I'm confused about "Family Role". My understanding is that the characters are criminals who just crash landed and aren't actually related to one another. I understand the need to cooperate for survival, but I'm not understanding the whole "family" thing. Am I just misinterpreting something, or is this more like "Lost in Space"?

Well yes. I guess I just wasn't expecting children to be there or traditional family roles. I totally misinterpreted that. Thanks for clarifying.
