Name: Fang Guiying

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Demon Slayer: Yes

Distinguishing Features: A dark mole under his left eye.

Sexuality: Bisexual

Height: 5’10

Weight: 145

Rank: Kinoto

Backstory:
In the slums, crime runs rampant. People are picked off as if they were nothing more than rats in a maze, and those who live there know there is no escape. This was the only life Fang had known since birth. His father died when he was young and his mother went to work as soon as she could to support him. She always wanted more for her son but never had it within her means to provide what would have been needed to get him out. She was always too busy with work and unable to keep him from getting caught up in a gang.

Fang didn't mind living in the slums. He knew it wasn't much but it was better than being alone on the streets. With his friends by his side and the other boys that lived there, he felt safe enough to sleep at night without worrying about whether or not he'd wake up in the morning. They all made their own rules together and the gang was big enough to protect them all. It was an uneasy relationship, especially between the adults, but it worked well enough for them. They transported drugs and illegal firearms for a larger, more notorious group; the group's reach was far beyond the slums, but his gang knew enough to not ask too many questions. They took what they were given and kept their mouths shut.

For their situation, things felt suitable for a long time. The monotony their work brought was a great privilege in the chaos of their birthplace. The evenness of their work put him on edge more and more with every easy job. It was as if their good luck was only a consequence of something awful looming towards them. His paranoia would be validated in the last job they took. The group took a transport job to move some cargo from place A to place B. Simple enough, it was something they’d done countless times prior. Yet as he eyed the crate with his oddly perceptive vision, Fang knew something was off. As soon as they loaded the box in their truck it sprung open. He could not blink before his friend's throat was gashed open by a clawed hand.

He watched helplessly as all of his friends fell victim. They were taken down one by one until only he was left standing. Under the cover of the dim moon, the beast slowed enough for Fang to get a look at its form. It was humanoid in appearance with a serpentine body, but instead of legs, it had a tail. It slithered forward slowly. Fang's adrenaline kicked into high gear and he ran from the warehouse toward the main street where he saw a police officer patrolling. Words slipped from his tightly pursed lips as frantic murmurs—blood clung so heavily from his white T-shirt that his form was visible underneath. What proceeded him was blurry, but the monster was long gone before more officers breached the scene of the slaughter. With no other suspects and no coherent explanation, he was arrested. The event was deemed a gang-affiliated crime and quickly closed.

The next few years were spent in prison. He learned how to survive, but it was a new experience. An inmate named Fu was the sole person he told his story to that believed him, and after some time Fu revealed that he held intimate knowledge of the creature that struck him. Fu called members of its species demons. In their free time, Fu imparted bits of knowledge pertaining to defeating its kin. This was in the form of breathing techniques and exercises meant to strengthen the body.

After a while, the pair grew close and Fu began to share his life stories with Fang. He was once a street punk like him, but then fate stepped in and changed his direction. For Fang’s graduation, he swooped in and stripped several guards of their keys without catching their focus. Afterward, Fu gave Fang a gift in the form of an address, a letter to give to a friend, and a goodbye. Without any preamble he was suddenly released for good behavior, citing his youth as a forefront reason for the brief time served.

At the address, he contacted a retired Hashira and a friend of Fu who provided him with formal training and an invitation to the final selection. Afterward, he was granted full entry into the demon slayer corps and began making a name for himself.

Weapon: A black nichirin sword with a purple edge.

Abilities:
First Form: Rising Carp— The user plants their feet into the air before soaring upwards. They unleash a torrent of slashes before ending the string with a single strong diagonal slash back to the surface.

Second Form: Upstream River— The user flings themselves high into the air, arching over and slashing downwards before repeating the process again. The second time through they'll even use a forward spin to boost their speed further.

Third Form: Downward-Sliding Stream— The user slams into the ground at an angle, sliding along for several yards before slicing diagonally upwards. The resulting slash can be used while rolling, allowing the user to go much faster than if they simply walked.

Fourth Form: Dragon’s Emergence— The user leaps up into the sky, creating a gust of wind as they do so. After releasing this, they dive down from above, performing another thrust upward. The intent is to make the target airborne and susceptible to subsequent attacks.

Fifth Form: Burning Maw— The user curves their sword downwards starting from above. The attack gives the impression of a dragon's fangs closing down on an enemy. This form is best used against armored foes, as it's more likely to shatter armor rather than cut through it.

Sixth Form: River of Fire— The user starts by flinging themselves backward to create a large gust of wind. After that, they jump forwards, rotating sharply as they do. When they land on the ground, they immediately begin spinning in place, whipping their blade around in wide arcs. This form is slow but powerful.

Seventh Form: Dragon Fire— The user flings themselves forwards while crouched low. When they reach a certain point in their flight, they perform a small hop which causes them to spin quickly. This creates a shockwave, exploding outward like a firework. Then they perform a wide swing with the momentum, intending to behead.

Eighth Form: Scale Body—A defensive technique where the user attempts a parry. If the opponent tries to strike them, the user will stop the blow and thrust their sword upwards, the kinetic energy released from the succession of actions gives the impression of facing a dragon's hot, scaly visage.

Sensory Skill: Sporting superior vision Fang is able to discern the vitals of his enemy with a glance. His vision can penetrate the darkness, and he can see almost as well at night as in broad daylight. As far as distance goes he can see clearly up to one hundred feet away without any trouble. This makes him able to track someone over long distances or even spot them from afar. On top of that, it gives Fang exceptional peripheral awareness which allows him to sense danger even when there are many distractions.

Talents: Beyond hand-to-hand combat ability his time as a gang member has made him an expert at lockpicking, parkour, and any other manner of urban maneuvering. He is also able to operate vehicles such as cars, trucks, and motorcycles with little difficulty and can drive them in both city streets or off-road terrain. His familiarity with the criminal underworld along with his knowledge of weaponry allows him to easily blend into various crowds, whether that be a bar full of thugs or a club filled with rich partygoers.

Theme: TBD

Other:
Part-Time:
To make up for a lack of income due to abandonment of his propensity for immoral means of earning—Fang has gotten a part-time job as a pizza delivery man. He doesn't mind the work, and he's able to travel all over town on his bike. So long as it isn't too hot or cold outside, he can even deliver at night without feeling fatigued. It also allows some free time to do a little bit of espionage for his primary duty; there is a lot you can glean from remaining mobile. If nothing else, he'll be able to gather information about the goings-on in town that way.

Name: Marumachi Ryutan

Nicknames:
Ryu - A shortened version of his given name.
Maru - A shortened version of his family name.
Mochi - A name from when Ryutan was human, and making jokes still made him roll over with laughter. An old friend gave Ryu this nickname when a mutual friend mispronounced 'Marumachi' as 'Maru-mochi'.

Age: 20

Gender:  Male

Race:  Demon (No Ranking)

Demon Slayer: Ex-Demon Slayer

Rank:  Hinoto

Distinguishing Features:
Heterochromia - One yellow eye and the other is light blue, almost gray.
Scarring - From his final fights as a Demon Slayer, scars on his face, forearms, and chest
Earrings - Multiple earrings on each ear.

Sexuality:  Pansexual

Height: 6 Feet Tall

Weight: 166 Pounds

Backstory:
Ryutan's story starts off rather simply, being born to a Demon Slayer mother and a deadbeat father. Ryu's Mother, Marumachi Hinata, was the one who raised the young boy throughout his child years after his father had left after only 3 months since Ryu's birth. Being a high-ranking Demon Slayer, Hinata refused to leave the corps even after being advised to, but did agree to only take missions of a lower degree. So every now and then, depending on the location of his mother's mission, nurses of the corps would look after Ryu, no matter how chaotic he was at times. This process continued until he was old enough to start training to become a Demon Slayer of his own rite.

