The Night is Still Young
It's been 100 years. 100 years since mankind had gone through the biggest evolutionary jump; a jump, to the future. Through technology, humanity had been able to uncover the secrets of atmospheric and weather conditions, changing it with the click of a button. A satellite, located in Earth's Thermosphere, is able to disperse nanobots, capable of changing a rainy day into a gorgeous sunny day or stopping a tornado before it even touches the crust of the Earth. Of course, through the different world powers of the Earth, it was decided upon that every country should come together to form a federation of alliances. This--in turn--gave the power of the satellite, Icarus, absolute control over the world to one person, the leader of this newly formed federation. Soon after the development of Icarus, and it's announcement to the world, something...odd was discovered. Strange incidents had begun to develop, such as some people experiencing certain needs, having inhuman abilities, and developing elongated canine teeth. From ancient mythology, such beings were categorized as, vampires and were made a global threat. Big corporations were hired by the Federation to exterminate said beings for good, and in turn, the Federation would allow these corporations to have some participation in the Federation, as well as the freedom to do whatever. Corporations had developed endless amounts of weapons, technology, and bionics to assist their 'hunters' in capturing and killing vampires. Through time, these corporations had gained more control over the Federation, eventually obtaining absolute control. Every election for the new Chancellor--leader of the Federation--was rigged by the corporations, planting the people they wanted elected. When Thomas Chassetu III was elected as Chancellor, he and the corporations had sought control over the entire world, by creating the largest 'utopia' in existence. Patagonia was the third 'utopia' to be constructed, and the highest populated.

Vampire Species Explained
~ Full Bloods: Full blooded vampires can simply depicted as what is seen in horror films. They have pale skin/complexion, prefer gothic looks, and are gifted with supernatural abilities. They can be born a vampire [must have two vampire parents] or can be bitten. They're weaknesses are lack of feeding [life essence, commonly blood], no reflections, garlic, bright lights [on par to the luminosity of our sun], and holy water and crosses burn them, as they are blessed by God [Divine being].
~ Half-Bloods: Half-bloods are a unique combination of human and vampire DNA. While they retain human aspects [i.e. normal human skin/complexion, can see their reflections, etc.] they are weaker than Full blooded vampires. Out of preference, and their retained humanity, Half-bloods prefer to drink animal blood; although, human blood does act as a 'buff' for half-bloods, increasing their power strength--for a limited amount of time. In addition, unlike full bloods, half-bloods can eat and absorb the nutrients of normal human food. As for weaknesses, they must feed on blood at least once a month, garlic dampens their abilities, and fire can burn them.

For Half-Bloods:
Hunters are hired mercenaries from the corporations. They are equipped with the latest, most modern, and lethal, bionics, and have a wide variety of an arsenal at their disposal. Trained to peak perfection, Hunters are the ultimate enemy to a vampire.
Police:
Similar to the Hunters, the police have access to an arsenal, just not as large nor powerful. They do, however, have access to the same bionics and are allowed, by the law of the Federation, to have two bionics installed in them. While not trained to the same peak as Hunters, Police are the next best thing.

Klaus Pillion: Where most of the residents in Patagonia reside, as well as the big corporations and the Police HQ
Chinatown: A district in the lower left corner of Klaus Pillion. Here, the majority of commercial properties and restaurants are located.
Slums: Less than a mile away from Klaus Pillion, the slums is where most of the criminals reside and where the majority of the crimes occur
Lush Club: A highly populated nightclub...for vampires and any mortal who's brave enough to step inside
High Reise: A small suburban community that is within Klaus Pillion. Most of the human population, and some vampires, prefer this quiet environment

- You're a citizen of Patagonia
- You can be a vampire [half-blood or full blood], hunter, law enforcement operative, or a normal human.
- This RP will take place in 2119 and will have cyberpunk aspects
- Majority of the time, Patagonia is constantly dark and it's always raining [whether it be lightly raining or pouring down]
- The law enforcement of Patagonia are on neither side of this 'secret war'. They are afraid of what the vampires can do, but they believe in the right to a fair trial, not automatic death
