Bold, brave and confident - Fiona is a natural driven force, a realist, calculated, critical and fueled by her desires for world peace and happiness for all. As an Ambivert she enjoys her alone time but knows how to talk to the right people; although a natural born leader, she often won’t take on the responsibility until she deems everyone else incapable. She can often go without food or sleep and not realize it till someone expresses concern; she pushes herself hard, and that’s a trait that has been adopted by her Pokémon as well, who don’t seem to understand limitations. When she gets started on a project she intends to finish. She does have a terribly tendency to take on battles that are much bigger than herself and her team and her mates seem just as eager - the wild area is a challenging playground of “how far can I push this before I have to retreat”. She has the utmost faith in her team and her ability to make a reasonable decision, despite wanting to dominate quickly and often. She appreciates passion and can be very encouraging in others endeavors, she’ll probably be your most supportive friend while also making sure you don’t get yourself killed while you’re wondering how she’s even alive at this point ???

brief background -

Fiona’s passion has a few sources of inspiration. She grew up watching Professor Samuel Oaks “Anyone can change the world” themed series for kids, which inspired a deep seated resolve to keep the world as lovely and kind as when he himself was a trainer. And then, there’s her families pure lack accomplishments; her father left early to live as an on-site fisherman and never returned, and her mother was a small scale artist that never put her talents to the test. Fiona wanted more, for herself and for others. She wanted a name outside of her past, and to be known for making positive world changes that encourage others to live to their fullest potential and make more impact in their lives.

Taking it upon herself she spent a couple years as a top student in a trainers academy; her greatest skill was strategy, but her teachers worried her desire to dominate undermined how strategic she could be. There was a lot of “center yourself young warrior” moments, but even today Fiona still has that burning flame in her iris when the battles get heated. She took on an advised “too many” extracurricular activities, from photography to interior motivation design and encouraging the student body, all until she developed an illness that was later diagnosed as pure exhaustion and she had to take a break from everything for a while, which really bored her and allowing herself to rest was incredibly hard. As soon as she was discharged, she was out and about again and applying for her trainers license.

This young brunette has an interesting variation of tactics, but seems to prefer an aesthetic appeal (if she can) and not just brute force; she likes to mix her teammates moves for overwhelming outcomes that just barely graze the battle policies currently in place. She’s also about a balance of restoration and status ailment, usually letting the opponent take out themselves with little work from her own team. Typically by the end of her duels her team has as much as health as when they started.

Her inspirations for becoming champion come from a few familiar figures in this universe: Cynthia, for her mastery attitude, and prior champion Blue Oak, who took defeat like a true champ and went on to make his name still. Leon’s attitude of focus and maintaining a safe world for all, and also Steven Stones “Stone like” resilience and natural love to maintain world peace. These are the people she believes she belongs with; and she does intend to get there.

Ferris is her go to battle partner. he has an excruciating strategy of healing and draining, and loves to take brute hits and retaliate with only his natural thorns. outside of battle, he sleeps, and has been known to cause others to trip over his slightly obscured thorny figure.

lottie is a little snooping mix of moods, typically introverted but occasionally curious enough to acknowledge a stranger. pays no mind to her general weird behavior, and is known to steal anything that shines - from a nice rock to someone’s jewelry. she finds other people’s loss in battles and also their frustration for her theft very funny.

With parents in artistic careers, Clovis was pushed to such a future from a young age. Her knack for cooking has led to her gap year before pursuing culinary school, which she uses to learn more about food itself. Though her mind may be better suited for the sciences, it simply was not encouraged enough in her childhood for it to have made an impact.

biography ⋉

Born to a fashion designer and a freelance writer, Clovis was surrounded by creativity. Though they often moved, she did her best to pick up regional practices whenever they stayed for long enough.
⋄ Unlike her parents, however, she didn't have an eye for the arts. Music came to her by following instructions, but she failed horribly in art and writing. Theatre she was alright with, but she never did learn how to slip into character.
⋄ With maths and the sciences, Clovis hard a different issue. Though her mind was sharp and her memory near perfect, her eyes glazed over during lectures and over textbooks. Her mind excelled in spatial awareness and puzzle-solving, but fell behind in pattern recognition and reading through information for inaccuracies.
⋄ In another life, perhaps, Clovis could have worked in coding. Sadly though her parents didn’t give her much time for extracurriculars of her own choosing- her “free time” was filled with life skill lessons. Sewing, cooking, and house-keeping made up the majority of the lessons, though with the sheer amount of time her father forced her to spend learning fashion, perhaps it was simply an excuse.
⋄ Her sewing and home keeping were textbook perfect; another display of her ability to follow instructions perfectly. Her fashion sense was in no way runway, nor could she design for her life. Nonetheless, it passed and was better than could be said for many her age.
⋄ Cooking, however, was an entirely different matter. It reminded her of both chemistry and fashion. The former due to the reactions of different ingredients; the latter due to the careful combinations of flavors to achieve a desired result. Baking was easy, though not as enjoyable as creating a meal. Particularly those that could be recycled into other dishes.
⋄ Though not the end goal, Clovis's next important step is culinary school. Her gap year is currently being used to learn about the different things that contribute to a dish's status as good, along with how to use different ingredients and flavors to her advantage. It took some time, but she convinced her parents to allow her a gap year- or possibly two. Regardless, she left on her journey to the Wild Area with nobody but her partner Pokémon, Narwhal.
⋄ On her path to the Wild Area, Clovis met Charis. A shiny Nickit at the time, they quickly bonded over berries- which were in abundance once the destination was reached. Camp was set up, Narwhal and Charis gain some levels- with the latter evolving- and Clovis had a generally uneventful stay in the reserve. She hopes that life will continue in such a way for the coming years, at least, until she enters culinary school.

