Realistic or Modern From The North With Fury (Always Accepting)

With a quick dart of his hands, Arvid snatched one of the woman's wrists (alt spelling- Ridtz). He flashed a grin as he forcefully dragged her in closer. This was going to be nice, forge inter or not. Arvid hadn't hadn't felt the touch of a woman ever since he had left. Then, he caught her muttering a prayer. His father had always taught him to despise these Christians. Just merely seeing her preform this act made Arvid's blood boil. His brow furrowed and his fists clenched. "Your weak God will not help you now..." He hissed between clenched teeth as he threw her onto the bed of the room. Arvid wanted to show the Christian God that Odin would triumph over him any day.

@Sharkiee

She hissed as she hit the bed, "no please not again" she mumbled crawling up the bed, pinning herself against the head of the bed. Briana stared down at her decapitated husband, she was next is she didn't, she knew the rules. She looked back at the Viking, taking a breath in she moved forwards, her eyes locked with his, was this going to save her, she felt it was her only option. Briana began to sob as she pulled at her dress, taking her time to remove it.

@John Raptorfist

Sadime and the five soldiers, raced upstairs as more commotion struck. Her hand on the hilt of her sword, as she ran up the stairs, quickly racing into the room a Viking was attacking a girl on the bed, who looked about her age. She pulled out her sword from its stealth at her side, holding it expertly and steadily, pointing it at the man. "Stop!" Sadime commanded angrily, in Viking tongue. She had gained a few Viking allies from the past, and they taught her how to speak their tongue. Sadime didn't even notice only three soldiers came in behind her, they rushed in behind her, drawing their weapons as well, stareing at the Viking. With her other hand, Sadime, pulled back her hood, revealing her pale porcelain skin, light gray eyes, and blood red hair, her eyes staring at the Viking with a deep anger and hatred.

Argeus was extremely wary of this man. He noticed the soldiers behind him and knew they would handle the situation inside. " I suppose there's no point wearing this face now is there?" Argeus asked the Viking several places away from him in his own tongue. Argeus put his hand to his face and with lighting quick hands removed the face and drew two more knife. These knifes had been treated with a paralyzing poison so that he could escape. He needed to regroup and find Sigrid. When his opponent swung his sword Argeus ran forward and went to slice his armpit and the back of the knee.

As Hafthor had left his five men began to spread out around the first floor of the house, moving into rooms as they were sure their leader would be fine. It was only when they heard the door open and boots on the wooden floor that they emerged. Spotting a woman rushing to the stairs Hafthor's men would charge the ones who lagged behind her before they could reach the steps. Having taken her men off guard and being the best of Hafthor's already impressive group of raiders the combat was bloody, two of Sadime's men being killed within the first few seconds.

Sadly however her men took to the stairs, using the higher ground and narrow passage to hold with their fewer numbers. Not wishing to risk an up hill battle Hafthor's men simply waited patiently, thrusting at any opening they recieved to keep the womans guards pressured and unable to aid her with whatever she was doing up stairs.

@DarknessSpirit

(Hope you aren't bothered by me killing 2 of your men, only thought it was reasonable for some of them to die quickly considering they were attacked from the flank as they tried to follow your character. Definitely wasn't going to kill them all though, I'll leave how the fight goes from now on to the GM.)

Arvid chuckled darkly as the woman removed her dress. The Viking kicked the door closed behind him without taking his gaze from her lithe form. "Heh...I'm sorry you only have the tiny twigs the local men have to pleasure yourself with...you'd been happily surprised that battle isn't the only thing we Northmen excel at." He muttered in his native tounge with a wink. Arvid moved in closer, roughly grabbing her soft-skinned face. He pulled her in for a forceful kiss, feeling the woman's warm breath and rapid heartbeat. She was terrified, and had every right to be so. That was when a woman's voice, one that spoke in his language pierced Arvid's fun. Slowly turning around, the young man was faced with a tall, red haired woman, armor-clad. Did they have shieldmaidens in this land like they did back in Scania? She had soliders. He'd never seen such a sight in the land of the Christians, for they'd never let a woman lead a force, not even go into combat. "Hello there..."

@Sharkiee @DarknessSpirit

Briana watched him as he spoke to her, not understanding a word of if. She let him kiss her, his beard making her face tingle. The kiss was broken by the sudden voice of another woman, she grabbed for her clothes, covering herself up, Briana looked up at the woman, seeing other men behind her, she went red, trying to keep anyone from seeing her body.

