First off: this character creation process will be largely collaborative once we figure out who’s playing who. If you are not alright with the idea of having to change your character idea for the betterment and continuity of the plot after being accepted, this is not the role play for you. Secondly: No face claims for any character until you are accepted- obviously, the twins have to look similar, the other pair of siblings should at least be the same ethnicity, and the same goes for the guard and the warrior. That being said, fill up your form with vibey and aesthetic pictures! Also- only realistic face claims will be allowed once we get to that stage of plotting.

The twins (the priss and the unprepared) can have all the pets, crazy trinkets and hobbies you can dream of, plus you’re more than welcome to come up with a history for them! Just understand that you may have to change it a bit to compromise and fit with your twin’s.

The novice and the prodigy have grown up in the lower class; they are both aware of how the king and their mother met, and happily kept their relationship a secret until the official royal announcement was made. Whatever tidbits of history I come up with for the novice are the not the end all, be all to the novice and the prodigy’s backgrounds. I’d love to collaborate with whoever winds up being the prodigy! plz don’t be scared of me owo ;-;

The guard truly is as open-ended as I made them sound. Why are they alright living in the castle? I assume it’s because the warrior is their only family and is allowed to live with them, but if you have a better idea go for it! Also, are they lowkey aligned with the enemy? No matter what you decide, remember that the children are the center of their world.

The warrior is strong af. They can cut you just by looking at you the wrong way. They grew up training on the castle grounds, but have they spent quality time with siblings, or does the guard have them keep it strictly business? What made them realize their crush on the novice or the unprepared? Remember: this is meant to be an LGBT+ romance, so they have to be the same gender as whoever you choose.

Listen: we’re all thinking that the king is shady, right? Or at least has a shady history and is actively trying to be a better person? The queen, on the other hand, is kind; I will not budge on that. She’s truly compassionate.

  Trained since she was young to be a knight, Alexandria leaves no room for errors in herself. While her training sessions can be considered harsh by many, most guards know that the self-scheduled training she does herself is a lot harder. With a constant need to be vigilant and on top of her game, Alexandria takes surprisingly good care of herself but constantly pushes her limits to see if she can improve. After all, there's always room for improvement in her eyes. She's not known for showing any weakness to anyone— a stalwart and resolute figure among the royal guards.
  
  Or, so that's what most would lead you to believe. Ever since she was tasked with the protection of the children as well as seeing them grow up, they had grown on her and helps them grow in their own ways. Fiercely protective of the royal children, Alexandria swears on her life that she won't let anything happen to them. Though, this extends to her preventing them from doing anything that she deems too risky. She encourages growth within the children but often warns them of the consequences of their actions.
  
  Though she appreciates the chance that was given to her to alleviate her family by entering the royal guard, there is a part of her that wishes that she could return home to see the fruits of her labor. To wine and dine with her family once again. However, due to the responsibilities on her shoulders, Alexandria can barely take a break— let alone an extended vacation to visit her family. Nevertheless, she keeps to her contract and to her word and stays within the confines of the castle and the capital— to keep the royal family safe from harm.

  "To what extent will you take this ambition?"
  
  Alexandria was born into low nobility— barely an estate to their name, they were practically part of the commoners who had a little bit more expendable cash. She was the first child out of four with two younger brothers and her youngest sister. Her parents taught her all the ways to be a noble but she knew that she would never belong in such a political position. Her younger brother had caught up on the teachings quick, but Alexandria only stuck to the basics etiquette. Seeing this, her father had taken up the sword and began training her in the arts of being a knight. As soon as she was fourteen, she was sent off to be trained formally by the knights in the capital. She had not known this would be the last time she would ever see her family face to face.
  
  Under the knight's tutelage, her skills with the sword and her confidence shone through. Among the recruits, she had been one of the people to excel. By sixteen, she was deemed as one of the youngest people to join the knights formally. With her skills, however, she was quickly moved to the Royal Guard, tasked with the protection of the royal family. Despite being a teenager, she was more than honored to be given such a position.
  
  And though she was relatively young, when the then-queen died, she was tasked with the protection of the king's children. The longer she had done it, the more attached to the children she became— to the point that she feels like she's raising them as her own. Still, she tried to keep as much professional boundary as she could with how close she was getting to them. When the king had married a commoner woman and brought along two kids, Alexandria wasn't quite comfortable with the idea. The sudden increase of people inside the castle of importance had thrown her off. But they were still the king's children now and that means her promise for protection extends to them as well.
  
  [I've decided to opt out of writing the Warrior as of now to see what gets thrown around. My main idea was that the Warrior was actually an adopted child that she had taken with her during her time as a knight. Ever since then, she's treated them as her own and trained them to follow her footsteps.]
