulder before heading out the door, locking the apartment up, she was on her way.

* * *
Walking into the cafe, she scanned the area around her in search of a familiar face or two. Smiling widely as her icy blue eyes landed on her brother, she walked towards the booth before sitting opposite of him. "Well good morning Ollie, you are looking wonderful today! Feeling better?" She asked sweetly before a waitress interrupted the beginning of their small talk. "I'll take a coffee please." She said to the young woman before watching her walk away.

Francis' walk with Stephen was a nice one, despite it being cut short. She needed to get back to finally relieve Margaret of her duties. Once she had, she locked the door and headed back to her apartment. As soon as she stepped foot inside, she closed the door and threw her shoes to the side. She didn't even bother with taking off her makeup or even fully getting out of her dress. Bed was calling her name and she was set on answering the call. Sleep came to her quickly and she enjoyed her dreamless sleep. Until it turned into a nightmare. The same one, of course. Where the guilt of her parents haunted her. It made her sleep worse than staying up for hours on end.

Somehow she manged to sleep through it and wake up somewhat rested. Her eyes just shot open and she stared at the white ceiling for what seemed like hours. When she finally did get up she took a bath and sat with a face mask for a while. She didn't have much planned for the day; breakfast then getting the money off to the orphanage and whatever else came her way. A few hours passed before she even left saying goodbye to Rafi, her fluffy white Samoyed. She then made her way to a nearby bistro ordering the same thing she always did; a large coffee and a muffin.

After the night ended at the Alley Cat, Timmy found himself finding another party to hit up. Again he would turn up in the house but this time without a woman next to him. It was an actual surprise that he hadn't. It just wasn't in his agenda to go home with a female as it was to drink and get high. He woke up and for the first time, there wasn't a glass of water on his nightstand. It confused him as he got up from bed and decided to take a shower. It was a long and thoughtful shower, mostly about his life and what he planned to do with it. Maybe start getting his head in the game and get a real job, stop doing drugs. Oh, but drugs were so nice and they made him feel great. How could he possibly just abandon it?

His shower was cut short when he heard his name being called. At first he just thought it to be his mind playing tricks on him until he heard it again. It sounded like William was calling him. He quickly got dressed and headed down the stairs with a towel around his neck. "You're always so loud, mate, why is that?" He told him before heading off into the kitchen, just in time to see his mother sneaking in through the kitchen door.

Clementine's night actually didn't end as one would think. Instead of returning home as she had told her son, she ended up at another's home. There was a man she was talking to all night and using her feminine charms, convinced him to take her to his. Of course, she wouldn't let other people see her leave with him. She left the building alone but entered the car with this mystery man. She instructed the driver to keep his mouth shut or he wouldn't have to deal with her sons, he'd have to deal with her. Usually she'd have a bag on stand by so she didn't have to do the walk of shame but that was years ago. Plus, she hadn't really expected to be out that way.

The next morning she would sneak out of the man's bed unnoticed and head back home. It wasn't that far of a walk and she could use the fresh air, so she called off her ride. She had hoped her children would be fast asleep when she returned. In case they weren't, she went through the kitchen since they would very rarely ever be there. Only to find Timothy staring at her with a cocky grin on his face.

"Well, well, well. Look what the cat dragged in. And just where were you, young lady?" Clementine scoffed at him and placed her heels on the ground. "I don't have to answer to you."

As he approached the kitchen with Jacky, Will was stopped when he heard his lovely sister's voice greet him. He turned around to accept the tight hug, lifting her a little off the floor in the process. "Good morning, Evelyn," he greeted her with a fond smile. "No doubt they are all still asleep. How did we end up with such a lazy family?" he joked. "I would love a coffee, thank you," he told her. He was glad to see his sister had made it home safely after the event and even happier that she seemed in good spirits.

