General Information

Name:
Ciel S Lebau
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Bodytype: Heavy Hourglass yet toned muscle
Height: 5' 10"
Hometown: New Orleans, Louisiana
University Program: Medical (Forensic Pathology) / Psychology (Behavioural Science)
Hero Name: Rive, The Sunder Hero

Personality Information

Personality:

Following a unique method induced by her parents during her childhood, Ciel was artificially induced with two distinct personalities both masculine and feminine creating a disconnection with their real identity. In her feminine personality, she is passive, polite and seemingly always calm albeit somewhat distant. She walks with excellent posture at a leisurely pace referring to themselves in a fairly neutral manner. In her masculine personality, she is instead rough and sarcastic by contrast. Cocky and short-tempered she carries herself in a relaxed and casual manner. Psychologists have confirmed that such is not, in fact, a Dissociative Identity Disorder and perhaps a direct result of their parents quirk to create a split in infancy to allow each to develop with distinct focuses and full individuals in their own right, both personally having their own distinct manner of speaking and perhaps the reason behind several of their peculiarities as a result.

Despite their intelligence, such seems to have limited impact on their major decisions, choosing to live mostly by feelings alone and in a somewhat animalistic manner dividing things between good or evil as well as people simply "Those she can be with" and "Those she cannot be with", this does not however seem related however to if she dislikes or likes the individual. In this sense they also seem to exhibit a somewhat paradoxical approach to some items, choosing to be drawn and pursue items they claim to dislike much to the confusion of observers. There have however been concerns that her upbringing, as well as the nature of her quirk, has resulted in the development of ingrained problems that deeply affect her world view.

Strengths and Flaws:
Strengths: Analytical, Athletic, Creative, Direct, Determined, Intelligent, Perceptive, Willpower
Flaws: Blunt, Inconsistent, Impersonal, Limited adherence to social norms, Stubborn, Unsettling Hobbies

Likes and Dislikes:
Likes: Anatomy, Blades, Dance, Dueling, Moving, Parkour, Plastination, Swordplay, Strawberries, Walks, Whitling
Dislikes: Cheap/Fragile Items, Cold, Cold Foods, Dogs, Excuses, Flowers, Lies, Pity

Quirk Name: Redline
Level of Control: B
Description:
A unique emitter quirk focused on the eyes of the user whose exact function is debated between being an advanced form of perception or a unique form of energy projection. Ciel claims the quirk allows her to see "Lines of Finality" that when force is applied to those exact locations creates a severing of the target regardless of its innate durability. The full extent of this ability is still fairly unclear as they have produced a wide array of results outside simply cutting, displaying several uses of this ability that cause confusion such as when they managed to heal the poisoning of a senior hero, Ciel once again being cryptic towards her methods about being able to cut "Nothing and Everything" implying the ability may also be conceptual as well as physical. Cuts created have also appeared to inhibit healing through regenerative quirks or natural methods, requiring such to be physically closed with an outside force.
Dream Matchup: Defensive/Barrier Quirks, Close Combat
Nightmare Matchup: Stealth and Indirect Quirks, Long Range
Signature Move: Redpoint, by striking the point were multiple lines connect they can cause a chain reaction of destruction rather than a single cut.
Advantages:
The quirk itself has an extreme degree of offensive capabilities able to bypass a wide range of defensive abilities resulting in limiting the effectiveness of blocking, deflecting or parrying blows which can provide fatal openings for those unaware. This can also extend by overcoming projections through superior offence, the highest degree of this being their super move "Redpoint" which strikes where several lines interconnect resulting in a chain reaction of all lines being severed for catastrophic results.
Disadvantages:
Depending on the tool used the range of this quirk is limited primarily to melee requiring them to close the distance to properly combat ranged opponents, in addition, they require a direct line of sight to the areas being targeted with exposed eyes and so tinted lenses in front of their eyes or other alternate vision devices disabling their ability. Prolonged use of this ability may result in mental overload with the influx of information is at a level that mind struggles to cope with often resulting in migraines or worse if they go beyond their limit without rest, and given the constant activation of their quirk they will be required to either conceal their eyes in some manner or close them. Finally, the use of this ability must be carefully applied given the potential lethality of such, with partial cuts are not possible resulting in indirect uses often being required. There are however certain other materials capable of stopping this ability, most notably the newly developed alloy of Quirktardium.

Background Information
Aspirations:
To understand mortality and human nature
Goals: To unify both sides of her self, To redeem the family legacy
Backstory:
The orphan child of the villain duo known as the Red Lions consisting of her Father Severus Delacroix aka Split and Mother Divina Delacroix aka Clause, Intended to be raised to follow in their stead until their believed death in a hero conflict at age 6. As a result, she would be taken in by her Aunt and be raised within a plantation estate to the outskirts of New Orleans, however, such would prove to be a highly demanding upbringing attempting to purge the effects of her sister's influence culminating in Ciels desire to pursue the hero lifestyle. The primary hurdle throughout most of her life has been carrying the stained legacy of her parents resulting in a great amount of distrust from those who learned of her heritage, even more so as her quirk became known and its effects observed, resulting in a great deal of animosity from both other children as well as the hero community whom lost a great deal by her parents hands. Fast forward several years and despite all beliefs and many objections, they would successfully gain admission to the Dark Haven as they continue both her education and heroic career in hopes of overcoming her heritage and follow the path she had chosen. Alienated by the hero community she instead seeks to cut the path she chooses to break free.

