Isaac's father had once told him that the Alvares' were made of metal, strong and unfaltering.
He is eight when he burns himself with his own poison while playing around, and he still remembers the nauseating stench of poison and the feeling of the acid eating through his right arm, which, strangely enough, he remembers hurting much less than the stinging handprint imprinted in bright red on his cheek after his father found out.
He is ten when he cuts his hand while picking up the shards of his father's broken wine bottles and eleven when he promises to himself that he'll stop cleaning up his dad's messes.
He is twelve when he breaks his vow because he can't deal with the odor of liquor and smoke in the living room for any longer, fourteen when the smell of alcohol starts to fade along with the bruises of his father's fists, fifteen when he starts to the call his house "home" again, sixteen when becomes someone new, someone stronger, still sixteen when he opens the door to an intoxicated father and another broken promise. he is seventeen and stupid when the shine of his new self starts rubbing off.

Her father was a researcher and worked in one of the detention centers, so growing up she heard about stories of superhumans and what their powers are. It fascinated her. However, her father despised them and believed that the unnatural doesn't belong in this world. One day, she discovered that she can communicate to her dog telepathically when she called it. She hid it from her family because she's scared that her dad might hate her. As she and her family were eating dinner, a man burst in through the door. Fire was covering his body but it didn't seem to hurt him. The man was angry at her father, saying he gave him a hard time at the detention center. He eventually killed her father, mother and her older sister. Selina managed to escape as the man burned their entire house. Since then she stayed with her grandparents and continued to be a good child, but inside her head were gruesome images. As other kids dreamed of fairy tales at night, she was dreaming of revenge.
Every SAI test, she kept seeing the man who killed her family. And every time it happened she killed him in many different ways. One time she commanded him to slit his own throat, the other was she made him choke himself until he turned blue despite his begging. When she turned eighteen, she was sent to the detention center and was only released when she was "fixed". Or so they thought.

- biography - Concord, despite years of trying - has never managed to remember much of his youth. His earliest memories are somewhat of a dazed mix of sex and drugs around the age of seventeen, but that's about it. Logically he can formulate a timeline, and he can understand that he must have gone to a school, and learned from people, and had people he interacted with - but insofar who that was, where that was, or how it played out? Not a clue. Not that he cares much anymore. I mean... he has gotten this far.
He knows that he was part of a house of foster children, and that he left a year before eighteen - running away, after his guardians found out about his favorite pastimes. Made his way into the city, where he got by doing menial jobs for cash here and there. Worked in a library for a while, stacking books, then in a club - serving drinks and then making them himself, screwed a few older women and men so that he could have a place to stay for the evenings where he had none. And slowly built a life for himself. Always moving onto new things. Always growing.
When his powers first appeared he was not entirely sure what to do. They seemed extremely vague, and his control over them was limited at best. - Extremely low pain tolerance. Since Willow can not feel pain she has no tolerance for it. Bad news for the bad guys during pain refection they feel what Willow should feel, making it three times as painful than normal.
- Willow preforms amazingly when the stakes are high. There is not much that Willow can feel, so she constantly seeks out heart pounding activities. The more deadly a foe the more at home she feels.
Personality
Willow is dead inside, that is what most people say about her. No one has ever heard her laugh, but plenty have seen tears. She has weird tendencies, following people around instead of approaching and making friends. She is a very quiet girl, speaking only when spoken to. People confuse her demeanor as being anti social and moody. Willow actually loves people, she assumes that people do not like her, so she keeps her distance. She hates being touched, more out of fear than annoyance. Willow is clearly battling some heavy demons but she is a very basic teenage girl. She dreams about her wedding day, crushes on people who never notice her, and feels most at home in the mall.

- Information Absorption - Nathaniel feeds off information, consuming it with an almost hypnotic fervor. He has an extraordinary mind and can seemingly remember things off the top of his head with ease, even such things as the layout and items in a room he has not entered in many years or something someone said long ago. It also leads to an analytical outlook to the world at large, often examining mundane items as if they were something extraordinary which leads to an ability to comprehend seemingly complex ideas with relative comfort. This can be extremely useful and in some cases satisfying, it makes winning arguments easier after all. Still, Nathaniel would give it up in an instant if he could. Remembering...is a dangerous thing with a past like his own and sometimes, just sometimes, it would be nice to forget.
- Illusion Generation - This is what Nathaniel would call his "fun" power, or his "safety net". He can project things he imagines into existence within a large radius, if only as an illusion and not the real thing. His mind, with great concentration, almost designs the construct he wishes to form in his mind as to project it into the real world, for all to see. Whether it be people, objects or anything that seems reasonable enough to him. Useful for when he wants to blend into a crowd, especially when he can make his own to a staggeringly realistic degree. Also useful for less....lawful things. Though, do casinos have laws against fathoming fake cards into existence to win money? A subset of this ability is being able to affect others. The more dangerous side, if pushed. He can make others see things he wants them to see and not see things he wants hidden, or, and this is the dangerous aspect, trap them in their own mind for a short time. Naturally this comes with drawbacks. To be able to perform these things, requires massive amounts of concentration, and more and more is needed as time continues. Meaning he can't hold them for more than a hour, depending on the illusion at hand. It also drains him, causing massive fatigue, migraines and even physical damage in some cases, like taking a boxers uppercut to the face with all the...blood it involves.