Timmy soon walked past them and told Will he was loud. "Someone's got to wake you lot up and kick this house into shape," he remarked, with a wide grin. He followed his brother into the kitchen, along with Jacky and Evelyn, his smile soon dropped from his face when he saw his mother sneaking into the house. "Wow..." he said, struggling for a witty remark. The grin soon returned to his face as he tried to suppress any laughter. "All of your kids made it back home before sunrise. And to think, our dear old mother was so tired when she left the club." He pulled out a chair and sat at the dining room table. "So, who kept you out all night?" he curiously asked, despite doubting she would want to answer him.

Dottie was happy when she saw her mother in the kitchen and she gladly returned the warm hug. "Oh, I'd love some coffee, thank you," she said. Granted she would add about five teaspoons of sugar into the hot drink to sweeten it to her liking, but she always did have a sweet tooth. "I'm good, not even tired," she answered her mothers question. However, as she glanced to the bruise on her wrist she knew why her mother asked her how she was. The concerned tone of voice should have been enough to tell her that really. "That creepy old jerk is soooo last night," she exaggeratedly told her mother. "The next party I go to, I'm bringing a friend, yeah?" she suggested. Clearly, the unsavoury encounter had done nothing to dampen her spirits and certainly hadn't put her off from going to more parties.

"What are you doing today, mum?" she curiously asked. "Uncle Ollie and Aunt Allie barely even talked to us last night. I take it it's all business again today? On the holy day of rest too..." she mockingly trailed off, scoffing a little. Once her coffee was poured she began piling in the spoons of sugar.

Clem moved over to the stove to put on a kettle of tea before turning around to face her children. Now it was their turn to chastise her for coming in the next day. Wearing the same clothes she was partying, no doubt. She just scoffed and waved her hand. "I don't have to answer to any one of you." Timothy raised his eyebrows and gave her a grin. "Oh? We're just trying to make sure you were safe." He winked at her and stretched out of the way as Clementine raised her hand to hit him. He sat down on the counter with a muffin in his hand, far from Clementine's reach. "I was tired... Which is why I slept over someone else's place. It was a lot closer and more convenient than coming home, is all." She gave an innocent shrug while taking down a cup. "All of you can shove it and stop asking me crazy questions. Don't you have anything better to do?"

Evelyn didn't say anything on her mother's sleepover as she moved to make some coffee. It was none of her business and her mother was a grown woman who could do as she please. But when her brother's began hounding her, Evelyn stepped in with the roll of her eyes and a short laugh. Pouring the pot of hot black liquid into two coffee cups, she handed one to William before moving to grab the cream and sugar. Giving him a stern look, she sighed, "Now now William, Timothy, if Mother doesn't want to tell, she doesn't have to. Respect the privacy of a woman who gave you life yes?" She asked before grabbing her own cup and walking to grab a spoon from the drawer. On the way she placed a kiss on her mother's cheek, "Women like their privacy, believe it or not. We gossip, but that's about other women, not ourselves." She chuckled and spoke in a tone that suggested her brother's should have known that face.

She added cream and two sugars to her coffee before turning around and leaning against the counter and sighing, the dull ache in her head still bringing her some pain. She held her cup with two hands before bringing it to her lips and taking a long sip. "What is everyone doing today? Besides drilling our mother with questions about her sleepover?" She asked after setting her cup back down on the counter.

Mallory rolled her eyes at her daughter but a smile played on her features as she claimed the man was sooo last night “good, you don’t let scum like that get you down” she told her daughter as she made her a cup of coffee. “I think that’s a good idea, it’ll give you someone to talk to other than us old farts” she laughed before turning to her daughter to give her coffee “and a partner to sneak drinks with” she added with a smirk, letting her daughter know that Mallory knew what she was up to at the fundraiser.
Mallory took a seat at the table and took a sip off her coffee while Dottie asked her plans for the day “I don’t know yet, I’ll have to see when your father gets up but yes I suppose it will all be about business” she told her “Ah I think business was on their minds last night darling”. Mallory was aware that something had been uncovered last night to do with the Russels but she wasn’t going to tell Dottie this, she didn’t need to worry about the family business.
“So what are your plans for today?” She asked her with a smile on her face

Between Clementine's protests she didn't have to explain herself and Timmy winding her up about just wanting to make sure she was safe, Will couldn't help but find the situation amusing. Suspicious and curious, but also amusing. When his mother attempted to hit his brother, Will could only let out a short laugh. Then came his mother's explanation about sleeping over at someone else's place due to being tired, he maintained his smile, but also the suspicious glint in his eyes. "That someone being-?"

