You are a student at Tuscan University in the city of Fishing Creek. In the Universities library their is a glass case and inside the case a stone rests on a tripod. The stone has an untranslatable language carved into it. No placard to say what it is and no one seems to really know. Their are speculations but most people think it's nothing.
One day started just like any other. You meet your friend Wes and headed to professor youngs class together. Shortly after class started wes left without saying anything. Odd but whatever. Some time goes by and the class is suddenly interrupted by screams and people running down the halls. People outside are dyin, being killed by demonic monsters. The monsters burst into your class room. Professor young pulls a sword out from under his desk and slays the demons with no hesitation. Hes done this before but he looks worried. Shortly after a group of people enter the classroom. A woman is leading them and with them is Wes. Professor young seems nervous. He knows this woman and is prepared to fight her. The womans group kills everyone in the room including the professor. He didn't stand a chance. Didn't even get close to her before getting shot down. Everyone is dead except for you. The woman says something to you in another language then the group leaves. Shortly after the police arrive. The stone is missing but before anyone can question you you collapse.
You wake up in a hospital. Their is a man at your bedside. A Detective. Little do you know this detective is going to be your new best friend. It is up to you now to stop this woman before she unleases hell on earth but it won't be easy. She has cast some sort of curse on you and you are slowly dying aside from that the world is an extremely dangerous place. Various gangs control the streets. Riots, wars, and violence are common these days.