Biography - To say Nathaniel had a messed up early life would be an understatement. His father, a man now thankfully in prison, treated him with a disdain he could never, not even with his analytical mind, truly understand. His treatment as a child is something that has shaped his being completely, his outlook and his personality. More than that, and the worst thing in his mind, he can remember everything in agonizing detail. Everything. His mothers complete ignorance on the matter. His feelings. The experiences. All of it and more. It was during this young age his powers first began to surface. He has theorized in his mind that they might be connected, because for his predicament at the time, the ability to create illusions of ones self proved very useful indeed. Though these are just thoughts more than anything else.
There came a point, a single breaking point when enough was enough. All it took was a simple call to the police, and it was over. At least physically. That sort of lingering pain does not go away behind bars like the person who caused it. As soon as he could, and using his abilities to his advantage in ways of manipulation and earning money, he left. It's not as if his mother cared enough to do something about it anyway. He decided to travel, to see as much as he could, to distract himself and put off thinking. It didn't work. He knew it wouldn't, but he didn't care, he tried nonetheless. He fell into a pit of depression and loneliness, living a lie of a life with "stolen" or "fake" money, dressing in a sophisticated way, whilst staying in run down hostels, reading books, whilst getting drunk every night. Alcohol became his ever sweet crutch. The only thing that made him forget. And if getting black out drunk allowed him to burn away memories, then it was as sweet as honey.
He knew he couldn't run from his past forever, he still does, he is after all, a "smart cookie" as he would put it. But until that time, distractions will do. Whether that means cheating a casino out of it's money with formulated plans of wins and losses, then so be it, not like they need it anyway, after all. And it is rather fun. It is with distraction in mind that he took up the letter to a certain school he had read up on. Schools were places of learning, and he does so enjoy information. If he can get something out of it, then it was a good choice. If not, then it will have at least distracted him for a while, and it's not like he has better places to be.

bee is undoubtedly a people person. her natural kindness and joyful mannerisms has made her somewhat popular in her previous schools. within a relationship, bee has always been more of a listener than a talker and has a talent for getting people to open up to her easily. with a smile that could melt ice caps, she's always presented herself as a person you could immediately trust. but there's always been a feeling of distance. even around those she says that she'd trust with her life, bee would never drop her smile. emotions are dangerous, she'd know as much.
when it comes to altruism, bee has a philosophy similar to what most doctors would have; she'd extend her help to anyone, even the worst of people, an act that many would perceive to be naïve and may very well get her killed someday. she doesn't think anyone deserves to die, and that everyone has a chance for a redemption arc. she's well aware it's a little over-optimistic, but bee strongly believes that it's the right way to go.
despite being sociable, bee tends to be timider in interactions, having trouble interjecting if many people are speaking at once, though she'd happily engage in conversation with anyone she spots alone. what other people may perceive to be humility is actually bee's struggle with self-esteem and inferiority over the level of her powers. prone to jealousy and becoming defensive over this topic, she has acted out previously in completely uncharacteristic fashion, saying and doing things she regretted almost immediately.

[/div][div class=bio][div class=scroll]born chung yue-qin, bianca came onto this earth on 6th march, 1999 in shanghai, china, and lived there for 4-5 years before the family of 3 relocated to dublin ireland for mr. chung's career. her powers as an empath showed early on, and upon telling her parents, had first been met with disbelief then subsequent joy that their daughter was "gifted".sent to a special local school to hone her powers, she was gleeful to be different. bee felt it was an honour to have been selected by some upper being to have these abilities, and perhaps one day help someone with it, though she wasn't sure if she was cut out for any of that superhero business. that was a little too crazy for her.

bee is able to sense and manipulate the emotions of living things near her. passively, bee is already able to sense the auras of the emotions of those closest to her in distance, and if surrounded by too many different emotions, can prove to be very overwhelming for her. she's pushed her tolerance to the point that she can toggle her radar, but have her lose her focus in a large crowd and she just might crack. she is already adept at the technique of social cloaking.

bee can separate her spirit from her body by entering a trance-like, meditative state and gain access of travel to the astral plane. bee is able to enter the dreams of others and manipulate them to some degree. her spirit form is not an empath, and she cannot interact with physical objects or persons. bee is able to visit the dreams of those she knows well and visit the places she's been before, but venturing into the unknown a great distance from her physical location may cause her to dissociate entirely. interruption of the trance while bee is a good distance away will rip her soul back into her body, an action that, if violent enough, may cause permanent mental damage.

He doesn't do this to just close friends - he'll do it to someone he's just met simply because it's what he's used to doing. Thankfully Seong-ho's quick to back down the moment they say it's uncomfortable for them. Seong-ho does know and respect boundaries, but occasionally forgets them, especially when he's excited about something.[/div]

He's also the worst confidante, as he's quick to blab because he doesn't really know if someone's in the inner circle. By making a gun shape with his hands, he's able to take a nearby object and either turn it into a projectile or instantly teleport it to a projected location. The catch is that at his current level, he's unable to control what he teleports. He has, over his years training, figured out a few parameters that govern his power.[/div]
[div class="paragraph"]The first that his power currently takes items from a 10 meter radius, and he can control it up to 15 meters. These items must be non-sentient (animals are safe, but he can take plants). The goods news is he's not limited by mass - the bad news is he has no clue what he'll be throwing out next. He could be throwing a piece of paper one time and then a bowling ball the next (this will be primarily decided OOC-ly via dice roll unless needed for a narrative).[/div]
[div class="paragraph"]Within the 15 meter radius, he has control over the projectile's initial speed (maximum of 125 km/hr) or position. The actual distance travelled, however, can vary greatly depending on the item. A heavy object at high speeds will definitely exceed the 15 meter control radius if he shoots it out like a projectile. But should he choose the instant teleport option, it will stop at 15 meters. He can't control both position and speed. He also has to make sure to aim correctly, or he could wind up hitting his allies.[/div]

To use his power again, the last item he shot must have either finished its movement, or exited his 15 meter control.