Will had been cut off from asking his question when Evelyn came to the defence of their mother. He accepted his tea and warmly thanked his sister. "Ahh, you're just sucking up, Evelyn. What are you after this time?" he teased her. He glanced to Jacky and then back to the other two ladies. "Nah, I get it. You women are just sticking together..." he trailed off. "Steer clear of the feminists, Timmy. It's an argument you'll never win," he remarked. He fully expected one of the three women to slap him, but it didn't deter him from his teasing.

Dottie nodded her head affirmatively when told not to let scumbags get her down. "Of course not, mum. At least I managed to get a punch in before he left," she proudly noted. She faintly smiled when told bringing a friend next time would prevent her from being bored with the oldies. "Sneaking drinks? I wouldn't dream of such a thing!" she feigned offence. In truth, she knew the party hadn't been so fun because Darius hadn't shown up. Whilst she'd had a nice time talking to Alena, it was Darius she'd hoped to see there.

"Did dad have too much to drink...? More business?!" she scoffed, hearing her parents would likely be busy with that today. "You two need to get a hobby or go on holiday! This whole family does," she noted, thinking of her aunt and uncle too. When asked what she was going to do today, Dottie shrugged her shoulders. "I haven't decided yet. I'd hoped Imogen would be around to spend some time with, but clearly not," she said, obviously annoyed at her sister. "I guess I'll go out for a walk and see if anyone's hanging out nearby."

Jacky smiled quietly as the family bantered on about Clementines past times, she could only give the older woman a knowing smile - it was far from her to comment on what she may, or may not, have been doing the night past. Particularly when herself and Will were known well enough to wandering in at first light, Will more than herself. She was bemused to see that Timmy did not have a companion in the morning, idly wondering if his perception was finally shifting from willful child to understanding adult. She'd known him, and the rest of the family a long time, but took a particular shining to the younger male Russell, she was about to make a comment as she listened to her love, her fiancee and the man of her dreams open his mouth and utter something so blasphemous it stopped her cold.

The sweet smile never left her lips as she turned to eye William. "Oh baby," She cooed quietly to him, reaching out to pat his hand gently. "Its not the feminists fault you simply can't keep up with us in a debate, it's the male egotistical society that has taught you to believe you're better, faster and smarter than us." She paused, reaching out to pat his cheek, not quite as gently as she had touched at his hand. "But it's okay darling, we still love you regardless of it. Just remember: It's a feminist the raised you, and it's a feminist that agreed to marry you, and a feminist that shares your bed." She gave his cheek a sweet pinch before leaning back in her chair. "I'd like my coffee with cream, no sugar." She gave him a playful wink. "Thanks honey."

Desmond looked himself over in the mirror, straightening his tie and smoothing the vest against his torso before nodding and making his way out of the door. He had been sure to call in and ensure that Oliver and the others hadn't need of his services at the moment. Leisure time -- what little he took -- was always a distant second concern for the man. He was glad to be able to assist Dorothy with her unwanted admirer the night before, though it was unfortunate that the woman had been harassed in the first place. Regardless, the situation had been resolved as amicably as possible all things considered and he sincerely doubted that particular would-be suitor would cause any additional issues now that he knew what family Dottie belonged to... and the lengths they would go to protect her.

Desmond clambered down the steps of his flat to the street, making his way casually toward the nearest intersection before flagging down a taxi. A short drive later, he was being dropped off at a cafe several blocks away. He tipped the driver and wished him a good day before approaching the outdoor tables of the establishment. He nearly did a double take upon seeing a familiar face at one of them, tucked away in a corner: Mags, sipping idly at a cup in front of her. He was surprised to see her here, donning a smile before walking over to her table and taking a seat across from her without a word. "Fancy meeting you here. Making the best of your day off?"

