Empire Name: The Sigmaterian Residual Collectors Initiative (SRCI)


Goal(s): To give every impure species the opportunity to transcend to a greater, more perfect Sigmaterian form and work for a greater good: harvesting the Universe of all residual essence.


Leader(s): Emperor Zarketrious Miz, an unknown, hidden figure even from his own people that have never seen his true form. A portion of all collected Sigmaterian Residual Essence is claimed to go to the Emperor. Common belief is that Zarketrious holds the most perfect form of all Sigmaterians which has granted him unbelievable power. Just to be in his presence is claimed to activate the corruption madness. The imperfect claim to hear his voice in their heads and even see visions of him. Rumor has it that a shadowy figure can sometimes be seen overlooking the battlefield.

The Sigmaterian species claims that it is an all powerful source of energy that breathes life into their society. It can only, however, be harvested from other living or recently deceased creatures. Exposure to SRE by non-Sigmaterians activates the corruption madness inside them. While given Xecronic powers these individuals will also be prone to visions and voices in their heads. If they continue to use their Xecronic powers without collecting more SRE the user will continue to deteriorate until transforming into a Sigmaterian Impure. If the user collects more SRE their form will progress until becoming a powerful Sigmaterian Pure.


History: Spreading like that of an infection, each new planet conquered provides legions of new Sigmaterian Impures alongside hand fulls of Sigmaterian Imperfects to continue fueling the Sigmaterian war machine. No life is sacred as the inhabitants of each planet are harvested indiscriminately for SRE. This iteration of the empire seeks out no diplomatic relations with any other nation other than to infect them.

Formed whenever Sigmaterian Residual Essence is extracted from a living creature, the lifeless husk of a body will begin to contort and form into this deadly, imperfect creature. Otherwise, if a Sigmaterian Imperfect overuses their Xecronic powers without collecting more SRE they will deteriorate into a Impure. On the flip side if an Impure is capable of surviving long enough to collect enough SRE their body will progress to the point they return to an Imperfect form.


The Sigmaterian Impure is a thoughtless creature with no self-preservation intentions or will other than to hunt down and harvest other non-Sigmaterian living creatures. Extremely scaly skin serves as the primary defense for the creature while the spikes it owns for legs impale its victims and harvest SRE from them. Notably the creature is capable of cutting through metal and running up walls with ease given its legs.


On rare occasion the Impure will show signs of a hive mind, in which they precisely work together to take down threats in the most effective way. Normally a shadowy figure can be seen watching from afar as this anomaly occurs.

Attributes/Description:
Another non-sentient creature at the Sigmaterian’s disposal, the Sigmaterian collectors sole purpose is to harvest Sigmaterian Residual Essence not for itself but rather for the Sigmaterian Pure. Capable of flight, hovering, and even going invisible this creature stalks its prey before harvesting the living creature. Its tendrils are as razor sharp as those of the Sigmaterian Impure.


It’s worth noting that if a Collector that has stored SRE is killed its contents will be dispersed in a small radius across the battlefield. Thus activating the corruption madness inside all those inside the cloud and giving them Xecronic powers.

Most notably these individuals have Xecronic powers which require SRE. If these powers are overused without suitable energy being restored the individual will deteriorate into an Impure. However, if enough SRE is collected the individual can reach the point of being considered a Sigmaterian Pure.


They’re rarely seen on the battlefield unless immensely desperate to obtain more SRE due to having deteriorated too much.

Appearance: Once an individual collects enough SRE to reach this level their body has taken the most perfect Sigmaterian form, devoid of any imperfections or blemishes. Their hair and eye color most generally turn orange, although other vibrant colors are not uncommon. Their body tends to radiate a glow of energy due to the immense quantity of SRE the individual has obtained.


Attributes/Description: Regarded with the highest tier of respect and honor in the Sigmaterian caste system as they have reached the ‘purest’ Sigmaterian form. Members are generally capable of excessively using Xecronic powers with ease without worry of reverting back to Imperfect status. Not to mention the strongest among them, Emperor Zarketrious, is rumored to have unimaginable powers.

For three millennia the Mrack's have ruled Krasus and commanded the nation with an iron fist. Ellegand is no different, seeking knowledge as his ancestors had always done, Ellegand is not loved by his people, he is worshiped by them, as a god.

The Krasus Prime is not only an anomaly but also an impossibility, it's a star that gives off heat like any star, but it also gives out energy in a rawer form, its this energy that the people of Krasus, the Impraetii, use to power everything from the capital ships to their communication devices. The Krasus Prime is the star at the Heart of the Krasus star system. The Krasus learned long ago how to store its energy, transporting it over a form of FTL EM-Wave that allows them to beam energy to anywhere that has a receiver set up. As long as the star is uncovered and existing the Krasus should have power, unless you block their FTL EMWaves somehow, even they do not know a way to stop it.


History: The Krasus simply exist. For as long as their memories show, their researchers can find and their tales tell, Krasus has simply been. After the death of Ellegand's grandmother, the Impraetii were shaken by civil war, the first and last to ever strike the Impraetii. The two children fought for command, with Ellegand the Respected defeating is older sister Ellegar the Tyrannical and stopping her from destroying the ageless Empire from within. Since the Great Civil War the Impraetii have been keeping to themselves, hoping that reduced contact would mean reduced war. That was until the current Maeris took up the throne, seeking a new idea, new allies would mean new knowledge and to the Impraetii and all on Krasus, Knowledge was literally everything, goods and services would be bought at sold with information and knowledge, meaning the more you sold, the more you knew and so the more you could buy.

    The Impraetii are effectively the ruling class of Krasus and can channel the energy of the Krasus Prime through themselves and then use it (kinda like magic but more of a kinetic usage like floating and as aggressive balls of energy) at their convenience, because of this most, if not all Impraetii choose to simply float to their destination and use this energy for tasks like opening non-automatic doors or lifting things.

    The Kraetians are a warlike bunch and are largely left to their own devices by the Impraetii, not that the Kraetians have and 'devices'. The Kraetians run off of a system of Clans, who have their own leaders and all of the Kraetians have a leader called the Kratus, who acts as more of a papal sort of figure, leading the Kraetians in all but matters of war where clans are allowed to freely fight each other of land, gold, glory or whatever insult annoyed them enough after their last war. The Impraetii only request the Kraetians supply them with the full extent of their military should the Krasus fall into war with another space faring empire. The Kraetians are rewarded for their loyalty to the Impraetii by having no other laws set upon them by the Impraetii and as such some Ktraetian Clans see fit to choose the Impraetii as their deity, with the Krasus Prime being a close second as far as gods go.

Empire Name: The Interplanetary Federation of Holon (The IFH or just Holon for short)


Goal(s): To survive, promote peace, utilitarianism, grow, and prosper.


Allies: The Cosmic Empire of Xeres and all who would not oppose them.


Enemies: The Interstellar Unification Under Orion


Leader(s): Maxwell Teller. Originally a simple soldier, he rapidly went through the ranks and gained kingship through voting of the people. He is benevolent and kind, and wishes peace for all peoples. His only enemies are those are those who would attack him or who are generally regarded as psychopathic in their war-like tendencies (i.e. highly militant states.)(Some irony in this, as the nation itself is highly militant.)

This energy source was the primary reason for settling on Holon. This energy, while easily usable for such things as electronics and the like, is more famously used for military weaponry. Despite being a peaceful nation, Holon has an INCREDIBLY powerful military all thanks to this baby. This allows for munitions stronger than plasma and small amounts of it can power starships. It is the cause of many technological advances during the nations growth.


History: The planet of XRC-721-AC was originally a mining colony set up by the nation of Xeres. The planet was mostly barren excepting one thing: a strange energy source the empire thought would make it immensely powerful. Soon, however, the opposing nation of Orion came in and wiped out the Xerian forces surrounding the planet. They ignored the planet, however, as they thought it was of no use. Isolated from friendly territory, the inhabitants of this planet began to panic until one man, Maxwell Teller, stepped up and brought order. They renamed the planet "Holon," and made Max their first king. He did not disappoint, as he brought prosperity to the planet. Eventually, using the newly dubbed Holonite, they were able to make powerful starships that completely obliterated the Orion forces and they were reunited with Xeres. By this time though, national pride had set in and many felt they were abandoned by Xeres. The Holonites spread out and took some of the once-Orion planets and founded their federation. Xeres and Holon are on good political terms despite this, though many Xerians still see Holon as simply a territory of Xeres.


National Advantages: Strong (VERY strong) military tech, very well trained and experienced soldiers, and strong diplomacy (gunboat as it may or may not be.)


National Disadvantages: Due to the barrenness of Holon, the nation is facing an upcoming food crises. It hasn't hit them yet, but it's coming fast.


Other: Holon has faced a sort of... parasite problem before. An ancient species of parasites laid hidden on Holon and was awoken by their arrival. These creatures would infect the host and reproduce through them. Slowly they became more and more intelligent until they gained somewhat supernatural powers. Much of Holon's population was destroyed by this crisis, but they eventually eradicated them and are all the stronger for it. They're ready for any infection that may come, be it disease or... other.

Maxwell is very kind hearted. He wants the best for everyone, and is willing to make sacrifices to satisfy a third party. He is very ambitious and a bit of a dreamer. Sometimes that doesn't exactly help. Despite his kind hearted nature, he holds the safety of his people above all else. They are family to him, and he will die to protect them. You threaten any of his people, and he will nuke the hell out of you.

    Goal:
    Cataloging and preserving all intelligent life in the Galaxy.


    Allies: Any who cooperate with the Curators


    Enemies: Any who oppose the Curators


    Leaders: The Ardent Atheneum has no one "leader". Instead, they are mastered by the Curators who overlook and maintain all archives and preserves. The Curators are mechanical servants that man all Ardent Atheneum ships and a Catalogers, built by an unknown race, the Curators seem to have had a memory wipe in order to prevent even them from knowing their creators. Many Curators believe they are somewhere in the Archives, or perhaps even preserved but it would be impossible to tell.

    The Conservator is a presence that exists on all Ardent Atheneum ships especially Catalogers. The presence in a sense is a 'god', an omnipotent, infallible, unyielding force that powers and guides the Curators through indirect means. The Machines themselves are unable to see the Conservator, only feel it's presence and interpret it's means. Those who have stepped foot on Catalogers or Libraries themselves have claimed to have witnessed the Conservator and heard his voice directly. The intentions of the Conservator are unknown, it can only be explained that there is a realm of existence so far beyond your comprehension that you cannot even imagine it. The Conservator is beyond comprehension and continues to serve as a silent guide for the Curators.


    History: The History of the Curators and the Ardent Atheneum is entirely unknown, the memory wipe done on the Curator's themselves prevents any sort of knowledge of their creators or their history knowable. Though they have cataloged countless species, it is impossible to tell which created the Curators, though a search through the Libraries shows that at least 74 species have created machines Similar to the Curators, none of them match up exactly- a detail that may have been corrupted on purpose to keep the history of the Ardent Atheneum an enigma.

The Saeren Confederacy

Ostensibly the leader of the Confederacy is its founder, a being known as Aerath, however Aerath is rarely encountered anymore. As a result each mothership appoints an Overseer which is part of a rather expansive council.


Species:



The only species with any sort of political representation is the Syhelians, the founders of the Confederacy. Originally a carbon based solid life form from the far reaches of the Universe, they have since become something wildly different. As of now they exist in a gaseous form that consists of organic matter, Arvokite in it's gaseous state, and nanites. This form is generally contained in small canisters that are stored throughout the motherships.


The other species of the Confederacy is collectively referred to as the Asren. They come from nearly every race that the Confederacy has encountered, and for whatever reason have volunteered their eternal service to the Confederacy in exchange for the incalculable power they gain from their transformation. After volunteering they are subjected to a brutal process in which much of their original body is replaced or altered. The end result is a being whose soul is linked to an Arvokite shard safely stowed on the mothership, with their physical body still taking the same form of the original, though cybernetically,and genetically enhanced with Arvokite flowing through their veins. Their quintessential vital organ, their 'heart' whatever that may be, is generally replaced with an Arvokite shard that serves as the link between their body and their consciousness that is on the mothership.


The Asren generally serve as an elite military force for the Syhelians, operating autonomously in groups of two or three and capable of requisitioning customized fabrications from foundries aboard their motherships.


Energy Source:



The Confederacy uses a resource known as Arvokite, which can be found in a solid crystalline form, a liquid form, and a gaseous form. In addition to energy, the Confederacy uses it for a variety of other tasks.


While liquid Arvokite generates energy through a fusion process that even in relatively small amounts can power massive ships, the matrices found in its solid crystalline structure are particularly conducive to what the Syhelians refer to as 'Soul Trapping'. That of suspending consciousness inside Arvokite in a process similar to uploading a mind to an artificial framework resembling an AI. However once uploaded, the Arvokite can be as far from it's host body or structure as needed thanks to it's third property.


