3. Space citizen - You've come from the stars. Perhaps you've never had to worry about a thing and this dirthole is just a small mistake on your voyage. Or perhaps you are a retired soldier, looking for some rest. [confirm this one in ooc with me first]

If you pick one of the latter two make sure there are similar characters for you to interact with when the roleplay starts. Switch out the device part of the cs to work, writing sample or just remove it.

Avoid using faceclaims of real people from social networks. It scares normies, you madlads.

  Roue is a deadpan bully who tries hard to never be surprised by anything. At night she takes great care to make sure nobody sees her climbing onto the rooftop to stargaze.

  Personality:
  
  Despite the know-it-all image she tries to maintain, Roue is a much friendlier person than she seems at first. She will often try to help out those in need, but probably won't go out of her way if the person in trouble does not ask for it.
  
  Goal: Become an aircraft pilot? Maybe even a spaceship pilot?
  Obstacle: An aircraft pilot is a rare job that requires years of education and is generally only available in the capital. Being a spaceship pilot is even further out there, as it is only something a space citizen can do.
  
  Capabilities:
  
  • - A decent driver. Old man Bohrium would often ask her to run errands for him on his old truck, and sometimes even lets her take it for a ride... Provided he is in a good enough mood.
  • - Usually carries around a fist-sized hand held TV. Likes to watch the news about the latest exploits of war heroes and rather over magnified movies about them. The transmission from Skyhook gives a pretty inconsistent signal but it is best you can get here.

  Current situation:
  
  Lives at the edge of town near the local gas station, where she spends most of her time. She helps out old man Bohrium to run the station although clients are pretty rare.
  
  Roue lives with her parents and two younger brothers. They are an unapologetically wholesome family, to the extent that she is embarrassed by some of her parents' more intense shenanigans.
  
  Her dad operates heavy machinery at one of the large state farms about half an hour away from the town. When Roue was still a kid he used to often bring her along to work and even let her drive a harvester.
  
  Her mom spends most of her time in town, looking after the children and keeping up the family garden. She grows a variety of quality of life plants some of which she is uses in cooking or shares with neighbors.
  
  Backstory:
  
  In most outposts, Dunnell town being no exception, children go to school for eight grades and are expected to start working around the age of fifteen. It is not seen as something terribly useful, but hey, everyone and their grandmother had to go through school so it must be good for the kids.
  
  Roue did really well in her studies and by the time she was approaching the end of middle school, her homeroom teacher offered to talk with his colleague under the Skyhook to let her continue her studies in the capital.
  
  Although it meant Roue would have to spend a few years away from the town, if she did well enough she could have moved on to get higher education. Maybe even land a job there. Even becoming an aircraft pilot was not entirely out question.
  
  Yet after some consideration her parents had to refuse. They gave a number of reasons, chief one being that it was still to early for her to move out on her own. Roue didn't want to accept it at first but seemed to calm down when her dad said she can do as she pleases once she grows up.
  
  Within a few years it gradually became clear that the opportunity was forever lost. The teacher moved out of town, and the capital was not exactly in high demand of teenagers who haven't gone through high school.
  
  While Roue does not hold contempt for her parents, she sees them as shortsighted and is a bit ashamed of their provincial way of life. Old cars and trucks may not be air crafts, but working around them seem to be at least a little bit cooler than going to a state farm.

  What is it:
  
  A three meter (10ft) tall robot painted in shades of red and white. It spends most of the time hunched over, two sharp fins pointing upwards from its back.
  
  What can it do:
  
  It is an autonomous robot possessing rudimentary intellect, that was originally supposed to obey the commands of the person recognized as its owner. Its AI is flawed, however, so instead it acts as it pleases.
  
  Needs biological matter or fuel to operate. These however will only keep it running at it the lowest output. Better energy sources are not available on this planet.
  
  
  • - Powerful limbs, able to throw a car or run straight through a building. However, output is highly dependent on the quality of energy it was supplied with.
  • - Has a number of boosters on its body, presumably for extra maneuverability. It cannot however use them due to high energy requirements.
  • - May actually be an exoskeleton, but there is no way to tell for sure. It always remains closed and acts as a robot.
  Limits:
  
  • - Unable to talk and very temperamental. Not very intelligent, especially when presented with complex commands.
  • - Awkward and clunky. Delicate tasks will have it breaking things.