Hearing her daughter come to her aid, she smiled and nodded matter-of-factly. Hearing her tea pot whistle, she walked back over to it and turned off the stove. "Exactly what your sister said, so mind your business. The 'who' is not important simply because I won't be seeing him again." She said, all the while fixing her tea. She hadn't even bothered to ask anyone if they wanted any, since Jacky and Evie were drinking tea and her sons were annoying her. Taking a sip, she turned her attention to Jacky who spoke on feminists and nodded her head in agreement. "She's got the right idea. You'll never win the argument simply because you don't have enough ammunition to do so."

Timothy just snorted and shook his head, having given up. "You're right, mum." She nodded her head at him before taking her cup to start going upstairs. "I'm going to take a nap. Goodbye!" Just as she was leaving, Timothy shouted at her, "Next time you have a sleepover and need to sneak back in, use the side door!" This earned a vulgar response from Clem in which Timothy just laughed off. After growing bored of teasing his mother he responded to his sister by nodding his head at Will. "Well, big brother and I have something to talk about, I guess. What'd you want, anyway? You must've wanted something, calling me out."

Will looked to Jacky after his comment, knowing full well she would have a response to it. He knew all three of them would have something to say about his comment, it was partly why he did it, to bring them out of their shells. He looked down to Jacky's hand as she patted his and couldn't help but smirk as she made her comments about male egotists. He wasn't sure if he just wanted to hear the women in his life stand up for themselves or if he was simply a masochist, but he'd allowed his fiancee's following patronising to happen so knew he only had himself to blame. As she gave him a not so gentle pat on the cheek, he briefly bit his bottom lip. "And what fine feminists you both make," he said, blushing a little. When Jacky then instructed him to make her coffee, he chuckled. "See what I mean, Timmy? You'll never win this kind of battle." With that, he got up and made his future wife the drink she requested. He didn't allow many people to tell him what to do, but his fiancee and mother were on the small list.

"Enjoy you sleep, mum," Will simply told the older woman as she left the kitchen. He then handed Jacky her drink before sitting back at the table and patting Timmy on the back. "I noticed you came home alone last night," he observed, feeling grateful for that, at least. "Meanwhile, what have you got planned for today? Anything productive?" he asked. Not quite interrogating, but he was clearly asking for a reason.

Harvey had been out and about early that morning. Sunday being the day of rest had little meaning on his life as from past experience it had at times shown itself to be quite a productive time - catching people out when they least expect it. His instincts had told him the first stop on his list was Will's favourite, the Fox and Hound Pub. It had clearly been a late night as some old man was stumbling out of the building at 7am as the young employee cleaning up seemed pleased to be finally rid of him. Harvey had prolonged the employee's shift even further by entering the pub and having the most casual of conversations whilst taking a look around the place for any clues.

It was more than likely news of his visit would reach Will and that didn't bother him one bit. In fact, he wanted the man to know they were still onto him. The search of the basement level bar turned up little for Harvey, other than a single pack of playing cards left on one of the tables. Even Will wasn't sloppy, so a smirk crossed Harvey's face as he took this as a taunt from the man. He really did seem ignorant to what he was bringing upon himself.

Harvey left the pub even more suspicious as when he had entered it. If he'd shown up there a few hours earlier, he would have seen the basement in its glory and his gut instinct about the casino being in the pub would have been proven.

Harvey arrived at the cafe not long after Oliver and Allison had. He spotted them at their table but made his way to the counter first to order himself a strong coffee to their table. He then joined the siblings and took a seat with them, a slight smile remaining present on his face.

"Good morning," he greeted them, shaking Oliver's hand and turning to Allison to send her a smile accompanied with a wink. She was wearing a nice red number this morning and even if she hadn't put much effort into the look it certainly appealed to Harvey's senses. He looked back to his mentor, not forgetting the man's personal complaints the previous night but pushing them aside as everyone was entitled to such moments and Oliver perhaps had picked himself back up since. "How are you both today?" he asked them. As he did he placed three packs of playing cards in front of them on the table. Will had left one each at the pub, the butchers and the garage. The man was clearly trying to mock the Morgans and Harvey secretly knew he was going to enjoy playing this game. Or, he was going to have fun watching Will fall.

