  • One thing that won't be tolerated is OOC disrespect or vulgarity of any sort. That's a one and done boot for me. I want a positive environment and atmosphere.
  • I'd highly prefer and recommend at least mid level writing, in order to fully nuance characters and the story further. No one liners, or five brief sentencers.
  • As I mentioned in the interest check, OP abilities won't necessarily be banned, but if not balanced and character nuanced will most likely be refused.
  • The OOC will likely be added via Discord or a group PM on this site. I've just gotten into Discord so I'm learning how to work it.
  • Character numbers will only come AFTER I have approved and accepted characters, same goes for being added to the OOC.
  • Posting Frequency is ranged at a recommended couple of times a day to every other day (every 2 days). Seeing as how the plot features our characters in hiding an on the run while looking for others it will be a constant feeding off each other.
  • For any reason, should you become inactive / drop the RP your character will either be killed off or captured, opening space up for others who might want to join.
  • Once you read and understand the rules, at the end of your CS, mention a quote your character would say that has the number 100 in it. This will complete your CS.

Name: Lance Rush
Number: 95
Age: 25
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 180 lbs

Gift:
Imperceptibility - Lance has the ability to render himself in what The Orchestrator calls "Null State" , and as such can in no way be detected or communicated with by external forces, whether physical, mental, spiritual, technological, etc. He can't be touched or perceived, by smell, touch, vision, hearing, etc and give off no heat, auras or energy, leave any evidence of presence, yet the space he occupies has no lack of it. To all senses involving Lance, it's as if he does not exist. He's been shown to be undetectable by x-ray scans, sonars, radio detection, any/all technological detection. And cannot be perceived by mental, telepathic or spiritual powers. Some cases have shown he may not even be able to be remembered, or perceived as existing at all. However, Lance may still be able to interact with others through use of any other abilities he possesses, and so may also still be able to physically and directly influence a target.

Personality Pros: Strong-Willed | Staunch | Honest | Compassionate | Zany
Personality Cons: Stubborn | Blunt | Witty | Dramatic

Psychological Profile: Research Notes directly from The Orchestrator's Counsel - "Number 95 is hands down the spectacle of The Centennials. Since Day 0 he has not spoken once, when all recon and intel before his introduction to The House showed him as a very outgoing and lively individual. Now he seems himself as mute, stern, and encompassing... remarkable. He's adapted to his conditions and environment to assess his security. Rather it's traumatic shock or insane cleverness, we don't know. During his stress tests he showed great resiliency, but suffered the same turmoil nonetheless. However, the key feat here is that after extreme psychological and bodily forcefulness, he remained the same quiet self. Almost as if he's waiting to die... we believe his invisibility will become most useful to The Orchestrator, as he managed to trick even a few of our security detail into thinking he'd escaped. 23 hour sedation has seemed to turn him docile and always in a REM state sleep, we'll keep it that way until we receive further instruction. After all this, he doesn't seem fearful of the environment around him, but extremely paranoid and observant. Like he's expecting another shoe to drop. I wonder... what is the other shoe?"

Hobbies and Skills: || (Compiled pre-facility) - Athletically Fit & inclined for sports and fitness | Weight Lifting | pundit sprinter, swimmer, and climber | cardio | dancing | performance artist | stuntwork | krav maga trained | engineering / technology proficient expertise (software and electronics) | cinephile;he seems to enjoy and know a great deal of movies and shows | encyclopedic knowledge |foodie | seems to know first aid training | excellent driver | seemed to be the go to source of wisdom for his peer group before his introduction. | creative writing and scripting both digitally and technically | seems to be able to learn new or unexplored things very quickly ||

Background:

Lance Rush was what you called the King of All Trades. The young man was not only good at a little of everything, but great at alot of things. He ranged from being an immense geek, bookworm, and smartie pants, to an intense and competitive athlete, and even then to an inspiring and creative artist both performance and illustrative. He had the ideal life: college graduate with honors, national achievements in academics and football, and was just truly starting to get launched into his real crafts and gifts of performance & entertainment. And then, just like that, Lance Rush disappeared from his hometown of Asheville, NC upon a visit back to his old home. Weeks and weeks turned into months and months, social media craze, news reports, vigils... none of them would bring Lance back. Before he'd even ever have a chance to fully and truly live his life, it was taken from him just as fast as a blink.