  Name: Briyce (pronounced: Bry-cee)

  Briyce is a simple guy who has complex ideas, but unlucky for him he can't clearly get his points across to others. If you met an acquaintance of his and asked them to tell one thing about Briyce, they'd tell you "He's just a guy who's obsessed with what it is to be cool in the past." which isn't entirely a lie.

  Personality: His bizarre nature is weird if you don't know his motives, the constant talk about history to the point it seems obsessive can throw one off but for Briyce, it's just a coping mechanism. Really Briyce is just a curious teenager. He can seem reluctant and offset at first but eventually, when he warms up to a person, he'll show his enthusiastic desire.
  
  Goal: His realistic goal is to be a historian, and to teach younger generations about events in the far past, or at least what is speculated of them. His dream is to one day live in the past earth world. (He wouldn't up and tell you this, but Briyce hopes to wake up from a dream and be in the past)
  Obstacle: He doesn't have the proper education to do so.
  
  Capabilities:
  He can tell you things that happened from the history of the world but isn't entirely sure of how they played out.
  
  Briyce can identify many types of metal, polished war machines, etc.
  
  One of his specialties is cooking large feasts.
  
  He's a tinkerer and makes his own inventions.

  Current situation:
  His living situation is built around working for his mother's farm, chasing away wild animals, keeping carbohydrates in order, basically being a guard dog to the farm. He isn't a big fan of it, but it's nothing to complain about.
  
  Backstory:
  "Growing in a farm isn't for the history-loving. But no one needs to know." Is what Briyce's father would always tell him before he read the stories of the earth in the past.
  
  Briyce was always read a story, every night, about how the world use to be. His father would read about the past to his son with such passion, it sounded like a fairytale. The earth used to have water that poured down from the sky, simpler technologies, unmarked territories. An unsafe world where anything could happen, but it was your choice to make, and Briyce loved it.
  
  When Briyce's father passed away, he was stuck with his fieldwork, it wasn't easy to cope with but everyone managed. Briyce read about the history of old earth to remember his father by and became so fascinated that he consumed himself in it.
  
  The people of history were allowed to roam the earth freely so he roamed. They were allowed to choose there own clothes so he dressed like them. He even considered going by the old laws but that idea was quickly ruled out by his mother. The boy became so consumed in the life of what he couldn't experience that he even started to copy their technology to experience it.
  
  He was good with history but that was about it when it came to booking smarts since he didn't attend a school like most children. Even if he wanted to he couldn't because he was guarding crops 24/7 since there wasn't anyone else who would. Even so, he's content with modern life, apart from his obsession with the past.

  What is it:
  A powerful gun, resembling a pistol caliber (from what I researched I'm not entirely sure), supercharged with a fluorescent liquid. Either form measures up to about 2 and 1/2 feet in length, and he has to haul it over his shoulder to hold it up properly enough to aim.
  
  What can it do: It can transform into 2 different forms, but the gun had been shut off for so long that it either malfunctions, overheats, or fires without the trigger having been pulled. It's also able to generate power while it shut off.
  
  Limits: It can't be turned off after long periods of time of being activated, and instead has to shut off by itself using up all its power. It can also overheat.

  Phoenix is a bitter philosopher with a soft soul. His sharp wit and academic intelligence conceal a deep-set sense of cosmic boredom and frustration with the world.

  Personality: Phoenix is one of those unlucky people with a big-city soul who just happens to be born in a small town. He has a lot of ambition and big ideas and nowhere to put it all. Because of this, Phoenix harbors an intense frustration and carefully-hidden bitterness towards the world. He often feels like he has no purpose and wonders if anything has meaning. Phoenix is hard to impress and can come off as being cold, but he's really just deeply disinterested and unsatisfied with the little joys of small-town life. Phoenix has a secret love of music and theatre, something that he keeps close to his heart, guarded. He has a beautiful singing voice and spent some of his many endless small-town summer hours teaching himself piano. Perhaps he could be a performer, but he feels that it isn't sustainable and he grapples with his own tendency of being a dreamer. He loves philosophy, discussing the universe and its mysteries, and, somewhat surprisingly, animals. He is lonely almost by nature, starved for intellectual equals.
  