Mallory smiled when he daughter told her how she had punched the man “that’s my girl” she said proudly. While Mallory knew that a parent should not condone violence to their children, Mallory was not a normal parent and she knew they were not a normal family. Especially with her past she wanted her children to be able to defend themselves and to fight back when it was necessary.
Mallory rolled her eyes as Dottie acted offended and smirked in response “Darling, nothing slips by me, remember that” she laughed.

“We definitely need a holiday” she told her daughter with a faint smile “maybe we could all go somewhere together for a little break” she suggested, although she knew that it was not a realistic possibility.

“Ah I’m sure Imogen will be home soon” she told her as she looked at the clock. That was also wishful thinking, Mallory had no idea where Imogen was or what time she would be home, she just hoped that she was ok and safe.

Allison was pleased when the waitress returned to their table with a coffee but was even more pleased when she spotted Harvey walking their way. A small smirk played on her lips as she grabbed a sugar packet and opened it, pouring it into her black coffee, she grabbed her spoon off the table and mixed it slowly as Harvey greeted them. He seemed to have made some progress, given the little pep in his walk. Little things didn't get past Allison, especially when it came to behaviors. Her thoughts went to the night before when her brother had flat out gave her his approval to pursue Harvey as much more than what they were now. His wink made her cheeks warm slightly, causing her to look down at the table, blonde hair feathering over her features for a moment. Once composed, she looked back up, just in time for Harvey to inquiry on their day. "Morning Harvey, and just peachy for working on a Sunday." She chuckled, shooting her brother a playful glare before rolling her eyes. It wasn't like she had anything better to do. A blonde brow raised in question as Harvey set the multiple packs of cards on the table, another smirk played on her lips as she let out a sigh. "Ole Willie Nillie's taunting us?" She wondered out loud, intrigued at the possibilities of what could be going through William Russell's head...what was he planning? Allison wanted to pick his brain for information , information that they would refuse to tell her up front...it was something that was hidden in their face and body language.

"Honestly, I believe this man is completely off his rocker, clearly he thinks that this is some game to him...that he can honestly mess with us." It ruffled Allison's feathers to think that William could just blatantly disrespect her brothers like that. Taking a sip of her coffee, she looked to Ollie to get his thoughts on the new development.

Oliver gave his sister a warm smile as she approached the table, sipping his coffee laxly. Setting the cup down as she approached, he rose to hug his sister, then limped over to pull her chair. The limp wasn't far from his seat, so the cane hadn't been needed, but the medication was doing its wonderful work also. Hopefully it wasn't noticeable. Smiling as he returned to his seat, he set his hands in his lap. "As do you Alli, red always was your color you know? But yes i'm quite well actually!" A partial lie, but a harmless one at that. What his sister didn't know the better...

Just after his sister's beverage arrived, so did Harvey. Shaking his protege's hand as he to took his seat, he took a sip of his drink, studying his sisters behavior. It appeared she had taken his advice from the night before, seeing as she dressed up. And Harvey was playing right back. Watching with amusement as Harvey laid the cards, he chuckled, then scoffed. "I'll admit, he's got spunk. But spunk gets men like him killed..." Picking up one of the cards, he adjusted his glasses to get a better study. "No matter, I believe you'll handle the situation appropriately Harvey."

"Now Allison, you and I will be making a trip to our local laundry shop, we've had a decrease in funds. It will be simple business hopefully, but I know it wont be pretty..."
Handing Allison a small vile, the liquid inside a sapphire blue, the trio very well knew what it was. The antidote. Tapping his suit gently, he gestured that he to had his own vile if it came down to it.

Dottie grinned when her mother showed she was proud of her for punching the man, rather than berating her for it. She knew there were people employed to protect the family, but she also knew they couldn't be there all of the time, so why not at least try to stick up for herself? She grinned when he mother said nothing slipped by her. She wondered if that was true, considering she'd sneaked out on a few occasions recently to go to some parties but she obviously managed to make her way back in one piece. Unless that was because her family was watching her? Now Dottie felt a little paranoid!

