Ophelia Abbott

It was a beautiful day, and Ophelia had decided to take the chance and go on a walk. Of course, most people might not consider it beautiful, but Ophelia loved when it rained. She peeked out from under her bright red umbrella and smiled up at the sky as the light shower continued. People rushed past her off to all sorts of places, most keeping their heads down underneath inky umbrellas much less cheerful than her own, and attempting to keep dry despite all odds. Ophelia was cast the odd glance here and there usually, but most people tended to pay her no mind, or ignored her completely. She tended not to dwell on it, as most of the people who considered her 'weird' would most likely forget her by tomorrow, and she them.

As she made her way down the streets of London, she couldn't help but feel someone staring at her, though. She could tell from the itching sensation she'd always gotten when someone was really staring at her, and she could tell whoever it was, they were following her. Every now and then she'd stop and peek over her shoulder to see the same hooded figure a few feet away from her, either walking with the crowd or idling near a wall or a tree. Fiddling nervously a bit with the pendant of her necklace - a bit of a habit she'd picked up over the years- she picked up her pace a bit, her calm of earlier gone for the moment. They still followed her- the stranger- who was now accompanied by another, identical hooded figure. Sending a silent prayer to the sky and gods she didn't believe in, Ophelia turned on the spot and continued down an alleyway, the two strangers still on her heels. Stopping once she felt she was close enough to the next street to run if she needed to, she turned to face the strangers and shifted her grip on her umbrella, noticing that the rain had begun to form into a proper storm. She would usually be heading somewhere warm once it got to this type of rain; storms were beautiful, but Ophelia preferred to experience them from inside somewhere with a nice mug of tea and a blanket wrapped around her. Then again, that'd never stopped her from dancing around during one and getting absolutely soaked before...

"Hello?" she called hesitantly to the figures, who had stopped a foot or two away from her respectively," Who are you? Why are you following me?"

No response came from the hooded figures. Instead, one started towards her again, their pace quick and aggressive. The figure grabbed Ophelia by the arm, startling her, and began to drag her down the alley. Panicking, she swung her umbrella at him and was surprised when she was released suddenly as her attacker reached for his face underneath the hood. She'd about taken off while she had the chance, but when his hood fell away from his face she couldn't help but stare. The man before her on the ground had one large eye and green skin.

"W-what are you?" she asked, backing away quickly as she remembered her situation and holding her umbrella before her like a sword.

"We are warriors of the planet Nagowa, and you are a thief," the other of her attackers spat at her, lowering his own hood to reveal the same strange one-eye, green skin combination. He pulled a strange-looking weapon from underneath the cloak he wore and pointed at her in one swift motion and shot- missing her by a hair.

Ophelia let out a shocked yelp and ducked, immediately bolting for the end of the alley, immensely grateful for the fact she'd decided on wearing her favorite pair of sneakers that day over high heels or something. Once she reached the corner, she began sprinting down the sidewalk, having to dodge people on her way, as she heard two pairs of footsteps behind her running as well. At least these aliens had the sense not to shoot randomly at her on a busy street. Ophelia couldn't believe she was being chased by what could only be aliens. In the brief moment she'd let herself overthink, she'd forgotten to dodge a man on the street and ended up colliding with him roughly. She apologized a few million times quickly before glancing behind her and ducking past him, with only an explanation of "So sorry! Have to run!"

She wasn't sure how long she could keep this up, but for the moment her only plan was to run.

(I apologize if this is absolute trash, I'm bad at beginnings lol)