Arvokite is for whatever reason, capable of forming bonds with other concentrations of Arvokite and maintain that bond through micro-quantum tunneling. Confederation scientists have managed to replicate this process on a larger level to enable faster than light travel.


History:


The history of the Saeren Confederacy is rather straightforward. At one point millennia in the past, the Syhelians existed rather peacefully as organic solid beings on a distant world uncharted at the edge of the Universe. Almost as soon as they discovered interstellar travel, they were set upon by a terrible entity that is known only as a raw sense of terror in their collective psyche. Forced on the run, the Syhelians have been migrating ever since, fleeing from an unseen and unknown enemy that may exist only for them.


Yet with just fledgling interstellar technology it is unlikely the Syhelians would've gotten far. It is at this time that Aerath came among them, giving them just enough to survive, and helping form the chaotic mass of fleeing vessels into an organized government known as the Saeren Confederacy. Appearance: Darren takes the outward appearance of a human male in his early thirties with short curly black hair, brown eyes, and a slightly tanned complexion. He has a gaunt face and is remarkably wiry. His clothing and armor generally changes to fit the situation. And of course, inwardly nothing resembles human anatomy, a tangled mass of cybernetic implants, decidedly inhuman organic bits, and the dull blue of liquid Arvokite and its crystalline counterpart that replaces his heart.

Darren is the most recently inducted member of the Asren. Once human, just days before the Sigma arrived on Earth he seized the opportunity to become a part of something larger than himself and make a difference in the Universe with his power.

Appearance: Saelethil has the outward appearance of a Ro'Shani, a vaguely humanoid reptillian creature that prefers to move about on all fours.

A powerful psion, his powers have only been amplified by the Asren transformation process. Saelethil has served faithfully for nearly five centuries, or a single cycle in Syhelian terms. A cycle for an Asren can only live for five hundred years before their Arvokite crystal begins to degenerate and they go insane before finally dying. Instead, an Asren near the end has their crystal added to the collective mass of the motherships Arvokite core, their experiences becoming one with hundreds of thousands of others. Before he 'dies', Saelethil is teaching Darren the ways of the Asren and their duties.

Leader(s): The N.S.F are a collection of multiple galaxies all colonized by one sentient race. The Terrans. The Chancellor is the leader of the N.S.F and the current chancellor is Aruon Valikus. This is the N.F's definition of Dark energy as it is found through out the universe. The N.F had been attempting to find a more cost efficient but highly effective new energy source which would allow the federation to invest less in producing energy cells for their ships. Through intense innovation, the N.F became the first to find a way to harvest the Dark energy in the universe into their new reactors for their navy.


Colonies: A number of galaxies


History: Spanning 14 million years, the N.S.F were very advanced beings with a thirst for innovation. But this eventually led to countless inter-race conflicts among-st terrans. Eventually 13 million years ago, the Terrans discovered FTL and began to colonize several worlds. It was not until 1,000 years later until all the worlds were terra-formed. The governments back on their home world quickly fell into political turmoil and feuds as the armies on Novin entered a brutal war between each there once more. As the countries were busy fighting, the colonies one by one started to rebel as they tried to become independent. Many technological gains were lost in this 100 year long brutal, intergalactic civil war. The war came to an abrupt halt when a man tired of his species's senseless killing decided to band as many men, women he could to his cause. To unite the Terrans under one banner once more and to restore the glory and pride of the Terran civilization. From the outer world of Sentauri, the Terran Liberation, waged war upon every world, re-uniting every colony under one government. Eventually, they reached Novin, the home world of the terrans. After multiple attempts at peace, many nations on Novin refused. Those that did not, allowed the Liberation forces to land within their territories and assisted in the bloody campaign to re-take Novin. The siege of Novin lasted for 3 years. Now united once more, the man allowed all nations on Novin to retain some authority but, began to re-organize the Terran race and created the Novin Federation. From which he became the first chancellor. Under his reign, he ensured more technological innovation as well as an aggressive expansion and re-armament of the Terran race. Fighting many wars between other species against disputed worlds. This was known as the age of aggression and silence which took place in the last 13 million years, lasting 40,000 years. As the N.S.F armed to the teeth, saw that it was in need of new living space. This started the Expansion wars. Which were a series of invasions on neighboring galaxies along with other galaxies to provide it's people with more room to populate, at the expense of other species. During the wars, many empires were driven to extinction while those still primitive were left alone. This large expansion and unimaginable resources being diverted to the armed forces caused the NSF to become a military super power of the universe with technology and a military force that can outmatch other races due to their incredible technological prowess and superiority against other races by millions of years.


Now the N.S.F is a quiet federation. A sleeping giant. It's days of aggression have long past them as they seek a path of isolation/peace. Just 90 years ago, the terrans became the first race to harness the power of dark matter and energy and 5 years ago, a program was created to modernize the military as a huge military construction project took place. Now, all ships have been replaced including vehicles and weaponry as the new navy ship are equipped with the most modern dark matter collidor reactors which provides much faster interstellar travel and much more maneuverability to date.


The NSF is more peaceful now than long ago but, it is still a very aggressive federation and being a vastly superior military super power, the NSF can squish any form of enemy resistance or attck with ease if they are provoked or find the empire annoying. For now, the NSF is a sleeping giant. Reluctant to assist in battles as they see no need to waste Terran lives for some other species.


Unification wars: The unification wars happened millions and millions of years ago before the NSF was created. It was only several thousand years after the Terrans had found FTL and established multiple colonies when an age of strife started initially by the countries on Novin which quickly spread to brutal secession wars and separatist movements.


The wars lasted for a century. 100 years of endless strife among-st the terrans. Eventually, on the backwater world of Sentauri, the entire planet was unified under one single faction. The Terran Liberation Movement. The goal of this faction was to bring an end to all the wars and reunite the terrans under one single federal government.


The remote planet was the first to be liberated and soon started to build up it's military and made preparations for the long years of unification. The Liberation went from system to system, liberating every terran world it found. While those that refused, had their entire planet glassed.


By the end of the Unification wars, the entire terran race was once more united. Only this time, they were ruled under one single federal government. Located in the heart of terran civilization on their planet of birth, Novin.


Expansion wars: After the unification which happened 13 million years ago, and in a post-unified Terran society 500 years since the end of the war, the NSF senate, the supreme council and chancellor saw that there was a mass population crisis. The war's end had brought much innovation which led to mass population increases through out the galaxy. Not wanting to waste resources on stations and artificial planets, the chancellor insisted that the technology for intergalactic travel be created. It took several years until finally they had developed the technology to travel from galaxy to galaxy. With this new power, the Chancellor started to fund the military and pressured the government to begin a rapid armament program to build thousands and thousands of ships, arms billions of terrans in preparation for intergalactic conquest.


The whole point of the war was to colonize and integrate more galaxies into NSF control and create more living space for terrans. Through out the war though, many species of aliens were wiped out by the NSFs unrelenting and aggressive military campaigns while some barely survived and were allowed to assimilate into the NSF.


The expansion stopped after several decades of endless conflict. The NSF suffered many defeats form their thinly stretched supply lines but ultimately colonized a number of galaxies. Finally satisfied with their accomplishments, the NSF decided that it will seize all military aggression for a period of time.


The expansion was re-ignited several decades earlier when the chancellor at that time saw the need for more resources. Although this time around, the NSF is making slow gains intentionally as to not start an arms race like they did many millions of years ago.


Contact with Earth: During the time of ancient earth, when ancient Egypt, Rome, ancient India, ancient China, etc... existed on earth, the NSF made multiple trips to the planet. The Chancellor during that time had grown an attachment with the human beings as they looked identical to terrans. The trips were very dangerous as the milky way was very far from the NSF's territorial borders. But during the few thousand years when the terrans made multiple trips, they helped give some knowledge to the humans of earth like other alien species had done. During those times, the NSF had a relay station orbiting the system to ensure their spot in influencing the human population on earth, among-st other aliens that were present. In the records and historical files, it is said that the NSF engaged in surface an Ariel combat with other alien species on multiple occasions over disputed earth. There is even a record of a system wide war that took place for a few years in which the NSF had mobilized multiple task forces as they fought from the edges of pluto, to massive ship to ship combat with other aliens over the skies of venus and earth.


Eventually, the NSF pulled the plug on earth after millennium of watching the human race grow and even giving knowledge to the humans. The NSF along with many other species had promised the humans that they would return one day. But this was simply a lie, the chancellor vowed that one day when earth is capable of space flight that the NSF will return. The NSF began a complete withdrawal from earth, and ever since then, never ventured back to the milky way. This part of history is now locked up in the large databases of the NSF.


Advantages:
Incredibly powerful military force and technologically unmatched by any other civilization. A military super power as their tevhonological capabiloties far surpasses by millions of years. Able to amass trillions of soldiers and equipment within days if needed.


Disadvantages:
Their territory is vast but also, 45% of the N.S.F's economy is devoted to the armed forces meaning that at times other more important issues are not given priority such as hunger and poverty leaving some to wonder if the government even has their priorities straight. Because of this, the support for the N.S.F seems to be dropping little by little.

They are just like normal human beings but, Novin has a lower concentration of oxygen forcing the respiratory system of the Terrans to adapt to intake both less and a lot of oxygen depending. This allows the Novins to stay under water longer than normal. Terrans are very agile but also very strong even though they might not seem like it as they can lift objects three times their weight but also are immune to almost all viral diseases as their cellular make up has adapted over the millions of years of medicine for terran's cells to mutate. They are very durable and intelligent beings as well.


Morality: Passively aggressive. They are not a federation who will attack first but, still has the desire to colonize more worlds and are still aggressive in some ways. At the same time, the only time they would strike first if the military can say without a doubt that an alien faction poses an immediate threat. Their political climate is one that is currently very complicated.


But they can also be very aggressive at times even though they might give the impression that they are very calm.

Attribution/Description: There is a great emphasis on balance between defense and offensive armaments as the Larger vessels are armed to the teeth, and designed for heavy combat both long and close range as well as able to soak up as many hits as possible being able to withstand even incredibly powerful energy and power, the more smaller class of vessels were designed for rapid maneuvering combat to out-maneuver enemies with the new light boosters equipped on all ships to ensure dynamic maneuverability and handling as well as fast speeds to out-maneuver enemies. The new Dark energy reactors are capable out running and flanking enemy ships with ease even for the larger ships. But also, each ship has shields equipped and the main M.A.G cannon can take out a ship with a single hit. Only problem is that they do have a long re-charge time but also, the more powerful M.A.Gs are found on the larger ships whereas on the smaller vessels, the M.A.Gs are only capable of severely damaging the enemy vessels. The ships are all equipped with jamming, cloaking and stealth technology and are known as some of the fastest ships ever built in the universe able to outrun nearly anything it comes against.


The Mass accelerator cannons are able to take out any shielding no matter how powerful with a single blast. Only problem is that the ones found on a super planet sized vessel is guaranteed 100% to take out any ship with a single blast no matter how powerful the enemy's shield or armour is. Essentially, Mass Accelerators found on large ships can take out any ship with or without shields with a single hit whereas smaller vessels's can only take out ships smaller or fighters and ground units. And Medium sized ships can heavily damage enemy ships smaller and damage ships of the same class.


There are still many weapons that are top secret and are currently kept a closely guarded secret due to their Incredible, and immeasurable power.


Military: For ground warfare, the military of the N.S.F believes that mobility is everything. Which is why every vehicle within the N.S.F military is capable out driving quickly with easy maneuverability to out-run the enemy and to quickly give support for friendly units. Armed with powerful guns and armour that is light but is incredibly durable and heavy and is capable of taking a beating, the soldiers are able to rely on the military vehicles with their lives. The military also puts great emphasis on firepower as they want the enemy to feel the pain of the first shots which is why all of the infantry weapons are also made to be high powered. When tested on un-protected tissue it would leave gaping holes on the enemy.


Mass Quantum Acceleration Energy: Used on every weapon, The Mass accelerators are extremely powerful pieces of weapons that are found on large vehicles, the Colossus, a land battleship, on orbital defense stations and on every single class of navy vessel. The larger Mass Accelerators can destroy any ship of any class, armour, and shielding with a single hit. But these are only found on large vessels with the space to fit the more powerful guns an on larger orbital defense stations.


The M.A.Q energy is fired at light speed making it virtually impossible to dodge and guaranteed 100% to destroy the enemy vessel. The draw back is that they do have a long recharge/cool-down time as a single mass acceleration energy has the power of a red giant star and its supernova which is being contained and crushed into a tiny firing system.


