It was a bright and early morning, being one of the few who woke up extra early to get in some sunbathing, Jin snuck out of his quarters to head up to the main deck where he dropped to the floor only to lay on his back to take in the pleasant warmth of the sun's rays. With the ship locked into autopilot as they soared through the skies far above the clouds, Jin wasn't too worried about them crashing into anything anytime soon.
Minutes passed while he spent his time sunbathing on the main deck before the sound of heavy footsteps could be heard coming up the stairs from behind him. Even with the sounds of the footsteps, he showed no care to check who had woken up and decided to make an appearance but rather simply continued to stay in place the entirety of the time. By the time the individual with the heavy stomping sounds had reached the main deck, they approached the relaxing Jin only to pause as he towered over the male til he even blocked out the sunlight. "Enjoying yourself, Jin?" The deep scruffy male voice confirmed any suspicion Jin might've had regarding who had approached him, it was the Captain.

With a heavy sigh in response to the question, Jin slowly opened one of his eyes only to look up at the towering old man who was his Captain. "C'mon gramps, how much further til we reach this 'hint' of yours? Are you sure this place..even really exists?" As he questioned the old man, Jin helped himself to sit up, finally opening both his eyes before turning his head over his shoulders to speak with his Captain. The large male meanwhile would only chuckle in response as he began approaching the bow of the ship. "But Jin, my boy. We're already here..." As he spoke, he'd turn to look off into the distance, seeing the large floating island that was their destination. However, something looked off about it the moment the old man had stared at it, there was smoke coming from a section of the forest and what looked to be the wreckage of some sort. That was odd, the island was supposed to be completely inhabited since it was in the middle of nowhere, and yet there was wreckage, did someone crash on the island.

Either way, whether someone crashed on the island or not, they were still going to land. The whole point of coming here was because the Captain had overheard some information from their previous stop at one of the ports, the information was nothing more than rumors about an island off to the east that supposedly had connections to some sort of ancient civilization that had some connect to the World Tree. With these details along with notes he already possessed, it all led in the same direction, the island was real which possibly meant the ruins were as well.

"Jin! Go wake everyone up! I'm going to bring the ship in! As soon as we land, get Red and Serina to head over towards that wreckage off in the distance! You're coming with me and get Traqil. We're going to check out the ruins!" As he shouted his orders, Jin was quick to hop onto his feet before sprinting back down to the crew's quarters section of the ship, knocking and shouting down the hall as he made his way down. "Wake up everyone! We're about to land! Up and at 'em!" Calling out to the crew, Jin would come to a halt in front of Serina's, Red's and Traqil's room's only to let them know about what the Captain's orders were before finally proceeding to head back up to the main deck where the old man had finally brought the ship onto the island fully, hovering several feet off the ground before several large mechanical supports came out from the bottom of the ship to allow it to fully be seated down on the ground.

Lindsey was in a nice comfterble deep sleep and dreaming away. She was under her covers cuddling her favorite book like it was a favorite teddy bear. Yep everything was perfect and peaceful until she heard someone suddenly yelling out to wake up. Lindsey suddenly sat up sleepy eyed and looked around. At first glance you would call Lindsey's room messy but if looked around long enough you come to realize that strangely enough she did have her things organized just in a messy way. She took a big yawn and stretched out her arms as she tried to get her thoughts together. She then got up and walked up to her bedroom door and cracked it opened and peeked out to see who yelling at everyone to wake up.

"Jin....." Lindsey mumbled as she saw Jin standing at Serina and Traqil's door, he seemed to stop there for some reason. After discovering who woke her up Lindsey closed the door and walked over to her mirror to see if she was presentable. "Looks Fine..." She mumbled. She wasn't fine her hair hadn't been braided and she was still in her pjs but Lindsey's brain wasn't quite on this morning you see she had actually went to bed only 3 hours ago and she was exhausted. She stumbled over to the door and headed out of her room. She walked in a daze as she made her way to the kitchen. If anyone managed to say hi or good morning to her she probably grunted at them or mumbled something back they couldn't understand.

Once she made it to the kitchen she....."Wait...this isn't the kitchen...." Lindsey mumbled in confusion. She had some how made it to the deck. Lindsey then stood there as her already half closed eyes started to close fully. For moment she started dreaming until she suddenly woke herself up. "I'm good! I'm awake!" She suddenly yelled out. Her eyelids then fell to being half shut again and she turned around and made her way to the kitchen, this time succeeding in her journey. When she got to the kitchen she stumbled around trying to make coffee. There is a 100 times extra strength special coffee that can make you feel wide awake as if you had a good nights rest unfortunately though after so many hours you could just suddenly pass out and fall asleep. This wasn't new for Lindsey though she had done this many times. There were some awkward times where she fell asleep in the middle of a fight, though lucky for her whoever she happens to be fighting usually gets confused seeing her just fall sleep that it gives her crew mates time to hop in before they decide to strike her while she's down. But hopefully that wouldn't be a problem today.

A heavy breath slipped from Red as he pulled on his black and crimson red coat, buttoning the golden buttons as he exited his room with his usual blank expression that hid his sour mood. Of course, just as he was about to get an early start on the chair he had been making for the past few days, he was called on duty. Besides that, he had barely any time to arrange proper attire for his outing, throwing on what he had worn yesterday since the orders from Jin seemed urgent. It felt, unsettling. Just as he pulled on his gloves over his scarred hands, he heard the sound of light footsteps approaching from behind him, along with the muffled curses. Looking over his shoulder he spotted Serina rushing down the hallway, just pulling up her pants and buttoning them while her leather gear was clenched between her teeth. He couldn't help but shake his head at the sight but paused to wait for his partner. "Serina, I see you've received Jin's message from the captain," he said as he inspected his coat for wrinkles or lint. An irritated huff escaped Serina as she buttoned the last button to her leather pants and came to a stop at his side, spitting out her leather gear into her hands.

"That obvious? Damned Jin came pounding on my door shouting those bloody orders like a shrieking harpy and made me fall out of bed! Was damn near naked hoppin' around tryin' to get my shit together!" she complained as she began strapping her leather girdle and belts over her waist. "Not to mention my damned head is pounding from last night," she muttered as she winced from the throbbing in her head, regretting the extra five shots from last night. Red let out a small sigh as he spun his finger around, giving Serina the signal to turn. She did so and raised her hair to show her back to him, giving him room to lace the girdle and strap the belt loops.

"Perhaps less liquor before bed will remedy that issue," he proposed as he worked on the back of her gear, only to be responded by a loud scoff.

"And where's the fun in that? Still young, pretty, and the livers workin fine, so might as well go all out," she replied with a smirk over her shoulder before wheezing as Red tightened her girdle. "Bleedin hell, be gentle back there. Don't you know how to treat a lady?" Red rolled his eyes as he stepped away from her, resting his hand atop his sheathed sword on his hip.

"Young and pretty, perhaps, but far from a lady I'm afraid," he said, a ghost of a smile on his lips as Serina gave him a sour look. "Come along now, we have work to do," he ushered her forward before walking down the hallway once again. As she matched his steps and adjusted the leather pads along her arms, she spoke up.

"So, downed ship exploration?" she questioned, her focus on adjusting her remaining gear.

"Seems so, just the two of us while the others investigate some ruins," he replied before reaching down to his holstered revolver and pulling it free to inspect as they began to climb the stairs toward the upper decks. "Same rules as always, be prepared, no detours and-"

"No muckin about, yeah yeah old timer, I know," she finished as she finished fastening her belt, ensuring both her blades were secured. Red arched a brow and glanced over to her.

"Old timer? I'm only a year your elder," he pointed out with pursed lips and furrowed brows. Serina snorted and shrugged as she looked over at him.

"Well, you certainly act like an old man at times. Always so serious and gloomy lookin'," Red scoffed at that as he holstered his revolver.