  Goal: Phoenix desperately wants to feel like he is doing something meaningful, like there is some sense of order or inherent meaning to the universe. On a tangible scale, this would mean becoming a galactic politician.
  
  Obstacle: Although he has abundant intelligence and a thoughtful nature, Phoenix's small town prevents him from utilizing either of these. He comes from a family of mechanics and is expected to inherit the family business, which he resents.
  
  Capabilities:
  - Public speaking/debate skills. Can usually charm a crowd or hold attention if he wants to
  - Diligent student, academic-oriented brain
  - Gorgeous singer and competent pianist
  - Basic understanding of spaceship/airship mechanics and repair, but doesn't like to get his hands dirty

  Current situation:
  Phoenix is an only child and lives with his parents. His family owns and operates a repair shop for spaceships and similar aircraft. While it's nothing revolutionary, it's one of the only wayposts for such repairs in an otherwise rural area, so they get enough business to keep themselves afloat and keep the shop running. Phoenix is supposed to inherit the business sometime in the next fifteen years and isn't happy about it. Phoenix loves his parents, but he feels trapped by the expectation that he will live his life fixing busted spaceships for people who actually get to make a difference in the world. His closest confidant is Augustine, his black cat.
  
  Backstory:
  Phoenix is by no means an introvert, but he keeps a large part of himself closed off as a defense mechanism. This is partially because he's an only child, so was naturally somewhat isolated growing up. Phoenix always seemed older than he was, mentally, questioning anything and everything, bored with the world too quickly for someone so young. He grew from a curious, thoughtful child into a sullen existentialist of a teenager. Although he tried to dodge as much mechanical work as he could growing up, he still got roped into fetching parts and sliding into narrow gaps under spacecrafts to replace them, so he has more knowledge of machinery than he'd like. His parents are kind, but somewhat checked out, detached from his inner life. Phoenix loves them, but doesn't really think of them as authority figures. The thought of one day taking over the family business weighs heavily on him, so he stays out of the house as much as possible. Phoenix, accompanied by his cat, Augustine, can often be seen selling scrap metal, leftover spaceship parts and bits of machinery to locals and their businesses. It's technically something to do with engineering, so his parents are fine with it. Phoenix drives a hard bargain, but he has a very photogenic cat and a knack for convincing people that his prices were their idea.

  What is it: An illusion generator. The little device resembles a diamond-cut, clear crystal about the size of a fist, but much lighter.
  
  What can it do: The device, when held, can generate perfectly realistic illusions at the holder's discretion. This includes objects, animals, substances (water, fire, etc), and sometimes people. The device works better the more clearly the holder is picturing the intended illusion.
  
  Limits: The device sometimes reacts poorly for certain users, refusing to work for specific people or twisting their desired illusions into strange iterations of what they were supposed to be. The device must be held in one's hand to function and is more effective when held with two hands, or held to the user's lips. It also has a hard time with people because most users lack the level of concentration and imagination to accurately coerce the crystal into depicting a person clearly for any extended period of time. Additionally, all illusions that the device creates are devoid of sound. People cannot talk, animals cannot make noise, fire doesn't crackle. The device is unable to generate sound.

  Name: Julien Constantine
  Gender: Male
  Age: 17
  
  Apprentice physician at the local clinic. Julien works with patients primarily helping to treat the residual effects of biofuel production in the town. His father died from a lung infection due to biofuel exposure at his distillery and Julien was raised and trained by Maria Harvent, the local Doctor and head of the clinic. Though not having officially studied medicine at a state university, the practice of training under the current local physician as an apprentice is common in remote towns, as the vast majority of state doctors are practicing in large cities and in large hospitals. Also has a "small" amphetamine problem.
  
  
• 
  
  Personality: Julien is somewhat reserved and distant in his interactions with other townspeople, though happy to help with any medical issues they may have. In conversation he has a habit of acting obsessive about his work, filling his language with far too much technical jargon to be easily understood. His amphetamine abuse leads him to be twitchy and spontaneous as well, occasionally switching topics and going on large tangents mid-conversation. Despite this, he is extremely knowledgeable about pharmaceuticals and human biology and is more than willing to share his knowledge with anyone who wants to know. When pried about his personal feelings or doings however, he is prone to pathological lying, fabrication and diversion. Though ultimately a kind soul, his over-obsession with his medical work and side projects can often cloud his judgement and make him difficult to work with.
  