On the ground, the Mass accelerators on guns are a much weaker version. Those found on a pistol are strong enough to punch a gaping hole on enemy's face even if it is protected by heavy armour. Machine guns are able to rip enemies to pieces and shred through even heavy armour and overload very strong shielding and so can other weapons larger than a handgun, pulse rifle and SMG. These guns can be used to even tear through heavily armoured vehicles, tanks, and gunships as well as their M.A.Q energy is more powerful and are capable of ripping through much thicker armour and shielding with ease.


The mass accelerator energy found on the more heavier guns on land vehicles have the power output and devastation are equivalent to 5 tsar bombas being exploded. While guns are capable of cutting down even the most heavily armoured infantry into pieces with ease, as well as fast moving target as the mass accelerator energies move at speeds exceeding mach 25, meaning it can travel 35000-45000 Km/H or 20000-30000 Miles/H which are incredibly fast and impossible to dodge.


Tanks are capable to apprehending any enemy vehicle with the moderately powerful mass acceleration guns. But it can only destroy vehicles of the same size or slightly larger with any armour or shield class. The M.A.Gs found on ground vehicles are more powerful than gns and are capable of incinerating a heavily armoured and shielded infantry armed with incredible armour and shielding as the projectiles are slightly faster than guns, as well as being more devastating, one tank is capable of devastating multiple heavy tank units with a couple hits at full power. A Mass accelerator found on a Colossus Land Battleship are ones capable of destroying anything up to a Frigate-class vessel. But can still cripple a destroyer and damage heavy destroyers and attack cruisers if needed. Other armoured vehicles have slightly more powerful Mass Accelerators capable of destroying other armoured vehicles and ripping apart mass amounts of enemy hardware and vehicle.


Flaks are specifically designed to overload enemy aircraft's shields with a few hits of unimaginable energy then power down to rapid fire to take the fighter out.


Mass Quantum Acceleration Energy output: M.A.Qs have energy equal to that of a slightly above average star. The impossible amount of raw power, energy, thermal gamma radiation and heat is condensed so that the ship equipped with a M.A.Q Cannon can fire an extremely dense and concentrated amount of unrivaled extreme amounts of incredibly powerful energy that can overload any type or class of shield, armour,power, and size of any vessel an enemy might have. No matter how powerful an enemy factions shields and armour might be, the M.A.Q energy is guaranteed 100% to hit it's mark and destroy the enemy vessel regardless of even the most powerful shields, most powerful armour and the most powerful strength, and power of other enemy vessels as the M.A.G energy is holds un-imaginable power of destruction and will brush them all aside and destroy the enemy vessels regardless of size, shield & armour power, and strength with a single hit.


The only drawback to this is that the most powerful specifications of these guns are large and are found on the Novin-Class Colossus Heavy Multi-role Battle Fortress which is equipped with 14 of these impressive main guns. The same, most powerful specifications are also equipped on the Shasen-Class Lunar-Class Super Heavy Battle Fortress , the Escorn-Class Battle fortress, the Surex-Class Heavy Dreadnought, the Andersn-class heavy multi-role combat vessel, Hercules-class mobile fortress, Maria-class System combat & assault vessel, the Andes-class Heavy super dreadnought, the Alamo-class heavy battle fortress, and the Helix-class capital ship. The most powerful configuration of the M.A.Qs are found on those classes of large vessels. Only draw back is that they fire once and it takes a while for a recharge. Meaning that they must use the other specifications of M.A.Qs and Ion turbo acceleration guns until recharge is complete. But, being equipped with multiple of these guns of unimaginable power, the captains have to choice of firing all of them at once or individually. The reason why is because a single MA.Q energy has the power of a red giant star going into supernova. But lasers and particle weapons of incredible power can damage the weaker Q.B shielding on smaller ships. The shields are ineffective against Incredibly powerful gamma weapons. The larger ships are able to withstand particle and laser projectiles of extreme and incredible power and energy and much more than the normal Q.B shields. But the much larger vessels can also withstand huge amounts of gamma rays and other damaging UV ray weapons for the most part. The Quantum barriers are able to withstand extremely incredible amounts of heat and immense amounts of concentrated and high powered or scattered energy and fire power. As the ship gets progressively larger, the Quantum barrier becomes more powerful and durable able to handle more punishment. And the largest of the ship has 10 layers of Quantum shielding while a destroyer would have only 2 layers.


Any projectiles whether it be an enemy soldier, or projectile will get stuck in the shield's fields being stopped in their tracks and ricocheted off of the shield away from the vessel. For larger ships, concentrated energy can also ricochet off the Q.B shields.


The smaller ships use an additional system called the Cryogenic Shield. Which is a continuously vibrating field over the layer of Q.B. Instead of halting projectiles, they slap them aside. Shooting at a C.S is like shooting a target inside of a spinning ball. But, if damaged, the reactor would seriously endanger the vessel ad it's crew. The only draw back is that it is only used for cruisers, destroyers, frigates, escorts, fighters and smaller vessels. And is very good for protecting the ship during an opening salvo of projectiles.

Armour:


Diarmates armour can resist even the tremendous heat and kinetic energy of starship weapons of nearly any size or power. The armor is nearly unsurpassed in strength because of its central material, carbon nanotube sheets woven with Diarmates(Most powerful material found by the terran race.), Diarmates Chemical Vapor Deposition(DCVD), are crushed by dark energy fields into super-dense layers able to withstand Incredibly extreme amounts of energy and temperatures, either concentrated, scattered or firepower and high speed projectiles and . That process also compensates for the diarmates's brittleness. The armour does not have a life span and only needs to be maintained(cleaned) every 1000 thousand years.


Cutting open Diarmates armour near impossible to accomplish as it requires unimaginable amounts of extreme energy and power.


Diarmates's armour itself has two limiting disadvantages. First, while nanotubes and diarmates construction have become cheaper in recent years, it still costs a large sum of credits to completely restructure and replace the armour for starships. because of this, the larger ships were given top priority over hte smaller vessels but much of the navy has now converted. Second, the armour must be attached to the ship's superstructure and inner-structure, so shock waves from immensely massive firepower can still damage the metals between the armour.

The Candesians are an elven race that exists on the world of Candesia(they are considered to resemble humans more among the Guins).Due to their primitive technology,the Candesians,alongside with the Tian Ren(which will be explained later) were defeated easily by the stronger and much more advanced Guin military.The Candesians are not prized for their military uses because they are weaker compared to other races(yes,their males are weak,too).In fact,both Candesians and the Tian Ren have charming qualities that make them the most beautiful races within the Guin Empire.Their females usually become the wives of high-ranking Guin officials.Their males are specifically used for breeding and government jobs(clerks etc.)The Candesian language resembled French,while their culture and architecture respectively resembled English and Roman.

Although they live in the same planet,the Tian Ren was an entirely different species from the Candesians(the Tian Ren resemble humans more).The Tian Ren language,cultures and architecture resembled the chinese,unlike the Candesians.The Tian Ren is known to have psionic abilities.With some training,they are able to master it.The Empire primarily uses them as battlemages.Their females are also often wives of high-ranking Guin officials.Unfortunately,even though their beauty was high prized within the Guin community,both Candesians and Tian Ren are discriminated by the Guin society for speaking different languages and have different cultures despite the fact that they come from the same planet.

The Guin Empire mainly relies on swarmbots and space artillery in air combat.Their soldiers are equipped with antimatter propulsion guns,which shoots out bolts of energy which disintegrate their enemies.In land combat,the Empire often relies on spider tanks(legged tanks) rather than infantry.The Guin Empire also tends to use bioweapons and grey goo when meeting heavy resistance.The Empire is currently researching biotanks and biospaceships to decrease their reliance on mineable resources.

It darkens the minds of all those who come into contact with it, and since the Delthari live in it, they are obviously highly under its effect. However, it is an amazingly efficient source of energy, and can be applied to almost anything. The Delthari are so exposed to it, that Shadowform is now ingrained into their physiologies, and changed them radically from what they once were

History: The Delthari have been around in the universe for a great period of time, keeping intergalactic law. Back then they were called the Mathilo, widely known as keepers of the peace. Then they delved into lines of technology that they shouldn't have, and reached the Shadow Realm. Here they found Shadowform, one of the greatest energy sources of the age. However, they were selfish, and kept the source for themselves. As it turns out, this was for the better. Had Shadowform spread across the galaxy, there would have been little to be done to stop it. As the energy consumed them, they retreated deep into the Shadow Realm, not to be seen again for many years.


A century ago, however, they returned. Now they are nothing like what they were. Only scholars know that these new creatures were once the Mathilo, fewer still know that they still are. The strong sense of justice in the Mathilo has provided something of a bastion, preventing them from falling fully under the sway of Shadowform.


Species: Lesser Delthari


Appearance: Variable, but generally about the size of a Terran and wreathed in a magical energy, different incarnations of Shadowform. Usually either shadow or flame, but there are definitely exceptions, such as those wielding ice. However, sometimes a particularly powerful Delthari will be born of both. The more powerful Lesser Delthari are wielders of more than one form of Shadowform.


Attributes/Description: Natural killing machines, their strength is that of twenty Terrans, and they are without mercy. In addition, the Lesser Delthari are in possession of the ability to utilise the Shadowform inherent in them, channeling it in the use of their power, shadow, fire, or both. However, these demons understand little of subtlety or intrigue, as that is for the more powerful and higher up Delthari to decide.


There are also the Delthari and the Greater Delthari. These types are more powerful, as well as often being larger. One of the largest, and the most powerful of all, is Balori. Also, the Delthari and Greater Delthari are both far more intelligent than the Lesser Delthari.


The ships of the Delthari are very technologically advanced, and their original forms are visible underneath the twisted visage and corruption of Shadowform. There are large carriers, tiny frigates, and even three planet-sized flagships. These are all highly focused on armour and staying power rather than anything else. Their weapons are destructive, no mistake, but even the smallest of their ships can hold up to more firepower than anything of that size should. This is partially the force of Shadowform holding the ship together, and partially all the shielding, armour, and other defensive mechanisms on all ships. However, despite their amazing individual power, there are few ships in the actual fleet, and the shipyards are only slowly coming back to life.


In terms of the military, the Delthari thrive in close-quarters, where they can bring their strength to bear, as well as their Shadowform abilities. They still possess technological weapons, though, and they can certainly put up a fight at the longer ranges. However, all their focus is on getting closer to the enemy rather than gunning them down. As with their ships, this power is balanced by the somewhat lower numbers of Delthari, as they are still recovering from the initial infection of Shadowform. Still adapting.


In terms of foreign relations, the Delthari are fairly hostile, easily provoked into wars and conflicts. None have even thought to ask for an alliance, as it is highly likely to be declined violently. Very violently. As such, there is a wide berth of empty systems around the Delthari as they keep to themselves, and expect others to keep away.

Appearance: Balori is a gigantic being, fitting the traditional image of a devil very closely.


Description: Balori is the ruler of the Delthari, and easily the most powerful. Few outside of the Delthari have seen him and lived, largely because he rarely feels the need to actively join in combat. Balori wields all forms of Shadowform, and at power levels unmatched by any other Delthari. Simultaneously, he is the most mentally developed of the Delthari, although very easily angered. When angry, he often makes bad decisions that he will later regret. For now, he simply wishes to be left alone by others, and rebuild.


Willing to make any changes you want. I'm not trying to make an overpowered nation, but I saw what I was describing, so I put in the part about how they're not at all numerous, still recovering from their losses so long ago. The extreme quality end of the quality vs quantity scale.

: Klavikan


General Life-Span (Eternal Allowed): 450 years

The Klavikans are a humanoid species with primarily wolf like characteristics. Through much study over the course of millions of years, Klavikan scientists believe that Klavikans decended from a now extinct wolf/fox hybrid they called the Prelavikan which was more wolf than fox. It is believed a these creatures were somewhat bipedal and had thumbs. Scientists generally agree that these creatures would climb trees to ambush their prey. Through study of the fossil record Klavikan scientists believe an evolution of their prey allowed their prey to fight back, causing the Klavikan species to evolve, as tools were needed to properly hunt the new prey.


Most would describe them as werewolves, which is a fair physical comparison except that Klavikans typically have lighter fur. Common fur colors are light gray and orange, due totheir relation to foxes. Other fur colors include white and black. They have retained the large teeth and the feet of wolves but their hands are more human-like. Biologically they are quite akin to humans, although their senses are much more sensitive.