Other Information
Trivia:

  • Trained from an early age their physical conditioning appears to approach the inhuman in physical feats they are capable of. Most notably in their speed, movements, accuracy, dexterity and agility, this is made extremely clear in their ability to seemingly erase their presence once sight is lost with graceful and silent movements.
  • Proficient in both FMA and Various other bladed martial arts combined with Bajiquan, they have also undergone sensory deprivation training and proven capable of functioning without several of their senses, most notably sight.
  • They are known to own a wide assortment of tinted glasses in various designer brands, it believed that the colour and style of such is directly connected to their present personality and emotional state.
  • Their costume has been constructed for maximum mobility while still providing protection from up to small arms fire and blades using a custom Nomex and Nano-fibre weave with added protection at various vital locations. Additional support has been located within their feet and hands to absorb and dissipate impacts even from great heights. Other features appear to consist of a basic communication system and compressions across wounds.
  • Atop the base costume, they carry an advanced full arm gauntlet with incredible protection and shock absorption properties in addition to other features such as a grapple gun function, it's most notable being augmenting the speed and strength of their arm though only in a single direction, similar in nature to creatures such as crocodiles focusing all strength into closing the Jaws.
  • While in costume they carry a number of concealed blades most notably resembling sharpened sword breakers, In addition to a long blade across their back, coloured smoke grenades and a stocked first aid kit.
  • (Reserved for Additional Points)

·͇·͇·͇͇·͇͇͇ TAL ͢҉̸OS SIDERIS ·̿̿̿̿·̿̿̿·̿̿·̿

Talos Sideris
/ Τάλως Σιδέρης
Age: 28
Quirk: Technoadaptation

"No man is liberated from fear who dare not
see his place in the world as it is; no man can
achieve the greatness of which he is capable
until he has allowed himself to see his own littleness."

Quirk Information█

Quirk Name: Technoadaptation
Level of Control A to C

Description | The most noticeable and best-controlled part of his quirk is cybernetic self-augmentation.
Talos is able to fashion artificial materials (most commonly metal or plastic) into parts of his own body. The process is almost entirely intuitive: once he decides where it should go and what its purpose should be, it will change shape down to a microscopic level to accommodate those demands, and connect itself to other (organic or artificial) parts.
Simple ingredients produce more basic results: he'd make a better-functioning arm (for example) out of a mixture of metals, plastics and wires than just from a single lump of material.
Repairing still-attached parts of his body requires removing them before he can reattach them, reshaping them in the process, although he can add new things onto existing artificial parts, either patching them up or upgrading them. Often it's a trial and error process for something long-term, though.

He has less control over the secondary part of his quirk: instead of creating limbs or organs for himself, he can create automatons from metal or plastic. Again, it works intuitively, with the materials working themselves into the shape that he wants: the difference is that he prevents it from joining onto his body at the end of the process.
However, these creations do not last long, and the larger and more complex the creation (for example, if he is using them as a remote camera), the shorter its lifespan and the more likely it is to malfunction. Their main use in combat is for scouting, testing for or setting traps, causing confusion or acting as decoys. At the end of their lifespan, or if they are otherwise destroyed, they collapse and fall apart, a halfway mixture between what they used to be and what they were transformed into.

Advantages | The potential to adapt to almost any situation, both off and on the battlefield. Damage to his artificial body causes unsteadiness at most, but no pain. A basic level of technopathy: by using his quirk he can begin to assimilate machinery into his body, and halt the process as soon as a link is established, allowing a flow of information but nothing else. Ability to see ahead, lay traps or draw out others through the use of automatons.

Drawbacks | Repairing still-attached parts of his body requires removing them and then reshaping and reattaching them, which can take time. The quirk being intuitive means that outside of it, his knowledge of technology (including manually hacking into other systems) is limited. There is comparatively little organic flesh remaining, meaning that he relies almost entirely on his quirk to function, heal or upgrade himself.
It is possible for him to add things such as extra limbs (and that is the main way that he starts to make automatons, introducing them as a new limb), but it would take a long time for his brain to adapt to controlling them with precision. Similarly, on their removal he would have to relearn how to adapt all over again. The way that his body is now is a result of many years, adjusting to one new addition at a time, or trying things out and growing bored, replacing them again.

Further Physical Description█

The image shown above is his base body, minus the cables, and due to the nature of his quirk and his attitude towards it, his style in battle and everyday life does not differ. What's more likely to change is his body itself, as he alters or swaps parts for efficiency or his own amusement. He speaks with an artificial, androgynous voice, that reads the micromovements of his larynx and converts it into sound, all coming from a motionless mask.

Body Type | He is close to 7 feet tall, which is quite obviously due to cybernetic alteration, but not heavily built, which may not be. It's difficult to tell.

Under the mask | The remaining organic parts of his body are his head, neck and upper torso, but even those parts are encased in artificial materials. This means that his digestive system is extremely limited, and although he still has his old heart and lungs, he relies on his quirk and the intuitive way that it works to keep him alive.
Over the years, and with the help of various unlicensed surgeons, he has gradually whittled down his body to what he considers essential, but is always looking to "upgrade" more of himself.
He still has his face but constantly wears a mask, the exact design of which varies each upgrade. He also still has his eyes and his ears, although while the mask is on he doesn't use them, the audio and visual information fed directly into ports on his temples that lead to his brain. The only time the mask is removed is for repairs, leaving him feeling deafened and blind while he temporarily adjusts to normal human senses. He can lift the mask without unplugging himself, for example to eat, but often he will sustain himself with a delicious nutritional slurry that can be fed directly into his body, and is far less effort overall.
Without the mask, he is an ugly sight: grey-soft skin, kept moist with an oily substance to avoid the skin drying out. A lifetime of never needing to use expression has left his face without lines, and he long since removed his hair and teeth to avoid the inconvenience of it interfering with his upgrades. He would rather maintain the illusion that there is nothing organic left in his body at all, but he is otherwise not ashamed of how he looks and doesn't see what all the fuss is about ugliness.