  Goal: Julien has been obsessively trying to research a cure or effective treatment to counteract the effects of biofuel production on the human body. Ultimately though, he despises the town's need to produce it in the first place and wishes the practice would be abolished all together.
  Obstacle: Limited equipment at the town clinic and Julien's own addictive personality both impede any real progress on his research.
  
  Capabilities:
  - Apprentice Physician: Has a large degree of medical and pharmaceutical knowledge, though has not mastered the practice yet, so there are still some gaps
  - Link to Skyhook: Every month a truck arrives from Skyhook with medical supplies. Julien is good friends with the driver Dimitri, and Dimitri also supplies him with recreational drugs.
  
  
  
• 
  Current situation:
  Julien lives next to the clinic where he works with his adoptive mother, Doctor Maria Harvent. Dr. Harvent is currently mentoring him in the medical practice so he can take over the clinic when she gets too old for it. He does not mind living in a small town for the most part, though he does with he had better equipment with which to conduct his research on biofuel poisoning.

  What is it: Physical Enhancement Serum
  
  What can it do: If injected into the bloodstream, allows the user to ignore limitations such as pain, tiring, lactic acid buildup and fatigue, enabling them to outperform their normal physical capabilities.
  
  Limits: Does not actually increase the physical attributes of the user or prevent injury, only allows them to ignore the effects. After it wears off, the user will experience the full effects of their actions.

  Name: Lainesy McClellan
  Gender: Female
  Age: 16
  
  Despite being excessively smart for her age, Lainesy is practically synonymous with the word 'pushover'. Constantly radiating doubt and shame, her vast array of knowledge seems to do nothing to keep her from making herself an easy person to overcome.
  
  
• 
  
  Personality: Lainesy constantly feels ashamed of herself for some reason or another, a habit cultivated over years of feeling inadequate. She was too weak to follow in her parents footsteps, something she's never lived down to this day, yet when her intelligence seemed to be able to allow her to help it led her to be the first McClellan in generations to be unofficially removed from their business. Mixed with her desire to help her family, these downfalls have made her nearly incapable of thinking highly of herself. She'll keep quiet for the most part, unwilling to risk getting into an altercation over something.
  
  She was never a confrontational person, even as a youth she mostly allowed herself to be led from activity to activity by others. As such she's prone to taking the words of others to heart, both good or bad. The only exception to this being compliments, as she's grown accustomed to the idea of her own fallibility. Because of this, she's become prone to apologizing often. Even if something wasn't necessarily her fault, she'll often consider herself a contributor to its occurrence somehow. This has led to many of her issues working around the town, as she's terrified when forced to adapt, placing the orders of others above her in the moment reactions. She's panicked many times when forced to think on her feet, which will often lead to more rounds of apologizing. Lainesy's abysmal lack of charisma has been cited as being a black-hole of negativity, often leading to employers asking her to just be quiet instead of having to put up with her constant apologies. It's a request Lainesy is often happy to fulfill, as less talking means less chances for her to say something wrong.
  
  Despite her lack of confidence in almost every category, Lainesy has gained information critical to the benefit of her family. It's not a position that's done her any favors, as clashing with McClellan's management division has only heightened her already ridiculous levels of self doubt. Despite being told off for her discoveries, Lainesy is incapable of overwriting her own memory. So even if she puts up with something she knows is wrong, she'll never be able to outright ignore the fact. She occasionally tries talking to those working under the McClellan name, but rumors of her involvement with certain events have given her a somewhat bad name among the local Bio-fuel Industry. And due to her inability to stand up against nearly anyone in an argument, Lainesy's been trapped in a cycle of conceding for years.
  
  
  Goal: Convince her family to rework their business model and practices, before they all get sued, injured or both.
  Obstacles: Her increasingly vile self-esteem issues/ push back from McClellan management.
  
  Capabilities:
  Lainesy's got an exceptionally good memory, coupled with her knack for comprehension, she's very good at learning new things quickly. Because of this she's accumulated near encyclopedic knowledge about the Biofuel industry, including certain things about Biology and business.

