Welcome to Crystal Lake
In 2009 a group of college students mysteriously vanished near Camp Crystal Lake. The authorities were stumped, and rumours began to spread of a masked serial killer living in the woods surrounding Crystal Lake and would kill anyone who set foot on the land. The rumours eventually turned into an urban legend, and the locals decided to turn the once run-down Camp Crystal Lake into a new sort of attraction. Something that would appeal to the masses.
In the summer of 2015, Camp Crystal Lake was re-opened and adopted a new theme, and a new persona. They adopted the "urban legend" and became a sort of weekend get-away where small groups of people could spend the night in the only remaining run-down cabin, and was noted as "one of the most haunted places in America". People travelled from around the country to spend the weekend at Crystal Lake, and the people who stayed the entire weekend without leaving the camp-grounds would win $1,000.
Little did they know that the rumours were in-fact true and the sudden splurge of commotion has awoken Jason Voorhees from his slumber beneath the lake, and the bodies soon begin to pile up.
Overall Details
- You may roleplay one character. I'll be roleplaying Jason Voorhees, and an original character.
- You can be killed off, but NPC/side characters will be most of the characters being butchered.
- The plot will start pretty much right away. You all will be starting in your standard school bus (you don't have to be high-school age. You can be any age) that is travelling to Camp Crystal Lake at around 9pm Friday night. This is where characters will introduce themselves to one another. Eventually, the bus pulls into Camp Crystal Lake, and drops the characters off. The deaths will start pretty soon after this, with the bus driver being one of the firsts.
- The characters should eventually stumble upon Jason's lair from the 2009 film, and the characters will indeed discover the bodies of some of the people from the 2009 film. They all recognize the bodies as the missing college students, and Clay (Jared Padalecki).
- Swearing is allowed, and expect some severe violence since this is a Friday The 13th roleplay.
- Please have good grammar, spelling, etc. We're aiming for a pretty detailed roleplay, with some detailed posts. Don't worry, they don't have to be novel length, or novel quality but they still need to be engaging.
- The roleplay will start when we have about 6-8 characters.

Gender: Male
Bio: Clarke is an aspiring horror writer from British Columbia, Canada and decided to take the challenge at Camp Crystal Lake, and if he won he decided to use the proceeds to help publish his first novel. He's pretty intelligent, not extremely muscular, but considered himself fit. He was one of those guys who wanted to make everyone laugh, and people always thought of him as the class clown which was something he didn't mind. He was also an avid pot-smoker, but wasn't the stereotypical pot-head. He still retained his composure when smoking. He also had a bad habit for smoking cigarettes, but was doing his best to quit.
His parents were killed in a car crash a few months prior so he also thought of this little weekend as an escape from reality for a few days.