But what the world didn't know, even after searches were called off and cases were closed, was that Lance Rush was still alive. At The House. An undisclosed facility somewhere in the middle of nowhere, Lance doesn't even remember how long he'd been there, but he knew he was one of the first, which means he'd been there the most time compared to others, considering he didn't even know there were others until the breakout. Fear had no time to set into Lance's heart, as all he could recollect was blinding lights, searing pain, and then sleep. He often questioned reality as he tried to discern between what was real and what was just another REM State dream sequence. But, the gifted mind knows no limits of capacity, and that was where Lance would thrive, and change everything. He started to have dreams he could turn invisible, that he could traverse the universe without a soul ever knowing... until one day he woke up, still sedated, but vaguely remembers the panic on the captors faces as if they'd lost him... when he was in front of them the whole time. That was when he knew, that maybe it wasn't a dream after all.

It was then he learned the truth, though REM sleep he could still hear and process everything. A sharp mind like Lance even when sedated was just enough to piece this new and dreadful reality together. So he'd buy in to this new world. He'd immerse himself fully, not saying a word, not giving an inch. He was going to bide his time until the right moment. Patience was a virtue, and Lance was the beacon. Now, with a rush of change and chaos he will come to find that the world and environment around him was no longer known. He and a fated bunch of souls would weave through destiny in an unknown spectrum of danger & consequence. Upon finding out the deeper reality of his circumstances, he now knows the most dangerous but also most gracious chances of his survival. The Centennials.

"The best thing you can do for your destiny, is to always be 100 with those around you, but more importantly, yourself. Never compromise yourself for people who don't have the means to understand themselves first. "

Dwarfing even the conventionally tall, there is no other way to describe Guy than as a mountain of a man. Having suffered from a lesser form of gigantism since childhood, he stands well over seven feet tall, and has a broad framed body to match. Despite his age, he works hard to maintain an impressive physique, following a strict physical routine. While not a body builder by any standard, he is still an imposing man that can hold his own against any "unruly kids" as he would put it nicely. This is compounded by his posture, drilled into him by years of military experience - square shouldered and straight as a pole. Even at ease he finds it difficult to relax his body, and may unintentionally come off as intimidating when he's otherwise trying to be friendly.

His skin is tanned, albeit only subtly so, Guy's Irish complexion having an unfortunate preference to burn. The scars across his body give the impression of a man who's been to hell and back, an assessment that wouldn't be entirely untrue. His hands and face especially are rougher than sandpaper and marked with every size and shape of wound one can imagine. All the same, he can often be seen wringing his hands or rubbing his neck with whatever moisturizer he has with him that day, carrying about him the surprisingly pleasant scent of classic cologne and lotion. Guy's hair is a dull, greyish blue, luster long gone except for the briefest flashes. It's peppered with white streaks, a sign of his encroaching age, as is the stubble running down the sides of his face. Curled slightly into a gentle wave, it goes a bit more than a foot past his shoulders, occasionally held in a ponytail but usually left to flow freely.

Guy's trademark is his heavy overcoat, once an intense navy blue but now worn to a much more drab, dark color. The wide, sunbleached lapels hang loosely, unpressed for years. The sleeves are as long as some people are tall, hand tailored for his unique frame. The left shoulder has accumulated a number of pins, patches, and other sentimental or identifying objects over the years, the most recent among them a sewn on patch displaying his assigned number, as well as small nicks and rips where previous adornments have been torn off. Beneath, Guy is rarely seen wearing anything but khaki and suspenders, his familiar beige shirt always tucked in, no matter the occasion. His steel toed work boots go to a bit below his knees, and despite his size, he walks with the unexpected silence of a mouse's footstep. His ensemble could perhaps be best described as "capable"; not combat grade, but ready to take a hit, and flexible enough to let him dish them back out.

Psionic Gunslinger
In stark contrast to his jaded, serious presence, there's a tragic comedy the nature of Guy's abilities. By miming the action of holding and firing a gun, or even simply pointing in such a way - finger gunning, if you will - Guy can fire imaginary bullets with uncanny accuracy. The damage caused, conversely, is anything but pretend, lethal at a distance of up to 1400 yards (1.3 km). His most common stance is that of a nonspecific handgun, but correct posture can mimic the damage and range of all manner of pistols, rifles, and even a submachine gun. These "shots" are silent, excepting when Guy himself calls out, though firing causes real kickback and leave entrance wounds identical to as if a bullet had truly been fired.

Perhaps ironically, Guy can't fire a real gun to save his life, his aim too unsteady from years of trauma.

"No. 39 has proven to be an unusually sturdy individual when compared to peer Centennials, in both spirit and body. All circumstances considered, we should not be surprised by such a development, though it remains fascinating nonetheless. His prior experiences seem to have uniquely braced him for our standard test procedures. The supervisors have found him to be... uncommonly frustrating. A new isolation procedure has had to be planned and enacted to counteract the subject's previous training. It has been referred to in jest as Operation [EXPLETIVE REDACTED]. Difficulty in controlling and altering No. 39 has not decreased.

