Fantasy Fire Emblem Divide: Quetzal x Pam

It was a boring day in the makeshift infirmary of the decrepit town the 13th Battalion had taken over. At least it was boring for Quetzal. It was the opposite for her patients. Today was anything but boring for them. Some of them lay still in their beds staring at the ceiling as their souls took a trip through the cosmos. Others had been strapped down and muzzled by the witch doctor to prevent them from hurting themselves as they experienced a world of nightmares and horror. Everyone else was asleep. What they all had in common was that their entertainment value decreased significantly after the first hour or so of their trip.

Quetzal got stuck with the job of official doctor because the 13th Battalion did not have many official medics. There was the young vampire girl but her shifts in the infirmary were kept to a tasteful minimum if it could be helped. It was Quetzal herself who had subtly managed to convince the top brass to adopt such a policy. The less time the vampire girl spent here the more time Quetzal would have to experiment with her nefarious elixirs. Now she was regretting it. Fewer people needed treatment than she thought. She had barely scratched the surface of all the new mixtures she wanted to try.

She sat at the makeshift front desk of the infirmary with her jaw in her palm. The expression of boredom was very apparent. Quetzal was becoming so desperately bored she was thinking about praying to her volcanic gods tonight for a plague to strike the entire battalion. She knew this would be a mistake. Once her patients snap out of their trip they would be more interesting than they were before and Quetzal could continue her research. It was the waiting period and the lack of freedom to leave the infirmary that was getting to her. The witch doctor folded her legs and tapped her bare foot under the desk. She let out a heavy sigh.

Something about today's breakfast bothered Pam throughout the day. When she first consumed the meal, her stomach started to feel weird, but the symptoms weren't as noticeable for her to go into the infirmary. Therefore, she treated today normally. She started the day with a light jog, before flight practice with her trusty Pegasus. However, her day's first meal affected her flight performance. During her training, she experienced cramps that caused her to lose focus. There was no doubt now that she had a tummy ache, and it was too bothersome to continue training. As she landed her Pegasus, her stomach growled unusual sounds, "Gurgle. Gurgle. GURGLE." She never underwent such pain before, making her wonder what exactly was in today's breakfast, and whether others were affected by it. After dropping off her Pegasus, she ran straight to the nearest infirmary. She galloped quickly, letting the wind hit her. After all, she couldn't afford to fall sick while on duty.

Entering the infirmary, Pam spotted a rather tall woman wearing unusual attire along with having sharp claws. She gulped and her heart paced rapidly, while she eyed the woman's dangerous claws. Fortunately, the woman's seated position made her seem less threatening to pam. When Pam finally attempted to speak with the woman, her stomach gargled loudly, "Gargle!" She let out a gasp of pain, "Oh." Despite the intense amount of pain, she managed to let out several words, indicating her call for help, "Hi...oh...nurse. I've got a little...agh...big tummy ache." She fell to her knees due to the intense pain.

Pam looked rather ill and more pale than usual. Her stomach's sounds could clearly be heard by anyone nearby. As she was in a rush, she still wore her armored attire from Pegasus Training. The room contained beds, curtains, a front desk, and candles. When Pam entered the infirmary, the time of day was quite late. The candles acted as a guide for Pam to find the location.

Quetzal's eyes moved as someone burst through the door. The woman didn't even jump. Instead a smile curved on her face as she studied the fully armored girl in agony. "Oh my." she commented without any tone of sympathy. Quetzal stood up and towered over the girl on the floor. "Doctor." she corrected her with a purr. She reached down and pulled the girl up to her feet slowly and carefully. Quetzal wrapped an arm around Pam with her claws resting on her shoulder.

Her voice took on a patronizing tone and she cooed, "A tummy ache? We can't have that now can we, my dear?" She slowly helped Pam deeper into her web. Or infirmary. Whatever. "First lets get you out of that pesky armor darling." When they reached a bed Quetzal stood in front of Pam and suggestively told her "Strip for me my dear." You would think she would turn around or something but no she kept her eyes focused directly on Pam.