Starting at the age of 11, Ryu's mother would start teaching him the basics of swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat, while a man he considered to be his uncle of some sorts, slowly started to teach him the basics of Wind Breathing. Starting off rather slow at first, Ryu's mother and his teacher were worried that he wouldn't be able to handle being a Demon Slayer, and wouldn't be able to become an official ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps. Though the night they were going to break the news to Ryu and officially stop his training, was the moment he proved himself to both adults, by eliminating a demon who attacked a young couple that was roaming the streets that night. From that moment his training started to grow in difficulty and his rate of learning increased greatly. Years of training until he was fifteen, that's when he took on the Final Selection and became an official Demon Slayer.

Saying goodbye to his mother and thank you to his teacher, Ryutan set out on his own to complete missions and rise through the ranks, to hopefully become as successful as his mother had. And for three years he was able to survive and rise through the ranks at a surprising rate. But those years of success had to come plummeting down at some point, and that fateful night when Ryutan thought he accepted another normal mission, that would be the last time he walked the earth as a human.

Hunting for a demon that had slaughtered a few local families, Ryutan would make his way through the town at a quick pace to ensure that the accursed beast couldn't strike again. Little to his knowledge, the demon wasn't hunting for ANY human, but for the Slayer that was tasked with ridding the world of it's presence. The demon was like none other Ryutan had fought before, it being able to knock the Slayer down within an instant. From then, battle between the two continued for almost an hour before Ryutan had finally fell victim to his injuries. He fell to the ground, lethally wounded and his weapon broken, his crow had already already cried out that he had been felled in combat. Ryu's vision faded away, and he thought that it was his end.

Much to his own surprise, Ryutan woke up and his injuries were gone, like that had been healed except for a few scars. Was the fight just a dream or was he in heaven... or hell? It was much worse than that, he smelt the blood of so many people nearby, his new need to feast pounded against his head as he picked up his broken sword and ran... and ran... and ran. This new burden was not one he wanted, but one that Ryutan would have to live with to survive now as a demon. Until this point he has survived by sleeping the days away in secluded, shaded spots while doing what he could to live during the night hours. By stealing blood bags from hospitals and eating the occasional human that deserved it, in his opinion at least. Ryutan plans to continue this lifestyle for as long as his body will allow him.

Weapon(s):
Snapped Nichirin Katana - Snapped from the battle where he was turned into a demon. The blade still retains the color it had when complete: A deep green. While not as useful as before, Ryutan can still use Wind Breathing and simple sword techniques with the shortened blade.
Hand-to-Hand Combat - When push comes to shove and he's left with no weapon, Ryutan has intermediate skill in the martial arts. Having been able bring a simple demon to the ground with grappling techniques.

Abilities:
First Form: Dust Whirlwind Cutter - The user dashes forward at blinding speeds and slashes continuously in a horizontal cyclone pattern.

Second Form: Claws-Purifying Wind - The user lifts the sword upwards towards the right, above their head and unleashes four vertical slashes at once down on the enemy resembling claws.

Third Form: Clean Storm Wind Tree - The user unleashes a whirlwind of slashes around their body that can defend them from incoming attacks and slice up their surroundings.

Fourth Form: Rising Dust Storm - The user releases several slashes above them from below their target.

Fifth Form: Cold Mountain Wind - The user creates several circular arched slashes that increase in size from above their target.

Sixth Form: Black Wind Mountain Mist - The user rotates their body in an uppercut movement, creating an arcing slash.

Seventh Form: Gale, Sudden Gusts - The user leaps into the air while swinging their blade which generates gale-force winds to shred their opponent apart.

Eighth Form: Primary Gale Slash - The user leaps into the air and swings their blade which generates circular torrents of wind that slices up the opponent instantly.

Ninth Form: Idaten Typhoon - The user backflips into the air and while upside-down, unleashes a powerful gust of circular wind that slashes apart anything below.
Regeneration - Being a demon, of course Ryutan can somewhat regenerate from injuries

Sensory Skill:
Touch - While no longer as sharp as it use to be, Ryutan can feel vibrations in the air when focused to alert him of different movements from different foes. Though he can only do this from a limited range now, anything beyond his limit doesn't trigger this sense, so ranged attacks are Ryutan's bane. The current limit of his sensory is 20 meters.

Talents:
Stamina - Now somewhat enhanced by his demonic body, Ryutan has a seemingly superhuman amount of stamina. While it certainly isn't infinite, he can make a fight last for a while of need be.
Mental Fortitude - The only reason why Ryutan hasn't gone feral as a demon, he continues to fight back against the urges pressed against him and uses other methods to satisfy the needs his demonic body has.
Calm Mind - Not really a talent, but due to him not gaining a completely demonic appearance and his mental fortitude, Ryutan seems to have no problem when attempting to blend into a scene or group of people during the night-time.

Theme:
I Prevail - Breaking Down

Other:
Physical Attributes - Despite the power-up one recieves as a Demon, Ryutan's strength is below the average demon. Though his speed is slightly above average. Defense-wise, he's not great but not bad either.
Slowly Losing It - The process of losing his human memories has taken a toll on Ryutan, his moral takes a heavy hit whenever he has nostalgia, but can't remember when he first experienced the location he is at.
Targets - Ryutan seems to target certain people for when he absolutely has to consume a human to survive, these people tend to be ones with criminal records or are names frequently heard on police scanners.

Touch. He has a very strange keen of touch that allows him to understand recent activity in the surrounding area or what/who has touched the object he is able to get into physical touch with. For example, if he touches the ground in a specific area, he can tell just how many people and who it was that passed by that exact surrounding area within a 10-15ft radius recently. Another is if he picks up a cup that someone else might've touched earlier or done something to it, he can tell the difference as long as it was recent(1-2hours).

Demon Slayer
Heath
theme

origins
Demons have always played a bloody part in the lives of Heath's family. It had started with his mother's parents, whose evening walk after dinner under a full Tokyo moon would prove to be their last. It had set her on a grief-stricken course into surgical medicine, hell-bent on using the ways of science to defeat what it has long been unable to fully explain.

But brilliant as Nakaya Akame was in medicine, love was her most elusive subject. She just could not spare it the time of day, even when it lay etched on the faces of men she flipped through like pages of a textbook. One such man was Antonio DiSabatino, a sharp-talking and business-suited American of Italian descent. His heart was a generous one, and his feelings were true to her and her alone. Often taking shape in big chunks of Japanese yen for her endless studies to becoming a masterclass surgeon.

Then, four record-breaking years into their affair, Akame gave birth to a boy. Months later, her Antonio died, just hours before boarding a flight back home to America to visit his folks.

After that, the story blurs, as it so often does for a demon.

The one he called mother, for instance, would say that he had been the spitting image of his father; generous and sweet, if not somewhat mischievous. Bright, bull-headedly righteous, and heart set for the sciences, just as she was. His sense of justice carried him through his adolescence, while his interests in science took a deeper, if not more morbid, turn. He was on track to be something big in the medical field, she would continue. Just as she tried to be. If not for her failed obsession with demons, whom she knew, in the deepest recesses of her heart, stole her parents and the one man she loved, and eventually, her health in the process.

But that didn't stop the broad, did it? A hole in the heart, she would admit. A hole that she had tried to fill for most of his childhood, with the shiny slacks of business or the boots of blue-collar men. One such man was one you'd least expect to stick around. Until he did, under the official title of step-father. The first part was pretty on-brand; he would turn and kick a brat he had no use for. Her brat, her responsibility, and at the worst of times, her protector.