Personal Information█

Attitude | Talos considers himself to be something more than human, the next logical step, albeit still not complete. That said, he does not look down on (other) people: if anything he feels sorry for them. He also has a limited sympathy for people being injured or scarred: bodies are a plaything, a temporary house while we experience the universe, and they don't matter. People change their clothes, their hair, they tattoo or otherwise modify their body, so why should anything else be any different?
Maybe if he ever snapped out of this attitude, the realisation of what he has done to himself, or what he has lost, would break him completely.
Instead, he looks ahead: in a rather non-robot-like way he loves the world, and finds beauty in many things. He would love to live forever, to see the mountains and valleys of human achievement and despair. Either they go extinct and leave him to walk alone on a planet that heals itself and overruns with feral greenery, or they advance to the stars, and he can see a hundred different sunrises on a hundred different worlds. He thinks he would prefer the latter, and for more people to join him, sharing experiences and knowledge and memories, building up one giant consciousness that is made up of them all.

We may only each be teeth on one of thousands of cogs in the universe's machine, but how wonderful it would be to experience one's own insignificance by witnessing the greatness of the whole.

Background | Technically, Talos considers himself an "it" rather than a "he", but the grammatical nightmare that produces alone means that most people refer to him as a him. That said, there is no real confirmation that he ever was a "he". His age is also his best guess, his name sprouted from nowhere, and there's no evidence that he ever so much as set foot in Greece.
In keeping with his thoughts on the temporary notion of bodies, he seems to view official documentation as flexible and ultimately unnecessary.
Due to the shady company he kept, such as the "surgeons" that could help him replace more and more of his body, he ended up owing some unpleasant favours to some unpleasant people. His response to this was to vanish, travelling from state to state, dispatching those he could along the way, until he wound up in Texas. By this time he was rather disillusioned with gangs and crime, and though his personal pursuers seemed to have given up he was now seeing similar people everywhere.
He had (and has) no real sense of justice or anger towards these people, and could appreciate moral ambiguity as much as anyone, but he had become rather good at killing them. It's probably around this time that he started to really let go of material things and a sense of stability.
Still, he sought out the Ángeles, potentially the worst-kept secret in the state, and more or less announced that he'd be assisting them. Being somewhat recognisable, he opted to live at the base, along with his growing collection of scraps. He's teaching himself piano.

Aspiration | His ultimate goal is to find someone to help him do what he has never been able to: convert his brain. It is easy to add the replacement part, then cut off the useless organic component once the machinery has taken (easy, but not painless). But he is unable to complete his transformation and fully upgrade his body, including the brain, while still retaining a sense of self. There's also the worry that he might cut out the part that controls his quirk, leaving him unable to function at all. But if he can find out a way to bypass it, then he can help others to transcend too, let go of it all, share their minds with each other and see the beauty in the world the way that he does.

Motivation | Curiosity. Something new to do while waiting for the world to either end or improve. More importantly: in an organisation with such talent and ambition, there must be someone who can help him reach his goal of becoming complete.

Likes | Bodies of water. Learning new things. Quick-thinking people. Music. Cats.
Dislikes | Materialism. Messy food. Wilful ignorance. Vanity. Pollution.

Combat Information█

Current modifications | Talos's limbs are light and built for speed, whereas the remaining parts of his organic body are more armoured and durable. Although not totally immune to bullets or blades, he's certainly resistant, although it depends where he's hit. To fight he uses knives, but is more fast than strong. Compared to the rest of him, his arms and legs are fragile (though less so than ordinary human flesh and bone) and can more easily become damaged or jammed, especially the hands.
His mask is not part of his body in the way that other things are, but is still important, as visual and audio feedback bypasses his eyes and ears, sent directly to his brain. He has the ability to see in an expanded spectrum, from infra-red to ultra-violet, giving him night vision, and hear outside of the usual human frequency range. If he is focusing on a quiet sound and has opened up the sensitivity of his hearing, it's possible for sudden loud noises to cause damage: for this reason his sight and hearing is kept to regular sensitivity unless he makes the conscious decision to do otherwise.
He keeps his blades hidden in his limbs that can be removed or show themselves when necessary. However, he does not use guns, as he has never been able to synthesise or manipulate them. Perhaps this is due to them having no real biological counterpart, or purely a lack of interest.

Dream Matchup | A quirk that relies on biological feedback would be disrupted by Talos's body, or the way that he processes information, if not being entirely ineffective. Similarly, poison quirks or those that need to touch the skin would have a hard time activating.
Nightmare Matchup | Intense heat or cold would cause damage to his artificial body as much as the organic one. Electricity or a technopathy quirk would potentially disrupt the connection between his brain and his body. An opponent that keeps their distance is also troublesome, unless he can lure them out with an automaton.

Signature Move | Got your nose Assimilation
I hope you weren't too attached to your weapon or your armour, μαλάκας.
He can use his ability to "steal" things that he gets a hold of, reshaping them and either adding them to his body or letting go (resulting in a crude automaton that may just expire immediately). It is less for use and more to take them out of the hands of the enemy. He also needs to be close enough for it to feasibly join his body in the first place, which is the difficult part.

watching too much TV, I'm an actor in a puppet show
there's so much stuff in my life, no room for me to grow
one day I'm gonna break from my life, due south down to Mexico
I'm gonna burn down my house, it's the only way to let it go.