morgan may seem like an enigma with how perpetually calm and tired he appears, but he describes himself as 'straightforward' and 'easy to read.' he may seem aloof with a knack for analytical thinking, but a second inspection of his character yields someone who is anything but. it's true that humor rarely elicits a laugh from him, though he isn't entirely devoid of joy as some have come to believe; spotting a jar of cookies and coffee, for example, gives him an excuse to smile, and he emotes through his facial expression more often than not. he has an unparalleled sense of loyalty to those he comes to care for and is much more passionate about his work than even he gives himself credit for with a thirst for knowledge he can't seem to quite quench. he oftentimes expresses his affection through subtle acts and remarks and sees the good in others first and foremost (although he likes to state otherwise). additionally, he openly embraces it when his skepticism is breached and is much more considerate than he presents himself as, as he cares deeply for his companions, both people and pokemon alike. long story short, even though he's presented as a cool-headed individual, he's tired and dumb and full of love - even more so than he himself realizes.

morgan's stoic personality may have surfaced when he was subjected to team galatic's research years ago through his parents, a powerful duo of scientists who would do anything to keep their family of four safe. he gave up pursuing battles, something he became known for excelling at the time, after the team disbanded and began to follow the path of research through the brief but lasting aid of professor rowan. ever since then, he has refused to fight anything or anyone and keeps his distance from it. perhaps it's because of his fear of engaging in a battle, but he has so many repels on him that it takes up almost half of the space in his bag. he's rather bashful of his former connection with team galactic so he doesn't open up about his history all too much even when he's prompted to. what he will open up about, however, is his hope to become a professor who is able to help others in the future.

brief personality - Reagan loves to be the centre of attention. After a few years of garnering attention, she's naturally come to crave it. She's a proud soul, though, to the point of her being boastful in her past and current achievements. If Reagan loses anything competitively, she'll often come off as a sore loser and it isn't difficult to spot the disdain or frustration in her if she does lose. Though, this comes from her association of losing with failure. If there's anything positive to be found in Reagan, it's that she works herself and her team hard, and is at least determined to see her goals through.

brief background - Before coming to Galar, Reagan had been participating in Contests as a Coordinator for two years, originally to gain favour and initiate contact again with her estranged mother after her parents' nasty divorce. She grew to love the attention from audiences of the contests (of which she rarely received during the divorce), though, found it hadn't been enough to grab the attention of her mother. She soon took interest in the televised Gym Challenge in Galar, events that participants gained widespread and often positive attention in. It was then Reagan suddenly announced her 'break' from Coordinating to pursue the Gym Challenge in Galar. Many believed it was a simply career change - where for Reagan, it was so much more than that.

  Arthur is a man with whom you would be able to place your complete trust with, someone who once a solid friendship has been established, would be willing to lay his life down for you, provided he feels that you would do the same for him. Someone who works with his heart on his chest, Arthur seeks to re-establish an almost familial bond with those he deems close to him, striving to achieve this 'home like' feeling that he never really had with his family. Race, Color, Gender, Arthur cares little for the trivial aspects of a person and instead bases his relationships down towards those he spends time with and those who he feels he knows more in depth.
  
  Possessing a 'devil-may-care' attitude to life and a wild recklessness nurtured through his youth, Arthur is unafraid to gamble and take a risk. He is confident in his abilities and thus jumps into the fray recklessly despite there being a safer albeit longer alternative to tackling the situation, This reckless nature of his extends into his daily life, i.e. barging into a fight he had no involvement in just because he can or expressing his feelings towards another despite the situation being unfavourable. Arthur does to an extent go beyond 'flirting' with the opposite gender, though choosing to do so more for his own amusement. Whilst willing to push the boundaries with what he can get away with, Arthur would never take that 'extra' step forward, not unless he truly harboured feelings for that person.
  
  A negative habit of his is that, Arthur tends to play the facade that everything is okay, putting on a happy and friendly appearance when in public yet in reality he could be feeling quite the opposite, in this regard he could best be described as a coin; having two completely different sides to himself. For the most part he likes to play the fool, make jokes, be the butt of jokes and even tease the girl he fancies. While he is the type who would keep your secret to the grave and have your back in a life or death situation, he is also the type who would sell you out for a quick joke and a few laughs. Gregarious by nature, a trait he most likely inherited from his parents, Arthur relishes being in a high-spirited social gathering. While his contribution to the gathering may in fact be minuscule if not non-existent, he simply enjoys the warmth and company provided by those he cherishes.
  