Reaction to containment otherwise progressing as expected. Inquiries from No. 39 regarding his partner have continued until present despite a lack of response from the team, but the subject has otherwise ceased escape attempts. Acceptance of an unknown fate possible. Curiously, he has not yet attempted to kill any researchers encountered, despite possessing lethal force. No fatalities yet recorded. Poor aim ruled out as a variable - the precision with which the subject has previously disabled researches has proved as much. Three researchers, one custodian, and one supervisor paralyzed from the waist down. Requests for retaliatory action denied by The Orchestrator. An unusual degree of moral restraint displayed, though to what end is currently unknown - other Centennials have not hesitated to kill staff in escape attempts.

Subject refuses to answer questions, except with redundant queries about his partner. New procedures with which information may be pried out currently pending approval.

UPDATE ▮▮/▮▮/▮▮▮▮ [DATE REDACTED]

A drastic shift in behavior was recorded following a failed escape attempt by another, unrelated Centennial. In the chaos, No. 39 was exposed to and subsequently made aware of the presence of other subjects. Expressed great distress when made aware he was not the only experiment within The House. Only instance of lethal force recorded in following attempts to free other Centennials. Casualties [REDACTED]. Class A sedatives required to restrain the subject. The Orchestrator was quite interested in seeing the full potential of No. 39 finally demonstrated. Further testing pending approval - we are running out of fodder at this time.

The subject has since shown heightened activity, including pacing and renewed escape attempts. Continues to inquire about other Centennials and their respective freedom. Research into use of other Centennials in No. 39's psychological testing ongoing."

Hobbies and skills
Over the years, especially in his youth, Guy has picked up a number of lesser hobbies to occupy his racing mind. Most prominently, he enjoys whittling. Despite the size of hands, he's surprisingly deft with a knife, and seems to most enjoy carving out small animals like pill bugs, songbirds, native lizards, and the like. In addition, he's a carpenter by trade, and made most of his income pre-capture doing commissions or selling furniture. He's skilled with woods of all kinds, as well as the tools used to shape it, and is no stranger to an ax.

An amateur bird watcher, he has rudimentary knowledge of native songbirds. Never bold enough to call himself an expert, one can still hear a sort of subdued enthusiasm in his voice when he talks about the meditative hours he spends simply watching the trees or the coast, even the smallest happenings bringing him peace. Although largely tech illiterate and barely understanding the function or purpose of Twitter, he maintained a sporadically updated feed where he posted pictures of local birds before he was taken.

Despite being a veteran, many of his martial arts skills had to be self taught or learned post war. Much of it is centered around self defense and quickly disabling offenders, offsetting how cumbersome his size might otherwise make him seem. Moving with unexpected speed and grace, he often doesn't even need to use his powers to dismantle a threat, and in fact prefers to find other ways to end conflicts before resorting to drawing blood - though that's not to say he's a pacifist, and if someone dangerous antagonizes Guy, he's more than prepared to break a rib or two. He has basic, essential survival knowledge as well, knowing how to construct simple shelters, start fires, keep dry, stretch food, and other necessities of off the grid life. Perhaps as a defense mechanism, he's able to stay remarkably calm in otherwise stressful, maybe even life-or-death situations. Still, the toll on his mind could not be said to negligible. It's simply not as evident in the waking world - his insomnia can attest to that.

Background
Born on the cusp of the 50's in midwestern America, Guy's childhood was about what one might picture from that brief description alone. A distant, hard ass father and an aloof mother, smothered in an intolerant and tumultuous cultural sphere - for someone like Guy, the cards were simply stacked against him from day one. While not exactly what one would describe as a lonely kid, he was always on the fringes of his friend circle. First it was his height, then it was his shyness, then his disinterest in women... through every phase of life, the people he thought he could call companions found new reasons to needle him, and in a time when sensitivity was the greatest crime of all, he had no defense but to withdraw further.

Upon turning 18, his life would take a turn into the irreversible. He was called to fight for a cause he neither understood nor believed in: the Vietnam War. Neither openly gay nor confident enough to stand against the draft, he had no way out, and thus, both the worst and most definitive part of his life would begin. He found popularity within his platoon, for better or for worse, and earned a reputation for both his size and a seemingly supernatural ability to take a bullet and keep going like it was a mosquito bite. There was no shaking his quiet aura, though, and if anything, the experience only served to make him more distant. The things he did and the things he saw were anything but just, perhaps even reprehensible. His only solace was his first love, both met an lost during this time. Although it wouldn't last, and the traumatic loss would make it difficult for him to be comfortable dating for many years after, it was an eye opening experience in accepting himself and rejecting what his family had drilled into him for years prior.