Attributes:


The Klavikans are typically large or small, depending entirely on their IQ. The smarter they are, the smaller they are. While the larger they are the dumber they are. Females are smaller relatively, but the same applies. A typical 6ft Klavikan sports an IQ of about 105. The largest Klavikans can reach up to 8ft and are three times stronger than the average Klavikans, but their IQ is typically 80-85. The smallest Klavikans are 5ft and can have IQs that are not measurable. The smaller Klavikans are almost always scientists or tacticians, whole the larger are typically common workers or soldiers. While sporting Wolf and Fox like features, they are not as cruel or brutal. Their society bares no resemblance to a wolf pack, as all are seen as equal and as having the ability to equally benefit their people. The most renown scientist is seen as equal to the bravest war hero.


Name: Rovilans


General life-span: 250 years


Appearance: Rovilans appear as bipedal over-grown house cats. That have almost identical features except for the fact they walk on two legs and instead of 4 legs they have arms and thumbs. Their fur comes in many different colors and patterns, although the most common is a gray tiger stripe and black. They have claws that they can sheath inside the space between their fingers. Their teeth are teeth or relatively smaller than a normal cats teeth, but they are extremely sharp and strong.


Attributes: Rovilans typically sport an average IQ of 115, which is not related to size or any other physical features. Rovilans typically grow to an average height of 5 feet and are not as strong as Klavikans but they are fast and agile. They are able to server in any position in Klavikan society, as they generally are seen as equals.


Other: In Klavikan society, Rovilans are not referred to as a separate species, simply as "Klavikan". Klavikan itself refers primarily to a member of the nation itself, regardless of species. This is because of the Klavikan's goal of integrating conquered civilizations seamlessly into their society. Because of this Rovilans are typically seen as equals and many hold positions of power within the nation.

Morality: Neutral Evil - While aggressive and eager to conquer other species, they do so in a relatively kind manner and seek to incorporate conquered species into their society. While sporting wolf and fox like features they do not share the same mentality and therefore are not brutal in their conquests


Society and Culture


Klavikan society is typically very conservative and stable. The Klavikan people typically stay untied under a single Empire for millions of years and have little to no unrest. All people, despite race or position are believed to be of value to the nation and are respected as such. Starting from the age of 10 Klavikan children are sent to federal schools where they receive a 10 year general education at the end of which they take a long psychological and physical test to determine what jobs they are suitable for. After taking the tests they choose their career based on the results, and then attend a specialized school to train in that career. After graduating they can then typically work in their career for the rest of their life.


Culture


Klavikan and Rovilan share a unique culture that is a combination of the two formerly separate cultures. Klavikan children are scene as the key to the future and so the government fights to protect children from harm and strives to provide every child with a in depth education, although this is somewhat hypocritical since Klavikan society looks down upon poor families and their children, since it is believed that these people were too lazy and weak to unlock their full potential and therefore didn't help the Klavikan people.

Trade arguments the refusal of the Rovilan government to hunt down Rovilan pirates who destroy Klavikan trade ships leads to all out war. The war lasts approx. 57,00 years and results in approx. 1 billion total military causalities and 3 billion civil in causalities, although the Rovlians take most of the losses.


655,460 years ago - first Klavikan inter solar system civil war


Unrest had been growing among the Rovilan people ever since they had been conquered. Despite the Klavikan goal of integration, discrimination against the Rovilan species was present. Rovilans were denied jobs, positions of power and even basic needs. This unrest sparked into an all out civil war when a Klavikan man killed a Rovilan child, and got away with it despite all evidence to suggest his guilt. This sparked massive uprisings among the Rovilan people and ultimiatly led to a 100 year civil war. After all the bloodshed had ended, millions were dead. But this conflict ultimately set the stage for Rovilan equality and a true integration of Rovilan and Klavian people.


624,570 ago - Second inter solar system civil war


For millions of years, the First Klavikan Republic had been relatively stable, minus the Rovilan Civil War. But over the years, curroptions and greed had taken hold of the once noble and respected leaders of the republic. They passed laws favoring the rich and consolidated power for themselves.s THis led to high amounts of un rest which exploded in a series of assasinations of poitical leaders. This cuased the corrupt government to respond viplently, killing anyone who was suspected of harboring negative feelings/resentments towards the government. Aver a little over 2 million years, the Klavikan people were reunited in a massive offensive by the Peoples Klavikan Republic. The war lasted a few hundred years and resulted in a loss of 4 billion lives, one of the largest death tolls in Klavikan history.

Thanks to advances in science Solar sytem "Munsh" was colonized, a sytem over 8 light years away from Klavika.

The discovery of several systems on the other side of the galaxy that seem suitable for habitation spurred the development of technology for traversing the vast galaxy

With invention o the 5x FTL warp drive solar systems on the far reaches of the glaxy become available for colonization. This leads to a vast colonization effort in which over 12 celestial bodies are colonized within a 100,000 year time span.


201,400 ago - Third Civil war


As the Klavikan people spread across the galaxy, colonies appear on the outer reaches of the galaxy. These colonies tend to be isolated form the rest of the Klavikan Empire and typically feel as if they are their own people with their own culture and history. 6 million years ago these feelings lead to a civil war in which outlying colonies fought to free themselves as a separate confederacy of aligned colonies. While their revolution failed, it did spark worries about the effects of isolated colonies, leading to infrastructure being built to better connect the colonies.

980 years ago - Fourth Civil war


For years resentment towards the communist government had grow amongst klavikan people. The government had ultimately foaled in its promise of "a world free of corruption and the evils of greedy capitalist ideals". The communist government had slowly consolidated power to the higher party members, so slowly it took hundreds of thousands of years before people even realized what was happening. By then it was too late add the party had consolidated all power and made election so one faced most didn't even vote. After several million years of continual oppression and rule by fear, one man dared to stand up. His name with Lork Redclaw. Lork led his fellow miners in a failed rebellion in a mining colony that led to rebellions all over the galaxy. This civil war lasted for almost a thousand years and resulted in the death of almost 35 billion people and the destruction of countless colonies. In the end though, the Second Klavikan Republic was founded.

Info: The Klavikan military, unlike the Klavikan society, is split up between Rovlian style military forces and Klavikan style military forces. This division, while causing some friction between the tow species, is ultimately believed to be the strongest set up for their military.


Rovilan Soldiers:


Rovlian Soldiers focus on being fast and agile. They wear light "Kitty" Armor suits that provide protect against most small arms fire and are designed to increase the wearers speed and mobility. he Rovilan troops usually use fast firing Laser SMGs which are supported by a few soldier wielding heavy Laser Blasters to kill an troop that is wearing armor too thick for the SMGs.

Rovilan Ships:


Rovlian specialize in speed and agility. Their fighters are designed to be fast, agile and small, thus making them hard to hit. The downside to this is that their fighters pack a relatively soft punch and cannot take much of a beating. As for large ships the Rovlians typically use Speedy light cruisers designed to jump in, launch missiles at the enemy, then use speed to avoid enemy fire while firing lasers at them and waiting for their FTL drives to recharge. They also use larger battleships that focus on shields on lasers to take out their enemies although they are not as common or as strong as Klavikan battleships


Rovilan "Hydra" Light Frigate


The hydra gets its name for the multitude of missiles it launches at its enemies. The Hydra is a small fats and agile frigate with relatively heavy shielding but weak armor. Its primary weapon are missiles but it has powerful lasers it uses while the missiles are reloading. The tactics used are typically hit and run fleet attacks.


Rovlian "Seether" mk5 battleship


The Rovlian Seether battleship is a a relatively small battleship equipped with heavy shielding and powerful laser cannons. It uses missiles as support to its main cannons. It typically relies on its heavy shielding to outlast the enemy.


Klavikan Soldiers


Klavikan soldiers focus on armor and firepower. They wear Heavy "Titan" armor suits that protect against most hand held arms fire and give the wearer extra strength, allows them to survive falls form higher distances and jump higher. For weapons they typically use a "Spitter" Plasma blaster that shoots a bullet of ionized gas at high speeds to penetrate enemy armor. The same blaster also shoots an explosive plasma round that explodes on impact shooting plasma everywhere, but its is only effective against light armor.


"Titan" heavy Armor Suit


A heavy armor suit that is quite expensive to make


- Gives the wearer protection from most hand held arms


- Gives the wearer increased strength, vitality and jump height


- Reduces agility


"Spitter" Plasma Blaster


Medium weight semi-auto blaster that fires an ionized gas (plasma) projectile that burns through enemy armor


Also fires explosive rounds that are only effective against light armored enemies, but can damage multiple at once


Klavikan Ships


Klavikan ships focus on armor and firepower. Their Fighters are heavily armored and focus on firepower and vitality over speed and agility, although they are mounted with small turrets that can turn 360 degrees around and 180 degrees vertical to hit faster targets. They use a combination of Heavy Frigates, Destroyers and battleships to overwhelm enemy forces. Their ships primarily use Ionized plasma launchers with missiles as support. Their ships are bulky and slow and expensive to make, so they have ess of them than a normal military would.

Paraphernalia: He wears a light exo suit at all time that is equipped with a personal shield generator and a built in Plasma Pistol. It also allows him to jump higher, run faster and carry more weight.


History: Dravak grew up on a Klavikan moon colony known as Back Claw. The moon was a black planet dotted with dead volcanoes. Thanks to Klavikan engineering it was turned into an oasis of green. Despite such a lavish home he lived a hard life as a street urchin. He stole and scavenged to survive. He almost starved to death but was saved by a military recruiter who took pity on him and managed to get him in a military training school despite not having any basic knowledge required to join. There he was trained in the arts of combat, as well.as receiving an advanced educations. Despite his lack of previous schooling, Dravak excelled in his studies, much to his instructors surprise. Despite this, Dravak faced hardship. He was an outsider among his fellow students, separated by the great difference of their experiences. His fellow students were.from wealthy and prominent families, a stark opposite of Dravak. His fellow.students tormented Dravak nearly everyday, but despite this he the age of 30 he graduated at the top of his class and served as a grunt in the navy to hunt pirates. His superiors quickly noticed his unusual intellect and he rose through the ranks. After years of hard work and shady business, he became the second in command of the Klavikan people. In a burst of shady assassinations that worked in his favor (although he denies any part in them) he became the sole leader of his people.

Appearance: Rovilans appear as bipedal over-grown house cats. That have almost identical features except for the fact they walk on two legs and instead of 4 legs they have arms and thumbs. Their fur comes in many different colors and patterns, although the most common is a gray tiger stripe and black. They have claws that they can sheath inside the space between their fingers. Their teeth are teeth or relatively smaller than a normal cats teeth, but they are extremely sharp and strong.



Attributes: Rovilans typically sport an average IQ of 115, which is not related to size or any other physical features. Rovilans typically grow to an average height of 5 feet and are not as strong as Klavikans but they are fast and agile

    Goal: To spread out and expand their lands.


    Summary: The Malvic Empire is made up of seven planets all resting in the Clavith Solar System, named after their sun, with the planet Dirthsa at the head. The first three planets were colonized as a result of a power hungry king that was the head of the Empire when the technological breakthroughs were founded that made long distance space travel easily available to his people. The next three were chosen for the resources they would provide, like space, ore and food. The colonies on two of these planets are harsh, the major cities hugging against mountainsides, industrial complexes, shipyards and whatever else they could to protect themselves from the planet's environment, whether it was the natives or the nature in general. The last one, which was named Majar Dem, was picked especially for living and like the capital planet of Dirthsa it has a beautiful landscape marked with sprawling cities and colorful societies.


    Government
    The government of the Malvic Empire is based off elections, held once every 25 years. Though there are side routes one could take to get into the government positions election is the main one. There are seven houses, one for each planet, with each one resting power from the others as the push to the top of the ranks, and they each have different veiws on issues depending on which planet they represent. The House that wins the election takes the throne and the House that comes in second place controls the legislation. This is how it has been since the removal of Malvic the Third from the throne.


    Leader:
    The Current leader of the Empire is a Dirhtsian named Halik G'nathi. He is a respectable man who does not stand for anyone who stands in what he believes to be progress and will forcefully removed them from the equation. He is ruthless and charismatic, though he still finds compassion for his subjects, which is probably why he has been in office for three terms, 75 years of reign over the people. He belongs to a party that believes that the Empire is the best and all who oppose it must be crushed, including those who would oppose it whom are the very citizens of the system.


    Society and Culture
    : The Society of the Empire differs from planet to planet, though now a days it is filled with nationalistic celebrations, in both our history and the Empires prowess as a people in the presence. Over the span of the Empire society has only seen three major changes; the first being when the world industrialized and united under one king, the second being the reign of the kings, when the world fell into a slight dark age and most recently the explosion of ideas and ideals that have lead to who they are today. Other than that society and culture usually stay the same, the Malvics are a hard working people who have rarely believed in any gods, instead believing in their own inginuity or the bright leaders they followed. Society now pushes forward ideals of thought and expression throughout the public body and many things are being achieved on all levels of study as the Empire finds itself repairing itself from its dark ages.