"Well someone must take things seriously if you aren't," he replied before the two of them finally reached the top deck. It seemed they had already landed so Red and Serina wasted no time heading for the side of the ship and taking hold of the ropes from the rigging. "Red and Serina heading out!" he called before stepping off the railing and propelling down, Serina following suit with a loud cheer as the two descended from the ship's ropes. Upon touching land their destination was set from the plume of black smoke rising from the distance. With their goal in sight, the two hurried off at a slow jog.

_A short trek later_
The stench of burnt gunpowder and blood began to fill the air as Serina and Red finally came into view of the downed ship. It was a grizzly sight the two of them were used to by now, neither of the two flinching at the stench or sight of a few bodies scattered around the crashed ship. Red looked to Serina and motioned with his head forward, receiving a nod in reply from her before she pulled her blades free and began to advance together. Red pulled his sword and revolver free, his thumb gently rubbing against the hammer of his pistol. "Well," Serina began in a hushed tone. "Not a smooth landing eh?" she said before looking down at one of the bodies. "Red," she grabbed his attention as she kicked over the body. Both stared down at the body and Red gave a small grown of annoyance.

"Bounty Hunters," he muttered with a slight venom in his voice. Serina smirked and twirled her blades between her fingers.

"Ah, Bounty Hunters, such a lovely lot huh? Makes me remember our fond bounty hunting days," she said, sarcasm thick in her voice before she looked up at the ship. "So, whatcha think took these sorry lot out of the sky?" she questioned pointing her blade to the ruined ship. Red glanced at Serina and back to the corpses left behind from whatever battle was fought here.

"Not really our concern for now, but we have to report back something for the captain," he said before tapping the tip of his blade on the blood-soaked ground. "We'll search around the area first, see if we can find any points of interest, then search whatever remains of this husk of a ship," he proposed looking her way, to which she shrugged.

"Sounds good to me, may even find some good loot amongst this mess," she mused with a little excitement.

"Save the looting for later please," Red sighed before the two of them began the investigation of the crashed bounty hunter ship. Only a few corpses covered the ground, most likely having been flung off the ship from the impact or killed before the fall, some were nearly impossible to tell from the damage. For any other soul Red would feel sympathy, but bounty hunters were never his favorite group of people, even though he was once one himself for a short time. The further they moved into the destruction, the stronger the stench of smoke and death became, again nothing for the two partners as they pushed on, but it was never a pleasant experience. Soon enough though the two would come to a stop, both readying their weapons as the sound of sobbing reached their ears. Red and Serina slowly moved forward to the noise coming from behind a piece of wreckage broken from the ship. Serina motioned for Red to go toward the left before going right. Quietly the two advanced on separate flanks before coming around the wreckage to see a figure hunched over a motionless body, sobbing in their hands. Red arched a brow as he was closer and got a better look at the weeping stranger.

Even with the thin veil of smoke surrounding them, Red managed to make out a young small woman in a long white dress with green hair. As Red inspected her hair, he arched a brow as something odd stuck out to him. Was that... grass? There were flowers on her head as well, but they seemed attached to her body! Red gripped his pistol slightly tighter before looking to Serina and motioning with his revolver to follow his lead. After she gave a nod in understanding Red began to take a slow step-by-step toward the crying woman, finally getting a better look at the body she was weeping over, someone with similar features as her, grass hair and flowers. Once he was only a few feet from her Red slowly raised his pistol, not pointing it at the girl, but cocking the hammer back to let the metallic sound fill the air. "I request you not move, remain calm, and do nothing foolish. I'm not an enemy as long as you don't make me one," he spoke, his voice stern and calm as he gave his orders. Outside of his view, he saw Serina not too far off prepared to help if the woman tried anything.

  • "Carefully..." he whispered to himself; face pressed flat against the table before him. His pencil glided over the worn paper, documenting the surrounding landscape. He had spent hours last night memorizing the hills and valleys shown on his astral plain, hoping to have something decent done for Serina and Red before they went to explore the ruins and wreckage. It took two scrapping two entire maps before he was satisfied with his work. Perhaps it was the lack of sleep or the disorienting drawbacks he had recently recovered from. Whatever it was, it was making him sloppy, and thus somewhat aggravated.

"Gods... what is wrong with me today..." He asked himself, though the bags under his eyes answered the question quite well.

Just as he was tracing the final mark, his long white hair fell right onto the map, distracting him for just long enough to mess up the line. He stared despondently at the squiggly line that starkly contrasted the perfection of the map as a whole. After a moment of silence, he slumped into the chair, letting his head hit the desk with a small thump.

"Why?" he whined to himself weakly, grieved at the loss of a perfect map. "Maybe I should sleep... I likely need it..."

With new determination driven by the hopes of rest, Traqil gracefully stood from his seat and began to straighten up the library. There's nothing that does quite a good job of cheering him up like cleaning. He delicately picked up the few books he had used throughout the night and began to sort them back into their respective places. He gave each book a gentle pat once it was put away as if he was silently thanking them for their service. Then, he moved to put the pencils back in their cup, sharpening each one before he put them back. He placed them 'point up' so that they wouldn't dull while in the cup. Finally, he rolled up his completed map, deciding to accept the last-minute impurity. After all, He'd have time to fix it in the morning... right?

Traqil decided to sleep in the library tonight. He'd rather stay here than have to sleep beside Sabrina's... "nest," as she may call it. Besides, he might wake someone on the way to his room.

Satisfied with his decision, he lay his head in his arms and closed his eyes, ready to try to drift to sleep when, *BANG BANG BANG*

Jin went through the halls, waking up the crew. "WHAT??" Traqil shouted, shocked to find it was already morning. He ripped away the black curtain he had placed over the window, and sure enough, there was a rising sun. "No! Gods, it can't be!" he exclaimed rather loudly, furious with himself for letting the night get away from him.

"There goes my chance for sleep," Traqil whispered to himself as he quickly gathered his map and a pencil or two for the road. He rushed over to his cabin, hoping to find Serina there. Unfortunately for him, she was already gone, likely off to search the area and report back before the rest of the crew followed. "They're already gone," he grumbled, placing the map securely on his belt. He decided he didn't have time for coffee and swiftly made his way above deck, searching for Jin in order to deliver the map.

Julie
Juliette Primrose
Doctor

"Wake up everyone! We're about to land! Up and at 'em!"

The familiar voice reached the doctor's ears. Her head turned as her dark locks shifted kept in a pony tail behind her. Her sharp hazel eyes shifting away from the book she had been reading. Her body was turned to the side on a small matt, her leg lifted up into the air in what was in morning routine of stretching. She did value keeping herself in good shape, and taking part of some light reading while doing so tended to be the most effective way of doing so. While the ship had a gym, she felt far more productive doing so in the privacy of her own room early in the morning where none would bother her and she could fully concentrate.

Her finger delicately brushed across the page taking note of the last of the text as she took the red ribbon she used as a bookmark, slipping it into the page before closing the door. She lowered her leg turning to her back. The doctor rolled herself back slightly before using some momentum to spring herself up jumping to her feet crouched down. Her hand took the book before straightening herself back up. The doctor moving to the nearby dressing to open the drawn sticking the book inside before closing the drawer. She could of used a little longer stretching for the day, but it wouldn't be the end of the world cutting things short.

It took a few moments before Julie would finally walk out from her room freshly changed into some clothing that was actually decent for the outside world. A pair of nice form fitting black dress pants fell down her legs stopping short of a black pair of lace-less shoes. Her typical yellow tank top worn as the dark thin straps left her shoulders exposed. Her white jacket was left back in her office, though despite the sudden 'call to arms' there didn't seem to be any dire rush for her to head over. She could get something to eat and drink first. As far as she knew their destination wasn't meant to be some town, so there wasn't likely much need for her to end up going off deck. They were far from dire need of medical supplies to try and scrounge for some out in the wilds somewhere. Julie made sure things were well stocked up.