Sadime's gray eyes looked to the girl, then the viking. Sadime flicked her sword at the man with her sword, who looked very confused. Sadime spoke in a strong, authoritive voice "What is your business here Viking?" Sadime's blood boiled in anger, how dare they come to this land and control innocent people like this. Sadime paid little mind to the girl, not wanting to embarrass her. Sadime turned to looked at her men, surprised to see only 3 men. She sighed. Two men lost and she hadn't even noticed. Guilt, and sorrow filled her, then anger. She'd returned looking back at the Viking, waiting for an answer. @Sharkiee @John Raptorfist

Arvid raised a brow, picking his round shield up very slowly, watching to see if the solders would make a move. Once he was back up, the Viking rolled his dark blue eyes at the woman. "Oh I don't know, to pick daisies." He said in a sarcastic tone. Even tiny children knew why the Norsemen came to their shores, and that reason was plunder. Just the tone of this woman made Arvid irritated. But if he wanted to live, he'd have to be patient her. "Now go with your gaggle and find somebody else to bother, eh?" He glanced over to the young woman he had kissed only mere minutes earlier with a wink.

@Sharkiee @DarknessSpirit

Briana shuffled back when Arvid looked her way, easing herself off the bed slowly, not to draw attention to herself. She didn't want to get caught up in anymore violence. She slipped her dress back over her shoulders, watching the two talk.

@John Raptorfist @DarknessSpirit

Sadime could tell the man was getting irritated with her, as he picked up his shield, which irritated her more, mixing in with the anger. Sadime, gave off some signal with her hand, and the three soldiers came closer to the Viking, tensed and weapons drawn, they looked well trained from the looks of it. "Can't do that. Things are going to get ugly if you don't leave." Sadime threatened, swallowing. He was much bigger then her, she had a nice, petite body but he was stronger, and bigger.

@John Raptorfist @Sharkiee

"What? How mean of you to not let my friends and I pick daisies here." He said with mock innocence, turning to shovel some candles into a pouch. Who knows, he might be able to use them later. He was genuinely surprised that this woman knew his tounge, but he did best to conceal it. "You know, it's really a shame..." Arvid muttered before spinning around and punching one of the guards in the chin with the metal edge of his shield before sinking his blade into the man's chest. The guard could only let out a gurgle as Arvid placed his foot on his chest in order to pull his sword free from its bloody shealth. But, before he could do so, Arvid was tackled by the second man, sending him toppling to the floor in a brawl. A flying fist caught Arvid first in the jaw, then in the gut, knocking the wind out of him. Arvid simply let out a snarl and headbutted the man, leaving him visibly dazed. Stumbling to his feet, Arvid wiped the warm blood off his face with the quick swipe of his sleeve. He grinned down at the confused guard, blood staining hiss teeth an ugly red. The Norseman grabbed his sword up off the ground and leaned down, holding the guard by his hair and dispatching him with a quick slice to the throat. "That you let all your men do the fighting for you." He spat a glob of blood at the tall woman's feet. "Bitch."

@DarknessSpirit @Sharkiee

Briana couldn't help but blubber, she was terrified. Her hand rested over her mouth as the men were killed, her cheeks wet from her sobbing, but she had a clear passage through, out of her bedroom. She stepped forwards looking down at her husbands body again, she felt she owed the Viking something as a thank you, she looked back at the door, she was unsure.

Hafthor was a very large man, but he was a veteran of dozens of raids and knew how to hold against those who would rather use speed rather than fight like a man, and this lended to him being deceptively nimble for his size. Quickly shifting his stance in a quick pirouette to position his shield between him and the quick little bastard, using the massive flat surface of his shield to block both strikes. Hafthor wasn't stupid however, he knew this man was a hell of a lot quicker than he was and trying to exchange with the man on his terms would just get him stabbed, something he couldn't afford right before a raid.

The oddest thing about all of this was the fact the man seemed to rip off his own face only to reveal another. Of course Hafthor was no fool, he knew exactly what this man was, a demon, sent by the gods to test if he was ready for Valhalla. After all, what mortal man would be capable of changing his appearance in such a way? Using his massive shield Hafthor attempted to slam its flat surface into the man to throw him to the ground with his tremendous strength. If it did not work, Hafthor would simply keep his shield carefully positioned between him and his foe at all times as daggers were not an appropriate weapon for getting around a shield.

@SleepyBuddha

Watching the three guards rush up the stairs to help their mistress Hafthor's men quickly followed. Slamming into the third man who seemed to be holding the door he seemed to be holding his own as the five were not able to combine their strength to overwhelm him in the tiny doorframe. However the pressure of the five men would eventually topple the man if he was left to fend of his viking attackers for too long. It would likely be at this instant that Sadime would realize she was caught between two attackers and would need to either kill Arvid quickly and rally her and her surviving man to help at the door or abandon her men to death while she made some kind of escape.

@DarknessSpirit

Sadime's gaze faltered, the action had all happened so fast, two of her men dead. Sadime grimaced, but her eyes held a blazing vengeance and spirit. She just started calmly walking towards Arvid. "You came unto my home, kill MY men. Kill innocents. And then have the nerve to threaten me?" Sadime's voice was cool, calm, and deadly. Sadime brought her knee straight into Arvid's chest, even for her tiny figure, she had quite the strength. While bringing her knee to his chest, Sadine used her sword with the other hand, slashing at his hip, it was fast, quick, and would definitely hurt, her out her soldier meanwhile, attacked Haftors men.

