Back when Nickelodeon Studios Florida was first being built, the people excavating the foundations for one of the sound-stages where shows would be filmed, Stage 20, construction workers found an odd bright orange stone of sorts. The workers called it off as nothing, and the designers of the studio saw it as a positive premonition of the future, and built a little case for it in storage. Sadly, these two groups were both greatly deceived. The so-called "stone" was actually a vessel carrying the preserved consciousness of an ancient and powerful alien warlord. It had been lost, adrift in the cosmos for millennia, before finally crashing down on the future location of Universal Studios in 1362. Of course, no one knew of the backstory of this "rock" and so it remained.

On June 7, 1990, as Nickelodeon studios opened for the very first time, the consciousness became active. Although trapped within a distance of its rocky cell, it was still able to move around and observe some of the games shows which were being filmed on the soundstage where he was stored. these game shows gradually corrupted the warlord's consciousness, completely rewriting his personality into a more peppy, excited and energetic one, just like the hosts he observed on the game shows. Taking the name of Hart Reranator, he decided he wanted to have some fun of his own. He decided he would make his own game show, lure people into the stage, have them play to the death, and then give those who survived fabulous prizes, he would make a game show, his way.

On November 21st, 1991, his plan was put into motion, with three janitors becoming the very first contestants on his show. The sole survivor emerged the next morning, claiming he was tortured by the soundstage, and was sent to a mental hospital. A VHS tape, apparently containing the events the man had claimed, was also found on the janitor. In the summer of 1993, tapes apparently containing 6 episodes of the show, simply called "Game Show", began popping up in video rental stores around Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. At this point, Viacom, Nick's parent company, knew something sketchy was up.

From 1993 into 1994, most of the tapes were found, confiscated, and destroyed under the guide of a factory recall, and watchmen were established to guard the place at night to keep people from entering and setting off whatever was causing these murders. Viacom began damage controlling, having members of the FBI confiscate VHS tapes, and later DVDs, whenever and wherever they appeared. This angered Hart, and so he retaliated by messing with objects in the studio, causing contestants on Nick's own games shows to go into a frenzy, objects on the stages to fall "accidentally" and kill people, and at one point in 1999, was even able to break out of the soundstage and replace tapes of Nick Jr pilots with disturbing cartoons of his own creation.

This was all covered up by Viacom, of course, and they started attempting to move production away from the soundstage starting in 2002. But Hart was still not satisfied. In late 2004, during filming for the game show Splat, Hart caused a fire in Stage 19, one of the stages where Nick had relocated to because of him. The fire was put out, but the FBI, nervous about the power of this Hart thing, pressured Viacom to close the studio down and relocate, which it did the very next year. Although the Blue Man Group eventually took up Stage 21 and the HQ, Stage 20 remained abandoned, leaving Hart to make as many episodes of hi show as he pleased.

Fast forward to the present day. A group of friends decide to explore the abandoned Stage 20 at Universal, over rumors that it is haunted by a "Game show ghost". Little do they know that inside, Hart is making preparations for a big 25th anniversary episode of his show, prepared to thrill and spill the contestants once again, and grant the dreams of those who survive his challenge.

Are YOU up to the challenge?

I'm sorry to say I don't think I'll sign up for this roleplay, as its too gory and violent for my taste, although I wanted to tell you that it's a very interesting idea. Cool job