Her head turned glancing over to room 8 staring quietly at it. Sabrina was likely still sleeping at this point. She knew enough to manage on her own, and there was little reason for her to try and stir the girl if she had managed to sleep through Jin's shouting. A soft smile lingered on her lips. If she was still asleep she didn't feel as if there was any reason to try and stir her. The more rest she could get the better. She was still young after all, she could use all the rest she can get, particularly with how energetic she could really be. The woman's head turned as she went up the steps heading over to the lounge.

She had arrived at the lounge venturing over to the dining area to the kitchen. She could see Lu and Lindsey both there. Her eyes couldn't help but linger over at Lindsey. Her eyes rather stern looking at her. She could easily tell she hadn't slept much if at all. The fatigue was rather clearly plastered if her actions didn't betray just how tired she must be. All so sloppy in working to prepare some coffee... and clearly the type that Julie would of likely gave a light scolding about not being good for her health. A light smile lingered on her lips as she ventured over towards Lindsey deciding to spare Lu her attention even if so briefly as she went to prepare herself some tea.

"Good morning Lindsey, get a good bit of rest I see?" She spoke with a warm smile. Her words dripping with her bit of her playful sarcasm. A perhaps mercy given Julie could very easily be much more firm with her words at times when it came to the health of others. Her teasing was a rather good sign she wasn't going to pester you too much, even if it was clear she felt the need to comment about it none the less. She seemed otherwise rather content as she heated up the water preparing the tea bag she had. In this case it was a custom blend of various herbs. A blend largely in part she had come upon due to her late husband. The smell of it was quite strong though refreshing. Her hand delicately pouring the hot water filling the cup allowing it to mix with the leaves and change the color of the water to a more greenish yellow.

She lifted the cup up as her eyes darted over to Luvenia seeing her hunched over on the floor. Her eyes briefly glancing at her as she took a sip pulling the cup away. A soft refreshed sigh slipping from her lips. The doctor slowly walking over glancing over to see if there might be any particular fruits that might look appetizing for her to call her breakfast. Lacking someone to cook any food, Julie wasn't exactly prepared to do so herself. While she was a decent cook, she didn't tend to care all that much to do so unless she needed to. It was a time commitment she really didn't feel bothered with most of the time. Unless it was perhaps to give Sabrina something to eat she didn't tend to care too much.

"You know a chair would be better suited for you. It does wonders more for supporting your back. You don't want to end up developing back pain from sitting yourself in such an awkward fashion in the morning, particularly if you haven't managed to get any stretching in. I know it can be a bit uncomfortable up there." She spoke more off handedly. An assumption on her part that she had been up on the crow's nest though she was familiar enough with the woman that she knew she did seem to be up there in the morning.

"How did it look? Anything interesting from what you could see... if you did happen to get a look over it?" She asked Luvenia curiously. While she shifted her words away from Lindsey she wasn't ignoring the girl either. Julie tended to be the type who didn't mind mingling with others. A stark difference from how she once was, not that she was the most delicate with her words either. Still, she always tended to cake her words with some concern for other's health and wellbeing. She was a doctor after all.

  • It had been a turbulent night, one birthed of ghoulish nightmares and bleeding ichor, watching his lover, his soulmate and partner in crime wither against the blankets, breath hot and heavy as it came in short, raspy gasps. It could have been worse, but the weak assurance did nothing to soothe his concerns. Nightmares are difficult to grasp, birthed from our fears alone, omens, some would say to a daunting future. If only I could protect you, my xΔ«ngān, but it is not I that can save you. He breathed wearily, calloused hand from years worth of sword practice coming to rest against his face, fingers sinking into the pliable flesh of his temples in contemplation, tiredness weighing heavily against his pulsating soul that thumped in tandem with the slow beat of his heart. Although I cannot save you from your demons, I can be there to share the burden, if only you would let me.

With that, Zhulong pulled away, hand dropping to stare at the empty spot, hand skimming over the soft blankets collected from their many journeys. It provided a homey feeling, a makeshift nest perfect for them and anyone else who needed a quiet place to rest away from the hustle and bustle of being a crewmate. Liquid golden flickered, settling on the various objects that breathed Tsukuyomi, animal bones neatly tucked away, and unfinished projects scattered throughout the room in places that didn’t risk injury. Of course, Tsukuyomi always managed to knick his finger or burn himself, but it came with being a blacksmith, knowledgeable in various things.

His plush, ivory-hued lips parted at the beginning of a yawn, hand reaching to muffle the sound that emitted, timbre low and hoarse, starting his morning routine, taming his mane of white, fluffy locks and tying it up partially with a red ribbon and pulling out his clothing for the day that stuck to his muscular build, broad shoulders pulled back in a languid strength as he fiddled with the off-set sleeve, unattached save for the black elastic band that wrapped around his bicep twice, securing its perch. He hummed, something low and thunderous that vibrated, ears swerving on top of his mane, catching the last tendrils of conversation from Jin talking to Red, Serina, and Traqil. A peculiar morning, this has become. Perhaps it is selfish of me to hope for a mundane morning, but I wouldn’t have joined if I hadn’t expected times of unpredictability. He sighed, breathless and tense, tail coming to flicker behind him in contemplation, brows pulled downward. It is wise to be careful. The world is as unpredictable as the grueling waves of the untamed sea. He thought with a flick of his tail, emerging from his shared bedroom.

Zhulong gravitated toward the kitchen carrying his glaive tucked against his shoulder, calloused fingers curled languidly around the elongated pole, catching sight of Lindsey and Luvenia, each within their world. β€œGood morning.” He greeted the two, golden hues crinkling with an upturned quirk of his lips in a cheery grin.

It wasn’t until he noticed Tsukuyomi cooking. The white lion rested his glaive against the table’s edge to press a chaste kiss to Tsukuyomi’s temple, thick, calloused fingers reaching to thread through luscious blue locks lightly tugging the strands. This earned an annoyed huff from the raven. He grinned cheekily, golden hues crinkling, causing clear crow’s feet and smiling lines against his marred milky-white flesh. β€œGood morning, my xΔ«ngān.” He rumbled like calm thunder, bumping his nose against the other’s cheek in an affection greeting, pulling away to observe his husband’s hands, busy with their task of cooking them a pleasant meal for the day, having felt the ship touch down as it rumbled beneath his boot-cladded feet.

β€œHow long have you been awake, my love?” He whispered against the raven’s ear, gaze narrowing. β€œDo not forget, my xΔ«ngān, that you can wake me.” He rumbled, tail reaching to wrap around Tsukuyomi’s wrist, brow raising at the flutter of wings, annoyance spread openly across a haunting face drawing a loud laugh from the lion, grinning, Zhulong released the other, stepping back to see a steaming cup of jasmine tea awaiting him. β€œMy xΔ«ngān knows me well.” He complimented, sitting down and taking a sip.

An island reclaimed by nature. Underneath the lush greenery once stood a mighty town, and at the highest point, a barely visible path leads up to the shrine, which looks as if it was once well kept, even in recent years, only now, has it fallen into dusty disrepair. Shohei, adorn in his shrine outfit was sitting in the main room of the shrine, holding a little box as the whirring sound of a ship reached his ears. This would have been the second ship that had arrived, except that the first it was crashed. He snacked the little box and shoved it under his outfit, a little hand clutching a leaf amulet as he ran out of the shrine, looking around then closed his eyes, the amulet in his hands glowing slightly, a wave of energy rushing through the island. His brown eyes opened, now with a faint blue glow to them, as he saw 5 small spirits sitting at his feet, small animals that once lived on the island and Shohei nodded to himself.