Such heroics, at such a tender twenty-something age. A touch of demon ought to fix it, decided fate. So, under a full Tokyo moon much like the one all those years ago, a sly, serpentine Upper Demon caught its prey and cast its spell (with permission, of course). A spell that would set the scene for a bloody tragedy, where step-father and son would tear at each other's throats like demons, a sweet mother caught in the crossfire.

But reality cast its own spell. One victor, one loser, and one survivor.

The loser lay headless, freshly-turned, and dissipating into dust. The survivor, choked on frightened tears and a renewed burning resolve, fled. Only the winner remained; bloodied, lower jaw missing, and full of aching rage that almost seemed undeniably human. Using precision learned from hours in anatomy classes, a part of his step-father's demonized jaw was torn, regenerative tissue sealing it against his cheek.

And thus, the Bare-Boned Demon was born.

PART II

Still haunted by the wrath that had possessed him in his final human moments, the next few years were spent on a crazed, serial blood-lustful run. Eluding modern-day captors at every turn, it was almost evidence that some essence of a brilliant, morbid mind still remained. A terror unleashed unto Tokyo, leaving a strange M.O behind: torn and punctured jaws on every single one of his bone-dry victims.

Only a force of nature could tame another; in the end, it was the breath of thunder that took him down.

And was very ready to take his life, had it not been for an elder woman, feared and well-connected within the whispers of the Demon Slayer Corps. She was the former Water Hashira; she knew him, and she was here on account of a favor to an old family friend.

PART III

Chisaki Hiroko, better known by her university colleagues and students as Madame Chi, was a woman who never forgot her promises. Despite retiring years ago as Water Hashira, the desperation in Akane's eyes was too great to ignore. Had she heeded the warning years before, when she had decided to try and cure what does not want to be cured...

Then her son would truly be lost.

A pain-staking reorientation of a demonic hypothalamus, of its levels of hunger for human blood and bottomless satiety. A surgery culminating out of years of research, skill, demons' knowledge and desperate, desperate hope. Guarantee, ethics, and certainty were all out the window; it was pure gamble.

The Bare-Boned Demon awoke, mind grasping for a lust that rarely reached back. Free from the fog of demonic blood-hunger, there seemed room for calmness, rationality even. Though corrupted, his old personality had stayed relatively intact. And despite the psychological twisting and contorting done by a years-long bloody rampage alongside other demons, with the slow return of his memories, there could still be hope yet for Heath DiSabatino.

But where to channel this hope?

Madame Chi could only sigh, closing the doors forever on her tenure as a professor, and reopening old ones for the first time in years. Once a Hashira, always a Hashira. It was time to welcome her newest disciple and get him ready for the final selection.

Safe to say, under the strict, continuing draconian teaching of Madame Chi, Heath has turned out something close to a miracle, if it is at all a miracle that mold is stopped from growing on the fruits of the old oak. Of course, there is still the mold already grown to deal with, so it is always handy to keep a Wisteria flower or two nearby to keep it in check.

Yet, despite giving him his entryway into the very thing meant to slay 'his' kind, the final selection meant to judge one fit for demon-slaying is far, far from being finished with Heath. And perhaps, neither are the forces that led him down this path in the first place.

WATER-BREATHING
6 out of 11 mastered

  • First Form: Water Surface Slash - The user generates enough momentum to create a powerful single concentrated slash.
  • Second Form: Water Wheel- The user leaps and vertically spins forward in the air while releasing a flowing attack in a circular motion.
    • Second Form: Improved, Lateral Water Wheel - An alternate variation of Second Form: Water Wheel that unleashes a horizontal spin instead of a vertical one.

  • Third Form: Flowing Dance - The user swings and bends their blade in a winding motion along with their body and dances in a flowing pattern, slicing everything in its path.

  • Fourth Form: Striking Tide- The user makes multiple consecutive slashes while twisting their body and sword in a flowing fashion to deliver multiple blows simultaneously.
    • Striking Tide, Turbulent - An improved version of the Fourth Form: Striking Tide. The user increases the quantity of consecutive strikes and slashes along with improving its accuracy in order to contact a specific target during a chaotic situation.

  • Fifth Form: Blessed Rain After the Drought - The user changes the grip on their sword and decapitates the opponent in a single flowing strike that causes little to no pain. It is a “sword strike of kindness” used when the enemy willingly surrenders.

  • Sixth Form: Whirlpool- The user fiercely twists their upper and lower body, creating a whirlpool of air that cuts anything caught in it. Its effect and efficiently is enhanced underwater, where the user can draw water around their weapon to enhance their slashes.
    • Whirlpool, Flow - A combination of Third Form: Flowing Dance and Sixth Form: Whirlpool, in which the user combines the footwork from Flowing Dance and the twisting movements of Whirlpool, performing an attack around the user that conjures a twisting, swirling, vicious flow of water to redirect projectiles from multiple angles.

  • Seventh Form: Drop Ripple Thrust- The user performs a fast and accurate stab, capable of reducing the impact of a moving target.
    • Drop Ripple Thrust, Curve - A modified strike that hits from a specific angle corresponding to the sword's structure which nearly nullifies the impact and momentum of a moving object.

  • Eighth Form: Waterfall Basin - The user cuts the target vertically in a flowing motion which is most effective when they are falling downward.

  • Ninth Form: Splashing Water Flow, Turbulent - The user changes their footwork in a way that minimizes the landing time and surface needed when landing, allowing the user to move without limits. Ideal when fighting in a place with no solid foothold.

  • Tenth Form: Constant Flux - The user performs a continuous flowing attack which seemingly takes the form of a water dragon that increases in strength and power with each rotation due to momentum.

  • Eleventh Form: Dead Calm - The user ceases all body movements and enters a state of complete tranquility, deflecting, blocking and cutting any incoming attacks with imperceptible speed with their blade. However, its effectiveness is limited as fast and numerous attacks can break through.

Distinguishing Features: asymmetrical horns, protruding veins, sickly-pale-like complexion

Sexuality: Pansexual

Height: 5’7”

Weight: 122 lbs

Backstory: Ko grew up in a pretty normal family. He had a mother, father, and a younger sister. Ko’s parents had well-paying jobs, and were also strictly Catholic. Because of this, Ko and his sister attended a local private school. From birth on, he was their little princess. Although, he was never quite the favorite. Especially once his younger sister was born, his parents were already planning who to send him off to. At only 6 years old, they had found a future suitor, to which Ko expressed his discomforts on the matter. However, only reprimanding followed.

At thirteen, he felt like something was missing. More specifically, a piece of him was missing. It was like he wasn’t being true to himself. And, that was when he (after a couple years of trial and error) came to realize that he was trans. It wasn’t until he was sixteen and on a serious downward spiral that he knew he needed to do something. So, he wound up telling his sister, who was overly supportive of his experiences. She sworn to secrecy and never told anyone. Despite the momentous relief, his mental state got worse. Alas, he decided to tell his parents. One thing was clear just by their initial reaction. They didn’t take it nearly as well as his sister, and he was kicked out on top of it all, his parents saying ‘This wasn’t what God wanted for him’.

Now alone, cold, and homeless, Ko had no idea where to go or what to do. The first step was clear, however. Find shelter before the sun set, though he only had a few minutes at most, and he would have to get downtown. It’d be easier to find shelter there. Not to mention, security. Quickly, however, night had arrived and he had to pick up the pace if he wanted to make it another day. By the time he managed to find a subway station that he could sneak into, it was too late.

He had heard of the existence of demons before, but now he was crumpled up in an isolated alleyway, bleeding out, and face to face with a big, hungry demon. Ko started to get dizzier and more tired. His eyes stayed shut for longer every time he blinked. And now, he might as well be dead. The last thing he saw before he closed his eyes for good was a tall figure wearing traditional clothing slice the beast’s head off with ease, and that was the end.

