No one knew what exactly what was in there. Rumors spread like the dust in the Mojave. All anyone knew is that it had been locked tight for over 200 years. No one knew where it was. No one knew if it even existed. But who ever controlled that vault controlled everything.
Or so one legend says.
It depends on who you ask. Some say it's a military base armed to the teeth. Others say it was Mr. House's backup plan and is a fully stocked and operational vault. Some say it's a portal to another dimension that you better not mess with. Others claim it's an oasis untouched by the bombs sealed tightly under lock and key. The stories go on and on. A few things are constant though, no two stories are the same, no one has actually seen it, and everyone agrees you would have to be a fool to even try. Good thing fate often has a way of putting fools together.
They may each have their own ideas and motivations about what truths lie beneath the legend, but none of them are getting there without each other's help.

So hello there. This is still early on, but basically I want to put together a little crew for a heist in the Mojave. The fun part, is none of our characters will exactly agree on what it is they are breaking into and each of them have their own motivations for doing it. Do they trust each other? Well that is up to us. Does someone stab someone in the back at the very end? That is also up for us to discuss. (We can also plot out what exactly it is they're breaking in to. All that effort and watch it be a shed full of unassembled cardboard boxes anyone?)
I've never done a group roleplay before, so if someone wants to step up and control things, I would be more than happy to hand those reins over. I just had this idea and knew that it would be better with a group of people than it would be just 1x1.
Now I don't really know what else I am supposed to put here but yeah let me know if you are interested and we can get going from there!

Appearance: Roughly kept Auburn hair usually tied back in a ponytail. Pail green eyes. An old scar cut down the left side of her face past the eye brow to the lips. Light tanned and mostly freckled skin. Most of her back looks like it had been flogged at one point, and her hands have general scars from working with knives.
Personality: Alexis is a Chaotic Neutral type person, usually keeps to her own till something sparks her interests. She’s unrelenting and won’t stand down from anything unless given a good reason, and a gun pointed at her face isn’t one of those reasons. She cares about people around her even though she tries not to… its easier to stand for the young and those who can’t defend their selves, though Alexis isn’t one to help those who refuse to change or take charge themselves. She has a hard time trusting big groups of people and has gotten into scuffs with those who think that can bully their opinion onto others. Alexis is a tough cookie, but also a Mama Bear type person and will defend her own.
Background: Born to a Slaver and his Slave Alexis didn’t have an easy start. She could have let her life stay as it was set as but a defiant spark blazed brightly behind her eyes. She did her best to piss off her sperm doner and grew up hard. Even her mother never stood for her. Alexis was sold off at the age of 16 to a bandit crew. She spent half the time cooking and the other half being set to work on their outposts. She was only 18 when she slit the throats of those who claimed to own her, in the middle of the night. She armed herself up with their weapons and set out onto the land to better herself. Since then she had been a gun for hire and never let herself get captured by Slavers again.

He's pale and is used to colder climates and mostly night work, which means he constantly burns which has led to numerous freckles being added since he has been in the Mojave. He has the Enclave insignia and Phantom division emblem tattooed on his shoulder blade with his callsign.
Personality: Most assume that Cal has that rough around the edges "doesn't play well with others" kind of attitude. But he is mostly like a really spacey bird who prefers to watch from a distance. His I don't play in teams attitude comes from the fact he really never did have to work with a team before. He's distant and too pragmatic for his own good, but he's also overly loyal to the people he trusts and can be overly protective to the point he can come across as the team mom.
Background: Cal was born into the Chicago branch of the Enclave. His mother was a soldier and his father worked in weapons development. From early on, it was evident though that he fit into a different path. Even as a kid, his talents as a spy were pretty apparent. As a teenager they started sending him out on his first scouting assignments and that grew into him taking up more responsibility. He was eventually assigned to the Phantom division of the Intelligence Branch which was responsible mainly for controlling pre-war assets that needed to stay off the rest of the wasteland's radar. With Phantom, he became a bit of a pre-war security specialist. From locks, to terminals, robots, and tripwires, there wasn't much that was able to slow him down. He eventually got transferred to DC to help in establishing their presence while scouting things out for Chicago, but of course things went a little south with Ravenrock. He managed to make it back out west, only to get sent even further west.

Appearance: He has greying hair and dark brown eyes. Dark skin and his left eye is damaged, forcing him to wear a temporary eyepatch while it heals. Has a beard, as well as several scars on his right arm and chest. He has an NCR tattoo on his left wrist.
Personality: Maxim isn't the social type. He would rather sit in the background and gather intel. After he was wrongfully blamed for killing another ranger, he formed trust issues. He always views anyone he doesn't personally know with suspicion. Even children, mainly because of the Legion using kids to take out NCR rangers and troops. Although, he is morally good. Over the years, he has constructed a moral code that he always follows. He doesn't like getting into fights or even starting fights. He mainly keeps to himself, although he does occasionally take a bounty or two. Even after being kicked out of the NCR, he still deeply despises Caesar's Legion. If he sees any Legion troops in the area, he won't hesitate to fire on a few of them. Neutral good is one of the best ways to describe him.
Background: Maxim was born as an NCR citizen, in Shady Sands. He really didn't have much of a tragic childhood until it was nearly over. He was treated well and had good parents. His father was an NCR ranger, and he would tell Maxim war stories and the training he went through. After hearing these stories from his father, he aspired to be an NCR ranger. But over time, his motivation for his goal slowly disappeared until the death of his father. His father died in combat, which shook Maxim's life. That's when he decided to sign up in the NCR army when he came of age. After he completed his training and military tour, he was stationed in New Vegas, then moved to Camp Mccarran. After showing some exceptional skills fighting back against a large group of Fiends, he was offered a position as a ranger. He accepted and underwent the training. A ranger's training is brutal and was nothing like he'd ever experienced before, but he successfully passed the training and became a ranger. But things did not end well. After a few years of being a ranger, he and a few other rangers were selected to undergo a mission against the legion. The mission was to take out Legion forces in Cottonwood Overlook when the Legion first established a base there. When the group of rangers arrived, they realized they greatly underestimated the Legion's numbers at Cottonwood and were nearly wiped out. Only 4 rangers, including Maxim, were left. After Maxim arrived back at Camp Mccarran, he was accused of killing a ranger during the mission. Even with the other 3 rangers protesting against this, Maxim was stripped from his title as a ranger and was kicked out of the NCR armed forces. He kept contact with some of his friends in the military, but he had nothing left at that point.
He became a traveler and sometimes a bounty hunter, wandering across the former United States, although he mainly stayed in the Western side.