  Current situation:
  Though she lives with her parents, Lainesy doesn't spend much time with them. As laborers, her parents spend much of their time working at the family-owned, Biofuel factory which is quite a distance from town. They only come home to rest, and Lainesy wouldn't want to interrupt their few moments of rest, so their interaction is on the limited side. Despite this, Lainesy loves her family deeply and constantly hates how little she's actually contributed because of her lesser attributes.
  
  Under recommendation from her parents, Lainesy's been trying hard to find a career beyond her family, and has been spending most of her time working under different local businesses as a volunteer/intern. Despite her raw intellect making her capable of serving some purpose in most ventures, her unparalleled lack of self-confidence often gets her turned away eventually.
  
  She's also got quite a stigma in relation to the local bio-fuel industry due to rumors spreading about why she was distanced from the company.
  
  Backstory:
  The McClellans are descendants of one of the first tycoons to vitalize Dunnel's Bio-fuel industry. Having followed the original formula for generations, their factory and output has stayed consistently lucrative for them for the most part. Every single member of their extensive family tree has worked in the Bio-fuel industry, ranging from management down to manual labor. Born to two laborers, concern for Lainesy came immediately from her frail appearance alone. Realizing a body like hers would never be able to work in labor, she was often cared for by relatives in Management, being brought up on business practices she'd need to fit into a nice desk job. It was during this time, however, that Management realized that Lainesy had a knack for picking up new things quickly, she was already helping them by the time she'd fully developed proper speech patterns. Her near perfect memory made it easy for her to memorize and replicate techniques, a fact that was not lost on Uncle Maise. Maise was the current head of the family business, and saw this young prodigy as an exceptionally profitable business venture if they could utilize her properly. Namely, cutting out the taxing expense of hiring Genetic engineers for the cultivation of their initial stock of plants. Figuring the end result was the only thing that mattered, Maise coerced their current head of Genetics to pass off as much knowledge as he could to Lainesy.
  
  Whatever he was paid with, it made Alphonse Tulong more than supportive. Lainesy would be his protege for the next few years, learning things about biology and how to alter its development. But as she learned, Lainesy eventually came to a revelation that she was never supposed to have come across. With her horizons broadened, Lainesy discovered that the McClellan Bio-fuel and its subsidiaries were rife with dangerous practices all aimed at maximizing output. Everything to their long-standing formula seemed to ignore provisions put in place by companies in other places just to maintain their profit margins. While it maintained itself and its beneficiaries, the level of risks working under the McClellan name was several times higher than anywhere else.
  
  Fearing for her relatives, many of which working in the direct line of fire for most of these hazards, Lainesy was quick to bring up every one of these concerns to Uncle Maise and several other key members of management. Initially enthusiastic for his investment to pay off so soon, Maise and his team were taken aback by the scale of reworking that Lainesy labeled as 'necessary.' Perhaps not realizing the extent of what she was asking, Lainesy was completely unprepared for the push back from Management. Assuming they'd go along with it just by nature of removing workplace hazards, Lainesy hadn't prepared to argue with anyone. Never one for confrontation, Lainesy withered immediately. Not one to raise her voice, she was promptly disregarded, and her tutelage under Tulong was discontinued.
  
  Threatened by her knowledge of their less than stellar practices, Maise was pressured by Management into having her assistance directed far away from their factories. As such, Lainesy spent the next few years putting what biological teachings she did receive into taking care of plants. Having become an unofficial 'volunteer' worker for farms associated with the McClellan factories, Lainesy has had more than enough time to stew over her inabilities. With many of her relatives believing her reassignment was due to a workplace malfunction she had been looking into. Spurned by Management and under suspicions from her other relatives, Lainesy's been trying and failing to convince herself to try fixing things... to less than stellar results. Seeing the stress caused by relations with the family business, Lainesy's parents have encouraged her to seek her future elsewhere. As such, Lainesy's moved on to interning at various stores and businesses around Dunnel, some working out better than others.
  
  
• 
  What is it: The Optima-A.I housed within a floating ball.
  