"Holiday sounds wonderful!" Dottie agreed. "Tell dad to take a break once in a while. The others too. Although, I'm sure Imogen would only want to go on holiday with her cool celebrity friends," she scoffed. When there was mention her eldest sister would be home soon, Dottie didn't have much faith in it. "I doubt it. We see less of her than we did when she lived with her mum, like, years ago!" Dottie really hated that Imogen wasn't close to her anymore, after they'd bonded so well a few years ago.

When Allison posed the question out loud about Will taunting them, Harvey smirked and nodded his head with clear certainty. "That's he is, Allison. He left a pack each at the pub, butchers and garage. I'm still deciding which of those businesses he will miss the most," he remarked. That, and wondering whether an accident would be easier to engineer in the butchers or the garage. But perhaps that was for a little further down the line. Harvey was a fair man.. for a short while, at least. "Will has made it clear he wants to play," he said, taking a pack of cards in his hand and tapping it on the tabletop a few times. "And now it's my move."

Harvey nodded when Oliver noted this kind of behaviour is what gets people killed. If Will didn't back reign himself in, then that would be a strong possibility. At the least, people would get hurt because of his sudden courage. "I will handle it," he simply confirmed, the faint smile still not leaving his lips.

Harvey accepted his coffee from the waitress and tended to adding a little milk as he allowed Oliver and Allison to speak to each other about a trip they would be making. It was perfectly normal for him to sit back whilst the siblings discussed other subjects with each other.

Jacky smiled ruefully as William admitted defeat but she knew her husband to be was only playing dead - if he wanted to she knew the man could easily give her a run for her money when it came to an argument. More than once she'd witnessed the man sweet talk his way out of a sticky situation without even blinking an eye and she had little doubt he had done just the same the evening past with the Morgans. She smiled and raised her cup to her lips, taking a sip of her victory coffee. "Perfection, thank you baby." before issueing Will a playful wink. "Good night, Clem." She set her coffee down as Mother Russell departed, turning her attention to Timmy as Will questioned the younger Russell.

She glanced to Evelyn, a slow smile appearing on her lips. "So you need to tell me more about your splendid man, I didn't get to talk much with him last night, or you for that matter. How long have you two been a thing?" As much as she was involved with the Russell's lives she still worked full time at the theater and often found herself behind in family gossip. "Did you two have a good night out?"

Maggie looked up from her book as someone seated herself across from her at the table; it wasn't uncommon that some person, usually a man, decided to invite themselves into her company. She had become a fine artist at turning them away but she quickly smiled seeing Desmond across from her. He was far from unwelcome in her morning routine; as much as she loved the peaceful quiet of the morning she enjoyed his company far more. "I make the best of every day." She corrected playfully, setting her book aside and the coffee down. "I wouldn't have thought you'd be up this early, Des. I figured you'd be out late last night taking care of your charge."

She smiled as the waitress arrived and set her ordered breakfast down before her. "Could you bring my friend a menu?" She asked, much to the waitresses surprise but the woman nodded and headed off. Mags certainly didn't miss the fact that she had expected Des to be parting ways quickly.

After finishing his muffin, he moved on to a vine of grapes in the refrigerator. Nodding his head side to side, and faced William with a shrug. "Don't know yet. Haven't heard about anything happening just yet." He gave him a suspicious look, eyeing him up and down. "Why do you ask?" Normally he would never ask what he was up to and the fact that he was doing it now made it all the more suspicious. He could overhear some of the conversation between the two girls and wanted to badly to jump in. He tried to keep to himself, but it was just against his nature. Hearing Jacqueline ask questions about Evelyn and her boyfriend, he pointed. "Far too long for you not to bring him around the family." He pinched her cheeks and again moved before he could be hit. He was truly on a roll this morning. How he was able to do this with having been drunk and high the night before, we wouldn't know.
