Magic has always existed in this world. Before humans existed there was another realm that existed on a parallel plane to ours, where magical beings take shape and the magic they hold seeps out from them and over into our realm of existence. Magic can be used by anyone, people just had to find out how to use it. Back in medieval times, people were stuck fighting with swords, shields, bows, and all sorts of other weapons that wasted resources and not everyone wanted to put the time into even learning the basics of combat. This lead to people try to discover other forms of fighting and find more resource to use.

Life has drastically changed because of magic. One man discovered a way to use magic in a very impactful way, he could control the elements, like fire, water, even the earth. With enough time he was able to control even the weather. He kept the secret of magic for himself and became a great and powerful king, only passing his secret of magic down his familial line. The secret was kept within the family which made it easy for them to stay in power for centuries. Though with time, someone in the family decided to share the secret with the people. Everyone knew how to use some form of elemental magic, and this led to more and more people across the land learning. Eventually making fighting almost pointless. But people still fought for other reasons.

What was promoted was the discovery of new magic, as one person around the early middle ages discovered how to materialize one object to a position across the room. This slowly grew into learning how to combine objects together and even create structures without the use of tools, besides magic. Now that magic was known to do more than just control the elements more and more discoveries were made and new classes of magic were discovered, such as healing, transformation, servant summon, and more.

It is now the year 2112, where magic is known by everyone and there are even classes to teach magic, study magic, and ways to use magic in current day technology. Airplanes, cars, even the internet uses a form of magical energy. With such advancements, the world is full of new and incredible things being invented every day. Though life is far from a Utopia. In one of the biggest cities, Cline City, there are many underground markets and tons of crime happening throughout the city. You start your day as a new recruit for the Cline City Magical Police or CCMP. It is your job to try and stop any crimes you see, investigate and catch any and all criminals, your main investigation will be trying to locate the boss of the biggest mafia group in the city. They operate the underground market and are said to hold a lot of power over the city, you must try and take them down.

Magic Classes​

Elemental - The use of magical abilities pertaining to all natural elements of all varieties. This includes molten, steam/smoke, crystals and other various types including but not limited to. Ash, Helium, Carbon, and other various elements from the periodic table.

Transformation - Magic used in forms of modifying one's body. This includes both internal and external organs and appendages. These transformations can range from the replacement of limbs to that of an animal or being not found in nature. Such beings include demons, aliens, and even certain man-made creations.

Materialization - Materialization is the process of taking a non-living object or material and forming it into a weapon/transporting it to the user. The materialization of man-made weapons or designs, even ones of great power or those possessed by a spirit, demon, or deity. This also includes the materialization of potions and other materials, like mirrors, glass sheets, etc. Though said material must be in general vicinity in order to be conjured and made into a weapon. While weapons of pre-made design can be given a sign in order to be summoned from various locations away from the user of said magic.

Purity - A form of magic capable of healing damage over time and even regenerating internal and external limbs and nearly fatal wounds. This magic can also regain health by dealing damage, those this form of healing is limited. Purity magic also has the power to purify certain ailments and debuffs, such as poison, burn, freeze, decreasing spell power and some more exotic status ailments. Purity is able to dispel magic. Dispelling can not dispel a user of using magic, but simply dispel the magic itself. Purity can even reflect certain types of magic and damage.

Servant Magic - Magic that allows the user to summon, beasts, demons deities or other living creatures to serve you in battle or for other uses. You may either create a pact with these servants to form a partnership or attempt to control them by overpowering their will with your own. You may even form a connection with your servant to call upon their powers at a moment's notice or fuse with their being with your own person for a temporary amount of time. Through this union, the user gains the physical and magical attributes of their servant for a limited amount of time but will suffer backlash once the timed limit is up from strain of taking on more than the human body can normally handle. There is also the risk of your will being taken over by an unwilling servant taking over the mind or violently separating from the user. An unsynced mind can cause problems like unstable powers dangerous to even the user or weaker than it should be.

Artillery Magic - A long range pure aether based magic that utilizes the use of glyphs that can either be summoned at a moments notice to fire on sight or placed in strategic locations to be fired later. The glyphs change depending on the firing style, some styles include rapid fire, cannonball, shotgun, or sniper. The bullets can be curved, deflected, redirected or bounce off of objects, depending on the user's wishes. The user may even create a magic bullet that they can control at will. The bullets can be altered with effects, such as explosive shots, piercing bullets that can go through certain deflect magic, even bullets that make a chain to the glyph on impact.

Force Magic - A type of magic that allows you to control the force of gravity and or polarity. Using polarity one can repel or attract objects and even people if used correctly, by positively or negatively charging themselves objects or even other people. A user of force magic can even charge and object and indirectly charge something else by hitting it with said object. They may even use this ability, to in a sense defy gravity by walking on certain surfaces say for example up the side of a building. If as the user chooses to use the force of gravity they may increase of release the force of gravity on an object or person by making them lighter or heavier, they can also make the impact if their strikes stronger like making themselves light for speed and making themselves heavy at the last minute to make the hit harder. They can also condense a mass of objects and crush them whilst maintaining it's original weight and density. A user of this magic is able to make a barrier of magical force that can repel and push the enemy back. Those magic does have it's downsides, by charging themselves they run the risk of being hit by objects oppositely charged from themselves, they can also hurt themselves by making themselves too heavy or taking on more force than they can handle. Force magic requires physical contact from the user or an object that has physically been affected by the user

Local Hotspots​

Cygnus Nightclub - A very successful nightclub where anyone who's anyone hangs out here. It is the talk of the town, mostly because if you want info on anything you go here to get it.

Boulder lake - a lake a few minutes away from the city, that seems to be untouched by humans.

Sky tower - A place of business and school. Those who go hear have a bright future or are stuck in a rut.

Shallow District - a place said to be the lowest of lows. But still, some people seem to thrive here?