Or so he thought. With hazy memories of earlier that same night, he looked around to see blood. Lots of blood, and he was covered in it as well. It was everywhere. Then, there was the body of a large, demonic figure easily twice the size of him. Finally, there he was. Alive, in a way. His head was pounding and he was still very dazed, but one thing was clear. He was hungry. Very hungry. It was still dark for the time being, and as he got up, a dark cloak that was way too large for him slid off his body. Noticing it, he immediately picked it up and swaddled himself in it as he left the scene. As he walked through the empty town, he looked through shop windows, mindlessly trying to find the smell that was luring him in. That was when he realized what had happened. He wasn’t human anymore.

Upon stopping in front of a bakery, he saw two things that caught his eye. The first was a young woman, just beginning to set up shop for the day, and the second was himself. He looked different, very different. His clothes were torn, his skin was rough and sickly pale, his scleras now had a light blue hue to them, but most obviously, his skin had developed thick, protruding veins and he now had large horns above his head. Scared of what he became, and just then putting two and two together that it was the smell of the woman that was drawing him in, he ran as far as he could from the town before dawn hit.

Just in time, he had reached a forest with solid canopy, enough to spare him a few more minutes until he found shelter. Then, there it was; an old, abandoned cabin amidst a grassy clearing. It was still in fair shape, didn’t have electricity or running water, but did have adequate ventilation so he could start a fire to keep the entire house warm. From then on, the cabin became his home, and he never left the forest unless he had to eat. When he did have to eat, however, he would sneak into a hospital’s medical storage and steal a single bag of blood.

If anything, being in seclusion caused him to develop different adaptations than other demons. He only had to eat once or twice a year in exchange for spending most of his days in a hibernation-like state, sleeping for 18-20 hours a day on average. This was to his benefit as well, considering he was definitely repulsed by the idea of eating humans, especially innocent people like he once was.

Weapon: Ko does not currently possess any weapons or extensive knowledge of them. If he really had to, he could hold his own in a fight. It would be difficult, though, to say the least.

Abilities: As of pre-roleplay, Ko does not know any breathing techniques. However, if he were to be mentored or taught that (and/or given the ability of Blood Demon Arts) he would most likely pick up a Wind Breathing variant (TBD)

Sensory Skill: After becoming a demon, Ko came to realize that his ability to hear became heightened. He can hear noises a kilometer away, though the farther they are the more they sound like a whisper, or just the wind. For example, if someone was whispering to someone else across the room from him, he would be able to tune in and hear it with ease.

Talents: Ko is fairly fast and agile. Also, he is fairly well at deciphering people’s emotions and thoughts. (now I think that’s it…)

Other: He loves cats! Even after becoming a demon, he realized that this stray black car would always follow him around or lurk by his home. He eventually let him in.

The Thunderous Heiress
Valerie Knight

Backstory
a87fc864b61d257c770c2196c3f22f59.jpg
Born to a clan which has served the Demon Slayer Corps for hundreds of generations, Valerie was raised with a single goal in mind: to be her father's successor as the Thunder Hashira. Alongside her twin brother, they began training as early as they could walk, playing with blunt weapons instead of toys, and being pushed to the limits despite their young age. The two grew up closely bonded, but the fierce competition and constant comparisons made between the two eventually drove a slight wedge between them—a growing resentment that they only acknowledged in silence.

Valerie and Viktor were nearly equal in strength and intelligence, with most battles ending in a draw, but on the day of their eighteenth birthday, their father proclaimed Viktor as the Tsuguko. Valerie was left stricken and without a purpose. The very thing she had worked blood and sweat for her entire life was gone, and worse was the realization that she had worked all her life trying to attain something she did not truly want. Shortly after, she left the Demon Slayer Corps and took over running the family business, where Valerie found she truly shined. The business world was a different type of battlefield, one just as vicious and unforgiving. One wrong move, and you could lose it all.

Valerie took the business world by storm, tripling their company's net worth in just a couple years and building new establishments. Of course, acquiring all that wealth in such a short amount of time wouldn't have been possible by keeping her hands clean. For several years, she conducted illegal activities in the underground economy, smuggling illegal firearms and financing illegal gambling operations. She had since left that scene after acquiring all the capital she needed to expand. Business has been smooth sailing so far, and the company is expected to grow even more in the next five years. Valerie has already drawn out a meticulous plan for the short-term and long-term operations of the business, all that was left to do was implement them.

However, life had other plans. Her life would be changed forever after a phone call informing her that Viktor had fallen in battle. His body was nowhere to be found; they believed the demon had devoured him completely, leaving nothing but trails of his blood. He fought bravely, they said, but all Valerie could hear was a loud ringing in her ears. She dropped the phone to the ground and fell to the floor in tears, unable to accept what she'd heard.

It has been six months since tragedy struck, and her father has been urging her to come back and pick up the sword once again. Still overstricken with grief, she refused. Valerie believes her brother is still alive somewhere. As twins, they have an uncanny connection, and she would know it if he were truly gone. Until she sees his dead body with her own eyes, she is stopping at nothing to find him.

The Thunder Tsuguko
Viktor Knight

Backstory
5c76ab9f59f5a2825b66ce218d520a2c.jpg
Viktor is the Tsuguko of the Knight Clan, next in line to be the Thunder Hashira. He grew up training alongside his twin sister, Valerie Knight, whom he doted on until the fierce competition between them drove her away from the family and the Demon Slayer Corps. Although Viktor would never admit it aloud, he silently acknowledged that Valerie was more deserving of the title, having been defeated by her more times than he defeated her during their mock battles. Despite the distance she placed between them seven years ago, he still kept an eye on her all these years. He secretly resents his father for raising them the way he did, making them fight each other for a title, and forcing them to follow in his footsteps as a demon slayer.

After earning the title of Tsuguko at the age of eighteen, Viktor underwent even more rigorous training, leaving him with no time to pursue personal goals and interests. Despite it, he worked hard to meet his father's expectations, knowing full well that if he performed his duties, Valerie would be able to keep her freedom as long as their father continued to deem him worthy of being his successor. As the eldest, he was willing to take on all of the responsibilities of the clan if it meant granting Valerie the freedom to forge her own path in life. His only regret was not giving her the childhood that she deserved.

One of Viktor's most well-known accomplishments was putting an end to the terror of the Bare-Boned Demon, a Lower Sin, who would later become a demon slayer known as Heath. The two formed an unlikely friendship as they trained side by side and went on missions together—much to his father's disapproval. He believed that Heath would bring about Viktor's demise, and that no demon could be trusted. Befriending a demon was akin to keeping a rabid dog on a leash, it would bite him once given the chance.

5b66945c8cf504699c9b8bbf3a52fdc5.jpg
Indeed, his father's fears came into fruition, but not in the way he expected. During a mission with Heath to hunt down a demon that had been feasting on villagers in a remote town, he was ambushed by an Upper Sin and her forces, who were lying in wait to kill Heath. With Viktor's heightened sense of smell, he was able to track them after he went separate ways with Heath, forcing the demons to come out of hiding sooner than they had planned. Viktor was outnumbered, while Heath was away fighting the demon they had come for, unaware of the predicament his teammate was in. Viktor held his own until he was finally overpowered and defeated. As a little present for Heath, Viktor was turned by the same demon that had turned him. He fled before the sun went up on the horizon, leaving nothing but the aftermath of a fierce battle and traces of his blood.

With Viktor's sense of smell, he is able to completely determine his environment, allowing him to fight proficiently even in the dark.