β€œWatch them, the new ship. Before the 4th hour is up return to me and tell me what you have seen and heard,”
he said softly, blinking a few times before his eyes returned to normal and he could no longer see his spirits but, he could feel them, knowing they were out there helping him now. The first ship was a dangerous and scary ship, according to the Florian that had survived. This ship could be one trying to recover the lost ship, or something new, and he couldn’t risk any more trouble. So many had suffered all because of a singular item, one that is now his job to protect. While no one else was around, Shohei pulled out the box, opening up slightly to see the shimmering leaf, its hues changing and swirling like the seasons as it stayed in pristine condition, as it has always been since it was found by one of his ancestors many centuries ago. The Everlasting Leaf is one of the few relics that people worshipped and proven to be from the World Tree itself. This was his family's prized possession to guard until it was almost taken not even a year ago.

β€œDon’t you worry Mom, Dad, I’ll protect it with my life,”
he whispered, bowing his head to the box before closing it up once more, and putting it away between the folds of his clothing, running back inside the ruined shrine, to the upper levels, a spot where one couldn’t see him from the bath but he could see others walk upon the Shrine’s sacred ground.

Meanwhile, as soon as the young shrine guardian spoke his orders, the spirits ran off, going in different directions. One went to go watch where the Florian rested, watching their friend, and three went to where the new ship landed. Upon seeing a small party leave, a spirit began to follow closely behind, the other two spirits entering the ship, looking up and down and watching as scenes began to unfold.

He had been up early with the sun, doing a quick look of the ship in the mornings to ensure no damage had happened overnight and some trouble some spots were still in tack. The Infinity was a beautiful ship, but her age was beginning to show meaning there was always something to check up on. And it was Azure’s home, and he cared deeply about the ship, doing anything he could to make sure she was okay.

Once the basic checks were done, the rest of the morning Azure found themselves in the gym. They wear baggy sweats with an equally baggy t-shirt and go through a very simple routine, focused on mostly maintaining their body more than anything, not needing to push it to become stronger but to keep it healthy. His strength was a blessing and curse, and it required constant training. Focus. Control. Composure. Using strength in moderation. Azure was never great at it, but the regiment that Gramps had put him on was helping, though recently it had to be changed as it was beginning not to be as effective. For just a bit over an hour, he was in the gym and by this point, he heard people begin to move about. So he knew it was time to stop and sprint to the shower, one of the more confusing parts of his days. However, he had a setup with Julie, so long as no one else was in there and nothing major was happening, he could use the infirmary shower instead.

Azure was off, quickly moving from the gym to his room to grab some simple clothing, and up to the infirmary only giving a slight hi or wave to anyone he might pass as he ducked into the dark room, leaving the lights off as he proceeded to wash up for the day. At least with the lights off, he wouldn’t have to see the body he was born with. It caused Azure a lot of trouble, and was not worth standing infront of the communal showers for way too long until someone asked him what he was doing at that point he panicked and went into the female bathrooms which always ended up being the wrong option.

Either way, Azure washed up and walked out of the shower wearing a tank that covered up their binder, with a loose black button down and black jeans, quietly dipping back into his room for a moment to drop off his workout clothing and towel and end up wandering into the kitchen, of course stopping to observe the Island they had landed on. A good time to check the bottom of the ship and the area around the engine and the underside of the wing. Either way, it didn’t seem that he was going to be heading out into the island so, he had some time to enjoy breakfast. As he walked in, only shortly after Zhulong, he would be quick to rummage through the drawers to make his after-workout shake.

β€œGood morning all, see that most of you are less than rested,”
he commented light-heartedly, knowing that sleep was optional for many, but his body more than anything needed rest. A cup, a container with powder, alongside pulling out some fresh fruits and water, he laid his ingredients on a free counter, trying to stay out of the way of people, knowing that he took up so much space already by being so tall. It was a sudden growth spurt he had unexpected, but Gramps seemed to think it was a side effect of his strength, which Azure could only assume was correct.

β€œAnyone remember exactly why we came to this island? Been trying to remember why all morning during my workout.”

Lindsey

Eloise always took the quiet moments in the early hours to take time and pray and have a moment of meditation. She doesn’t often spend a lot of time in her room but when she does, it always ends up with herself sitting on the floor, holding the last thing that the Arch Bishop gifted her, a piece that connects her back to her faith once more. It was silent until unconsciously she began to pray aloud.

β€œMight World Tree, ancient and wise, hear my humble cries.
Grant me guidance and strength as I devote myself to thee
Serving and honoring all life as holy, bless me with courage.

In the shade of your branches may thee grant me
The strength to protect with a pure and just mind
Bestow upon me wisdom from the roots of the many
I, a sapling, breathing the air you so humbly cleanse

As the roots connect me to my brothers and sisters
Let us learn from the echos of the past
Let them speak to me and show me the path you set for me
A champion of hope, as those who served before me

Might World Tree, ancient and wise, hear my humble cries
Bless a humble sapling, defender of the land and skies,
In the wind of your wisdom and love, to uphold your will.

In Eternal Renewal”

After bowing deeply, their head gently touched the floor, only to jerk up when hearing someone begin to shout, hand reaching out to instinctively grab golden bands they work often and a small bag that always carried part of the land with them when there was no land near them, always prepared to defend themselves but quickly relaxed. Though it had been some time since they joined, Eloise was always aware of the target on their back. Many saw it bad enough that she left her order, supposedly forsaking her oath, but to also be an ex-royal guard made Eloise's head worth a pretty penny or two. Yet she wouldn’t be taken away so easily. She still saw it as her job to protect one person here, a familiar face to many once she had the right attire on, the princess hidden amongst the many members of this faithful ship, one that she joined herself, initially only for the princess, however, after getting to know the captain, has become slightly more interested in his goals. The world tree is a mystery to all, how it grants power, and how it has lasted for so long. She has spent much of her life faithful to the church, intensely studying the mysteries of the world tree, and perhaps it had led Eloise here to this ship with the princess for a reason.

Eloise got up slowly, looking towards their mostly empty side of the room, their amour laid out neatly on their bed and she sighed, deciding that maybe today, they would not need it, simply keeping the clothing they wore underneath on. Well-fitted leggings with boots to match, a tunic top and a leather fitted vest that is slightly corseted for support and her green over skit tucked in for when she might hear her armor on, and lastly, leather gloves for extra protection for other parts of her extremities and padding against her usual armor, that she was still debating about putting on. Eloise once again decided against it but left the gloves on anyways, checking the small mirror on the wall, and seeing they were presentable enough, she heard doors begin to open and recognized one set of footsteps as Lindseys, and quickly followed. All of her years of training and watching for the princess still held deep meaning for the ex-paladin and ex-knight. Learning to deeply care for the others well being but, while no one else knew of Lindsey’s true identity, it was, strange now. On top of how much Lindsey has changed over time. As calmly as Eloise could, they followed Lindsey up to the kitchen, trying to not act like they were hovering over them, watching their every move and step with a critical eye, though many members were used to this behavior of Eloise and assumed it was just her formal training she received not just once but twice over.

β€œGood morning everyone, Lindsey,”
she stated, standing next to the other female and leaning into and whispering in her ear.
β€œMiss Lindsey, are you sure this is appropriate attire to wear in a communal space? Shall I fetch you a coat or robe to wear?”
Eloise was careful not to speak too loudly, but clearly showed concern towards Lindsey, acting like a shield to guard Lindsey in case something were to slip in such indecent public wear.

β€œAnd please, for the love of the world tree, eat food and do not drink all of that horrendous concoction you call coffee, drink some water please?”

Squinting against awareness, a bleary glance lets Damien know that their roommate had long left. Sometimes they forgot the man was technically a part of the ship’s ’scouting party’. He looked far more content working on what looked like a chair. Not that they’d ever confirmed that’s what it was. Red’s stoicism made it hard for Damien to approach in any friendly manner. At least one that didn’t immediately make them want to crawl into bed, beneath the covers, and away from the awkwardness… They could at least appreciate the passion he put into his current project. From a distance.

