The Scions of the Storm:
Amaris, of Valice. The Tower: Leader of the Scions of the Storm, from Valice, name unknown, she took the name of the river Amaris which flows in Valice. She stands at 5'11", with golden blonde hair that falls to the small of her back, usually straight and left loose, though in combat she's prepared for, it'll either be in a ponytail or pulled up into a bun. She has a well-toned physique, lightly tanned skin, and blue eyes. Tends to wear simple tunics and slacks, or a mix of leather armors and chainmail, preferring light armors to heavy ones. Prefers to wield a slender long sword. She has a notable birthmark, rarely seen, above her heart/under her left breast, that seems to resemble a red-purple rain drop/tear drop.
Dominick Acacia: Heir of the Acacia family from the island of Iona, though he's more or less been disowned by his family. Would-be alchemist, though uses his love of mixing and experimenting to create poisons, balms, salves, and food, among other things. He shares in the traits of many of Iona, particularly the nobility - black hair that he now keeps short, silver eyes, and porcelain skin. He tends to dress in robes, or robe-like attire, always with long, belling sleeves, to help hide whatever may be up them - literally. He stands at 5'5", with a slight form, preferring to fight at a range or use poisons to get his way.
Oriana: The money-keeper of the Scions, more or less, a woman of golden skin and fiery red hair, with hazel eyes that seem amber in some lights. She stands at 5'2", and is relatively well-toned, capable of fighting with daggers and bows. Tends to prefer skirts and dresses, she does dress sensibly for combat engagements, but is more known for her cutting words than her cutting capabilities.
Timothy: Apprentice to Dominick in the realm of healing and poisons, he was a boy who joined the Scions a few years back and stayed on. He's become a combatant, working with the sword. He has brunette hair and brown eyes.
Praw: A man with four half-siblings, two horses, and a name meaning "One". He has sandy blonde hair and gray eyes that tend to make him blend in, more than stand out, which can be advantageous when listening in on things. Not known for being large or his physical prowess, more of a silent killer.
James: Exotic, dark-skinned beauty, who is well aware of his beauty and tends to use it to get what he needs or wants from others. Quite tall as well.
Dreza: A woman of discipline and faith, with an interest in names and meanings. She has curly hair and long legs.
Nobles of Valice
King Edwin Valorum: King of Valice, and the one who has summoned the Scions of the Storm to see to an issue in Della, against Nathan's advice.
Captain Nathan Pyrrus: Captain of the Royal Guard, knew Amaris before she had a name, and was not a captain at that time. Has moved up in the ranks quite a bit.
Alexio Geminus: Technically Lord of Della, but he's sworn himself into a life of military service - his father was alive. He's let his sister, Dacia, lead in his stead. Second-in-command to Nathan Pyrrus.
Dacia Geminus: Technically just regent while Alexio is away on duty in Valice, but really, the ruling lady of Della.
Others
Fortune Teller: Predicted Amaris's rise - though was not happy about it. An old woman who was at a festival in Valice, years ago.
Eiji Hod: Noble of Iona, heir of the Hod family, hasn't been seen for many years - except on wanted posters by the church claiming he's a warlock.
Benny: A nuisance dog, the pet of Timothy.
Deluge: Black mare - Amaris's horse.