Talents: Aside from Viktor's combat intuition and skills, he excels in many other areas. He is a good cook, and a chef would be his first career choice if he weren't a demon slayer. Viktor can also play multiple musical instruments, such as the piano, violin, and clarinet. Like his sister, Viktor is a skilled artist, specializing in charcoal.

Name: Ranto Benjiro

Appearance: Ranto has a long, forlorn and pale face. Bags under his eyes as well as his depressed gaze gives off an impression of a man who has lived a hard life and creates the illusion of someone older than they actually are. He has black hair that he lets hang down without care. He always seems to be perspiring as his hair sticks to his face and head like he had just stepped in from the rain. He rarely looks directly at people unless to focus on them... and he only focuses in combat. Over his demon slayer uniform he wears a Haori that starts out a bright blue at the shoulders but gradually fades to a dark, almost black indigo at the bottom or the sleeves, as well as black socks and bamboo sandals on his feet.

emilio-rodriguez-emkun-otokade-ronin.jpg

Distinguishing Features: He usually wears a straw hat and dark blue cloak over his Slayer Corps uniform and Haori, under the guise that 'one should always be ready for rain' though he sheds both before engaging in combat. It encapsulates his glass-half empty approach to life and is often interpreted as 'one should always be ready when things get worse'. His eyes are a vibrant, bright blue that can be haunting to stare directly into.
Height: 5' 9"

Weight: 180 lbs

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Demon Slayer: Yes

Rank: Hashira, Pillar of Rain

Sexuality: Straight, if he can be bothered to show interest

Backstory: What is there to say? The Ranto Clan have long since been contributors to the war against the demons, but it wasn't until two generations ago that they went from being minor users of the Mist Style to pioneers of a new breathing art that things changed. Ranto Himimori, Benjiro's grandfather, originally set out to refine the Mist style to something that didn't rely so much on misdirection and give it more substance in a fight. By the end he had created an entirely new breathing style, which he dubbed 'Rain-Breathing'. Benjiro's father also took up the blade and refined the Rain-Breathing style further from it's Mist roots, but did not live to complete his work. That was left to Benjiro. It is said that Himimori established the Breath of Rain, Haruhiro refined it, but Benjiro perfected it.

Indeed, Benjiro has become the first of his clan to claim the rank of Hashira and has slain more demons than his grandfather and father combined. But despite this glory Benjiro has become more infamous for his dour, almost Grim attitude. No one has ever seen Benjiro to show any emotion other than a deflated sadness, no singular smiles or positive remarks. What makes it so confusing is that there is no singular event people know of that explain why he is the way he is. Some justify it, arguing that in the face of the Corps as it is and how the Demon threat still persist, how can one not regard the situation with misery. Others say that Benjiro will only smile when every demon's head is removed from their body and their threat ended forever (and even then it will remain only for a moment). Of course there are the many theories of personal loss or crisis of faith that are circulated.

He holds contempt for all demons, stating only the wicked or the helpless succumb to such a state and either executes the wicked as traitors to their race, or euthanizes the weak to spare them the horror of life as a demon. However, he personally fears he may actually envy them to a twisted degree. Benjiro takes great pride in the number of demons he has cut down, but he doesn't realize that deep down he actually enjoys the act of killing itself. He subconsciously fears that if he were to turn he would lack the mental and moral strength to resist his terrible urges and a great many innocents would die by his hand. This is why he has conflicting feelings about Demons who retain their humanity and clings so dearly to the Slayer Corps and it's doctrine, afraid he may slide into depravity without it.

Regardless, his skill, determination, and loyalty to the Corps is unwavering. Many declare that Benjiro is the embodiment of what the Slayer Corps attitude has become in recent days; a grim, stoic, and determined few who stand against the unholy tide, butchering dozens of demons for every loss but in the end, doomed to fall into the passage of time. If that is the fate of the Demon Slayer Corps, then Benjiro will be there when it happens and go into the night with grim acceptance.

Weapon: A Blue Nichirin Sword, starts out bright blue at the hilt but steadily darkens until it reaches the tip. The handle is an alternating mix of dark blue and black, and the cross guard is an iron grey oval with a stylized rim.

Abilities:

Rain Breathing Description: Rain Breathing is a hybrid style, though despite it's roots in Mist it draws primarily from the flowing combinations of Water breathing and the fierce determination of Wind breathing. Wielding a blade loosely in one hand, held down by the users side in a relaxed position, it actually allows the user a calm base to strike swiftly and explosively from. It's strikes are fluid yet powerful, but very unpredictable. Rain Breathing's unique aspect is the Kata system, of which there are two. A kata is simply the application of a Rain Breath form, with Kata 1 being soft and defensive while Kata 2 is hard and aggressive. The users ability to switch between the two Kata's on a dime is what makes the Rain Breath so deadly, versatile, and difficult to learn much less master.

Form #, Kata 1/Kata 2

Form 1, Splashing Puddles/Striking Rain:
The user's blade flourishes with a constant and fluid movement that moves with such swift smoothness that the user appears to be using no effort whatsoever. Splashing Puddles deflects and parries attacks away from and around the user often with the goal of unbalancing their opponent, while Striking Rain punishes them with a swift strike, perfectly timed and perfectly placed to either kill or maim the users enemy.

Form 2, Morning Dew of Grass/Distant Rumblings: Morning Dew of Grass (MDG) envisions the user as a blade of grass burdened with a rain drop, and emphasis maximum power for minimum motion and distance. MDG is used in circumstances of extreme close combat or very confined/narrow spaces, emphasizing the user strike from very personal and unorthodox positions and directions. Distant Rumblings is a long-range attack that is used to strike at enemies attempting to build distance, or conversely strike as the user departs from combat.

Form 3, Obscuring Drizzle/Oppressing Showers: Obscuring Drizzles a series of evasive footwork's that take advantage of the rain evoked by the user, as well as the opponents blind spots to seemingly vanish and strike from no where. A master can literally vanish in the blink of an eye. Oppressing Showers also utilizes expansive footwork, but rather for attack than evasion. The users relentlessly strikes their opponent from all directions with the force of heavy spring rains, aiming to create a chink in their armor, overwhelm them with sheer power, or even counter an equally overwhelming series of strikes from the enemy.

Form 4, Refreshing Breeze/Flash Flood: Refreshing Breeze is the most merciful of the Rain Breaths arsenal, a swift yet precise cut that feels as present as a cool April rain, killing with little to no pain. Flash Flood emphasizes maximum speed and explosive power from a completely relaxed and placid stance with the aim of delivering a lightning quick strike that can kill an enemy before they realize it.

Form 5, Second Baptism: The ultimate form in the Rain Breathing style and only one to lack a second Kata, Second Baptism is a form of mental control. All the worries, distractions, pain, and emotions are discarded as the user focuses all of their senses on the fight before them. Once activated, the Second Baptism lasts until the fight ends. It's greatest draw back is the fact the user has tunnel vision on their opponent and disregards all other external stimuli not immediately relevant. Theoretically, a user's body could have died and their mind would still force it's last moments battling against their opponent right up until the brain ceases to work.

Crimson Tears of Sekigahara: ???

Note:
Rain Breathing movements are often evoked by the user as various forms of rains, from drizzles to showers, warm and cold.

Sensory Skill: Taste. Just as one can taste metal before the rainfall, Benjiro can taste the iron of blood from a figurative mile away. He can taste the bitter, rotten cruelty of demons, but interestingly can also taste the presence of other Breath-Style users by their aspects (Flame, Wind, Earth, Thunder, etc).

Talents: Loves listening to string instruments, usually violins and other such instruments. Believes if he was never a demon slayer, he would like to compose orchestral music.