Personal Information

Background |
When Carter was a young boy.... His parents were murdered by a villain. So he wanted to become a hero more then anything. He trained and trained his quirk, and even joined a hero school. But he quit. He claims they weren't teaching him fast enough. He also disagreed with how they left non-violent 'villains' alone. As in people he considered villains. So instead he decided to become a Vigilante. Most often acting as a for-hire vigilante to get money.

Motivation | He just wants the people he considers bad to go down. He doesn't want anyone else to be killed by them. Also money. money is good too.

Quirk Description | The user has bright cyan blood running through his veins that is immensely hot when his quirk activates he develops demon-like traits in the form of horns or antenna along with black skills running across the bottom half of their arm and the bright blue glowing claws on their hands that are highly heated. Their legs are the same. In this state they are stronger more durable and faster but not much more so than a human only about 5% more. Their vision is increased as well specifically in night vision with their irises glowing a bright blue.
Hyper-mode:
Hyper mode is a state that becomes active when the user feels immense anger or gets extremely upset. this state is most noticeably identified by the users eyes turning completely bright blue along with what seems like cracks coming away from the eyes in a bright blue as well when in this state, the user becomes even faster and stronger but less durable. With all the cracks forming across their body their blood has heated up so much that their body doesn’t know what to do with it making a steak very dangerous to stay in for too long but it is hard to remove user from the state as well unless he could come down staying in the state too long can cause External, internal and permanent injury along with, If the state is stayed in too long possibly even death.

Felicitas Avila Ibán

580315

Age |Young Adult

Body Type | Feminine stature, albeit with fairly defined musclemass

Markings | A thin cloud of freckles along the face, sporadic burn marks on her right upper arm

Style/Outfit | Casual and short, definitely nothing to stand out

Battle-wear | The same as regular wear, Avila believing that hero costumes are nothing more than petty marketing

Personal Information
Background |
Hailing from a mid-established Cuban family, that is to say, poor, Avila spent most of her childhood attending lacklustre public education. Even in the far present, she found, nations and peoples were unequal, with north American nations filled to the brim with those who proclaimed themselves as heroes, making any costs upon lives unlikely at all times. At the same time, her poor, beautiful Cuba experienced hurricane, landslide and earthquake one after another, a "hero" seldom appearing to save hearts and minds. The Cuban government could barely afford to pay another set of state employees favourably enough, and so, most gifted Cubans departed for mainland America instead. Avila always found this shameful, regardless of how hypocritical that would end up being. It was when she first entered a rundown library at peak teenage-hood that all of her thoughts started to make sense, understanding of the world's inequality unwinding. She discovered and read through the works and biographies of pre-quirk philosophers and revolutionaries, operating within the so-called socialist way of thought, and she felt that as old as they were, these works still easily applied to the modern situation. Money, name and fame, all of these things should be worthless in the mind of a hero. Yet still, through the force of blind consumerism, Avila thought, the word itself lost all of its meaning. Then, motivation started to burn inside her. A hero should be someone who comes to aid without compensation, not shouting their name, but a just cause instead. These realisations made her rush to help whenever a natural disaster occurred, when a murder took place or when people were robbed of their justice. Cuba is small, and so at least some noticed, especially the authorities, which were not especially happy. Before their vengeance could take place, however, Avila set off for northern Mexico, following the case of a villain who escaped there through bribery. Since arrival, unable to track said criminal down, Avila opted to seek out the vigilante "Ángeles de la Muerte" after overhearing of their exploits and "final justice" ideology. Once in, she made herself at home around the Mexican border, still looking to accomplish what she had set out to do on Cuba.

Motivation | To shake down the idea of "justice at a price"

Likes | Sea-sides, the will to take action, exotic fruits, the sound of marching feet, Cuba

Dislikes | Consumerism, materialism, couch revolution, selfish heroism, any food that's longer than it should be as dictated by common sense

Combat Information
Quirk Name |
Pressure-wave

Level of Control | B

Quirk Description | This quirk generates blast waves from zipper-like openings coming vertically down the center of each of the user's palms. It does this by firstly consuming an unspecified amount of air from anywhere around the user, storing it, and, over the course of a few seconds, (defined by square meters of air consumed) concentrating it and amplifying its pressure. To gauge final power, the air's total pressure is multiplied by a constant, the size of which is different based on the current wear of the user. At will, the user may then release a small head of dense, faster than sound moving air of drastically higher pressure than that of its surroundings, acting as a pressure front and blast wave. When joined together with the shock waves inevitably accompanying them, these blasts are capable of inflicting as much damage as a grenade, or more if given enough air and time.

The drawbacks to this are the time needed between uses and the thinning of the air around the user, making it an especially weak quirk in unspacious and closed-off areas. On the other hand, it can prove to be rather effective on the outside and in places with strong air currents.

Dream Matchup | A quirk to create air, need to operate in open spaces or have decreased mobility

Nightmare Matchup | One to compete for air with, any to operate in small places, a quirk with high shock absorbtion

Drawbacks | Air thinning

Weapons & Gear | Sometimes carries around an improved old design machine pistol.

-NAME- Ricardo "Ricky" Rodrìguez

580451
Age | 17

Body Type | Short and lean, standing at around 5'5"

Markings | A couple of scars on his arms but not much else

Style/Outfit | Typically consists of just a red jacket and jeans, if it is warm he opts for cooler clothing consisting of shorts and a t-shirt. In extreme heat he wears no shirt. Anything that minimizes sweating. He has a special brand of clothing that resists his acid so we can keep this rp from being NSFW.