Really that’s how most of of the interactions Damien had with the others. Struggling past the hurdle of the β€˜coworkers’. Person also living on the ship. To maybe β€˜acceptable nuisance’. Made it super difficult to comfortably practice their songs or even their β€˜performance’ when you hadn’t quite figured out who’d tolerate someone playing in the background. Let alone having some illusion turning an entire room into an aquarium.

Damien swinging themselves to sit at the edge of their bed with a yawn. Pulling a sweater over their pjs, not yet ready to commit to the waking world. Part of them were contently exhausted. Having started another attempt at song writing. The lyrics still escaped their grasp, probably more so with burning the midnight oil, but the composition spoke of perhaps a duet. The progress of their first song upon the SS. Infinity was a whirlwind of emotions. Wild and free flowing. Overwhelmed by the open sea of stars. Their next seemed stifled by comparison, but truthfully it was better this way. Lest they burn out their drive into an art block. Besides, they had yet to fully work their way through the songbook they had bought last stop. So they weren’t even really stagnating.

They had barely attempted to hop on their wheelchair to either decide to wait for assistance to the upper levels or haul themselves when a knock made the decision for them. With practiced ease, they shuffled onto pillowed seat and swung open the door.

β€œHey Kala- Woo!”

That never got any less startling or amazing. The sudden liftoff from their wheelchair like they weighted nothing. At first, Damien had nearly refused the offer of being chauffeured through the ship. But after the first week hauling them and the wheelchair up and down, they nearly threw in the towel and rather used their out dated prosthetic to get around the ship. Till their crewmate Kaladin just picked them up like a unruly child and took it upon himself to see to it they got to the kitchen on time. Especially after too many mornings they arrived unfashionably late to either a mediocre attempt at breakfast or a cold one.

β€œPuntucal as always my good sir.”

Ah. A rare grunt of acknowledgment. Good luck for today. Damien letting themselves relax in Kaladin’s grip, resting their head on their hands with a curious tilt.

β€œAny idea what’s the agenda for today?”

Egnimatic silence. The usual response.

β€œFigured as much, probably a full day of exploring yet another clue to the Captain’s puzzle.”

A hum just as the two enter the kitchen, and with routine grace, Damien was sat at the table in their wheelchair. Kaladin going to sit beside his husband while gesturing to a plate of food. Nice. Giving thanks for the meal as Damien watched the beginning of the first signs of the normal chaos of mornings on the ship unfold. Swallowing down a particular tasty bite to answer the newest arrival’s question.

β€œDefinitely hit something new. I know Red was sent out to scout first thing.”

After waking or getting the attention of practically every crew member throughout the ship, Jin proceeded to head back up to the main deck where Captain Edwards had been standing by the railing of one side of the ship. His arms had been crossed as he watched the direction that Red and Serina had gone off to, while he did not doubt their capabilities to be able to handle whatever threats might be looming in the forest or within the mysterious wreckage, he did have his concerns as to what they would find there. It wasn't like this island was out in the open amongst many of the other ones floating throughout the land, it was slightly isolated from other surrounding islands, so if someone were to crash here, it would either be intentional that they crashed or they were headed here on purpose.

While the Captain had been lost at thought, he was completely unaware of his quartermaster's return until he had been standing beside him. "So, what do you think gramps? Are you sure we'll find anything here...or is this just going to be another dead end?" Questioning the elder, Jin kept his own gaze focused forward rather than looking up at the towering male. Hearing the uncertainty from Jin, the Captain only gave off a hearty laugh before patting Jin on top of his head followed by ruffling up his hair. "HAH! Come now, my boy! When have I ever been wrong?!" Hearing the response to his question being that of another question, Jin simply stared up with a raised brow without speaking a single word only for the elder's hearty laughter to turn to one of anxiousness and nervousness. Even without saying a word, he knew well enough what his quartermaster had been thinking.

Moments passed and soon another individual made their way up to the main deck, it was Traqil. Just from the sight of him, it appeared as though the male was lacking even more sleep than usual. Seeing this, Jin approached his fellow crewmate with a rather concerned look on his face. "Heey..Traqil, you look beat. Have you been staying up all night again?" As he questioned the male, Jin would turn his head over his shoulder only to find that the Captain was making his way over as well. Taking notice of Traqil's state, the Captain's usual joyful and outgoing expression would also turn to one that showed concern. "Traqil, stay with the ship. Jin and I will head towards the ruins, and please, get some rest child." Although the Captain knew well enough that the only actual 'child' on the ship was Sabrina, he considered everyone on the ship his children as he had considered the entirety of the ship his family.

Actually she was crying over more then just that but this particular florian that had just died was basically her breaking point. Her and the other florian had been taken from their home then the ship that had taken them was attacked and her and the other florian were the only survivors. The crash had taken out any other bounty hunters that were alive. Honeyrose had done her best to keep the other florian alive but she wasn't able to and seeing her die had all finally been to much for Honeyrose to deal with and on top of everything else she was so far from home. Luckily though she wasn't alone. She happen to meet a young boy named Shohei who she had become acquainted with. Despite this though she couldn't help to feel alone in this moment. Suddenly she stopped crying when she heard footsteps behind her and then a unfamiliar voice.

"I request you not move, remain calm, and do nothing foolish. I'm not an enemy as long as you don't make me one,"

Honeyrose slowly turned around and looked at the man who she now realized had a........what did those bounty hunters call them....guns? She didn't like guns. Honeyrose looked like a dear caught in headlights. She wasn't sure what to do. She thought they must of been bounty hunters which all the more made her fearful but she wouldn't allow them to capture her again. She slowly stood up and then finally spoke. "I'm not afraid of you bounty hunters. I-I'm not going to let you take me again!" She yelled out at him. A part of her wanted to take off and run but where to? She didn't want to lead them to to Shohei. Just great thing just seem to keep getting worse and worse.

As the strange grass-haired girl slowly rose and turned to Red, he paused at the moment, finding her large and pure green eyes to take him back. The grass-like hair, flowers from her head, and alien-like green eyes. Red has seen other races before, either in his travels or in chains from his past, but he's never come across something of this kind. Though resembling a human, it was clear she was far from it. Though Serina had been off to the side and not had such a clear sight of the girl as Red did, even she could tell this girl was off. Slowly she strolled around the girl's flank, her daggers lowered to her side since this little girl barely seemed like a threat. Though she couldn't see the girl's face, Red could see just how afraid and threatened the girl was, frozen at his arrival. Perhaps brandishing his revolver and sword as an introduction wasn't the best of ideas, but even a doe-looking girl like this could be dangerous. As she spoke though, Red furrowed his brows and cocked his head to the side, a bit offended she thought he was a bounty hunter. "Do I look like a Bounty Hunter to you girl?" he questioned with slight irritation in his voice. Serina snickered through twirling her blades before sheathing her blades to her hips.

"I dunno, you got the angry and unfriendly mug of one. Can't blame her for thinking that," she chuckled as crossed her arms under her chest. Red looked over the girl at Serina with a deep frown.

"Tell me the last time you've seen a damned Bounty Hunter dressed in fine clothing like this?" he questioned, his frown only proving Serina's point further. Serina grinned before taking a few steps forward to close the gap.

"Relax you pouty red-headed sourpuss, didn't you hear what she said? She was a part of their "cargo"," she pointed out before coming to the girl's side with a smile. Red's frown relaxed slightly, before looking at the grass-haired girl and putting the pieces together. With a sigh he holstered his firearm and sword, letting Serina take things from there. "Relax girl, we're not bounty hunters. Well, not anymore, that was more of a side gig and all before we found a new profession," she said before nodding her head to Red. "That tall glass of sunshine and smiles is Red, my partner in crime and hunter for our crew," she said, making Red cross his arms and frown once again, drumming his fingers along his arm as gave the girl a firm nod. "As for me, my name's Serina. The beautiful and charming scout of the S.S Infinity," she introduced before giving a slight bow. "So don't worry, cute grass-haired lady, we're the good guys!" she promised, which had quickly earned a scoff from Red as he looked away to hide his amused smirk.

