I know this is probably going to be a rather long shot and buried within the site within a few days. But would anyone be interested in a one-on-one Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild type roleplay?
The idea that hit me after playing both of the games is that before the events of the Calamity, Princess Zelda is praying at the Spring of Courage when all of a sudden, a figure appeared it happens to be the Link from Skyward Sword who is injured and very confused. After being filled in what had happened, he vows to help the Princess and the new hero the best that he can with the coming Calamity, along with trying to figure out how to get back home to Skyloft, navigating royal politics, and everything in between.