Battle-wear | A black, heat regulating jumpsuit with blue lines that run along the sides of his shoulder. The suit collects sweat and funnels it into a small plastic canister on the side of each of his arms that is able to spray his quirk effectively. It bears a utility belt in case he needs to store something but other than that it is pretty simple.

Personal Information

Background |
Ricky was born in Mexico and moved to Texas when he was young. His family was poor, so Ricky never attended any of the fancy hero skills other kids could. Instead, he attended a rundown school in his neighborhood. His quirk created complications making friends, as the teachers were very cautious with Ricky due to the dangers that his quirk could have on other kids if he began to sweat. He was unable to play sports with others and struggled making friends due to coming off as different. As he grew older, this became less of an issue but the feelings of loneliness were still present.

Rather than being raised on the common professional heroes, he was more attracted to Stain's ideology of true heroes not guided by coin. He looked down upon many of the wealthy kids who attended the hero schools, the ones he would see at festivals and during their internships. Many of them were guided by the glory and greed of the job, looking for the positions that gave them the most prestige.

When he was seven years old he was taken for ransom due to his parents owing money. Instead of a hero coming to his rescue, Ricky was instead saved by a group of vigilantes who opposed this specific group. This would be what attracted him to the vigilante life. Ricky eventually convinced the group to train him at the age of 15. He dropped out of school and lived with this group like they were his family. He was a fast learner, using his quirk to melt through steel or flesh if he needed. The group taught him when to kill and when to spare someone. He learned that some villains were far too intoxicated with greed to be allowed to live. Through this group, he eventually got acquainted with the "Final Justice," which fit his skill set. With his connections he was able to join the “Angelos de la Muerte" as a member.

Motivation | Ricky does not believe that violent criminals will ever change and need to be disposed of.

Likes |
- Swimming - Ice Cream - Snow - Watching TV - Chemistry

Dislikes |
- The Sun - Snakes - Spicy Foods - Reading - Greed

Combat Information

Quirk Name |
Acidic Sweat

Level of Control | D

Quirk Description | Acidic Sweat is a mutation quirk that changes sweat and spit into an acidic compound that causes anything it touches to slowly melt depending on the material. It also causes excessive sweating and slobbering when prompted by things such as anxiety or heat. Ricky is immune to his own quirk due to having skin and muscles adapted for it, so it causes no harm to himself.

Dream Matchup | Is incredibly strong against quirks that rely on defense or close-quarters combat.

Nightmare Matchup | Struggles against quirks that are good at range or increased mobility.

Drawbacks | Ricky has little control of when his quirk is active or when it stops for the most part. His suit does help him to produce sweat by regulating temperatures, but things such as anxiety can create it unexpectedly in unwanted situations. Being in cold weather also makes this quirk a lot weaker as less sweat will be produced and Ricky is forced to rely on spit instead, which is not even an option if it freezes. Since his quirk is unpredictable, he is generally difficult to work with.

Quirk Science | Ricky's skin is lined with a thin film-like membrane that prevents the acid from burning done to his bone, much like stomach lining. His acid works best against organic substances, spreading through anything that contains moisture. To melt anything like steel, Ricky has to be making contact with it directly.

Signature moves | Acid Rain: With maximum sweat, Ricky is able to produces lots of sweat that he flings onto the roof, dripping onto anyone that happens to be in the room.

Age | 37

Body Type | Slim and slightly muscular.

Markings | A few scratches and nicks here and there but nothing significant

Style/Outfit | Reyes is fond of more clothing than less in regards to dressing themself, Though it's rarely very clean. Even in hotter climates. He almost always wears a hat of some sort and a large poncho that is somewhat cleaner than the rest of his clothing.

Battle-wear | Under their layers of clothing they wear a Kevlar vest for protection, but otherwise their ‘work’ outfit isn’t any different than their day to day.

Personal Information

Background |
Reyes Hewwit was not the oldest or the youngest child in his family. Just one of an unknown number of siblings to a pair of poor parents. He dosn’t have much of a memory about his family, He remembers a baby, a trip to the hospital… discovering his quirk and than another, much longer, car ride.

He Remembers the Hewwit’s. The foster family he was placed with when he was four years old after being abandoned in an El Paso Police station With a small note explaining his troublesome quirk.

The Hewwit’s were nice enough. They took care of him, took precautions to counteract and help him master his quirk to a degree. They expected him to work. Pushing him not in his studies or school work but to get a job make more money, help make ends meet. It was tough when he was younger but he got used to it. The only reason he graduated high school was because he was required to go to school by the foster system.

He liked the Hewwit’s they were in a way hero’s to him, helping him when he was young and defenseless. But The day he turned 18 they kicked him out with little more than the cloths on his back and the change in his pocket. He was heart broken, having thought of this couple as his family for a decade and a half he never expected this. They made it clear that he wasn’t wanted anymore and they needed to make room for the next foster kid so the government would keep paying them.

He wanted to strike out but he held back. He could already see them panting and there mouths clicked as they talked with how dry they were.

Reyes pulled in his control and left.

He was a drifter for a time. Though he didn’t stray far from El Paso as that was his home. He’d often fantasize about what it would have been like to go off to collage or one of the hero schools and be like those bright figures that were always in the news.

But he wasn’t bright. Reyes was gritty and dirty and not meant to be a hero. His quirk couldn’t save people he only hurt them. Why else would his family… both families throw him out.