Years later, long after America had pulled out of the war and he had been sent home, Guy found himself still struggling to readjust to civilian life, especially after becoming wholly estranged from his biological family, leaving him with no support to fall back on. All the same, he refused to be ruled by mental illness, and would eventually occupy himself by entering the activism scene - first becoming involved in anti-war organizations, and later during the 80's joining LGBT peers in their struggles, which he was naturally no stranger to. Even as he grew older, his convictions never mellowed, and if anything, his penchant for direct action would only grow stronger, becoming quite familiar with long nights in jail. Even in the present, when asked, he remains unashamed, and regards his participation in protests much more fondly than any wartime achievements.

It was only three years before his capturing that Guy married his now husband, an equally eccentric and distant man (albeit for different reasons) named Denver. He wants nothing more than to see him again, but is conversely painfully aware that returning now would only put the both of them in danger. It's just as well, because after learning other Centennials had escaped and were being hunted down, he made a vow to dedicate himself to finding and protecting them.

"Consider what you'll be remembered for a hundred years from now... Will you still be so eager to etch your name in history as someone who desperately denounced evil, even as you danced with the devil himself?"

Personality Cons: |Apathetic|Sarcastic|Cynical|Standoffish|Odd|

Psychological Profile:
The subject has proven to be quite resilient. It was initially thought that Subject may already be in a weakened mind state, requiring less severe testing procedures. This assumption was incorrect. Subject has proven to be quite difficult as it is very hard to ever tell just by looking at him how much stress subject is induring. Researchers have decided to use brain scanning technology during the testing procedures so they could analyze Subjects reactions on a chemical level as well as gauge how much stress he is in. Once connected to the machine, Subject became much easier to test and gain results from, though it had taken much more severe testing procedures to have a reaction from the subject. It had appeared that he, infact, wasn't stressed at all during some of the testing procedures, particularly the ones that had to deal with emotional connection and empathy. This shows that subject has a large amount of apathy and that testing procedures need to change to more physical methods.

When Subject is not be tested, most of the time he usually grabs his art supplies and draws for almost the entire time between testing procedures. The drawings seemed to be of no consequence to the facility, but they are inspected anyways as a safety measure. Most of the time they are abstract art that appears to have no meaning in particular, at least not to any researchers inspecting them. Recently he has been using the paper not by drawing on them, but instead by folding them using Origami. Reason for this change in art was soon documented as a part of Subject's Gift. Sometimes, but only rarely, he would not do any art in between testing and instead would go inside the exercise room to, obviously, exercise.

[div class=headermain]Gift[/div]
Paper Manipulation Landon has the ability to create and manipulate paper to his own will. He has been able to create objects with paper that, more or less, mimic the object it created. As such, it could be used in a multitude if ways. For example, he has been known to create paper wings and fly for a bit. He also has been able to create paper weapons that act as the weapon it mimics. And, of course, he can use paper for it's original intent. Or he could instead give people a bunch of paper cuts, which, if you have ever gotten a paper cut, is not fun. Landon has also been known to be able to turn himself into paper doves (he can turn into other paper things, but prefers the doves) and can dash a short distance. Reasoning behind why and how has not been revealed, but testing procedures will continue.

Landon's ability is limited by his creativity as well as paper itself. Of course, he can't make paper into something it just can't do, like how one cannot fold a piece of paper more than 11 times. As well as this, if Landon can't think of what to create and how he would go about it, he cannot create. So because of this, he can create simply machines such as a window opening mechanism, but he cannot create a working computer. As well as making a type of machine generally won't be worth it because paper would most likely not be able to complete the job.

Landon's ability also has more obvious weaknesses such as it being weak to water. As well as destroying the paper itself, it makes it harder for him to control the paper because it is mixed with water. He can use his power in light showers, but if he tries to use it in heavy rains or just inside water, the paper will general be destroyed before it could be used for anything. Conversely, it is also weak to fire, as is most paper, because it will also destroy the paper quickly.

One could say that another drawback is that there really isn't known for it's durability, which is translated into his ability itself. Landon doesn't really have any substantial or powerful defensive options at his disposal, so he doesn't really have a way to defend against attacks, but conversely, he has amazing mobility, utility, and offensive capabilities, which just about balance it out.