Theme: (Because of annoying BBCodes I'll simply list the songs)

It's Raining, Sweetheart by Sapph on Youtube

Fallen Petals by Sapph

Hollow Knight - Sealed Vessel - Path of Pain by MrLocus, or "Benjiro's Last Stand" as I like to call it

Hollow Knight OST - Birthplace (All Stages) by The Embraced One

Other: - Ironically has a rather bland tasting pallet when it comes to eating food despite his enhanced taste.

- His raven is named Yorokobi, or "Joy", despite it being as sour as Benjiro

- Benjiro has a complicated view on Demon's loyal to the Corps or who protect humanity. On one hand, he holds them in contempt for their condition. On the other, he respects their ability to rise above their baser instincts and do what is right.

- Is unemployed. He only hunts and kills demons.

- Enjoys somber violin music, though keeps his tastes a secret.

Galahad of the Round Table
Markus Graymane
Hashira of Winter
Male / Demon Slayer / 23
Demon Slayer Corp, Tokyo Branch | Official Liaison for the EU Branch
Winter Breathing / 5’11” (180 cm) / 154 lbs (70 kg)
Overview
The firstborn son of the current generation of Graymanes, Markus displays impeccable skill in sword fighting as well as an aptitude for slaying demons. Time he spent hunting the Demon Knight Mordred made him cold and aloof, preferring the company of silence and a good book. He bears the name Galahad of the Round Table (the European branch of the Demon Slayers), and stands as the Hashira of Winter.
Background
While the tumultuous history of demons and Demon Slayers took center stage in the land of the rising sun, other places in the world had their own histories to tell. In Europe, verdant forests and shadowy caves hid cabals of demons that kidnapped children, slaughtered villagers, and burned down homes. Through this dark age, a singular family rose up and became the shining light of hope and a bastion to the masses.

The Graymanes, nobles with a proud martial heritage and renown as knights, took up arms and fought back against the demons. It was them who discovered Sonnenmetall and the forging of demon-slaying weapons, along with the usefulness of wisteria poison against demonkind. They took inspiration from the Arthurian legends of old and appointed twelve Knights – from both noble and commoner families – to watch over the land as part of the Round Table. They were the spearhead against the ravages of demonkind, and they ushered in an age of relative peace. For a while.

But the great wars came and brought all of Europe into turmoil. The Round Table was divided, Knight fighting against Knight in defense of their own ideologies. All the while the demons were taking advantage of the chaos to reclaim their place as apex predators, nipping at the edges of the Round Table until it collapsed upon itself. One by one, the Knight families fell into the jaws of demonkind, until only the progenitor, the Graymane family, remained. They soon fell into obscurity at the dawn of the modern age, a shadow of the greatness they once were.
Yet they continued the fight, using the veil of modernity to hunt demons wherever they were. Longswords became cane swords, suits of armor became three-piece suits, and the Graymanes never relented. It was into this prestigious family that Markus was born, the firstborn son of Frederick and Ophelia Graymane.

Markus was the first of a new generation of Demon Slayers that fought in the modern age. He was trained to blend in with the crowd, spot a demon from a hundred paces away, and hunt with a single slash, leaving behind no evidence of their involvement. Frederick gifted him with two scrolls, given by their peers from Japan, that detail the forms of both Water and Wind, which the young boy incorporated into his fighting style. Markus excelled in his training, so much so that at the age of eighteen he was Knighted as Galahad of the Round Table, and granted peerage of the Graymane estates.

Alas, as with all things, tragedy struck at the height of happiness. During one winter evening when Frederick was out responding to a distress call from Spain, a Lower Sin and his cadre launched a raid against their mansion in the dead of night. While the house guard fought valiantly against the attackers – even killing off the other demons – they never stood a chance against their leader, who revealed himself as Mordred, a former Knight who led the faction against the Graymanes during the schism that brought the Round Table to ruin. Proud and overconfident, Markus fought the demonic Knight, pitting Water and Wind against a Blood Art of thorns.

But despite his talents and training, Markus could not stand up against a monster with decades of experience, bolstered by the dark strengths of a demon. Crumpled against the wall of their garden, he watched helplessly as Mordred devoured Ophelia beneath the pale moonlight. Weakened as he was, he couldn’t scream. Couldn’t reach out an arm towards his mother. He faded into darkness, welcoming a death he felt wholly deserving.
The following morning came, and he was alive. Markus woke up in a Graymane-funded hospital, his father brooding at the side of this bed, and the television showing news of a terrorist attack against their estate. He was the sole survivor. Frederick said that there were no corpses left in the mansion when he returned, only blood.

During his convalescence, Markus thought of nothing but that winter night, the face of death on his mother, the cruel grin of a fallen Knight, and the vengeance he would claim even if he had to die for it. As soon as he was able, he threw himself more into training, lasting long into the night, leaving behind tens of broken practice weapons and trashed wooden dummies in his wake. When he wasn’t training, he was watching social media feeds, listening into radio frequencies, and poring over correspondences, sniffing for the barest hint of Mordred, who had gone into hiding after their raid. And when he wasn’t doing either, he was earning experience by hunting down every demon in Europe to extinction, sometimes stalking his targets for months at a time.

Finally, four weeks before his twenty-second birthday, Markus came across a newspaper clipping from Hokkaido, Japan. It described a series of disappearances at the beginning of winter, around the foot of Mount Maruyama. No bodies were found so far, only concerning splashes of blood at each scene. Most damning of all were the rose thorns that were left as well, each tipped with a blood-like substance. Finally, Markus found him. He cared not for the reasons for the mad Knight coming to Japan and wreaking havoc there. All he cared about was fulfilling the oath of vengeance he made four years ago.

Travel arrangements were made, inventory finalized, and weapons sharpened. Frederick saw him off with naught but a nod and a firm handshake. They never completely understood each other, but revenge transcended words, and both of them wanted to properly put their beloved to rest. Sixteen hours later, Markus stepped out into the wintry landscape of Hokkaido.

He spent the next four weeks hiking around Mount Maruyama, sometimes chasing after shadows, other times fleeing waves of bloody thorns coming at him. There were nights when he slept huddled beneath the still warm carcass of a slain bear. Other days he survived on nothing but tree bark. During this time, the winter bore down on them like a merciless goddess, buffeting winds biting deep into their bodies with bitter chill. But Markus drew strength and inspiration from this, studying the ways of the season and forging a new breathing style of his own.

Then, on the eve of his twenty-second birthday, Markus and Mordred met. Atop Maruyama’s Peak, in the middle of a raging snowstorm, Sonnenmetall blade met demonic steel in clashes that echoed into the night. Mordred brought the full weight of all his demonic powers on the young man, his Blood Art piercing through flesh and drawing blood. But in those four weeks, Markus had crafted and mastered Winter Breathing, and as a tribute to her late mother, decapitated Mordred with the Eleventh Form named after her.

The following morning, the Kakushi began their work of cleaning up around Mount Maruyama, and bringing back the bloodied, battered, and unconscious body of Markus Graymane to the local Butterfly House. There, his kill was confirmed, and as soon as he was healthy enough to move, a representative of the Demon Slayer Corps in Hokkaido granted him the title of Hashira of Winter.

His vengeance fulfilled, there was nothing keeping him from leaving and returning home. But that morning, in the heart of winter, with the sun shining bright on the snow-covered landscape, Markus still felt something lacking. More accurately, there was a void inside of him that he wasn’t quite sure what to do with. What he did know was that coming back as he was would not serve the Graymane family and their constituents.