One evening while checking his normal route for loose change, food, a dropped cig, anything he heard a scream from a familiar alleyway. He rushed down to see a man attacking a young woman and something in him snapped. The hero’s weren't here but he was… He attacked, sloppy taking far to many hits himself but in the end the man fainted… dehydrated in a pool of his own sweat that was slowly making its way away from Reyes. The woman hugged him and sobbed. Thanked him. Called him a Hero.

He was a Hero… to at least one person.

It opened his eyes. Sure hero’s dealt with big problems. But who saved the poor people in back allies. Who stopped random attacks, small time robberies ordinary crimes that the police just let slip through their fingers? Who would save the poor kids like him? Who dreamed of being a hero only to be discarded and have those dreams crushed…

The second time, and the third time he killed them. At first it scared him but in the end it was easier than balancing that line between just enough violence and too much.

More attacks and ‘hero’ work and he started to develop his own code, his own path.

Motivation | Reyes always idolized heroism but due to both his quirk and family situation he was not cut out for the hero academia. So he developed his own warped sense of Heroism and wants to rid the world of villains in his own way.

Likes | Reptiles, Cheeseburgers, reading, sleeping, social interaction.

Dislikes | Baths, Drinking water, inconvenience, Rain, Being alone.

Combat Information

Quirk Name |
Hydrophobic

Level of Control | B-

Quirk Description | Reyes emits a hydrophobic barrier around himself causing water and liquids to bounce off of it. If he focuses he can expand and reduce the barrier as well as expel the liquid and moisture out of an object or being causing it to shrivel and dehydrate. Reyes’ idol range is about two feet around his body at any given time. His maximum range is six feet in any given direction. It takes around two to three minutes for an average sized person to experience symptoms of dehydration and a half an hour to fully mummify someone.

Dream Matchup | Any liquid body quirks, or Liquid control quirks

Nightmare Matchup | Stone or metal body quirks, Those that do not require hydration to exist.

Drawbacks |
His quirk makes it very difficult for him to do everyday things. Like, eat, drink and bath. (Not that he does that last one all that often) It's also impossible for him to fully turn it off without focusing on it.

Weapons & Gear | A Kevlar vest and a pair of brass knuckles that help his punches pack a wallop. He often has a preference for steel toe shoes for the rare times he kicks out at an opponent.

Signature moves
  1. Draining Punch. Reyes focus’ their Hydrophobia into a punch causing the punchee to lose a volume of water.
  2. Bystander. Reyes acts the part of a bystander, keeping their target in range while their quirk slowly does its work. When noticed he often acts the part of the annoying pushy homeless person.
Magic Number | 24

Symptoms of dehydration
  • Very dry skin.
  • Feeling dizzy.
  • Rapid heartbeat.
  • Rapid breathing.
  • Sunken eyes.
  • Sleepiness, lack of energy, confusion or irritability.
  • Fainting.

A calm woman, rarely showing intense emotions with an element of carefreeness. Although she was once a mercenary, she is always looking to do the right thing, trying to atone for her past though not the part most would assume. She often acts polite and respectful towards both her team and strangers but can be cocky at times. She is also appreciative of weapons and prefers for them to be treated with care, additionally, She seems to be pretty charming when it comes down to it. Fancying herself as a justice bringing cowgirl and having an appearance to match, she usually makes multiple references to Western films and culture, she also seems to joke about herself being wanted dead by multiple groups and can come across with a bit of sass at times. They do however hold a no tolerance policy to certain criminal elements and a relentless pursuit of such individuals.
Motivation: War on Crime

Likes: Alchohol, Animals, Bullet casting, Bears, Cigars, Classical Firearms, Country Music, Duels, Hands, Pie, Steak, Westerns

Quirk Information
Quirk Name:
Replacement (Mutant)
Level of Control: A
Description:
Possessing a unique control over their own physiology they are capable of severing sections while maintaining independent control over these without detriment provided their brain remains intact. In addition, should a section be lost they may incorporate new sections from donors following a Minute to properly adjust and assimilate the new section. This ability bestows a level of healing once material is rejoined but only against cut sections with other damage healing naturally, though it is of note that their nails themselves do seem to grow at an impossible rate perhaps the cutting aspect of the ability as well as assimilated parts ceasing to deteriorate or rot.
Dream Matchup: Cutting Quirks, Low Mobility
Nightmare Matchup: Heavy Area Effect Quirks
Advantages:
This quirk makes the user practically immune to cutting based attacks while also a remarkable level of durability and extending the range of both melees as well as allowing ranged options.
Disadvantages:
Blunt, Piercing and Elemental Damage will still damage their body as normal in addition should the part be stopped from returning they will be unable to use it until retrieved. Secondly, due to the repeated use of this quirk, they have lost most of the feeling within most of their body.
Weapons&Gear:
Handgun: A unique gauntlet with various finger attachments to increase the impact of her finger gun move as well as allow for various payloads to be attached for additional effects, the item can also be used to hold new fingers in place while they attach.
Golden Arrow: A custom high calibre magnum revolver with pearl grips and incredible stopping power, normally loaded with kevlar piercing hollowpoints it is capable of accepting various other rounds to suit the situation.
Pale Horse: Capable of handling both rifle and shotgun shells in a wide variety from basic buckshot and solid slugs to her unique finger or 2Cent rounds.
Duster: Warn over their outfits when working, the material proves extremely resistant to heat as well as providing remarkable protection with a Nomex and chainmail weave while also reducing their visibility in darker environments. In a pinch, the garment has also shown capable of allowing limited gliding and slowing the fall of the wearer.
Combat Knife: A large but well-made blade built for practicality over any fancy features.
Signature Moves:
Finger Guns: By building the pressure within their body they are capable of firing off limbs like high powered rifle shells before having such return however the longer the range the less control they will have. The main benefit of this, however, is the homing aspect of the shots with the ability for further shots to be built up for a multi-stage round capable of rich shots at unpredictable angles. However, due to the macabre nature of this, the most common method used is instead simply to fire off her nails.
Background Information
Backstory:

Growing up on a farm in El Paso, as a young ruffian she would have a chance encounter with the less savoury elements of the underworld and wrapped up in gang activity until their eventual end at the hand of a rogue member with plans of grandeur. Despite the committing of crimes such as heists, robberies and counterfeiting, they held to a strict code regarding the involvement of bystanders, children and professionalism, yet this would eventually escalate to involvement in the drug trade following said rogue members actions. The involvement would split the gang with several refusing to get involved while others were attracted by the money involved, ending in a shoot out between the group with all but the rogue member and Francine surviving, all be it with a near-fatal wound to her head.

Fortunate for her she would survive following the polices discovery of the location and save her life with urgent medical treatment, however, secured to the bed during the recovery. They would take this opportunity to reevaluate their life and instead turn to clean up the elements that lead to her friend's deaths and the criminal elements in general, yet would be unable to do this in prison so needed to first make an escape. In another stroke of luck, the authorities were unaware of her quirk which allowed them to slip them bonds and begin their current career across the country for the next two decades. Wracking up a high body count in her activities she would eventually come to the direct attention of the Dark Haven organisation, choosing to join in order to further her work with others with a likeminded view on such activities.

Other Information
Trivia:

  • While lacking the running speed of many other heroes, their reflex speed and dexterity is second to none being both a highly accomplished marksman as well as one of the fastest draws in modern times.
  • Despite claims to the contrary they have somewhat of vanity to them, regularly taking parts of deceased criminals that fit to change such as simply as one changes shoes.
  • They actually have a Titanium plate behind their forehead from an injury at an early age through the scar of such is normally hidden below their hair or hat.
  • There Head is, in fact, the only fully original part of their body left.
  • They have been shot over 152 times over the course of their career however most of these were within their early years.

Nanami 'Mimi' Quinn
112ba6f4f13bf6e1ffd1220bd0947740.jpg

Age |20

Body Type | Short and lithe

Background | Against the norms of almost every person with a bug type quirk, Mimi openly admits to being a part of Hive, a large group of people with buf type quirks known for a reputation of morally bankrupt practices and cult-like ideologies. Ever since she arrived at this country, Mimi has been in contact with a number of less than savory people who operate under the law. Her knowledge of them could only be contributed to her claims being valid, but at first she found no luck gaining favor with certain criminals. That changed when she eventually got in touch with the Angels, and she claims she was specifically ordered to aid them fully in their pursuits. Besides this, not many concrete facts are known about Mimi's past.

Motivation | It is the will of the Hive that Mimi aid these Angels in pursuing their goals.

Likes
The Hive
Flying along a gentle breeze
Wrapping herself up in a warm cocoon for the night
Fluffy clothes
Dangling the unenlightened off of high places
Spreading the message of the Hive to all the lonely Bugs of the world
New Converts
Making arts and crafts with her silk.

Dislikes
The smell of burnt silk
Dropping a freshly prepared Ice Cream
Wearing armor of any kind
Having her Antennae touched
Leaving Bugs without guidance

Quirk Name |Silk Moth

Level of Control | A

Quirk Description | She can basically do anything a silkworm moth can do. She can fly due to her small size and use her antennae to smell up to seven miles away. She can also spin silk, which is probably the most versatile tool in her arsenal. She can carefully modify how strong or weak said silk is, and it's also quite sticky right after being spun. She's surprisingly durable for her size thanks mostly to her exoskeleton. She can climb up walls and along ceilings, making her far more stealthy than her bright and joyful attitude would imply.

Dream Matchup | Armor Quirks, she focuses more on subduing opponents than actually doing damage to them.

Nightmare Matchup | Fire quirks, both her and her silk are particularly susceptible to burning. Light Quirks, she's got a habit for being distracted by excessively bright lights

Drawbacks | She can make an immense amount of silk in dicey scenarios, but she does have a limit. After a certain threshold making more silk will cause her to rapidly grow in exhaustion.

Name: Jacqueline ( Jac) Alputa
Age: 19
Gender: female
Markings: none
Motivation: is being forced to help to stay out of jail
Background: the following history may or may not have happened and currently being researched by top men to determine validity thus may or may not represent reality and could be in fact a clever fabrication readers are advices to remember the account can not be trusted .
Jacqueline honestly lived normally not even planning to be a hero or villain, she just went about her life never planning to do much aside from maybe go into medicine. This all ended after a villain attack left people injured and she happened to be nearby. Despite it being illegal Jacqueline decided to help the hurt and healed them, the cops while rather reluctant did arrest her for such blatant quirk use. None really wanted to punish her and she got a sentence of a week, that would be in truth a night not even a smack on the wrist as far as punishment went. Jacqueline accepted spending a night in jail in her own cell and really would have just put this behind her if not for a mistake. The group Dark Haven were planning to break out a criminal with a similar name and use them to fight crime, instead they grabbed Jacqueline and kidnapped her. This put real crimes on Jacqueline's sheet and meant if she showed her face again she would be put away for most of her life. Dark Haven seeing the use in a quirk like her's offered to use their influence to stop her from going to jail, if she worked for them. This leads to her current life, basicly a slave to Dark haven thanks to them holding a life in jail over her head with no intention of ever letting go.
Likes: pain killers, peaceful resolutions, the idea of escape.
Dislikes: Combat, pain, villains, Dark Haven her situation.
Quirk name: Healing touch
level of control: A
quirk description: By touching or being touched Lara can heal just about anything, this includes illnesses, old wounds, new wounds, mental issues, even death for long as brain death hasn't fully occurred.
dream match up: no one
nightmare match up: Anyone
drawbacks: The healing transfers all the pain of the wound to Lara, this also converts normally none painful things like mental issues into pain and transfers that over meaning Lara can only heal for long as her pain tolerance allows her.
weapons/ gear: They gave her a hand gun and a few lessons.