It has been theorized that Landon's ability to control paper may have stemmed from his artistic ability and creativity.

[div class=headermain]Hobbies and Skills[/div]
Before Landon's extraction, he used to be known as his towns artist, but he is very unconventional in the way that he does things, coming to be known as the Local Odditiy. He lived on the outskirts of town by himself and wasn't known to have any friends and any attempts to get to know him were usually met with very rude and sarcastic interactions, if any at all. Landon lives in a large house and spends most of his time painting, sketching, or doing other art projects. He has honed his artistic abilities enough to be able to make a living off of people wanting to buy his art. Once he finishes a piece, he would save it and wait until he has enough art to sell, and once he created enough, he would have a yard sale esc in driveway. He would put up a few fliers around town, which would draw in a fairly large crowd. He would try his hardest to interact with people as small as possible during the sale, as he would be sitting in the back with a book in hand, most of the time by someone no one's ever heard of, and would never look up from his book. Landon would gain enough money from selling his art, which most of the time completely sold out, to be able to live long enough until he could sell more of his art. It wasn't the most spectacular way of making a living, but it paid the bills so he was content.

The extraction was surprisingly easy as Landon made no move to struggle or even try to escape, he may have already accepted his fate. That or he was extremely intoxicated, it had been the 4th of July. Either way, he came to the facility calmly and quietly. Once there, he was allowed to exercise his artistic abilities by using pieces of paper and some tools such as paint and pencils. Curiously, his art had changed from before. He began drawing more art that seemed to have meaning, though it was all extremely obscure. It may have been a way of expressing his life inside the facility, or it may be something else entirely, most of his art seemed to have meaning that only he could understand anyways so there seemed to be no definitive answer.

[div class=headermain]Background[/div]
Landon's childhood was not great, in fact, it was the most traumatic thing in his life and permanently changed him. Landon used to live in a small town in the middle of nowhere, he lived with his mother and father in a small home and only one rundown was near enough for him to go to. It was, though, an hour and a half walk and he would always be sweaty at the end. Even worse, though, is that it always rained there so he was always soaking wet by the time he gets to the school. Because of all of the aspects combined and the fact that the school itself is terrible, Landon hated school. What makes it worse, though, is that everyone hated him.

Landon was never quite sure why he was "chosen" to be the person everyone hated. Maybe it was because of his reclusive nature, always preferring books and art over people, maybe it was because of the fact that they we're not really the richest people in the world, not even owning a car. Or maybe it is just because kids are mean, and they just wanted to have someone to hurt. Either way, he became the classes scapegoat whenever there was trouble and at any opportunity possible, he would be bullied endlessly. Luckily, though, there was one thing that wasn't wrong in his life. That would be Leon. Leon was the only person at his school that actually liked him, he would even go as far as to say that they were friends.

Landon had known Leon ever since Sophmore year and, for some inexplicable reason, wanted to be his friend. It was especially odd since Leon was the "cool and popular type" and Landon was just, well, Landon. Landon knew that people like Leon were usually just out for themselves or wanting to get a laugh out of Landon trusting him, so he didn't trust him at first. Leon, though, didn't give up and instead continued to try and win his trust. Landon continued to brush him off, thinking he had another motive. The only way that Leon was ever able to gain his trust when, one day, Landon was walking the long walk home, when he was suddenly attacked by a group of people who had been waiting for him outside of school. They quickly pinned him down as he struggled, unable to stand up, and attacked him. They punched and kicked him. One of the people had a razor blade and dug it into his skin, attempting to cut something onto Landon's flesh. Suddenly, Landon felt the weight of everyone holding him down disappear. Landon was disoriented and didn't see where any of his harrassers went, but once he got his bearings, he looked up to see a hand reaching down. Looki ng to see who had helped him, it was none other than Leon. Landon was so surprised that he fainted right then and there, either that or he was hurt too much to stay conscious. Most likely a combination of both. Leon, not having a way to bring him home, carried Landon to the hospital which was, luckily, only a few blocks away. Once Landon had came to, he asked Leon why he helped him instead of leaving him. Leon's only response was that he wanted Landom to trust him.

