(It's a little short, but I'm just trying to get the starter out of the way,, Starters are always difficult)

She sits in a classroom, head in her hands, fingers tapping on her flushed cheeks. She can see Akira out of the corner of her eye, (or, as he’s more affectionately known by Morgana, Joker), and he catches her gaze. They exchange an awkward wave, and then Ryuji comes in, talking a little too loudly about how ‘effin cool it was to take down Kamoshida, it was a little wack how he broke down though!’ and bla-bla-blah, and Ann is reminded once more that the Phantom Thieves do exist, and that they somehow managed to change the heart of a pedophile, which was, to say the least, a difficult battle. Ann is relieved that the Kamoshida issue is finally resolved, but there was more to the problem than just defeating a P.E teacher in a pink speedo, (which Ann desperately tries to wipe from her mind, along with that shadow duplicate of her…)

Her reputation before the Kamoshida incident wasn’t exactly the nest. Nasty names thrown around, courtesy of her turning down Kamoshida time and time again, rumors of her kissing up to him. If those were true, then Shiho wouldn’t have been in danger, would she? Her relationship with the other students at Shujin Academy was delicate, strained, even. She had received some apologies, mostly just hushed whispers, ‘I’m sorry about what we said about you,’ or just stray compliments to her appearance or performance, like tiny bandaids to a large wound. Petty and useless. She promised to forgive them, since it wasn’t truly their fault. Kamoshida had pulled the strings, and her anger and frustration was mostly targeted towards him.
Her fear revolved around him too.

She wasn’t necessarily scared of him, but she was plagued by frequent nightmares of Shiho jumping, of wandering eyes and hands, of hot breaths and unheard cries for help. For these reasons, too, Ann was having difficulties connecting to the other students. It was hard for her to forgive, to forget.
The female finally decides to pack up her things, slipping the items into her backpack. She doesn’t know why she’s lingering behind so late...but she slows down, looking around the classroom, wondering why she felt...different? Like something was holding her from leaving. Strange.