So he made some calls, had a long talk with his father, and requested a transfer to the Tokyo Branch of Demon Slayers. Days later, he stepped into the bustling metropolis with the void still eating at him, bearing the title of Official Liaison to the European Branch. He knew not if he could become someone truly worthy of the name Galahad, but what he did know was there were still too many demons around, and he would do his duty of eradicating them to the utmost.
Abilities
Winter Breathing

A hybrid of Water Breathing and Wind Breathing, Winter Breathing emphasizes the harsh and raging beauty of the pale season. This style draws from other combat techniques in battoujutsu and fencing. Like a burgeoning blizzard, Winter Breathing builds upon each form executed, the opponent becoming more burdened by the growing cold until the coup de grace.

Form #1, First Day of Winter: From its sheath, Markus draws his weapon and executes a swift slash in one motion, leaving behind icy winds in its wake.

Form #2, Snowflake’s Edge: Markus dashes forward and spins around, releasing a horizontal slash in a circular motion.

Form #3, Winterfall: Markus executes an overhead, downward slash. This is more effective when Markus is falling downward.

Form #4, Frozen Updraft: Markus slashes upward with his blade, before following it up with a blunt strike from his sheath.

Form #5, Shimmering Icicles: Markus thrusts his weapon forward multiple times, each aiming to pierce through armor and disorient the target.

From #6, Glacial Guard: While holding it backhanded, Markus blocks an attack with his cane, then in a single motion spins around, draws the blade, and counters with a swift slice.

Form #7, In the Dead of Winter: Markus sheathes his weapon and concentrates on his next strike. All Forms beyond this require executing this Form first.

Form #8, Niflheim: Markus falls into a state of higher concentration. He unsheathes his weapon, and with a single slash cleaves through hardened defenses and decapitates.

Form #9, Aurora Borealis: Like the wavy motions of the Northern Lights, Markus ducks and weaves amongst multiple opponents, slicing and piercing numerous times. The motions also misdirect and confuse opponents through afterimages.

Form #10, Avalanche: Markus rushes the enemy, wielding the blade in one hand and the sheath in the other. He overwhelms with continuous attacks, before ending the flow with a spinning slash that causes a tempest of cold winds to rage around him.

Form #11, Heart of Winter (Ophelia): The form he used to defeat the Lower Sin that earned him his Hashira title. Still, silent, Markus lowers into a draw stance, his weapon sheathed. And then, in a split second, pushing his body beyond all limits, Markus draws and slashes the target eight times, with the last slash meant to decapitate. Each attack is executed so close to each other, it almost appears as if all the attacks happened instantaneously.

Sensory Skill: Markus has a heightened sense of touch, particularly a greater sensitivity to heat and cold. He can instinctively sense each degree of change in the temperature around him, and uses this to augment his combat style. Interestingly enough, with a touch he can tell a lot about an individual, right down to their current temperament. All demons to him feel like the cloying heat of a humid summer, while those he considers close comrades radiate the gentle chill of a winter morning.
Weapon
In an effort to hide their activities from the general public, European Demon Slayers wield cane swords. The blades are forged from Sonnenmetall (the German equivalent in the materials used in Nichirin weapons), while the canes themselves are carved from millennial white oak varnished with wisteria poison. While the sword can cleave through demonic flesh without trouble, the cane itself can burn demonic skin upon contact.

Markus’ personal weapon carries the lion head symbol of their family, though he carries several backups of it whenever he hunts just in case.

Appearance: B31E12D7-13DA-4A49-88EE-C1406B086148.jpeg

Name: Ally Valentine

Age: 18 in Human years / Half a day old as a Demon at start of Rp

Gender: Female

Race: Demon

Demon Slayer: Ex-Demon Slayer? Since turning she hasn’t thought about her current position

Rank: Was to be Mizunoto

Distinguishing Features: Since being turned, Ally had developed red fox-like ears from her own, as well as growing a bushy red tail. The whites of her eyes now pitch black, sporting brilliant amber iris’s with slit black pupils.

Sexuality: Bisexual

Height: 5’4”

Weight: 120 Ibs / 54 kg

Backstory: Ally’s story began as one of opportunity, having been an exceptional student of a dojo near her home, with the Master being a Demon Slayer in secret. She accepted the proposal for becoming a Demon Slayer with excitement, starting her training with adopting or developing a Breathing Style suited to her. However, she soon found out how treacherous this life could be, and the impact it would have on the rest of her life.

On her first outing, Ally’s Master told her to be on guard but not engage, as he would demonstrate to kill a demon. Unknown to them, the Demon they hunted, was actually hunting them. It happened in the blink of an eye, a thin slice of red, painted Ally’s face and clothes as her Master was beheaded without warning. Fear gripped her entire being, unable to move let alone run. The Demon introduced themself as a Member of Seven others, before forcing Ally to consume their own blood. It was a Nightmare she visibly remembers, soft words being spoken as she gorged on some kind of meat from the ground. Mere moments later, Ally frantically searches the alleyway’s in vain, not knowing what to really look for. All she remembers now, was being told to take the wakizashi beside her, and to go look… but what for? Who was she? Where is She? Her mind only flooded with confusion and fear… and… Hunger.

Weapon: Red Nichirin wakizashi, formerly the side arm of her Master, given to her for their first outing. Although she only uses it in one move of her Blood Demon Art, she can use it quite well normally. She remembers being told to take it with her, and so she keeps it close.AA1A94E1-0188-430A-9DE9-24C1C369A24C.jpeg

Abilities: Will develop a Blood Demon Art, based upon the muscle memory from her Demon Slayer training. Her Blood Demon Art mimics that of a Breathing Style, but is entirely Blood Demon Art. The number of tails she grows corresponds to the Form/move she uses in her Blood Demon Art.
One Tail Form: Fox Shape- Through concentration, she takes the form of a small fox. This form as no attack other than teeth and claws of the form itself, and can be maintained through sleep, but that is the extent.
Two Tails Form: Scissor- Using her two tails, she can lash out with a scissor cutting slash. This can be done in rapid succession.
Three Tails Form: Paper- Spacing her three tails out like a triangle, Ally summons a shield in the form of a tri-folded piece of paper, as large as several meters on each side. The more power she feeds it, the stronger it becomes, at the risk of not being able to perform any other forms for awhile(Longer than any fight she’d be in). At lowest output, she can use it three times consecutively.
Four Tails Forms: Rock- Grouping up her four tails into a tight ball, she can swing or slam it like a wrecking ball.
Five Tails Form: Beast’s Claw- Using all five of her tails, Ally positions herself as if it to perform a drawing slash, twisting her tails around the blade to act as a sheath. When she draws the blade, the attack is powered with four extra cuts, five total to match a beast’s five claws. On hit, the wound resembles that of five cuts like a claw mark. As her most powerful physical attack, it is a finisher to a fight, using it more than once between rest/feeding would exhaust her unconsciousness.
Six Tails Form: Dream- Her six tails spread out, three to either side, then form together to mimic eye shapes. Should one fall victim to it’s stare, they experience an illusion of their own mind, usually any kind of pleasure or peacefulness. The target can resist this with a higher constitution than her own, Demons are immune to this, and any Slayers with mastery of Total Concentration Breathing will sense the attempt but resist it by default.
Seven Tails Form: Trick- Ally uses the seven tails to form clones of herself, six clones and herself. This starts out with her growing six more tails, then those six spilt off to form these clones. The clones are unable to physically or otherwise harm an opponent, and their range is 25 meters. Mostly a utility move, she uses this to set up for her next attack or bait the opponent for an opportunity attack. Ally cannot simultaneously use this Form with any other form, using another Form will cancel out her clones.
Eight Tails Form: Compass- Using her Eight Tails spread out in cardinal directions, Ally can expand her sense of touch up to half a mile, pinpointing any life form or movement within.
Nine Tails Form: Will-of-the-Wisps- At the tip of each of her nine tails, forms a blue fiery wisp, which she can cast at her target simultaneously or one by one.
Sensory Skill: Touch. Even after becoming a demon, her sense of Touch is still her strongest attribute.