  • The top deck was clean as always. Swept and waxed to perfection. He took a moment to appreciate the fresh air and sunlight that he had deprived himself of for the past day, being locked away in the library, busy with his cartography. His work paid off though, and now Traqil had a presentable map to hand to Jin before the expedition, one he was quite looking forward to. Every stop the ship made felt like a whole new adventure. Traqil craved the thrill and was endlessly glad to have left his old life for such experiences. It wasn't but a moment before he realized he wasn't alone.

He was quite glad to have seen the captain and Jin on deck and made a few steps towards them as he saw them approach. Upon reaching them.
"Good morning!" Traqil bowed while displaying a polite smile, hoping the smile might help hide the bags under his eyes. He did his best to pull his exhausted self together to be more presentable, but it certainly hadn't fooled Jin.
"Yes, you've caught me. I suppose I was up a bit later than I should have been, but I was able to complete this map!" he said cheerily as he pulled the map from his belt. Before he could showcase it, he heard the Captain tell him to stay behind. He twitched slightly at the nickname "child," feeling quite patronized, though he wouldn't admit it aloud. He knew the Captain had his best interest in mind and used the nickname fondly, so Traqil did his best to collect himself and move on.

"Right," he answered back after a moment of silence, soaking in the fact that he'd sabotaged his opportunity to explore. Damn insomnia... He took a quick breath and put away his feelings for the time being. "Well, if I won't be going, then I suppose I should hand this over," he said with a renewed smile, eager to display his latest work.

He held the paper out to them, and as usual for Traqil, was neat and unwrinkled, a testament to his attention to detail and tidiness. He unfurled it to display a map that highlighted a seven or so-mile area surrounding the ruins. "I managed to document quite a bit of land, but this is all I could capture with the energy I had. Only things created as a result of the natural world will show, so you won't be able to see the wreckage or ruins. I may not be able to tell you what they look like, but I can certainly show you where they are. I've marked their respective locations on the map in red."

Feeling satisfied by his little presentation, he rolled the map back up and delicately handed it to Jin. "I hate to put any more pressure on you than you already have," Traqil said to Jin with a hesitant look, "but if it isn't too much trouble, please do your best to return it in the condition I gave it to you in." He didn't mean to be impolite or any kind of stickler, but he couldn't help but be particular about his precious maps. He had a collection to grow, after all!

Lindsey noticed Lu walk and nod over to her but Lindsey didn't really respond. Her brain was so done this morning. Lindsey watched Lu work with the coffee pot and Lindsey finally realized that she had been trying to use the tea pot to make the coffee. "Oh for the love of-"

"Good morning Lindsey, get a good bit of rest I see?"

Lindsey looked over at Julie and gave her a tired smile. "Of course, can't you tell look how alive and awake I look." Lindsey said sarcastically back. She then laughed a little. Lindsey then tried to focus back on making the coffee this time using the right machine to make it. She was really paying attention to Julie anymore her mind fully focus on getting the coffee made just as she turned the coffee pot on to brew. Lindsey glanced over and noticed Zhulong walk in and over to his husband Sato......Lindsey stared at the two mostly at Sato. Had Sato been in here the entire time? How did I not notice him before? Lindsey thought to herself. "Boy I really am out of it." Lindsey mumbled to herself. Azure then walked saying good morning to everyone and pointing out how it didn't seem like everyone got a goodnights sleep. Lindsey just kind of nodded as she stared at her coffee. When Azure brought up the question to why they landed in the first place. Lindsey glanced at him then back at the coffee pot. Actually that was a good question which Damien managed to answer sort of.

β€œGood morning everyone, Lindsey,”

Lindsey glanced over at Eloise and nodded her way then continued to stare at the coffee she was brewing. As she was doing this Elosie walked over to her and started whispering to her about her attire and asked if she wanted a coat or a robe. To be frank Lindsey didn't really care she was in pjs but she looked over at Elosie and gave her a tired smile. "Well-" Before Lindsey could even begin her sentence Elosie continued on.

β€œAnd please, for the love of the world tree, eat food and do not drink all of that horrendous concoction you call coffee, drink some water please?”

Lindsey looked back at the coffee then sighed. "Awww come on El I'm barely functioning here this stuff wakes me up." You could here a very slight whine to her voice. Even though Elosie wasn't her bodyguard anymore she still tended to act like it. There was really not point in telling Elosie anything different it was like talking to a brick wall. Though honestly Lindsey didn't mind to much and quite frankly she was kind glad Eloise was still protective it was comforting. Lindsey with out realizing it had started leaning against Elosie falling asleep.

"Do I look like a Bounty Hunter to you girl?"

Honeyrose gave him a confused look. Clearly she thought he was one why ask a silly question like that? Though he seemed offended by the idea which meant he wasn't one. Right? Just as Honeyrose was about to speak back to him she heard snickering and turned her head towards source of it. Honeyrose hadn't realized there was another here. Honeyrose started to panic a little. If these two were here then that meant there had to be more right? before her thoughts could start running Serina spoke up and Honeyrose attention went to her and the red haired man. The woman seemed to be teasing her friend a bit but Honeyrose didn't let herself relax just yet even though they did seem they weren't going to harm her. Honeyrose watched as the woman walked over to her side.

"Relax girl, we're not bounty hunters. Well, not anymore, that was more of a side gig and all before we found a new profession. Honeyrose wasn't quite sure what to think but this Serina woman seemed nice. Honeyrose glance back at red then at Serina again. She smiled a little. "I'm Honeyrose." She said hoping that trusting them a little wouldn't come back to bite. ".....So why are you guys here?" Honeyrose asked as she started pull on her dress slightly. Suddenly a terrible thought came into her head. What if they were after Shohei and the leaf that came from the great mother tree. Honeyrose started to fidget more with her dress the more she thought about it. That had to be why they were here. So maybe they really weren't the good guys after all.

Honeyrose? The name took a moment to sink before Red began to slowly walk around the area, remaining in range of Serina and Honeyrose. Thanks to Serina's efforts they managed to get a name, but they were going to need more than that if they were going to gather any useful information out of her. As his eyes scanned the carcass of the ship around them, trying to paint an image in his head, Serina side-eyed him, recognizing that look, and let out a small sigh before glancing back to Honeyrose. It was clear to see the girl's anxiousness from the way she pulled on her dress, most likely nervous with two armed strangers surrounding her. Or perhaps she was debating what to share? Letting a brief moment of silence hang after Honeyroses question, Serina returned her attention to the nervous girl and gave a reassuring smile. "Not sure honestly, our Cap just told us to come here and have a quick look at a downed ship," she replied with a half-truth of an answer, deciding not to mention the captain's little ruin venture for now. Both she and Red weren't afraid of any threat from her, but both still didn't know what connection she had to this island, if she had any at all. "I wouldn't worry too much about that though, what matters is that you're okay," she assured her, giving a gentle pat on her shoulder.

"We still need to ask some questions though," Red spoke up as he stopped his silent investigation and turned to face Honeyrose with a calm and cold expression. "This crash was no doubt a rough one, but I find it hard you're the only survivor. It would also be silly to sink this ship that just fell out of the sky for no reason," he said before resting his hand atop the hilt of his sheathed sword. "So, what happened? What brought this ship down? What killed its crew? Because some of the bodies have wounds that indicate they were dead before the crash. How are you the only breathing soul left? What-"

"Red, Red slow it down!" Serina stepped in holding up both hands to stop his line of rabid questions. "This isn't an interrogation, yeah? Let's just take it slow," she proposed but only earned a frown from Red.

