Farseer to the Warsong Clan
If I like your post, you're in. Your character should be new to DG (talk to me if you're interested in making a veteran) and should have had a single exposure to something unusual that warrants DG's notice. Typical characters are affiliated with federal or state law enforcement, though the occasional military veteran, professor of history/anthropology/etc., computer specialist, scientist, or anyone who's skills may be pertinent to an investigation will also do. Keep in mind - if your character is not explicitly useful to Delta Green's interests, that makes them a loose end in need of tying up, not a recruit. If their personality makes them unpredictable, unstable, or a threat to the covert nature of DG, they would not be picked up. They will likely know if you are unstable or unpredictable.

Character Sheet: If you're into bb-codes, knock yourself out. I don't care, just make sure the below information makes it in.

Name:
Age:
Career and Education Status (Degrees and Alma Mater):
Appearance (image or description is fine):
Personality: I don't really care about style, but give us some info to work with.
Biography: More detail is better, though we don't necessarily need daily childhood details. Flesh out a person.
Family and Other Important Relationships: Reasonably likely the characters are married and might even have a family. If not, they still have their own family or friends. Personal relationships will likely be strained as a result of DG operations.
Skills: Be reasonable, and ought to be derived in part from your Biography and Career. Keep this stuff in mind during the RP.

Tell me a story: Write out as much material as you want regarding the incident that drew DGs attention. An investigation gone awry, a strange encounter during a hunting trip, an unusual archaeological dig, a strange lab discovery, stumbling upon a DG Green Box, accidentally becoming involved in a DG operation. Get creative, get spooky, impress me.

For example, your Handler:

Name: Henry Dodge

Age: 42

Career and Education Status: FBI Special Agent, Law Degree from Notre Dame and a Bachelors in History from University of Virginia.

Appearance: Henry Dodge is a tired looking Caucasian man, his eyes brown and sunken and somehow, a little too deep. His skin is a little jaundiced from his alcohol consumption, and it mostly shows around his cheekbones where the skin has begun to yellow. He stands at about 5'8, and weighs in at 200 pounds. He doesn't appear to be in particularly good shape, and seems permanently on edge as his hands are almost constantly trembling. His jaw is square and his face is mostly uninteresting.

Personality: Henry, like many veteran Delta Green agents, is unquestionably dedicated to the cause after what he has seen. Despite the punishing lifestyle, he knows his work is all that stands between the world and its end. He is business-like and almost unfriendly, and has a pretty perfect capacity for lying. He has no regard for his personal safety or life, something his FBI superiors have noted, and has likely been removed from field operations to preserve his talents longer. He likely resents this.

Biography: Henry Dodge grew up in Boston, the middle child of a wealthy lawyer and a socialite. He pursued his father's footsteps, intending to take over the family law firm, and upon acquiring his JD from Notre Dame, almost immediately discovered he found law practice uninteresting. He spent a few years doing it anyway, where he met and married Jennifer Yarrow. Through her, he was connected to the FBI and became an FBI Special Agent. Everything in Henry's otherwise comfortable life was about to take a turn for the worse.

Henry served five years as a Special Agent without being noticed by Delta Green. In that time, he had two children, James and Ryan Dodge, and his wife continued working in law. Eventually, an investigation into a strange string of murders in Montana ended up on Henry's desk. He flew across the country, drove through the mountains, and what he saw there changed his life forever. He tried to bury the case reports, only for DG to find them and get in touch with him. He soon became a particularly successful field agent for the organization, his successes matched only by his rapidly developing need for sleep pills and alcohol to keep him functioning.

After seven years with Delta Green, Henry unraveled. His wife divorced him and got sole custody over the children, he has moved into a crappy apartment in <Redacted> (Addendum: The apartment is well below his means. Agent Dodge appears to be putting most of his money into an education fund for his sons.) and the FBI has put him on administrative duty after noting his suicidal disregard for his own safety. He is currently assigned to work as "A-Cell" a Handler for a new DG team.

Family and Other Relationships:
1. Jennifer Yarrow: Ex-wife, mother of his two children.
2. James and Ryan Yarrow: Dodge's two sons.
3. FBI Supervisor, Sarah Warner
4. Former Field Team Members <Names Redacted>
5. Samuel and Peter Dodge: Brothers

Skills: Legal Expertise, Decent Firearms Handling, Interrogation, Lockpicking and Hotwiring.

Name: Riley "Nero" Davis

Age: 24

Career: Military Sniper

Appearance: Short, messy brown hair, and dark green eyes. Light skin, 6'1, 160lbs. Remains clean-shaven, which gives him a youthful look. Relatively handsome, although not stunningly.

Personality: Being naturally empathetic, Riley often found his sense of duty and ethics collide. His loyalty to his country and his diligence pulled him through, but he struggled often. He is reasonably friendly to allies, and will take a special role in protecting his friends. Despite this, he holds his morals close and will do all he can to preserve them.

Biography: Riley grew up as an only child two loving musician parents. He worked hard in school, and made many friends, and bitter enemies. His sense of loyalty drove him into many fights in protection of his friends, much to the dismay of his parents. Despite this, he grew to be a happy and healthy boy, practising guitar with diligence. On the day of his graduation he enlisted. His marksmanship skill was noted quickly, and he was drafted into a sniper team. His relationship with his squad mates grew quickly, and they became the brothers he never had, nicknaming him "Nero" in fashion of nicknaming each other after Roman emperors. His spotter, an older man named David became his prime confidant. The older man always seemed to have an answer, and his quiet wisdom comforted Randy throughout his trials. David died in a freak accident while on a routine mission, and the death hit Riley like a truck. The flurry of callous government officials and rude officers did little to help him, and he was shoved, confused and in grief, into Delta Green.

Family/Relationships:
Randy & Judice Davis- Randy's parents, have been supportive of his military career.
David Fletcher- Randy's spotter and closest friend (deceased)
Frank Norman- Commanding officer
Edward Symes- Former squad mate
Joseph Turner- Former squad mate

Skills: Marksmanship, Hand-to-hand, Guitar

Story: Riley and David's mission was simple; set up on the fourth floor of the apartment building, and watch the crossroads. Things went smoothly at first, with their trip to the building uneventful. They set up in a suitable window, and settled in to watch. And watch they did, two hours passed uneventfully. Riley yawned, and David noticed something peculiar. The crossroads seemed to shift, the image through the binoculars warping.
"D'you see that?" He asked Riley.
"Yeah, isn't that the heat?" Riley replied. He had noticed the shimmer as well, but not at this intensity.
"That's not heat. Something's not right. I'll check things out, you cover me, alright?" The man said, rising to his feet and picking up his assault rifle. Riley nodded, trusting the older man's judgement, and watched the road through his scope. A few minutes passed, and he saw David crouching by a tree, watching the swirl. David approached it warily, and Riley saw with alarm thousands of bats appear out of thin air, swarming his comrade. The man disappeared in the swarm, the clump of pure black shifting and turning. Riley watched in shock as the swarm returned, vanishing into the shifting air. David's corpse was no more than a skeleton in clothes, with the occasional clump of bloody and torn flesh. Lowering his rifle, Riley's hands shook. His voice was also shaky as he repeated words into his radio, words he prayed he would never have to say.
"Squad member down."