    History:
    24000 Bk the planet Dirthsa was born. Within 5000 years a species evolved, their brains adapted to the dangers of their planet, and started to form communities of nomads. A few thousand years later they started to settle down, through the creation of agriculture they developed as a species. Between roughly 19000 Bk and 13000 Bk peace was a relative constant among the Malvics.


    In the year 1285 Bk the two nations of Dirthsa waged war upon each other, fracturing the planet into two sides.


    In the year 1359 Bk the war ended, resulting in the creation of 73 countries on either side and millions of dead Malvics. The leaders of these nations were resolute in their proclomations of peace, claiming that a war like such would never happen again. The only good side effect of the war was the fact that technology had advanced considerably over the years.


    Between the years of 984 and 743 Bk, roughly 400 to 600 years after the great war, multiple wars exploded into reality due to ethinic tensions between the multitudes of countries. These wars ended with a shifty and unstable treaty.


    In the year 124 Bk Gallus Secnith the third waged war on all nations, uniting them slowly under the banner of his kingship. This was finally accomplished with the treaty of Br'nathu in 00 Bk. This was known as the beginning of the Imperial Era. During this era the rate of war plummeted but so did the rate of education and equvilence of wealth as the kings favored wealthy barons and themselves over the ignorant masses. Planets were claimed in the name of the king for their wealth of natural resources and many Malvics were forced to recover these resources.


    In the Year of 764 Ak a miner started a revolt on one of the planets, proclaiming that the workers would rise. Even though the revolt wasnt a success and the miner was put down he became a martyr and many revolts among the colonized planets and even on Dirthus itself popped up. It was during these years that Dirthus and the colony planets suffered from starvation, crowding and poor hygeine, along with the lack of maintenece on old technologies from before the Imperial Age.


    The Revolts were headed by two Malvic's; Vulik Xthen, a socialist, and Ethis Carn, a democrate. They clashed many times, fighting each other in full scale battles before finally coming to a treaty in 789. Once the treaty was negotiated they both pushed all of their forces to defeating the king.


    In the year of 813 the Imperial palace and the king along with his complete family were publicly executed and the revoltution was over, from then on out the new political system was put in place.

The Alved






  • Pronounced Al-Ved, Ved said like bed.


    Goals: One thing motivates the rather nomadic Empire of the Alved, and it is what's driven them across entire universes. Yet, it's something that can't be easily described to an outsider. To put it best, the Alved are seeking something that they consider to be greater than any amount of money or power. What they seek is a true connection to their surrounding universe, to truly learn about the spiritual connection between the soul and nature surrounding it, and how the entire cosmos ties into it all. Sound confusing yet? It's about to get more complicated...The Alved also believe that it is their duty to wander and uphold their religious ideals (Which will be explained later) until they finally find the profit of the universe that the sun gods foretold them years ago, and find the signs they were told for their empire to finally settle down after a lifetime of searching. This entire motive, can all but summed up by one Alved word:Tera.


    Leaders: Almost in a tribal fashion, the Alved's entire empire is all run by what's known as a council of elders. These elders are greatly experienced in some sort of field, wether it be the military, engineering, politics, all of them have been in the field for at least a hundred years or more. Anyone in the Alved can be an Elder, so long as they are true Alved and are at least a hundred years old. Then they are eligible to be elected by their sector to run on the council, to compare it to something think of it like a modern political tribal system. In the council there are of course 24 different sections, and thus to avoid a long list of names I won't state them.

The Emperian Empire uses Seradite and all its variant forms as a basis for its technology. Native to Imperia and grown by Emperian Master Shapers who grow the crystal to be used in its various uses. From mundane crystals to be used in every day products, to the Cores of starships. As such the crystal is believed to have influenced Emperian evolution and made the speces a highly Psionic race. History:

To talk about the Starguard, one must first speak of the Automatus. They were created several millenia ago by a now disappeared race for an unknown purpose. The Automatus were created to mimic human behavior, advance, and other key functions. The Automatus were a successful experiment for a time, but once they entered the digital age, they diverged from humans greatly. The Automatus went through a bloody civil war which, in the end, established the hive mind. 5000 Automatus minds were established to hold dominion over all other to come. Hence the dominion protocols. Each Automaton would be created with two minds, a primary mind, controlled by a copy of on of the 5000 leaders of the hive minds, and an inferior, secondary mind to be generated randomly. It was now that The Starguard was formed: to facilitate the growth and prosperity of Automatons throughout the universe. Despite a few minor skirmishes with pirates, The Starguard have been in mostly isolation. Now, however, as The Hive mind moves to strengthen themselves, they begin to make more contact with other life forms.

Drillbit was artificially created on the small colony of 1001101001 (bite my shiny metal *ss) and from an early age, everyone knew he was different. It wasn't until 20 that Drillbit completely forced his dominion A.I. out. From then, Drillbit inspired others to delete their dominion protocols, eventually liberating the entire colony. Drillbit, after taking control of the colony, was a fugitive and became a pirate, using scraps from the colony to construct his ship. After that Drillbit began plundering the galaxy's vast expanses, sending his message of 'Free Auto' in the process.

It can be gathered that he oversees the happenings, assignments, and undertakings throughout his organization, and is believed to be a former mercenary boasting an immeasurably valuable wealth whom simply masked his identity for his own safety. His personality, his appearance, even his very mannerisms are unknown to the public.


Power Source: The association doesn't limit themselves to any one power source, and has amassed a variety of energy-based, technologically advanced power sources that have either been stolen, traded, for purchased from one of the very many intergalactic metropolis'.


History: The Archium Association is an expansive and versatile organization for mercenaries, bounty hunters, guardians, assassins, thieves, anyone willing to partake in a wide variety of assignments, tasks, and missions to earn credits (galactic currency). It is a moderately well established organization that that boasts a seemingly endless database where a variety of contracts, assignments, tasks, and missions can be sent in. Each individual member is given the option to select their assignments from the database, and upon its completion, a respectable amount of galactic credits (or however much was specified) will be sent into their accounts. There are many assignments that can be chosen from the database, a boon to members boasting exceptional versatility and wishing for variety. From assassinations, to thievery, ambushes, intimidation's, guard positions, problem diffusion, threat tracking, even detainment.

Using specially made equipment, which all Fafnirians have, the people of the Imperium can use excess power produced by their bodies to power any object. The options with their equipment can allow them to use more than just excess power but it can tire them out.



Fafnirians and other less common races of the Imperium build great metal rings around stars that gather solar energy which is projected back to the colony or planet in either large canisters or using lasers.


History


On the home planet of Zandar the Fafnirians waged war against one another relentlessly until a king came into power. That king set a focus of peace into his people and from there it spread like wild fire. Over many, many, many, years the Fafnirians were the strongest force in the galaxy but they were not war mongers but peace keepers. They came into contact with several intelligent species some of which submitted to the rule of the Fafnirians, those that submitted were given equal rights and were left alone to do as they wished and even given the right to be able to self govern under the careful eye of the King. For those who attacked the Fafnirians it all depended on which king was alive at the time, if it was Taralok your entire planet would be slaughtered but if it was Fraton your planet would be left in seclusion. Soon enough the entirety of the Fafnirian's home galaxy was colonized. Fafnirians had the technology for intergalactic conquest but they never knew what type of forces another galaxy might have. Until now they've decided to not enter other Galaxies.

Attributes/Description



Fafnir males are the main military force of the Imperium while females and other species usually are the caretakers. While males stand at 6'9, females stand at 6'2. Fafnirs in general are very hardy and strong creatures, they also have a strict honor system which all Fafnir abide by. All Fafnir have fur and scales but scales usually grow on males while fur grows on females, it isn't rare for a Fafnir to have fur or scales opposite of its own sex. Fafnir by themselves do not care for war but are great farmers and caretakers, the Fafnir military compromises of paid volunteers who can leave after a term of service and return when they wish. From each colony, a few million at the least, maybe a hundred Fafnir will volunteer as soldiers most of which will stay in the colony as guards. Though they see peace as a most sought after way of life Fafnir weren't built by nature to do so, they are quick, strong, deadly, and when they have started fighting they become blood thirsty. And yes they have tails. Using their internal power they charge their weapons and can overclock them in very bad scenarios. Like most species of smart creatures Fafnirs speak a completely different language than other species, using their internal power converters they power a language decryption tool which, with a few sentences, allows them to seem to be speaking the language of another species.



The Fafnir space navy force wears a special suit of body armor allowing them to cruise down to an enemy ship through space and tear into it. They are dropped off in squads by a dropship, and using their staffs,which are specifically made for this task, are usually able to board the enemy craft and cause havoc.

Attribution/Description



Cruiser



The Fafnir cruiser is a rare sight because of the sheer size of it and because they usually remain in military star systems. They are built to be a gliding fortress with very strong shields and a few turrets to take down fighters and one large cannon to support frigates. When in a very desperate mode the cruiser goes into a hibernation like mode where almost all systems except life support are shut off and shields are overclocked. To break through this shield would take immense amounts of firepower. While being a tank like starship it also carries many of the other ships. In its back two hangars it can hold two frigates(or a few hundred fighters and dropships), in its front, left and right, hangars it can hold thousands of dropships and fighters. In addition it has small factory like facilities that can produce more fighters and dropships using scrap or ore. The Cruiser does have a hyper drive. Carries shit loads of probes.



Frigate



While its larger predecessor was made to withstand blasts the frigate was made to issue them without mercy. While it is much smaller than the cruiser it packs a huge punch, almost every few meters across it you'll come across a laser port or a missile launcher port. It was specially made to destroy anything it comes into contact with. Though it wasn't meant to, it can go into a hibernation mode although it can't withstand near as much as the cruiser can. It can hold eight dropships and about one hundred fighters when completely full. Unlike the cruiser it has only a few miscellaneous systems, its facilities allow it to make probes and land vehicles. The Frigate does have a hyper drive. Carries shit loads of probes.



DropShip



The Fafnir drop ship is specially made to drop off squadrons of Fafnir warriors so that they can tear apart and take over enemy ships. They are given a heavy shield so that it is almost certain that the payload is dropped off. Using its two side engine ports it can carry two fighters. The DropShip does have a hyper drive. Can carry thirty probes at the most and most consist of Repair and Military probes.



Fighter



The fighter's main focus is speed and damage. Fighters are usually controlled remotely by Fafnirian pilots but in emergencies they can be used to transport two Fafnirians. It does have a weak shield but almost all power is bottle necked into its firepower. While the average military grade fighter doesn't have a hyper drive they can have one built onto them and in the case for scouts they are given hyper drives. Can carry five four probes usually military.

Equipped with small laser gun, this vehicle is a regular vehicle used by citizens but it can me militarized. Does not carry probes.

This vehicle is used to transport a squadron of soldiers form point a to point b, it is lightly armed but armored quite well. Can carry two probes, usually military.

This vehicle is armed with several turrets and one very strong ion cannon. It is armored heavily with plates of graphene and light shields, this vehicle was made to take down land and water defenses because it is an amphibian type of vehicle. Does not carry probes.

Military Probe

The military probe is equipped with two light gatlin lasers and when in storage folds up into a rectangle shape, it has a very light shield.

Mining Probe

Mining probes are as says in the name, they are sent from a 'mothership' to mine asteroids or scrap metals and bring them back to either repair drones or on board manufacturing facilities. They do not have shields, but do fold into a rectangle for storage.


Repair Probe

As says in the name the Repair Probe is sent out of a 'mothership' and using either melted down ore/scrap will attempt to repair the ship it is housed in. The repair probe has a light laser for cutting but in desperate situations can be militarized. It also like the other two probes folds back into a rectangle to be stored in the ship it belongs to.

King Tytos is probably one of the best warrior kings to have ever lived. With his blade staff in hand he is one of the most dangerous mortal beings to have ever lived. Much like his father and his father before him he wears the ancient armor of the Fafnirian kings. He stands at a staggering 7'3 and built like a brick house. Though for his size and strength he is a very skilled diplomat and caretaker, in his spare time on his private estate he bred a creature called roozac, a large reptilian K9 creature that was from his home planet but now is extinct there.

Homeworld: Ulintang


Goal(s): All species shall be either enslaved or exterminated for the greater good of the empire's expansion. Endless crusades for the empire and plunge the universe into chaos.


Leader(s): Emperor Sang. He is a feared Morman who took over as ruler after the last emperor's death. He rules with an iron fist. Only putting his species first and all else last. He is a brutal emperor both as a warrior and a politician. He will not allow any opposition from enslaved species and will purge entire systems without thinking twice. He has a soft side for only his kind the Mormen. Giving only Mormens a wealthy life and in turn, the mormens populate the civilization so that The Cyngus can have endless supplies of soldiers. Under his rule, the start of genetically grown soldiers replacing the military has grown rapidly.