  What can it do: Optima is capable of telepathically re-configuring any type of technology it scans. Optima is capable of scanning machinery within three yards and attempting to repair it while optimizing its efficiency. It can float about three feet off of surfaces, but will not repel attempts to restrain it until it deems something a threat to its inner workings.
  
  Limits: Optima immediately assumes a machine is capable of running at full efficiency with the resources available, and will often make whatever its optimizing tear itself apart under the strain of maximum output. Optima often needs to be corralled lest it turn every bit of machinery around it into a veritable ticking time bomb waiting to damage anything around it.

• Name: Charley Collins / Cathair (pronounced KA-here) Mackirdy
  Gender: male
  Age: 37
  
  As far as anyone in Dunnell is concerned, Charley Collins is the strange drifter who blew in some ten years ago and wound up in a scrap yard. He's nice enough, but not real friendly, you know?
  
  What they don't know is that Wing Commander Cathair Mackirdy is in Dunnell on assignment. Two assignments, really: the first and primary, to serve as a liaison for the aircraft testing facility hidden some hundred miles northwest, in a canyon once part of an ancient ocean. The second is to see if there's any truths to rumors of old bunkers in the area, and what might be there...
  
  And that's not even touching what he gets up to in his off hours.
• Personality: Once upon a time, back in what Cathair would call his glory days, he was the poster boy for a space pilot: charismatic, arrogant, reckless. After being grounded, he's begun to stew. Cathair resents that doing his job, and doing it well, lead to his injuries and his ban from piloting. He's quieter now, has learned the value of the long con and biding his time. Under it all, he's still the same flashy asshole, but there's a layer of moody armor on top of it now.
  
  Goal: To get back into the cockpit.
  
  Obstacle: The entire air force, a team of doctors, and his own body would rather he didn't. He also needs a ship.
  
  Capabilities:
  •Ace pilot, of both low atmo and spacefaring craft

• Current situation:
  As Charley Collins, Cathair lives about fifteen miles north of Dunnell town in a mobile home in a junkyard. It's possibly the least glamorous place he's ever lived (counting multiple bases), but it's his, and it's grown on him.
  
  Backstory:
  Born to a pair of financial workers in the heart of the galactic capitol, Cathair's parents had dreams of pushing him on into politics. He had other ideas, and enlisted on his eighteenth birthday. He spent several years working his way up the chain of the air force, serving as both a test and combat pilot.
  
  The beginning of the end was the experimental bio ships, with an interface that connected directly to the pilot's neural system. Cathair was one of the first to test it, and, to put it mildly, it didn't go well. The interface fried his neural system, leaving Cathair with neurological damages he's very unhappy about, including headaches, seizures, and brain fog. After a recovery period of roughly two years, he was told very firmly that piloting was no longer an option. He was offered an honorable discharge and retirement, or a promotion to a desk job. Both felt like being packed up and sent away, out of sight and out of mind, so Cathair insisted on a third option: If he was going to be packed off, he'd rather they do it properly.
  
  And in the middle of the desert, who's going to stop him from trying to fly again?

  Nimo is a down-to-(Old) Earth farmer who has one foot on the ground and one hand in the sky. Unfortunately, her frustration and anger toward the grown-ups who won't listen to her new ideas might just end up giving the crops a bitter taste.

  Personality: Nimo is an extrovert who is warm and kind to everyone she meets. She believes firmly that you can learn something from everyone so she keeps her ears and eyes open for good conversation. She's a giver and often gives away the flowers, herbs, and veggies that she grows in her personal garden. She's also strong and clever, as all farmers should be if they want to run things properly. Additionally, she's innovative and her mind is constantly whirring to try and find easier, more efficient, and/or less expensive ways to farm.
  
  Goal: To push agriculture forward with new, better ways of doing things, starting with her family's farm
  Obstacles: She doesn't have the materials, know-how, or opportunity to try these new, better ways of doing things
  
  Capabilities:

  Current situation: Lives with her mother, father, older brother (26), grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, and younger twin cousins (11) in two farmhouses on their land. They all rise before the sun and work the day away (except for her grandparents, who handle finances, and her younger cousins, who are still in school). She is content and intends to live there for the rest of her life.
  