Name | Rei Azuma

Age | 21
Body type | slim and muscular
Markings | none
Style/outfits | trendy, casual cloths
Battle wear | nothing particular. Anything that allows free movement

Backstory | Rei was born in a gang of villains who believed themselves to be “inquisitors of justice”. They hated quirks, considering them a tool for evil more than they are a tool for good, so they banned the usage of any quirks, and focused on excessive physical training. They also focused on killing heroes whenever they could. Rei tho was mainly raised by his mother and older sister, who refused the gang’s ideology. Rei considered them his heroes, for they were the only ones that showed him affection in this cruel place. His sister eventually escaped the gang and became a hero, and Rei was forced into the gang’s tasks more. He hated killing heroes, but he had to. He had no other choice but to obey the rules of the gang, until one night, where he ended up killing his sister without recognizing who she was before it was too late. Rei went on a rampage, understanding the sins he had previously committed, and ended up using his quirk to take down the gang members that tried to step in his way. He then underwent a total turn of character

Motivation | Rei seeks to erase his past, but he couldn’t become a hero due to his previous crimes
Likes | blades, sarcasm, teasing people, dueling, parkours, freedom
Dislikes | rules, living in the past, too much seriousness, authority

Quirk name |Blood link
Description | when Rei’s skin touches someone’s blood, the quirk is activated and he can choose to make one of two options:
1-Wipe off the blood, completely disabling its source’s quirk for a while, and lowering their stamina
2-Inject the blood into his body(usually by licking it): allows Rei to use the blood source’s quirk for a while, and boosts his stamina
Only one of those abilities can be active at once for one specific target.
Level of control | A
Dream matchup | anyone that heavily relies on his quirk, high mobility quirks
Nightmare matchup | robots, armor quirks.
Drawbacks | using the second option on two or more people ate the same titan trigger an immunity response in Rei’s body, harming his health conditions
Weapons/gear
- A katana
-Two blades connected to chains that he ties around his hands. He uses those to collect his target’s blood from a distance.

Eloise Palmer

588526

Age | Late twenties

Body Type | Light to average, with a surprisingly well-built lower body

Markings | Her "nails" are painted with golden arrows, aiming downward

Style/Outfit | Wears clothing almost identical to a nun garb

Battle-wear | Almost identical to casual wear, albeit with the skirt separated into four parts to allow for freer leg movement

Personal Information

Background |
El was born and baptised in a monastery hidden away from the world, somewhere below Mexico. She was brought up by a secret society of people worshipping a mixture of abrahamic and ancient paganistic religions, their primary belief being that for salvation to arrive, humanity must first rid itself of the most evil souls by their own. For this purpose, she was trained and prepared to become a "good-hearted missionary," eventually sent out at the age of 21 to meet civilisation. However, El made sure that her "education" would not be harsh, by nodding along at everything in pretend-convincement, while in truth, talks of Heaven and absolution never amused her mind. All that her upbringing had given her was knowledge of faith, the outside world, a desire for control and lurking, darker urges. Her teachers made sure that she would know well about the systems of society, and so, El figured right away
which path to take. While heroism would leave her under supervision of the state, villainy would reduce her to a target for those performing the former. Because of this, vigilantism appeared the most appealing. Thus, after performing some research and taking upon the personality of a nun who wishes to make the world a better place, much similar to her original intended purpose, El ventured to southern Texas to seek out the Angels of death, having been a member ever since.

Motivation | Goes under the veil of making the world better for humanity, really just wants to enjoy her earthly time

Likes | Philosophy, speed, control, reading, the smell of wine, murder

Dislikes | Spices, quizzes, overconfidence, physics, preachers

Combat Information
Quirk Name |
Arrow Nails

Level of Control | A

Quirk Description | This quirk transforms the nails of its user into layers of dense, silver stickers, which lean onto each other and mimic human nails almost perfectly. The user may separate and shoot off a thin layer from the top of these "nails" through a flicking motion. When the strip comes into contact with a surface, it expands into a golden, metallic arrow-shape. Wide and long by will and about a milimetre thick, the sticker remains upon its contact surface (which may not consist of more than one uniform platform), not actually able to stick anything together. Instead, any object or person that comes into contact with the arrow's top side is rapidly accelerated in the direction it is pointing. This makes the quirk excellent at mobility use, but also dangerous to all, user, friend and foe. Usage requires a sharp mind, for a single miscalculation can lead the user to violently throwing themselves against the nearest wall. The arrows become inactive through sustaining damage, regaining a silver coloration and crumbling away. Alternatively, they may not last for more than 37 seconds exactly. The "nails" themselves regrow at a pace of one layer per twelve hours, totalling at 5 layers per finger at most.

Dream Matchup | Slow and/or unbalanced folk, quirks that require charging

Nightmare Matchup | Hardening quirks, strong AoE's, environment morphing abilities

Drawbacks | help help nail run out

Weapons & Gear | A bayonet at the left hip and a sword-breaker dagger the right, would never leave the base without them.