Talents: Hair Braiding, it’s soothing.

Theme:

Other: Starting off, She is in a state of panic and fear, along with the overwhelming sense of hunger for Humans.

    Recollection.

Keiji's blood demon art ability involves him being able to touch any animate or inanimate object, and see its history. If he touches a human, he will learn their past in an instant. He'll know their name, age, family, etc. If he touches an inanimate object, he will see its timeline from how it was created all the way until it ended up in his hands. This power does not work on demons, and if a human has a particularly strong constitution, they can resist his powers, but he has only met one person who managed to be successful in this. Otherwise, another weakness is that he cannot read a human's thoughts. He can only see into their memories in a third person point of view.

If one knew his life as a human, they could gather that this power derives from insatiable need to know and learn about anything and everything. Keiji has already gathered this, and finds the power quite useful. Although he'd be lying if he said he didn't miss the thrill of discovering something slowly.

    etc.

Upper Sin Of Pride
Shirohebi
★★★★★★
Age 70~
Demon
Female
Height: 12’8” when fully stretched from tail to head. 6’8” when her body is not fully unfurled.
Weight: 275
Distinguishing Features

She has a long, sinuous form that seems to undulate with every movement. Her scales are an array of soft hues, ranging from creamy ivory to bright pearl. The scales are smooth and delicate to the touch, yet durable and resilient. They are arranged in rows that run the length of her body, from the tip of her tail to the point where her body transitions to her more humanoid upper half.

Shirohebi wears long, flowing clothing to disguise her lower half in public. The clothing is usually made from a lightweight material, such as silk or chiffon, and hangs loosely from her body. The fabric drapes around her curves and her serpentine lower half, obscuring her scales and any other features that would give away her true identity.
Backstory

Alone, with only the glimmer of the moon to comfort her. Her first memories were of solitude, surrounded by aught else but cool water lapping against her scales. She knew not of what she was, nor her purpose for existing. The water was her only companion, and the stillness of the night was her only comfort. As she lay in the cool water, Shirohebi was overcome with a feeling of contentment. The tranquility of the night was comforting, and the stillness of the water made her feel as if she could stay forever. She felt at peace, with no worries or concerns to weigh on her mind.

At first, Shirohebi did not even think to leave the water. She felt so content simply being there, that the idea of leaving never crossed her mind. That was until she heard a voice calling out to her, a voice that spoke her name. It was only when the voice uttered the name that she realized that it belonged to her. When she first heard her name spoken, it stirred something deep within Shirohebi. It felt deeply intimate as if her very being had been called into existence by the sound of her name. She felt a sudden surge of anger wash over her, and the voice had awoken something inside her that had been dormant until then. The sound of it felt like a call to arms, and she was determined to answer it.

When Shirohebi emerged from the well, she expected to see the figure that had called her name. But instead, all she saw was the same stillness and tranquility that had surrounded her before. There was no one in sight, no figure that had called out to her. She was alone again, just as she had been before. Yet there was something different now, something that she could not quite put her finger on. She was alone, yet not alone, as if the voice had left an imprint on her soul that she could not erase.

As she stood at the edge of the well, Shirohebi slowly began to realize that she was in a remote area in the mountains by the occasional sound of a bird, the rustle of a breeze, and the stars that shone brightly overhead. But, there was something more, a sound she could barely perceive. It was quiet at first, faint enough that the sound had only just found her ears. A whisper, among the rustle of nature. She did not understand initially, but she soon recognized the noise to be the laughter of children. It grew louder at her realization until it was clamorous enough for her to feel the vibrations of their blather on every scale. She tried to cover her ears, but it was not enough—it was too much, too loud, too sudden and so she screamed. It pierced the air with an awful timbre, a shrill note that carried on for minutes before it died away.

Her arms pulled away, with only the beat of her heart to fill the silence that fell. Yet the fury in her had not quelled. Her tail carried her towards the source as she slithered against the thews of the earthen floor. As Shirohebi cautiously approached the source of the laughter, a small cabin in the mountains came into view. Her heart raced as she slowly approached, her mind brimming with thoughts of what she might find. She was unsure of how she should proceed, but she moved forward all the same. When she arrived at the cabin’s doorstep, the laughter stalled.

Inside, she could see a family of four huddled together in the corner, clearly scared out of their wits. The father was the first to speak up, the tremble of his voice betraying his barely masked fear, “Y-you? What the hell are you? I already told you we don’t know you. Get the hell away from my family!” The father's words were like a spark to a flame, and before he could even finish his sentence, Shirohebi lunged forward and attacked. It did not take long to cut them down until only the mother remained.

Something compelled her to not strike the woman down, the very same reverie that sprung her to spill their blood. It was the way her lashes fell against her face, the ample plush of her coral-glazed lips—she was too pretty, too valuable to strike her down here. Something echoed within her as she traced over the widow’s countenance, a longing and the urge for a requital. And so this widow was her first, “prize.” Shirohebi carried her within the constraints of her tail and stole away into shadow.

Beauty was a commodity, a treasure above all else for the humans she knew to be far beneath her. The more years that lapsed her the more she knew it to be true. She collected them like trinkets, women and men, and held them in abundance. Whether it was their bodies or their minds, she held a keen interest in gathering valuable people. For years, Shirohebi used her power to kidnap and sell humans to those who had the resources to pay for them. She would often sell them to the highest bidder, and the money she made from these sales helped her amass a great fortune.

Shirohebi's reign of terror soon began to gain attention, prompting some of the more powerful demons to take notice. Sensing an opportunity to gain power, these demons started to approach her, offering their loyalty in exchange for her protection and influence. These demons became the backbone of Shirohebi's organization, providing her with valuable information, contacts, and resources. In return, they were rewarded with riches, power, and a place in her inner circle. With her newfound power and influence, Shirohebi was able to expand her operations and become one of the most powerful figures in the black market.

As her power and influence continued to grow, Shirohebi started to think of ways to expand her operations beyond the underworld. She eventually decided to purchase a private island and turn it into an exclusive tourist destination. Here, her guests would be able to escape the rules and regulations of society and live a life of luxury and excess. The island featured a plethora of opulent resorts, luxurious spas, and decadent restaurants. But it also featured something else—a lawless playground where Shirohebi’s guests could indulge their darkest desires. From the comfort of their private villas, they could enjoy the services of the island’s slaves, who were forced to cater to their every whim.

The island soon became a popular destination for the wealthy and powerful, who were drawn to its promise of debauchery and excess. Here, they could indulge in whatever pleasures they desired, safe in the knowledge that their secrets were safe. And while they partied and played, Shirohebi watched from the shadows, her power and influence rising still.
Skills

Abilities: Her blood demon art allows her to create a variety of objects from glass, ranging from weapons to tools and more. She can shape the glass into complex shapes, such as animals or abstract forms. With this skill, she is able to create entire armies of glass soldiers to serve her and impress her guests. Her creations move like predators, guided by their master’s will, and they thirst for the blood of her enemies. Additionally, she can use her glass manipulation to create a large, protective barrier around herself, which can protect her from physical attacks.

One of her most potent abilities is the power to create waves of glass that can rend her enemies and tear through their defenses. When she unleashed this power, pillars of glass would erupt from the ground and strike out at her opponents with devastating force. By focusing her mind on any reflective surface, she can see through it and observe any scene or place on the other side. She often uses this ability to spy on her enemies to gain valuable intel on their activities.