They swiftly became friends after that incident and would hang out often whenever they could, be it in the school or out anywhere else. Unfortunately though, Leon hanging with Landon was starting to harm his reputation, which he didn't mind of course, but everyone else did. People started sending Leon threading letters to him and pushing him in the hallways, but he ignored them all and continued to hang out with Landon. Landon couldn't figure out why he still wanted to be friends with him after the amount of hate he was getting, he thought that he was the only one supposed to be attacked. But it would soon become clear to him why. One day Landon and leon were hanging out together sitting down and looking up at the clouds and relaxing when, Landon asked Leon why he doesn't just stop being his friend and continue being popular. The question had been nagging at him for quite some time and he needed to know why Leon just doesn't be with everyone else. Leon wasn't surprised by this question, infact he had been anticipating it. He looked at Landon and said that he was why the reason why he didn't stop being his friend. Landon didn't understand, but before he could say anything, Leon and Landon's lipped locked. Landon was freaking out internally and had no idea what to do, but didn't pull away. It felt like years, but was probably only a few seconds before they let go. Landon was breathless, he had never been in a situation like this and had no idea what do, but at least now he knew why Leon was his friend. Unknown to the both of them, one of the kids from school had been watching them, and now he would make them pay.

The next day afterschool, Landon and Leon where walking away afterschool when about 20 kids from school jumped them. They carried both of them far away from town and tied Landon to a tree. They then dropped Leon onto the ground. They taunted Leon, daring him to hit one of them and, after getting one hit off on one of the larger guys, was pinned to the ground. They all ganged up on him, kicking him and taunting him, calling him names and the such, and after a bit of doing that, one of the kids took out a knife and cut derogatory words into his flesh. Landon was able to witness it all without being able to help. He felt useless, he felt like nothing, unable to help him or do anything. After what felt like years, they all stopped and, not seeing the point in hurting Landon, cut the rops and let him go. They all walked back to the town and left the two in the middle of nowhere. Landon went to see how bad Leon was hurt, and was shocked by the extent of their attacks. He looked nothing liked his former self and seemed to be in a very critical state. Landon tried to carry Leon back to the town, saying that he's going to be okay over and over. Leon knew that he wasn't going to make it and told Landon that, no matter what, he will love him. It took a few hours, but he eventually made it to a hospital. The nurses and doctors quickly rushed Leon to the emergency room and asked Landon what happened. Landon told them what had happened, from walking out of the school, to being ambushed, to being attacked, and to carrying Leon to the hospital. He told them of a few people who he knew who attacked them, but he didn't know most of them. Landon called his parents, but it seemed as if they weren't home yet since they both worked extremely late. Landon, not able to walk back to his house, slept at the hospital.

Landon woke up and asked the doctors if he could see Leon, but the doctors informed him that he had died overnight. This completely shocked Landon to his core. He had just found someone who actually loved him and he had died. Landon was, of course devastated after this revelation. He ran out of the hospital, he didn't know where to, but he ran. He ran as ahrd as he could, he wanted to escape the pain, the school, the town, his life, everything. He ran as fast and as far as he could, and never looked back. He wanted to make a new life somewhere else. After a day of walking and a cold, dark night on the streets, he came across a small store that sold, among other things, art supplies. Needing a way to cope, he bought the art supplies with the last of his money and stood on the side of the street, drawing on paper and making art. It seemed to help him, if only by a little bit, cope with what had happened. He had been drawing for a while when a car stopped next to him. It appeared that someone had noticed him drawing and wanted to check it out. He looked over what he had drawn and, liking one of them, decided to buy it. Landon only got a few bucks, but it was enough for him to get something to eat. This gave him hope, and he continued this process, going from town to town, drawing, painting, or anything else and selling his art to continue living. He had been doing this for about a year now, going from town to town, selling his art, and making money to abe able to do it again and again, when he had finally made enough money for a house, be it a rundown and dirt cheap one, but it was a house. This came to be his living space for the next few years of his life and the rest from there is history.

[div class=fyuriheader] Psychological Profile[/div]
Excerpt from Psychological Evaluation 43.5, dated ██/██/2019, by Researcher Ernest Harvey and Dr. Marcella Rodriguez, the primary counselor for Subject # ███ :

On the outside, and often the first impression most are familiar with, Subject #███ carries himself with quiet courtesy and confidence, though it's rare to see the man open up overmuch. In the early days of confinement, he managed to establish a working, if uneasy rapport with his counselors, but otherwise showed few signs of violent resistance, hyperactivity, distractibility, or any other behavioral issues representing any potential risk to the Orchestrator's goals. Subject prefers to speak in English, but has demonstrated an above-average command of Mandarin Chinese.

Subject #███'s emotional status became a focus of this evaluation due to an increasing concern with mental health, having displayed symptoms of mild depressive disorder since entering custody. Cooperation with the Orchestrator's goals has been consistent but reluctant. However, following Experiment ██-███, the subject began showing signs of emotional distress, as well as aggressive and belligerent behavior. Additionally, depressive symptoms have worsened. It is recommended that medication prescribed to Subject #███ be increased.

