  • [div class=containerbox][div class=txtbox][div class=scrollbox]
Names are given to students by the camp counselors, those who have also spent much of their school lives in the Feral Summer as youths. These names are determined after initiation. The camp counselors watch each youth and their behavior very closely during this time to determine the perfect name for each camper. They tend to be based off of the camper's personality, or any quirks or mannerisms that seem to stand out. Oftentimes they're very funny, witty, and formed through puns.

(( when filling out the given name on your character sheet, make sure to give them a quirky name that suits them well, maybe even with a double meaning! ))

weekend activities

  • [div class=containerbox][div class=txtbox][div class=scrollbox]
There is a variety of weekly activities for campers to choose from to spend their midsummer afternoons.

These activities are administered by the camp staff and counselors.

There is only one activity that is absolutely mandatory, and it lasts for at least one week. This is called initiation.

  • [div class=containerbox][div class=txtbox][div class=scrollbox]
During the first week or two of the Feral Summer, an initiation ceremony is held in order to properly sort out which cabin each youth will be sorted into. This event is hosted by the camp staff and counselors, and these are the people who carry out the process of sorting each individual into their rightful cabins.

This process consists of a set of challenges and trials that the campers must endure or power through. Their behavior and actions will be monitored by the staff, who will then determine not only housings, but also given names with the information they gather through these trials. The more campers the camp receives each year will determine how long the initiation process will take.
