This is an AU - and basically set in DA: Origins.
Where the ArchDemon has been on the battlefield from Day One. The armies of Ferelden have suffered several defeats; with Ostragar the only way to stop them. A place where Loghain has even but aside his hatred for the Orleasians; to get aid and stop the Archdemon.
This isn't an if the Blight is stopped, but what happens after. Join the story, as Ferelden is faced with a shadow civil-war; more de-stabilizing and more deadly than whatever Loghain could have cooked up.
Join forces with a pragmatic!sane!Loghain, or with a more intelligent!alive!Cailan - with actions that affect the entire Ferelden; a more hidden yet deadlier threat - join the Grey Wardens or go your own way, join a side in the upcoming civil war - where friend and foe ar hard to understand.
Become Ferelden' greatest hero or traitor. Enlisten the aid of even the Architect to help solve the crisis in Ferelden.
...and if the conflict, politics and idiocy become to much to bear - then even entertain the prospect of becoming a powerful!free-willed!darkspawn-warden-hybrid...