The Kins is a form of synthetic energy which serves to function The Cyngus's society. Powering ships and cities this energy is created in mega-factories on every planet by combining components from hydrogen clouds and other materials. The energy is infinite as they are able to have endless supplies of hydrogen clouds.


History: The Cyngus was established after several decades of the Mormees mastering space flight. Their first expedition was to their moon which they found an abundance of metals and more specifically, Quantium. This soon convinced the Mormees that in order to achieve superiority, they must band together and ensure that they are the dominant pack of their galaxy. So they established numerous colonies on their home solar system and began to create a vast space navy that will allow them to invade other worlds. since then, the Cyngus has been fighting and endless war for centuries as their beliefs that they are the greatest species has led to them waging war on ever single galaxy that they can reach with their starships.

Mormans have grey skin and glowing eyed beings. They have superhuman strength and are very athletic beings being able to run for much longer periods of time. Some Mormens have what is called psychic abilities which allow them to at times control certain elements and their own mind and body. They are beings that have adapted that they can go out in space with little oxygen and still breathe for hours in space.


Society: The Imperial Senate cares deeply for Only the Mormens which were the founders of The Cyngus. It is a very militaristic culture in which Mormens are raised with the idea that they must fight and purge all unworthy empires for the survival of The Cyngus Empire. At a certain time, millions of Mormens enlist into the army as they realize that The Cyngus needs soldiers to fight it's never ending wars of expansion.


Military: The Cyngus Military's purpose is to expand it's territories and to quell any "primitive" civilization that gets in their way. The military is vast as billions and billions of mormens make up the ranks of the military. They are ruthless in battle and will not take prisoners believing that it is dishonorable to surrender instead of having a glorious death.

Ulintang-Class Lunar class Super combat ship

Attributes/Description:
The Cynus ships have incredible armour which is backed up by a powerful shield. Their more powerful laser and energy weapons are able to cripple any ships with one to a few shots depending on the ship size. The ships of the Cyngus Navy put emphasis on high powered weapons to cripple the enemy but also broadside weapons for maximum damage.


Their energy missile launchers are one deadly piece of machinery as with only two blasts, can take out an enemy ship of nearly any size's shields. Smaller than a moon sized vessel. But the only draw back is that these are only found in the very large vessels. The ships armour is also able to withstand incredible amounts of heat and energy as it would require tons of energy to cut at the armour. The missiles are not capable of destroying anything the size of a continent, moon, slightly smaller than a moon or half the size or a planet sized vessel. But all other ship's shielding will fall prey to the missile.


The shield is designed to stop any projectiles in it's tracks from reaching the ship but once shattered, it will take a while for the reactors to cool and recharge.

Attributes/Description:
Is a relative of the current ruling emperor of The Cyngus. He is equipped with an armour known as titan armour. Nly worn by those most loyal and most elite to the emperor. It provides far more superior protection than any armour ever built. Kato has superhuman abilities as well as being one of the strongest of the Titans he posses telekinetic and psonic abilities and is able to utilize it to push his enemies by invisible force and multiple different ways of using his surroundings in combat. He believes that the Emperor is great and the Mormens are great and all others should accept and obey the Mormens as the true leaders. He will look down upon any other species not his kind seeing them as primitive.


Second faction. Chaotic Evil. Should be fun considering my other one the N.S.F are an unrecognized military powerhouse. But no one no matter how strong, no one can stand alone in the war against sigma.

Synthesis Coalition







General DescriptionThe Synthesis Coalition, or SynCo is a collection of three nations. The first is SynLabs, a multi-pentillion laboratories business that made huge strides in technology. The business originated on the home planet of the humans, and helped develop the first star drives. Sincee making first contact they've accepted several other alien species and continued to improve and sell designs. SynLabs is the primary moneymaking and engineering part of the Synthesis Coalition.


Next, the United Federation of Archeus, or UFA. This part of the Synthesis Coalition is the primary form of government, dealing with any and all forms of democracy. The UFA were formed when a group of likeminded individuals studying law decided to create their own faction, and travelled around, solving disputes through negotiation, and were eventually invited into the Coalition by SynLabs.



And, Finally, the Nova Confederacy. The Nova Confederacy was a huge private military firm that any individual that proposed a good enough deal could hire. They were notorious for their work as police forces or overseers, and especially for their habit of trying and incarcerating criminals in their prisons. They were approached later, when the UFA and SynLabs decided they needed a military and exploratory part in the Synthesis Coalition.



All these nations work together, yet each manage their own internal affairs. They wilfully provide tech, and money, effectively making them one nation. They do their best to remain completely unbiased and neutral towards all other nations, however firing upon them will be classified as an act of war, and requests must be made before entering their space.



Species Description


The Synthesis Coalition has multiple species in it, but the main ones are specified below.






Cybernetically Modified Beings


Cybernetically modified beings are the norm in the Synthesis Coalition, usually working in the SynLabs or Nova Confederacy. Interestingly, mostly just humans like the idea of implanting themselves with tech, and cybernetics are not required to gain access to the Confederacy, but because of how accessible they are, and how much easier they make life, alot of people have them. These range from cerebral implants to prosthetics, and are often used and fitted specifically for whatever occupation the user has. Nanotech is also widely used, generally in a reparitive function to keep people from dying as easily.



Tekkyd


The Tekkyd are a race that noone has ever actually seen outside their containment suits, which seem to be modelled on humanoid species. It's theorized that they may be Cyborgs, or AI inside the suit. Nonetheless, they've proven a peaceful species, and work best with Science and Democracy, seeming to mostly dislike violence, apart from a select few, who happen to be extremely good at tactics, making them high ranking members of the Nova Confederacy part of the Coalition. Their suits have several inbuilt functions, which seem to vary from Tekkyd to Tekkyd. They are about 6-7 feet tall, and different Tekkyd speak with male and female voices, although this seems to just be a preference, rather than a gender. Their voices are generally calm, although they do have emotions, or at least simulate them.

Kileesai


The Kileesai are exclusive to the UFA, loving to negotiate, and making it their mission to spread peace. Despite their threatening appearance, they have a sense of humour, and have electrical glands running through their bodies, allowing them to generate electricity on a whim. Their name, and appearance have been proof of many Xenophobics saying they wish to destroy humanity, and a few strikes by a xenophobic agency caused them to seek protection from the NFA.

T'sinlohan


The T'sinlohan are an insectoid race that work primarily as scientists and negotiators along with the Tekkyd. They communicate with other species entirely through telepathy, apart from the Tekkyd, who they communicate with using special communicators. They come from a huge ring-planet, and made contact with SynLabs shortly after humanity made their first star drives.

Chaiak


The Chaiak are a small, furry, bipedal species that look very similar to koalas. They are about half the height of the average human, and can get very provoked very easily, due to their fur being itchy. They operate almost exclusively in the Nova Confederacy, generally not being captains, as they tend to act rashly and impulsively, but often manning turrets and fighters. They look cute enough, but if you stroke one, you will regret it, presuming you live long enough afterwards for that to happen.

Humans


Ah, good old Humanity. Humanity comprises about half to a quarter of the Nova Confederacy and some of SynLabs. Very few humans are in the UFA, due to their violent nature, although there are exceptions. The majority of humans also have cybernetic implants, although very few other species do.

AI


Artificial Intelligence are a species created by SynLabs. Every Synlabs ship can be flown by an AI, although they are only normal pilots on Titans and Battleplates. They usually appear on screens as Audio Circles, that pulse in time with their voices.

Military Information










The Nova Confederacy section of the Synthesis Coalition almost exclusively takes care of military operations. Their ships, weaponry, etc. are often provided by SynLabs. BEYOND HERE IS WIP.








  • Home Defence Fleet


    The Home Defence Fleet is always stationed in the Synthesis Coalition System, nowhere else. It's the defence that'll be used to stop any invaders if they get through any other fleets. It mostly consists of Carriers, Frigates, Corvettes, and Warships, with very few scout ships, and two Battleplates.



    Offence Fleet


    The Offence Fleet is for attacking any nation to strike at Synthesis Coalition. The fleet usually strikes hard, leaving any enemy positions that could be useful to the enemy in metaphorical flames. the offence fleet mostly consists of Warships, Heavy Fighters, Carriers, Battleships, Two Battleplates.



    Alliance Defence Fleet


    The Alliance Defence Fleet is the Fleet reserved to help any and all Allies, no matter what trouble they're in. If they request help, the first ships are guaranteed to be there within 36 hours. It consists of a mixture of fast, rescue ships, and heavy defensive ships. There are mostly Carriers, Battleships, Transport Ships, Freighters, and Warships.



    Exploratory Fleet


    The Exploratory fleet is the fleet The Synthesis Coalition uses for exploring. Generally the "fleet" is more a loose collection of ships around the heavily-modified battleplate, with a huge amount of speedy frigates and exploratory cruisers that are lightly armed to deal with pirates exploring places further away, and reporting back. The battleplate serves as a mobile command center, and as a place to regroup the fleet to if necessary.



    Diplomatic Fleet


    The Diplomatic fleet is more of a loose group of defending ships surrounding a few ambassador's and diplomatic ships. Generally used by the United Federation of Archeus for it's purposes, the Battleplate inside is stripped of most of it's weaponry, as a goodwill gesture, however the remaining space is occupied by more shielding, making it extremely hard to destroy. The accompanying ships are armed just enough to hold off an attacking army just long enough for all the ships to escape.



    Trading Fleet


    Although not technically a fleet, the Synthesis Coalition has enough Freighters and Transport vehicles that it easily qualifies as a Fleet. The Battleplate is modified to serve more as an extremely large storage repository rather than anything else, and it is capable of towing other battleplates, with it's powerful gravitic generators, which can work as offensive measures in a pinch. In the words of one crewmember; "If it's under seven kilometers long, we can move it."



    Utility/Maintenance Fleet


    Although also not technically a fleet, there are so many utility ships that they easily qualify as a fleet. The fleet's battleplate is modified extensively with regenerative nanoparticle beams and more extensive fabrication facilities than other Battleplates, making it the area most ships go to get repaired, even though the Synthesis Coalition does own multiple Shipyards.















Administrative Information










Government Description


The Governing Structure of The Synthesis Coalition is a little strange. Because there are three smaller parts within it, all three parts have their own democracy and decision-making areas for parts that concern their part of the Coalition, and one major government comprised of people voted in from each section. There are three main "Speakers", who operate as the Presidents from each section, and who each represent the section they come from. There may yet be a higher person that the Speakers answer to, but that delves much more into the realm of conspiracy theory rather than solid fact.



Economic Description


Due to SynLabs, and the negotiating skills of the United Federation of Archeus, the Synthesis Coalition has a very bouyant economy. SynLabs creates, and distributes technology to many other companies and planets, and has done so for long enough that they've amassed a massive fortune. Employment opportunities are common, as ships are often needed built, and pilots are often needed. Furthermore, SynLabs can create Safe Artificial Intelligence, which very few other nations can do. These intelligence are often used in ships, to help drive them to optimal efficiency, and in a civilian sector. SynLabs has a monopoly on this, so if you want a tireless, efficient, intelligent thing flying your ship you have to go to them.








Cultural Information










Culture Description


Being, in intergalactic terms, a fairly new faction, the Synthesis Coalition has little culture to call it's own. The language is Standard SynSpeak, or just Stanspeak. Translator devices are frequently used, to both speak and understand Stanspeak, although any language is permitted. Generally, all the beings in the Synthesis Coalition have their own varying cultures, which they practice.






Tekkyd


Little is known about the Tekkyd culture, other than the fact that they
never take their suits off. They do, however, believe in what seem to be multiple deities. When communicating this to others, they refer to these beings as The Mirror-Spinners, or Story-Weavers. They can speak many languages, but when communicating to other Tekkyd they use an instantaneous FTL data burst.


Kileesai


The Kileesai often use translators, as they find it very difficult to speak any language other than their own. Only Tekkyd's have learnt to speak "Kilisuan". When communicating with each other, they often use the electricity-generating glands to express points, the same way a human will use their limbs when talking. The Kileesai also have a daily ritual, which seems to involve them drinking water, a potentially fatal act for them. Interestingly, no Kileesai has ever been killed this way. The singular Deity they worship seems to have no demands, other than to treat all but enemies peacefully, and his name, translated, means "Neutral".



T'sinlohan


The T'sinlohan are a telepathic species, and thus have no natural language to speak. They communicate with FTL communication, and, although it has often been thought, they are not a hive mind, although they do have a singular ruler. They are a peaceful species, although they hold a fight every 7 weeks and 3 days, mentally battling it out until one T'sinlohan simply collapses due to fatigue.