The continued containment of the Centennials has long presented practical and moral quandaries for the Research and Ethics Committees. Nonetheless, our organization has a duty to contain these anomalies, dangerous or not. We've done many distasteful things in the completion of our mission, but our mission is important enough that the price is one we must pay. As such, it is recommended that the organization continue to hold Subject #███ in custody for further evaluation for the indefinite future.

[div class=fyuriheader] Gift[/div]
Property Transferal: Subject #██ is able to borrow the physical properties of solid materials and apply them to other materials (e.g, applying the hardness and strength of a concrete wall to a pane of glass, rendering it much harder to break, or bending a piece of steel by swapping its flexibility with that of a rubber band). As of yet, manipulable properties seem to be limited to hardness, brittleness, tensile strength, compressive strength, elasticity, and weight.

When a transferal is made, a property of one material is given to a new material, and the subject must give up a proportional amount of energy reserves from his body, physically exhausting him, eventually sapping away his body heat, resulting in dangerous chills. Once the subject stops concentrating on the transferal or loses control of it, the effect dissipates, and the borrowed property returns to its source material.

Eye colour: Grey
Hair colour: Light blonde
Height: 163 cm 165,2 cm 167,1cm 168,3 cm
Weight: 72 kg 64 kg 51 kg 45 kg

Gift: Electromagnetism sub-unit:
Subjects powers seemed to be linked to the EM forces. It has been observed that nr. 83 gift only manifests itself while the subject is sleeping, unconscious or experiencing strong emotional feelings. The full extent of the gift is still undetermined. The subject seems not to hold any control over the powers she has been granted.
The gift is manifested as spherical energy dense impulses. It seems that those impulses are affecting the gravitational forces of the objects within it parameters. It has been noted down that the objects seem either to float in the affected or they would be propelled out of it with extreme force. We are still determining what causes to act either of the ways but the tests are still inconclusive.
New observations show that nr. 83 is trying to avoid sleeping and increase her caloric intake. Experiments have shown that long periods of the usage of the gift have been severely draining the subjects powers. It has been estimated that without sufficient intake of energy dense food the subject would perish within days.
In order to research the gift nr. 83 is being kept sedated and her sleep cycle is being kept manually with drugs. The medical staff have informed us that in case of when the treatment would stop the subject would probably experience a major withdrawal symptoms. Those symptoms include: insomnia, weight loss, mental instability and lack of hunger.
Some test have been performed that show the link between the impulses and nr. 83 heartbeats and also connections to musical influence have been found but those are incomplete.

Personality:
As the time went on the subject seemed to become more detached from the reality. She still seemed to carry sympathy towards living beings but she has been grown more distrusting and secluded over the years. Unfortunate side effect of the experiment seems also to be the decline of empathy for her. Nr. 83 is still observed to be kind and playful although she leans away from the normality a bit.

Psychological profile: WIP
Year 1
About year ago I was broth a squealing overweight young female. She seemed to be at the age 12-13. More of a shock was to me the fact that she was barely speaking English if at all. It took our research team a week or so to find out the language. It turned out that she was speaking or more fittingly screaming at us in Estonian. Although there were some curses in English and Russian involved.
It took us about a month to calm her down to a state which she was co-operative enough for us to conduct the test. It was clear that the time spent in the facility had not been good for her psychy and the damages were done. Both her mental and physical results were much worse than other subjects' results.
By the end of the year the stress and diet had caused her to loose weight. The mental state also fell down a notch. Everything else seems to be in order no powers have surfaced.

Year 2
Within this year the mental state of the subject has fallen again. She has stirred farther form the hobbies provided to her. There have been occasions where she will hum and communicate through incoherent sentences. There was also a period when she inclined towards selfharm. This happened right after we changed her cell. The cell change happened because her powers started to show.

Hobbies and interests:
Subjects past was filled with many activities but most of them were not as much physical as might have been. We have counted some we were able to dig up:

  • Horseback riding
  • Cooking
  • Reading
  • Classical music
  • Opera (Last two are considered odd but the time in The Home has proven them true)
  • Foody
  • 3 years in children's sub-unit of volunteer military - similar to scouts (Again odd but could be useful to us)
The more she spent time in the House the more she started to write poems. In the beginning we did find it harmful to the cause but during one morning she had wrote an eerie poem with her blood on the walls. After that incident we gave it our best effort to monitor each and everyone of her actions awake to avoid it happening again.