  The fact that he has to wear a 'mask' and play the facade also means that he is the type who keeps his negative feelings bottled up. Not really one to talk to others about his problems, he lets the negative emotions fester and swell within himself, thus he will sometimes explode and be overly angry about the smallest of matters. During these situations of frustration and stress, he tends to seclude himself from the outside world, choosing to drown himself in loud music so as to ignore everyone else, or simply isolating himself from others.
  
  He doesn't find it too difficult to make new friends, however he isn't going to over exert himself to befriend someone whose personality clashes with his. If overtime, those clashing personalities do relent and they can come to an understanding, he is more then willing to let bygones be bygones. He would prefer to have more friends than enemies thus he tries his best at finding a common ground between himself and another and use that as a foundation to grow the relationship. Should a falling out occur and Arthur strongly feels that he is in the right, he can hold a grudge for several days and give the cold shoulder but will usually crumble afterwards and apologise for being an idiot.
  
  Like his ancestors; Knights of the old Order, Arthur seeks to maintain the Honorable image that they represent, thus he is considered to be quite chivalrous towards his opponents and will seldom do anything to taint the honour and sanctity of a fair battle. He believes that respect must be earned through hard work, rather than being expected due to his position; the son of an Elite Four member.     Arthur's most trustworthy companion, Lancelot or more affectionately known as Lansel is the first pokemon that the budding steel type trainer had owned.   Arthur P. Frey, grandson to the infamous Wikstrom of the Kalos Elite four and heir apparent to the legacy he has established as a passionate yet chivalrous Duke of the Battle Chateua and Knight of the Kalos League. A man steeped in the tradition of old, Wikstrom for many years had adorned himself in the family armor as he took to the field of pokemon battle, his Steel companions by his side during every step of the way.
  
  Unlike his father who failed to inherit the desire for battle, Arthur from a very young age was enamoured with his grandfathers stories, the exaggerated tales of glory and honor resonating with the young boy; his childish dream to be a Knight clad in armor.Since finding a photo of Wikstrom alongside the Steel legends Zamazenta and Zacian, Arthur has idolised his grandfather and acknowledged his strength and as such Arthur resolved to follow in his path and take up the mantle of being a 'Steel Type' Specialist; his first pokemon being the Sword Pokemon Honedge.
  
  Instructed in the ways of the Sword as both a means of learning discipline as well as deepening the bond with his Honedge. Arthur was raised mainly by Wikstrom; brought up to represent everything that a Knight should be and more, to carry on their family heritage as a proud descendent of a long line of Knights and to maintain the sanctity of pokemon battles amidst the chaos brought upon by those seeking to accomplish nefarious deeds through the exploitation of pokemon.
  
  To Arthur, his grandfather Wikstrom is another rival towards his goal. Arthur seeks to test his metal as a Steel type specialist and in the future hopes to do battle with all the notable steel gym leaders and league members across the world; with Wikstrom being his ultimate goal. . Without a doubt, Arthur views his grandfather as being at the pinnacle of Steel type trainers and thus seeks to surpass him as both a trainer and Knight, to not only take over his position as a member of the Kalos Elite four, but to do the one thing Wikstrom could not; stand at the top of the league as the reigning Champion. Before that however, Arthur wants to fight Wikstrom's strongest team; a team inclusive of the Legendary Sword and Shield of Galar.
  
  Presently though he travels the regions in order to form a Steel team of his own.

Team Force, they’re known for mirroring the tactics of groups before them with a loud movement and pushing trainers into a corner — the issue is, their alleged message had started to gain them a following, and now there’s a bit of political unrest within Galar. They believe Pokémon teams and employment are unethical and thus demand the freeing of all Pokémon regardless of the threat of wilderness vs domestic partners.

Their leader is a man who acts as a mediator, but is actually very aggressive and manipulative in his tactics for ‘constitutional’ revision. Meet Dr. Zed.

His spirited daughter, follows her heart as well as her fathers words, and aims to change the world but with the idea that she has the right to decide for others what’s best. Meet Alice.

Her brother is an undecided neutral, but seems to follow what they’re doing albeit with a little less enthusiasm. He’s still figuring out what he thinks, honestly he’s still figuring out this world and everything it has — but animal rights are still a big motivator for him. Meet Logan.

Followed by these three are some faithful followers, along with the gradually forming fan base of hardcore animal rights activists nd general hell raisers, Team FORCE. These followers of theirs will not hesitate to remind of you of their cause, be it by blocking entrances, tearing down architecture, or causing other big and potentially hazardous scenes all the while attacking those with opposite opinions and attempting to break poke balls to free Pokémon and prove they’d rather be free than captive.