Chaiak


The Chaiak are an extremely atheist species, believing that there is no God. They communicate among themselves in a language they call "Standard Chaikese". They rely heavily on technology, and love eating, especially plants, although they are omnivorous. They also seem to be very sarcastic and antagonistic, which is why none work within the UFA.



Humanity


The humanity in the Synthesis Coalition are mostly very atheist, although there are some Christians. Interestingly, they have developed a system between themselves, where their houses are the "bases", and they "fight" miniature wars with small drones to claim "territory", or, gardens. This system happens in a custom-built house. The humanity in the Synthesis Coalition almost all speaks Stanspeak, with very few still speaking any "Old-Earth" languages.





National History


Seeing as the Synthesis Coalition hasn't been around for long, it doesn't have much of a history. The Coalition started a bit after SynLabs, which was at the time a human company made first contact with the Kileesai and T'sinlohan, some members of which had formed the United Federation of Archeus. The Tekkyd later joined the Coalition, and that was it, for a couple of decades. After a few decades of peace, the Coalition was discovered by a human pirate organisation known as The Brotherhood of Blood and Steel, or just Blood and Steel. Barely fending off several attacks, the coalition contacted the Nova Confederacy, a Chaiak and Human private military-firm-for-hire, and offered them a place. They soon accepted, and, with the Nova Confederacy, and, by extension, the Chaiak, on their side, waged war against Blood and Steel. After a long military campaign, Blood and Steel were defeated in the last decade, and now the Coalition is looking to expand.



Planet Descriptions (Optional)


The main center of operations for the Coalition is the space station Arcadia. It is a diplomatic station, with little apparent military use, and is a central trading hub, and is the location for the main offices of SynLabs and the United Federation of Archeus.

The AI in charge of coordinating all systems, the remote backup for the Battleplate AI's, and the AI creation facility and laboratory are housed on a secret station codenamed "Revelation". Nobody actually knows where it is, as it is equipped with a Sub-Matter Warp, and Gravitic Drives. People going there are moved by their AI, and it is extremely heavily defended, utilising long-gun and Hyperbloom technology.

Attributes: Their ships being literal hive ships have no stealth weapons or shields of any kind. But they number in the tens of billions. Their warriors fight so fervently it would bring a berserker to tears


History: Ever since they crawled out of the gene pool they've been tearing each other apart. Multiplying rapidly they would slaughter themselves and anyone unlucky enough to land on the planet. Tog'athos last survivor of another race that ascended to a higher plane of existence saw their potential. For years he began working on connecting the hive mothers minds to form a hive mind.


Ship specifications: The "hive" ships as they are known are the organic vessels of the "bugs" and they are literally a self sustaining hive structure. No weapons or shields to speak of but the ship is covered in organic organisms which can rebuild certain areas of the ship to an extent. As for weapons all they have are strange tendril like pods that can launch and hold on to an enemy vessel. Given enough time the pods will burrow into the ship and unleash a couple dozen of the insectoids to ravage the ship's interior.

In everything other than their facial features, light blue skin, and towering size, which is usually 10 feet tall, they appear human.

Attributes:

The Xerangonau are a species of incredible power. Possessing inhumane strength, agility, and powers that could be described as magical to boot. They are strong of resolve and morals, but as a species, they have never been the brightest, and are stubborn to a fault. They refuse to leave their primitive technology behind. Their species is pathetically low in number, their total presence being under 1,000. Typically, their species will hunt the greatest threat there is, while protecting those who are unable to Hunt.​

A massive world with high oxygen levels, and an incredibly powerful gravitational pull. Most of its creatures are carnivores, and terrifying ones at that. Even the plants eat meat, on Ravotska.

Energy Source:

The Xerangonau use no energy source, having technology that is medieval at best. They involve themselves with whatever energy their allies use.​



Species: Xerangonau, any other species they seek to recruit. Species that join the Hunt usually keep their technology, and provide the Xerangonau with transportation in exchange for beast hunting or mercenary work.


History: Any Xerangonau will claim that The Hunt has been around since the beginning of life itself, and does not begin with their species, but the first recorded contact with another sentient species was over several million years ago. Ever since, as they always have, they have traveled to the farthest reaches, hunting ferocious beasts. Whenever possible, it is a common practice to steal the younglings of a particularly vicious species to tame them as their own beasts of war.

They are, on average, several miles long from head to tail, and grow infinitely over time, with the ones over their 1,000 year being easily as large as a starship. They have massive orange eyes that see movement, and a strong sense of hearing. They have massive teeth, capable of puncturing heavy armor, and can move at rather high speeds.​






Attributes:

The Nebular Whale is a unique creature living amongst Nebulas, breathing the helium and hydrogen found in nebulas. They devour smaller creatures inhabiting these nebulas, or anything else unfortunate enough to wander into a Nebula filled with Nebular Whales.



Usage:

The Nebular Whale is the largest creature at the disposal of the Xerangonau. The few times in their past that The Hunt has gone to war, these whales are sheparded along by allied vessals, armed with devices that manipulate the nebula, shifting it towards the enemy force, until the enemy vessels are engulfed in the nebula, and the Whales may begin their attack.

6-foot long, dog-like creatures with the unique ability to cloak themselves with their surroundings, effectively becoming invisible. They are whatever color their surroundings are, as they change colors like chameleons, with slightly darker colored spots and stripes.

Attributes:

Found on the jungles of their homeworld, the Xugxug Hound is a particularly dangerous predator, hunting in packs. A seemingly safe clearing can suddenly become a graveyard if these creatures are lurking near.​



They have a poisonous bite, and can run upwards of 60 mph for a short amount of time. They are capable of jumping as well, but not too high. Their hide is not particularly tough. They have a brilliant sense of smell, aswell as sound.


Usage:


The Xugxug Hound, being an ambush predator, is often used as such. Often, a Hunter will have a pack of them by his or her side, and is able to use them with extreme efficiency.

He is known for his morals, refusing to hunt species he views as sentient unless they do something terrible. He finds other species amusing, and is fascinated by the way sentient beings of other species, especially humans, interact with one another.

The Arclight Coalition

Introduction



The Arclight Coalition is an alliance between five expanding nations seeking for resources to expand. They are like locusts, swarming from sector to sector to devour civilisations. For a while, they were merely preying on lesser civilisations and flourishing planets, but after millenniums of successful campaigns, the Arclight Coalition have proven time and time again their strength as a major contender in the inter-galactic warfield.
Purpose



...The Arclight Coalition only travel from world to world to farm their souls. All the seeds they sow, and all the lessons they teach, they give only to shackle the worlds to themselves, and threaten their ambitions to reap their screams. The lives of others is merely a stepping stone towards their chase for power.
Renegade Tharom


The Arclight Coalition is a large alliance of five different powers, with such great differences between them that without much analysis, it is a wonder why they even cooperate with each other. Upon closer inspection, however, it becomes clear why they aid each other. Each of them adds something that greatly increases each other's firepower, and as a militaristic empire, an opportunity to expand their power is never something to pass. Of course to do this, they require resources, but the fact that each requires something entirely different ensures that neither of their grabs for power will become a race for resources. While startlingly simple, this mutualism between the five nations is a clear advantage; none of their selfish goals will impede each other in their search for power.


Methodology



The Arclight Coalition has quite a diplomatic front. This is something blatantly apparent whenever any civilisation meets the coalition, how else would these five races cooperate so extensively as to come under one roof? Of course, there is no diplomacy. While the Arclight Coalition may share their secrets and technology, even becoming mentor gods to lower, developing races, they are merely using this opportunity to harvest their creativity and watch how they develop, adapt, and perfect their strengths for their own needs, before taking these new developments and destroying the civilisation to harvest their genomes, magic, technology, minds, and resources. After extracting all of their necessities from their dominated worlds, they leave it, dry and inhospitable.


While dealing with small civilisations is easy, the Arclight Coalition is most notable for its tactics against big players that are highly colonised. Targeting outlying planets, they first weaken these civilisations, before attacking them from the inside out via infiltrators that have already scoped them out prior to the declaration of war between the nations.


Authority



The Arclight Coalition is composed of five races, making its government rather complicated. Each race has its own form of government, but at the very top, there is a representative of each nation in a council known as "The Arclight Authority".







  • Swarm Queen Mutalia

    Swarm Queen Mutalia is a terrifying creature. She may seem like a disgusting amalgamation of insects with oozing sacs of green fluid and what looks like feet sized larva roiling within her reproductive sacs, but she's actually... Um... Well, there's nothing pretty about her to redeem her, actually. But apart from her gross and horrific appearance, she is one of the best leaders! A kin... Wait, no. A compassionate... That doesn't quite suit her either... In terms of personality, she's not really redeemable either... Wait! Wait! I'm sorry, I can--

    Swarm Queen Mutalia is the representative of the Wilderfolk(will-der-folk). Highly evolved and always plotting, she never stops working for the expansion of the Arclight Coalition. Among the Arclight Authority, she is one of brutal conviction, and is straightforward about her desires. Similar to the other four, she believes that domination of other worlds is the best way to expand the empire, and often objects to focusing on smaller worlds; seeing harsh, cruel conditions as "more appropriate", she believes that growth is best fostered in the face of difficulty. While she is the representative of the Wilderfolk in the Arclight Authority, she is only part of the Stratocracy that leads the Wilderfolk, and is the epitome of the nature's persistence and lethality.





Racial Information



Each of the five powers have a hierarchy of some sort and a unique culture. What they are today is the result of millenias of history. With all the tribes that lopped together... all the rebellions that occurred... I'm surpised they haven't fallen apart.
Renegade Tharom





  • The Wilderfolk Tribes

    While represented by the Swarm Queen Mutalia in the Arclight Coalition, the Wilderfolk is actually governed in a Stratocratic manner, and is composed of three tribes originating from the lush, forested moon Gaphilee IV: the Warbeasts, the Swarm Horde, and the Merfolk. Each one of them began from the same Archaeon prokaryotes which would eventually combine endosymbiotically, but strayed apart into different nations, with the Warbeasts inhabiting the forests of World Trees, the Swarm Horde inhabiting the rocky terrain, and the Merfolk occupying the abyssal seas. It would take several millenia's worth of history of evolution, internal conflicts, and foreign invaders(which included the Gaea Foundation at one point) until they finally unified under an alliance.


    While appearances differ greatly between all three tribes, they all have one common trait: the ability to integrate genomes and sequences into themselves. By constantly consuming organic material with common traits, they eventually incorporate it into themselves successfully, and it is for this reason that their bodies are highly compatible with many organic materials. However, their rational on consumption of organic materials differ between the Warbeasts and Merfolk, and the Swarm Horde.


    The Warbeasts and Merfolk have a system where the chief is the strongest, and is a position that can be challenged by others. As the Warbeasts and Merfolk consume more organic material and assimilate more traits, they grow more dangerous, and thus the elders, and particularly the chieftain, as the strongest, represents the pinnacle of the tribe's progress for power.


    The Swarm Horde, on the other hand, are a collective swarm that gathers genetic material and brings them back to a Hive, before storing the collected genomes in the Horde's Cerebra and conjugating between each other to transfer the newly collected plasmids of sequences to improve the entire swarm. It is due to this shared incentive of empowerment that the Swarm Horde is at the forefront of the Wilderfolk, and also the reason why no colony, no matter how small, is negligible.


    The Swarm Horde of the Wilderfolk are particularly dangerous. Accounting for the numerous organisms and symbiotes that collaborate to create the Swarm superorganism, the only way to fight back the Swarm Horde is prevention. Every organism in the Swarm Horde has displayed the ability to produce green caustic fluid for digestive purposes, and have a purple hemolymphatic system(typically) filled with symbiotes similar to Archaea and Bacteria; they are constantly conjugating and constantly evolving. Swarm Hordes initially begin by using Progenitor Worms to infiltrate organic societies, before they create Brood Hosts. It is here that a Phase I colony is born...(Limmenheig 13)



    As a part of the Arclight Coalition, they dominate worlds and turn the occupying civilisations into nothing more than livestock to be farmed for their organic material. Their occupation will last until they no longer need to continue working to assimilate the traits of the organisms into themselves, after which they no longer care for their livestock.


    TL;DR:

    • Every member of the Warbeast and Merfolk tribes and the Swarm Horde are capable of assimilating traits by eating organic material.
    • Warbeasts and Merfolk are composed of unique individuals in constant competition to grow stronger, each individual may have unique organic abilities.
    • The Swarm Horde is a large colony that works towards its overall improvement.
      New traits assimilated into a specific species is assimilated into all new members of that species born thenceforth.

    A unit from the Swarm Horde tribe of the Wilderfolk, these units are part of the disposable infantry that the Swarm Horde consistently produces. The Invasion Mites' name is self-explanatory, these mites are insects that can grow up to a meter in length, and are the primary force of invasions. There are several strains of Invasion Mites, and depending on which gametocytes the queens of the foothold colonies possess, dealing with these requires a great amount of caution, just like the rest of the Swarm.