Background:
Nr. 83 lost her parents at age 10. After that she was put into the orphanage. Never adopted. She continued in the school and was one of the best in her class. While in the 6th grade she was chosen to be an exchange student in another school. While on the trip to her new school for the time being she was captured by the agent and was broth to The Home. As an orphan not many people were there to actively search her. She was proclaimed as a runaway and after 2 weeks with no hope in finding her she was marked down as dead.

She didn't have many friends after her parents death and she didn't have any in The Home. So she made up her friends. They entertained her awake and kept her safe in her dreams. During one of the nightmare filled nights she felt so helpless and giving up that she wished to die. In the following night something extraordinary. She produced the most powerful impulse wave have witnessed in her time being here. She broke the walls during that night and in the morning she left with the first light.

    Gift:
Time Manipulation-Sofia could stop time for those around her and prevent events from happening. Time manipulation is both a gift and a curse as every time it is used beyond a couple of minutes, Sofia's physical energy is drained from her body. If she is not careful when using such a powerful tool, she could wind up lifeless, dead before she could return back to the present. As this power requires all her energy, Sofia must be fully focused for her to be able to play with time in a safe manor, any small action could change events in the present on a large scale.

When Subject No. 086 was first acquired by the Orchestrator she was at the peak of physical fitness. Her demanding lifestyle as a gun for hire – and before that as a special operations NCO – had required her to be healthy and athletically capable. Being quite tall for a woman, her lithe build distributed tense coils of muscle across her graceful frame that would be the envy of any fool with eyes, however, after almost a year in confinement, with drastic meal restrictions, the Subject has lost considerable weight and bears much less muscle definition compared to when first arriving at the House and could easily be described as 'gaunt'. Confinement has not treated No. 086 well.

Subject #75 presents the ability to create, shape and manipulate illusions, with the potential to alter the perceived touch, smell and hearing of others. Upon extensive testing, it was found that this gift can only change the perception of the subject and has no influence on external environments. This has resulted in the illusions not penetrating mirrors or shadows: two tell-tell traits that Subject #75 is engaging in their gift.

Control of the gift seems highly limited at this stage. The subject has been recorded unwillingly and unknowingly transforming the state of their physical appearance due to intense emotions, often creating illusions concurrent with their current mental state. However, when presented with new and possibly before unseen illusions to create, the subject shows difficulty in generating or maintaining the changed physical appearance.

Subject #75’s early days of imprisonment were met with a strong surge of disagreement and denial, with the Subject continuously persisting that they were falsely mistaken. Accordingly, the Subject’s initially approached guards with charm and friendliness, going as far to offer help in pursuing the true victim.

When this failed to gain her favour, the Subject’s friendly persona was quick to fade away and be replaced by anger and irritation. The Subject’s tactics became fiercer, with #75 often ignoring instructions or, in a few situations, deploying violent actions (e.g. kicking and pushing). The Orchestrator‘s desired procedures were consequently mandated and, as expected, prevented the recurrence of these actions.

As of current, the subject appears to be in a state of hopeless reminiscence. They follow directions with careless judgment and have been found to negate personal care. As a result of this dramatic change, alongside the constant reappearance of breakdowns, it is recommended that Subject #75 be observed for possible mental repercussions.

[div class=info]Hobbies and Skills[/div]
Analysis of the Subject’s past has revealed the following hobbies and skill set:
  • Dancing
  • Photography
  • Acting (Whilst this is included in the list, it is important to note that this skill is limited and, in all honestly, underdeveloped. This may pose issues regarding the effectiveness of Subject #75’s gift in The Orchestrator‘s final plan).
  • Reading
  • Poetry

[div class=info]Background[/div]

The Subject was born and raised in Glenlough Bay, Ireland, under the given name of Leone Fitzgerald. Whilst little is known about this life-phase, school reports and outsider interviews reveal the Subject’s youth as uneventful and lacking the need for further investigation.

Rather, it is recommended that increased research by undertaken into the Subject’s life in Los Angeles, America. The Subject is understood to have left Ireland at 18 in the pursuit of American culture and a famed position in acting. Upon this shift in countries, the Subject attempted to adopt a new identity outside of her own, going as far to rename herself Mila Barnette, take dialect lessons and brew an underlyingly false backstory. This backstory has been accounted numerously and often inconsistently to officers as the Subject being born in Boston to two restaurant-owners.

Insider reports and insights have recorded the Subject as having been a student at Carolyne Barry Acting Academy for two months, before leaving as a result of missing too many classes. Since then, the Subject is known to have been a part of two local theatre productions, including playing the role “Background Character #2” in The Importance of Being Earnest. Interception occurred at this play.