  Backstory:
  Nimo grew up on the Rivera family ranch and has been tending to crops and livestock as long as she can remember. Her family has always been loving, supportive, and cooperative, giving her the ideal environment for healthy child development. Life on the farm was structured, predictable, and comfortable, which was equally nice and frustrating. The monotony could be crushing at some times and comforting at others. After experiencing the hustle-and-bustle of the city on business trips, though, Nimo realized that novelty wasn't for her and she could get by with just the occasional visit. The innovative side of her became her source of novelty but, after a few mishaps with re-structured balanchines and machinery geared for speed rather than torque, her family quickly disregarded any possibility of her coming up with something useful.

  What is it: a cybernetic full-arm gauntlet
  What can it do: It enables the user to lift, push, pull, grip, hit, etc. with much more force than normal. It also features mini heat-seeking missiles.
  Limits: Runs on combustible fuel, not very efficiently I might add. Can only be removed from the user's arm with an Eject command, but since the gauntlet isn't paired with its full set (which includes a second gauntlet and compatible HUD glasses), no commands can be used. This includes the command to turn the safety off, so the missiles are useless as well.

  Connie is a rather naive individual, with a dreamy outlook on life and a ''green thumb''. Fascinated by the prospects of vegetation and gardening, even in the dirthole he calls home, he strives to quit being a daydreamer and actually live in the present, even if it's a dull one at that.

  Personality: A study Connor once read, claimed that personality and quirks dont form just from personal living, but also from picking up tidbits from surrounding people, friends and even fictional characters. And boy, did Connie do that. Specifically the fictional character part. Once he got access to various televised shows from around the confines of space, he was in complete awe, seeing the adventures of all of the galactic heroes of old and new, that strided around the corners of the tv, living their best life. Even though socially Connor never stood out, he yearned for it, trying to be like his heroes. A particular character he tried to model himself after was Maelon, the "Protector of the Green", a red-haired hero scientist that traveled to arid forgotten hell hole planets and revitalized them. Latching himself to the personality of this character, Connor developed a fierce love for gardening and anything involving the use of plants. By studying and meddling in the ''sacks'' most of his time, he cultivated his imagination, becoming quite the curious individual, but one with his sights always leaping to the future, towards better times, and not towards the present, resulting in him slacking out a lot and not living up to his full potential.
  
  Goal: On a large scale, if Connie would be asked what his future goals are, he would probably ramble on about saving all of the planets from extinction or how he would invent a generator that would revitalise the whole planet. But on a small, and realistic scale, his goal is quite a simple one: become his town's leading plant biologist.
  Obstacle: Coming from quite a poor background, and from a family that mostly does their work around mechanical stuff, he is discouraged from trying to reach a higher career in gardening, a prospectual job like that not being viable in their backwater Dunnell town.
  
  Capabilities:
  
  Adept level at gardening, and knows a bit of tinkering on some machines, that his father taught him
  He carries a small compass that he found buried deep beneath the sands of a crater, it doesnt work, but he likes fidgeting with it.

  Current situation: Living with his father , mother and smaller sister (of 7 years), he spends half his days searching for trinkets around the city and its outskirts, and the other half in the balanchines, testing his ass off on the endurance and environment of plants.
  
  
  Backstory:
  Mostly covered in other tabs, might expand later. Basically, he grew up with a passion for a totally different line of work than his parents (which were welders) and for that he was kind of a dissapointment for them. To compensate for the awkward tension at home, he would often wander outside for days on end, seeking small-time jobs with any who would take him. This labelled him as the town's drifter poster boy,always floating aimlessly from one job to another, with only his dreams to show for, and not much concrete work.

  What is it: An experimental suit of armor that manipulates gravitational force around it, with the probable purpose of being used defensively
  What can it do: Once activated, in theory, the user should slightly alter the weight of the objects and people around it, making them lighter or heavier, upon request
  Limits: However, being experimental it has a lot of flaws. For one, once the suit is on, it makes the user lose almost all of their mobility. Its a clunky prototype, and instead of exerting all of the gravitational force outside, it often makes the user feel its effects as well. For example, if one were to use it to make a giant rock lighter, depending on the size of the rock, the user might feel its effects heavily or not. If its a small rock, for example, and you choose to make it heavier, the user might feel groggy, drowsy, like the force is exerted on himself as well.