"Serina, I'll remind you we are not here to make friends. We shouldn't waste our time on pointless pleasantries," he insisted with a wave of his hand toward Honeyrose. Serina rubbed the bridge of her nose and sighed. The two of them mostly work well together, but when it comes to these situations the two of them have different methods.

"Sorry bout my friend here, he's one to just cut to the point," she said before turning back to Honeyrose. "We do need to know what happened though, sort of the job we've been given. Think you can tell us that much Honeyrose?" she asked with a patient tone. Meanwhile Red was feeling less than patient, becoming more and more concerned as he examined the scene around them. Bounty Hunters were never on the top of his list as big threats, but something was rubbing him the wrong way about this scene. Perhaps he was overthinking things, but the questions continued to pile up within his head as he impatiently tapped his finger atop the hilt of his sword.

"Of course, can't you tell look how alive and awake I look."

"Oh? I see, good to hear! Be a shame to see such a pretty smile get wrinkles at such a young age due to lack of proper sleep was all, glad to see you are getting plenty of sleep."

Julie smiled lightly a bit of playfulness with her words. She was after all looking out for her health. Even if she wouldn't directly come out to scold her it felt worth wild teasing her about it none the less. Her hand lifting the tea up to gently blow upon it leaving her well enough alone. The entrance of Eloise was well enough that even had she been tempted to push the girl further that it would be unnecessary. She did all the 'mothering' she would ever need to do for Lindsey in her stead. A simple little wave being the gesture of choice to the woman at her greetings.

Her eyes had shifted to Azure giving a light nod in response feeling already 'spent' as far as her waves went. She figured he must of came from the shower in the medical ward. It was something she had given him permission to use, though she preferred to keep such a fact on the more hush hush side. She didn't want others thinking they could use it for their own devices as well. Azure was always a good boy when it came to cleaning things up and leaving them tidy as she asked. It was there after all for any patients that might need it. She always made sure the area itself was as clean as it possibly could be to prevent contamination.

"I'm pretty sure we've had this talk before. That, or I have that 'Day jay voodoo' (de ja vous) whatever it is called or maybe last time you told me off for smoking, who knows. Whatever. I'm comfortable and happy at the moment, and that's what matters,"

"I suppose I might of, ah! Good that you brought up the smoking part, I'd half forgotten until you reminded me." Julie spoke with her own light chuckle in response. She could see her attention instantly drawn to Kaladin's cooking. Not that she at all couldn't admit to the fact it smelled quite nice. She wouldn't mind some a little herself though she held no expectations of having any of her own. Her own hands having ventured over to grab an apple noticing one left over. Her hand gently giving it a little toss glancing over it as to ensure it hadn't gone bad.

"I can't imagine you're joining the exploration possie or whatever you want to call it... So Julie, what's on your agenda? Anything I can help with to kill time?"

Julie's eyes shifted back to Lu as she gave the woman a light shrug. Her heard lifted up as her fingers gently spun the apple slowly around as if to use it like some sort of fidget toy. She didn't tend to be the type who normally needed something to fidget with in her hands though it was a little quirk with her when she was in thought often when both her hands were full. Her eyes shifting back to Luvenia tilting her head to the side. The dark haired woman looking on quietly.

"Well... one cadaver I have stored is going bad if you enjoy tossing a body over... granted being docked now I suppose that would be out of the question..." She spoke looking almost serious as if it might be an actual thing she was contemplating doing and having her help with with. Fortunately it wasn't something she tended to have others help her with. It was after all rather Maccabee. Not an activity she really would subject anyone else to dealing with. The light smile on her face betraying it to be a bit of a joke on her part.

"For the most part I just plan on getting my jacket and staying on standby given the worst might happen since we are on land. Perhaps check on the supplies, though I have a good handle at ensuring we are well stocked up on medical supplies. I'm more then certain that would be a fun activity sorting and conducting inventory?" She spoke with a light chuckle as she tapped the apple to her chin lightly, resisting the urge to take a bite just yet.

"I might take a little stroll around the island, though only in close proximity of the ship. I'll have to take a look around mostly if the plant life is interesting enough. It could be nice seeing if I can find and pick some nice flowers or maybe even some good herbs. Though... that's all depending on how safe the island itself is. I can't go wandering far in the off chance someone might get hurt. Well, and given Sabrina is a good girl and has something to keep herself busy."
She spoke softly with a little shrug. She wasn't very worried about her own wellbeing as much as others. Sabrina was a slight worry on her part given she knew how the girl could be. She tended to be more relaxed with the girl though being on some strange island it was only natural she could wonder off, something that she would be far less capable of being able to jump in and help her if she snuck off somehow.

  • Sabrina was sound asleep unaware of what was happening. Sabrina was deep sleeper so she didn't hear Jin when came yelling through out the halls for everyone to get up. She felt pretty well rested. That was mostly because Julie had made her go to bed on time. Sabrina hopped our of bed and walked over to her drawers. She had a closet but she was little to short to reach it and only really nice clothes were kept in there her everyday clothing was kept some in the drawers where she could reach them. Sabrina went through her clothes' and pulled out her favorite outfit and got dressed. Once she was done she was about to head out the room to get someone to do her hair like she always did but this time she decided not to. "I can do it myself. I don't need there help." With a determined smile she stood infront of her mirror and tired to do her hair. It was a little it harder then she thought but she was determined to do it. Once she was done she smiled at herself proud of her handy work. Though she thought it looked good in reality it was messy and needed to be redone but in her eyes it was perfect. After she was done she ran to her door and out the room. She noticed the halls were clear and didn't see anyone around. She figured they were all either in the kitchen or the main deck. Sabrina wasn't really feeling that hungry so she went up to main deck.

When she got there she noticed they had landed. Her eyes widen in excitement but then her mood changed when she realized there was no way they were going to let her off the ship......of course they didn't have to know. Sabrina glanced around and noticed Gramps Jin and Traqil luckily though hadn't they hadn't noticed her yet. So she quietly she sneaked off the ship and on to the island. Nothing was going to stop her from exploring. When she got off the boat she wasn't quite sure which way to go. But going to the crashed ship was definitely out of the question. "Gramps always told me to never go on crashed ships by myself.....though he also told me not to leave the ship by myself either.......I'll be fine." And with that Sabrina set out in a random direction.

Sabrina excitedly looked around at everything around her. She saw different birds and cute little animals. She tried to catch a bunny but that didn't end up working for her. As she continued on her journey she noticed a that was were sort of a path it wasn't very visible but she noticed it. She stopped wondering if she should turn back now but curiosity was winning so she decided to follow up the path. The path lead her to what looked like ruins of a shrine. "Whoa." Sabrina said quietly as she looked around. Sabrina walked to the shrine and took a look up at it. "Wonder what's in there...."

Panic among the spirits in both locations. At the shipwreck, the two spirits met before a hare quickly ran off back toward the ruined shrine to inform Shohei, at the ship, one spirit was left in the kitchen, one watching the captain and first mate on the deck, before hearing the rustling sounds of someone move, more sensitive to sound and movement than those who are living, a squirrel looking around before seeing a little girl begin to wander away from the ship, so it followed.

Back in their hidden peephole, Shohei had pulled out a deck of tarot cards just in case. He had yet to master the language of spirits but was getting closer, and needed some aid he could only find this deck of cards, which he did know all the meanings of thankfully. Sitting on the ground, he pulled his legs to his chest, burying his face into his knees, feeling the overwhelming anxiety begin to take over once again, terrified of so many new people coming to the once-forgotten island. The silence was deadly, a burden for him to carry, a little hand now clutching his amulet as his mind tried to understand the confusing feelings of the anxiety and fear that he had had to deal with. While he didn’t understand them perfectly, he knew he felt bad. However, before his mind could spiral further, his head shot up as a gust of wind came by, and a spray of cards would flutter out, only a few landing face up.