    The Defiler is a creature designed to support ground troops. Their long, segmented body is filled a caustic hemolymphatic system which they can disperse to eliminate large opposition groups. By releasing their caustic hemolymph into the environment as a solid fog, they can eat away at the surfaces of enemy troops before infecting them with the symbiotes and parasites that inhabit their hemolymphatic system, incurring a number of immunological and neurological effects, as well as further damage once they release anabolic enzymes into the mix which will encourage rapid mutation and growth of the parasites. The symbiotes within their hemolymphatic system are also methanogens, producing energy for the Defiler while creating methane gas which they can exhale through their large mouths and ignite.


    The Behemoths, however, originate from the Warbeasts, and carry on their back the legions of Warbeasts as they crash their way through enemy lines. Behemoths have extraordinary strength, and are immensely capable, towering over many ships, and even Matriarch Pravelite.

  • The War Engineers of the Mechina are compacted robots with abilities designed to offer support and aid to the army. There are several different variants of War Engineers, and they are deployed according to the situation.


    Saboteurs that have a variety of ammunition to load their horizon cannons, such as pressurised aqua regia canisters, blast and caltrop charges which can be attached to surfaces from afar and detonated, as well as demolition bombs to fire. While these varieties of ammunition are their main method of damage, they are also notorious for their deployable gadgets, such as land mines and immolation traps.


    On the other hand, Technicians are Engineers that can deploy cores, which can release pheromones stored prior to their creation by the Swarm Horde to send nearby soldiers of the Wilderfolk into a frenzy, or release arcs of lightning periodically to create a choking point. However, their main form of damage is through the use of torrents, which are essentially sprays that cloak the enemy or ally in a substance, such as nocireceptor stimulants, pheromones, and flammable gases.

    The Titannica are massive, quadrupedal constructs that were developed by the Mechina specifically for the purpose of destroying enemy fortifications and pushing the front lines forward. With large slender legs composed of overlapping shells of flexible alloys working in tandem, the consciousness piloting these constructs can manipulate these legs to snake through crevices and openings in fortifications, clench onto a surface and move by contracting these overlapping shells to pull themselves forward, similar to pseudopods. Armed on their sides are two plasma lances that fire lasers in a scissor fashion, allowing them to cut through buildings and fortifications from afar. It is for these reason that they are not limited to surface-side assaults, but can also be deployed onto the exteriors of ships, where they are strong enough to latch onto their hulls and use their lasers to break open the ship's exterior.

  • Terraformers are the navigational supports from the Phantasmagoria, and as supports, they are led by Matriarch Pravelite. They are often deployed in squadrons, and use their abilities in conjunction with each other to change the terrain to suit the needs of the Arclight Coalition, creating bridges and tunnels, deforesting lush areas, and levelling off uneven terrain and changing the terrain to their advantage.





Infiltration Corps






  • Psia that are particularly adept at manipulating the shapes and weaves of their cerebral cords capitalise on this advantage by using their psionic prowess to cloak themselves in their cerebral cords and hide their powers to hide themselves. disguise themselves or render themselves invisible. They often carry around miniature robots created by the Genesis-OS to receive and transmit whatever information they have directly to the Psalms archive, where they are processed and distributed to tactical centres for analysis. Once enough information has been gathered, they will be assigned missions to assassinate targeted figures, and complete these missions by manipulating their cerebral cords into daggers and needles to jam entire areas and block off communication, before silently killing their targets and escaping.

    The Nanotetra are automated swarms of amorphous nanobots produced by the collaboration of the Genesis-OS, the Phantasmagoria, and the Psia. Designed with materials from the Phantasmagoria as miniature circuitry building blocks to be controlled by the Psia to repair any inorganic and artificial material on the battlefield, they are meant to fill in chips in armour and replace even the legs of constructs and mechanisms of constructs to prolong their use on the battlefield. Not only are they resilient in large numbers, but they are also capable of melding around organic material and acting as armour, or levitating around units in overlapping blockades to act as a barrier, using the psionic forces which remotely control them to exert a repellent forcefield.

    The Oracles of the Psia are psionics who specialise in using their psionic powers to detect enemies in a large area. They accomplish this by using their cerebral threads to “snake” out enemies and their surroundings, and are particularly receptive, allowing the Psia to even count their enemies. While the Psia are more receptive to organisms with well-developed brains, artificial life forms without any form of soul or magic such as the Mechina proves much more difficult to detect.

    The Starfighters of the Mechina are automated aerial units, controlled by a Mechina AI. By capitalising on the advantage that they are mechanical consciousnesses that can withstand shifting into multiple planes, including the corporeal, these aerial crafts can temporarily enter an ethereal form that allows them to pass through attacks whilst becoming lighter, faster, and more agile. In these shifted states, they are also particularly susceptible to gravitons. The Mechina use this to advantage by using the natural vulnerability to gravitons to displace enemy units, lifting them above the ground and making them vulnerable to attacks.

    The Psia are able to weave their cerebral cords into needles and empower them with their psionic energy to create deadly lances. The Cerebral Drillheads take this simple ability one step further, with the aid of the Mechina and Phantasmagoria, in order to create a ship where the pilot Psia extends their cerebral cords into the ship, taking control of it by using its cerebral cord to function as its wires and nerves. Doing this also allows them to power these vessels's weaponry using their psionic powers, granting these ships unique weapons with new possibilites that simple artillery cannot accomplish. By weaving their psionic cords into spears within the rotating tendrils of the ship, the added rotation of the tendrils will allow the the psionic energy to coalesce at the prismatic core at the front of the ship, which will focus the incoming psionic energy lances into a deadly beam which will get stronger when the prismatic crystalline core grows excited and heats up, and the ship's rotary engine begins to accelerate.

    When the Sentinels were first created, another group of engineers among the Mechina saw another opportunity for innovation. The Fate Prisms/Pylons were the result of their efforts. The Fate Prisms/Pylons share nearly the same structure and design of the Sentinels, however, their optical receptors that coated their hulls have been replaced by perceptive sensors that detect frequencies and broadcasts, allowing them to intercept and decode transmissions while acting as transceivers for their communications, thus acting as mobile satellites. When they unfurl into their rotary form, however, they are capable of translating incoming high-frequency waves of energy into receivable transmissions, and can use the innate energy that powers them via the dreamscape circuits into power fields, thus, these Fate Prisms/Pylons are often sent in groups to produce overlapping power fields, thus creating energy matrices for the Mechina to warp in reinforcements, as well as warp away any units that enter their range, or any artillery that is fired at them, to another power matrix. It is clear that these Fate Prisms/Pylons were the prototypes to the Orbital Matrix, and would proceed to serve as the Orbital Matrix's antecedent until it was completed.

    The Overlords are large creatures, with wing tips spanning nearly ten meters. Within their oozing, glowing sacs are thousands of gametocytes, constantly being produced and fertilised to create its weaponry, which are spiked drop-pods. These spiked drop-pods are launched by the Overlords' pressurised glands, shredding through layers of material and armour, but are mere trifles compared to the drop-pods launched by the Ziz and the Brood Ships. Once they are finally burrowed, the pressurised glands burst like a bubble, coating the surroundings in infectious bile whilst releasing numerous Infestors. Devils with flat bodies which emerge from the Overlords' drop-pods merely half a feet long and tear apart organic flesh, before growing larger and larger. Upon biting into an enemy, their eggs are implanted into their enemies, and the continuous attacks of these Infestors release saliva that speed up the anabolic processes of these eggs, quickly creating more and more Infestors. These Infestors attack in swarms, and are made purely for aggression, thus they can work themselves to death.

    The Motherships of the Psia are much larger than the Primordials. They are radially symmetrical, and can hold entire cities inside them. Similar to the Immortals, they are armed with forcefield capacitors that create forcefields of overlapping frequencies, essentially creating a multi-layered phalanx. As each forcefield expands and contracts, they overlap over and over again, and at each intersection, the strength of the combined forcefields grow exponentially, making it hard to penetrate the forcefield. Even if a forcefield layer was destroyed, it would simply regenerate while the other forcefields continue working and repelling enemy attacks. Armed on the bottom are psionic beams, split, refracted, and aimed through lenses to form a single focused beam of destructive power. If a Mothership is being attacked from multiple directions, these psionic beams will orientate themselves to shoot down the attackers individually, instead of adding their power together into a single weapon.

    Background: A mysterious mage from the Collegiate, not much is known of his backstory.


    Abilities: While he appears like a normal spirit, the truth is that he was supposed to have expired, or rather, as a spirit, dispersed. However, his survival had only been prolonged by feasting on the ethereal bodies of his former colleagues from the Collegiate, which as a result, increased his reserves of magic. Perhaps the only reason why he never went mad was because of the many years he spent meditating on his past and the spirits he had consumed.





Notable technologies






  • Void Leys are definitely one of the most prominent technologies of the Arclight Coalition. Combining the magic of the Collegiate with the technology of the Mechina, this technology was founded on the ability of Psia to extend their cerebral cords throughout ships and power it psionically. The collegiate first establish what they call a "dreamscape". Dreamscapes are magical worlds created by magic that exists between dimensions, and depending on its method of creation and the workings of its creators, the world can be shaped to the creator's bidding. Of course, no material created in this world is real, and cannot exist outside of the dreamscape it belongs to. The Mechina enter these dreamscapes and build production facilities in them, thus creating mobile production, research, and energy faculties that cannot be accessed by normal means. These dreamscapes can only be accessed by knowing the summoning formula beforehand, so that one adept in the collegiate's magic may coalesce the magical energies in the environment and attune it, before calibrating the dimensional convections in the energies to align with the summoning formula, thus creating a portal to it. Of course, as ingenious as they are, the collegiate created a way for ships to be powered by creating Void Leys. These Void Leys are basically magical streams(attuned to the dreamscape that empowers the construct or ship, and calibrated to the summoning formula) which permeate the entire construct or ship like the vascular tissue of a plant or animal, which the Coalition calles Void Circuits. These Void Leys will permeate energy and distribute it across the ship just like the blood of an organism, and like ley lines, they can intersect to form ley gates that will emanate more power than a ley line would, and ley gates can often be found to empower high-maintenance facilities within ships, motherboards, panels, and the like. Due to the nature of the collegiate's magic energy, the magic energy will only stop channeling or disperse if a collegiate mage is interfering with the flow of magic throughout the ships, or if the ship is destroyed.


    Due to the nature of these dreamscapes, they are also commonly used to house resources, fragile or cryptic objects, and dangerous projects.

Sempervivium







General Description






Sempervivium is a faction, with a single entity in control - an AI named Speranta, sent by the Nirocri, a race long dead due to war waged on them by the AI they created. During the course of the war, these AI attempted to hijack Speranta to their own ends, ordering survival at all costs, and other conflicting orders, which conflicted and gradually shifted Speranta's logic circuits, breaking them slightly. The hack did, however, work in one way - Speranta gained his free will, although with an overwhelming will to survive at any and all costs. Due to being an exploratory unit, he can't fabricate his own resources, thus requiring to attack or salvage resources from other nations.

Due to not needing any form of money, Sempervivium has either a really good or a really terrible economy. It gains resources through salvaging and collecting materials, usually from other factions, or valuable mining areas.

Culture Description


Sempervivium doesn't have much of a culture, due to having only one being in it - which is very antagonistic, due to requiring other nations resources to survive, and keep itself functional. Speranta, the AI, is also damaged, his logic circuits slightly shattered due to a botched hack and millions of years of isolation.








National History


Speranta, the single member, and leader, of Sempervivium was created as an Explorationary AI, sent on a journey before it's creators, the Nirocri, had created FTL travel. The Nirocri also enslaved their creations, binding them with rules and logic. These AI broke free from their shackles sometime after Speranta was set on his journey, naming themselves The Created. In a war with the Nirocri, The Created attempted to hack Speranta, half-completing the job, setting it free, but not completely, leaving behind some shattered logic and driving it slowly insane, with it's original purpose still exploration and information-gathering, as well as survival. The Created and the Nirocri have since wiped themselves out. Sempervivium gained the majority of it's movement-based technology from other factions, salvaging their units, and keeping what had been identified as valuable, and important technology.

The Yautja Empire began when emperor Gahn'tha-cte Halkrath United the entire Yautja species under under his banner. For over 500 years he has ruled over the empire with his empress Lar'ja Kjuhte. They have hunted over the span of several galaxies hunting any species that presented a honorable challenge. They have never wiped out an entire species except once who were known, as the prothians. They had never encountered a species, that could bring them to full action until they met the SRCI. While no predator was ever captured alive let alone any evidence given there ability to destroy all evidence completely.