A bubbling laughter rose in Arvid's chest as she spoke. "By Odin, you really are dull one, aren't you? Of course I have the nerve to threaten you! Your cornered of a staircase for thor's-" The norseman's tirade was soon cut short by a knee to the chest, his diaphram buckling momentarily. But, before he could even recact, a blazing metal blade sliced through his hip, causing the man to falter with a small yelp. His hand clutched the area where the sword had hit him, and he brought it up, Arvid's palm was stained a sickly red. That is when the anger flared up inside him. This random woman had the gall to just causally slice into him like bread. "I wasn't lying, you really are a bitch." Arvid sneered, stepping closer. "I bet your men only stay by you because you let them play with your body. Huh? Is that it?" Arvid teased, clenching his fists.

Argeus had killed many men larger than him even generals of foreign lands and reknown warriors. So when his attack failed and his opponent tried to slam him with the shield Argeus and kicked off the shield dodging the attack and recovering. (Playing smite dry)

Briana knew what she had to do, she ran forwards, knocking Sadime to the floor as she passed, she didn't look back, hopefully her actions were pay back for setting her free from her marriage, even if he wasn't aware of it. She stopped at the door, coming face to face with both soldier and more vikings, the adrenaline keeping her on her toes, she just wanted to get away from all the blood. She weaved between the men, picking her dress up at the front to avoid tripping over it as she ran down the stairs, her hair falling over her face as she ran. Briana looked back up at the top of the stairs, everyone seemed to be busy enough, maybe she could escape.

@John Raptorfist @DarknessSpirit

Sadime actually seemed to beam as he teased her. She sneered back, circling around him. "What's wrong, angry about getting your ass kicked by a woman?" To be honest, Sadime had never been with a man. She was always busy with war, and didn't have time for men, or pleasuring a man, one of her greatest prides was that she never had. She was saving herself of course. Sadime all of a sudden felt herself knocked to the floor, only to see the woman running away. Bitch. That would've been avoidable. She scooted away from the man, reaching for her sword that had fallen from her from her grip.

@Sharkiee @John Raptorfist

Seeing that the man created distance between them by kicking off of his shield Hafthor would begin quickly falling back, knowing that if he went back inside he would hold a very large advantage with the limited space for the demon man to move in. Still keeping his massive shield between him and the face changer Hafthor would quickly step through the front door, moving backwards. That however was when he felt a large mass slam into his back, though not large enough to physically move him. Glancing over his shoulder he could see it was a fire haired woman who seemed to have ran into his back while she was trying to exit the house. Still standing in the doorframe Hafthor would simply grunt at her, nudging his head towards the stairs as if telling her to go back up. He was an imposing, mountainous figure, standing just shy of seven feet tall and built like an ox, truly he was a terrifying sight, like a monster from a childs tale.

@SleepyBuddha

@Sharkiee

The collision with Hafthor had stunned her a little, Briana stood blinking up at the mountain that had come through her front door, her jaw dropped a little at the sight. He motioned for her to return upstairs, she replied with a head shake, stepping backwards towards her table as she did. The table moved slightly as she bumped into it, making her jolt upright, turning to see that the table was there. Briana stared at the man, her eyes pleaing to let her go, she could not speak their language so she could not beg. Her heart felt like it was going to explode, the sudden intake of events made her feel dizzy, she rested herself against the table, still watching the giant man.

@Leusis

When the hulking invader backed away from him Argeus followed ever mindful of his surroundings. When he stopped in the door way of the home Argeus was prepared for a sudden attack so he hung back simply watching his opponent.

@Leusis

Seeing that standing there staring atone another was going to get the both of them no where fast Argeus put away his weapons and simply walked away. He wasn't going inside that building where his movements would be obstructed. He was going to force them out.as he walked away Argeus found a torch that had yet to be extinguished from the night before and took it. Argeus then marched back to the house and looked at the gargantuan of man dead in the eyes before lobbing the torch onto the thatch roofing setting it and the house ablaze. The fire spread quickly, burning up the and the inside as the fiery roof collapsed into the home.

Argeus just stood there and waited knowing that the Vikings weren't just going to stand there and burn to death.

@Sharkiee @Leusis @John Raptorfist @DarknessSpirit

Sadime, still on the floor; reaching for her sword on the ground all of a sudden smelled it smoke, at first it was just a hint, but she could soon hear fire licking up the house in flames. All of a sudden the roof collapsed in on them, Sadime knew if she didn't get out now, she never would. Sadime broke into a fit of coughing as the smoke filled her lungs, her lungs felt like they screaming to get out of there, she was already weakened from the fire. She pulled herself up, using the end of the bed to support her body, which felt as if it was going numb, also knowing Arvid was still there, Sadime made a break for the stairs, using the wall for support at times as she ran for the stairs.