Shohei pushed himself up and picked up the face-up cards, staring at them for a few moments before looking out the natural window.
β€œShe’s not in danger yet and her friend…gone, but change is coming, the potential of adventure, but the destruction of something completely…I, so…they aren’t a direct threat?”
He thought aloud, staring at eh cards before looking up, shocked to see someone coming up the path. Hurriedly, he gathered up his cards and put the deck into his pockets, ducking down and beginning the semi-unstable descent into the shrine, trying to get a better view of the interior while remaining hidden. As the girl approached, there was a sudden thud from within the shrine, then the sound of footsteps scurrying around before, silence, Shohei slipped and fell and then quickly went to hide somewhere in the shrine, but wasn’t very quiet about his movements. There was a small gap where he was hidden, able to see the main area of the shrine, and he held his breath, waiting to see what would happen.

"Awww come on El I'm barely functioning here this stuff wakes me up."

Eloise sighed heavily, in her mind, remembering her training. Be aware. Be observant. Never let your guard down. Trust no one. Her royal guard and paladin would often conflict with one another looking down and seeing Lindsey slowly falling back asleep, leaning against her, and her hardened neutral face softened. She took off the the fabric over skirt with a light tug and gently placed it around Lindsey’s shoulder, turning it into a cape of sorts before gently shaking the other awake.

β€œWhy don’t you go sit down, I’ll bring you one cup of coffee, fair enough?”
she asked, turning the other towards the eating area. Eloise would have offered to cook them both food but practical skills such as cooking were not something she was taught, and as someone with an eye for perfection, cooking was a struggle, as she always overcooks whatever she touched. Soon enough, a cup of coffee would be set down infront of Lindsey along with an apple as she listened to everyone else, people asking about plans and questions as they why they were her.

Eloise did have a curiosity about the supposed ruined shrine that was supposed to be here, and decided that she wanted to go and help explore it, looking to Lindsey, wanting to stay by her side but, that would be too obvious. She can’t always be 2 paces behind Lindsey all the time, and this, this was a matter of her faith with the world tree, and quietly headed up to the deck, eyes scanning to see The captain, Jin, and Traqil, and begin to walk over, only catching a bit of the end of their current conversation.

β€œGood morning Captain, Jin, Traqil. I heard that there were going to be some people going out to investigate the ruins. If I may, I would like to join, if you do not mind,”
she said, looking mostly to the captain, paying no mind to the other two.

β€œAh! Eloise! Good morning! Having the extra hand would be helpful. And I believe you have some more knowledge now don’t you?” He said, chipper as always, knowing that her most recent position was one of the higher paladins and she nodded.

β€œYes sir, if you don’t mind, I would like to spend some time there…offer my prayers to a place that holds such importance to The World Tree,”
she said and Gramps nodded respectfully.

β€œOf course. You’re faithful as ever. Traqil just gave us a map.”

Eloise glanced at the map that was in Jin’s hand and nodded.
β€œThen I’m sure we are in good hands then,”
she said her eyes moving to the navigator and offering the smallest of smiles, respecting the talent that the navigator would have.

He would find a set in as he finished making his shake, nodding as Damien seemed to at least know a bit more than he did. He almost forgot about the clue Gramps had gotten, something about another set or ruins or something strange. While he had no idea what the end goal of this whole thing was, Azure had 100% faith in Gramps and simply went with it.

β€œRight right, thanks Damien,”
he said, gently sipping on his shake as his eyes went to mindless observer the rest. Lindsey and Eloise talked before Eloise left. Luv and Julie talking about their plans, and Zhulong and Sato sitting and enjoying food. He could only assume that Gramps and Jin were up on the deck, and Traqil likely there as well. The only person he hadn’t seen, was Sabrina, who should still be asleep but it was getting later and later. Someone was bound to wake up the little girl soon, right?

β€œOh uh, just so no one gets surprised, I’m going to be checking the underside of the ship, so I’ll be floating the ship just a bit,”
he quickly piped into the conversations happening, downing the rest of his sink and getting back up to clean it immediately.

β€œIf anyone needs anything else checked around the ship, let me know,”
he added in, knowing that with how often they are all moving and the weather, sometimes he misses odd spots here and there like a squeaky floorboard or a door won't stay shut, as Azure tends to focus on the bigger picture when it comes to the ship.

Azure at the sink would rinse out his shaker bottle, cleaning it inside and out a few times before putting it away, yet, hoping that it would hopefully dry then grab, a handful more of fruit. A few apples, the last banana that was bound to go bad the next day, and 2 oranges and went back to his previous spot, clearly not having enough food in his body yet as Azure began to devour the fruit he picked up, and likely to anyone’s guess, might go back and get more food. He was always a big eater compared to everyone else and was the source of why there was always so much food on the ship.

After letting Traqil know that he shouldn't join Jin and the Captain on the exploration of the ruins that the Captain had believed he had heard rumors about and his research led to. After agreeing to not come along, the moment he had pulled out a map before unrolling the parchment, he examined the details and listened in on what the map showed as well as what it could not pinpoint. However, the fact that Traqil would be able to direct them in the right direction of the ruins was more than enough for the duo as Jin took hold of the map, the next to show up on the deck was one of their newest members to the crew, Eloise. When she had first arrived on the ship, the Captain had told the crew that she had offered her help in search of the World Tree since she was a Paladin who had a close relationship with another recent member of the crew, Lindsey.

While Jin had not voiced his opinion nor concern on the matter at the time he was curious as to how and why a Paladin knew one of their other crewmates until an explanation from Eloise was given a while back, explaining how they knew one another from their childhood when they lived together in the lower class slums. Although the information that was given was realistically possible, Jin still had his suspicions that he held onto.

As Eloise approached the group, requesting to join on the expedition to the ruins, the Captain seemed to be welcoming to have her join so Jin remained silent before turning his attention towards Traqil with the map in hand. "I'll be sure to return it in the same condition, Traqil. I shall guard it with my life." With that said, he proceeded towards the railing of the ship before hopping off only to land on the soft soil with a heavy thud once his boots hit the ground. The Captain and Eloise soon followed, immediately after, the trio began their trek toward the ruins according to the map.

Throughout the walk toward their destination, all sorts of strange animalistic noises could be heard around the trio, although nothing appeared to seem overly dangerous that they needed to stop their progress forward. As they continued deeper into the island the foliage appeared to grow denser and thicker over time until they reached a large opening that revealed what seemed to have been the ruins of an old village long forgotten. The homes were all covered from top to bottom in nature, the village was practically abandoned and yet there were no signs of battle let alone a single corpse anywhere to be found. The only thing of interest was a shrine of sorts that was at the opposite end of the ruins that the Captain seemed most interested in.

"There. That place will give us answers. Jin, Eloise. Let's go." With the given order, Jin followed after the Captain as he approached the shrine. The walk towards the entrance of the shrine took mere minutes, as the trio reached closer and closer toward the large structure, the moment they arrived at the entrance, the last thing anyone had expected to find was another member of their crew standing there and not just any ordinary member, a child, Sabrina. Seeing this, the Captain's eyes widened in both shock and concern as he rushed up towards the small child before kneeling down in front of her. "Sabrina, my child! What're you doing here all alone?! I thought I told you not to ever leave the ship without letting me know or going with someone. It is not safe for you here, little one."

  • His eyes followed over to Elloise as she approached the growing congregation, nodding politely in acknowledgment of her presence. He hesitated on her for just a moment, unable to shake the fact that he recognized her from his life as a noble. Since the day he saw her board the ship, he had always wondered how or why she ended up here. He was sure that, like himself, she simply wished to leave the past behind... unless perhaps it was the past that brought her here. Nevertheless, he shook the feeling off and turned his attention back to Jin.

"Thank you, I know it'll be safe with you," Traqil said with a smile. He waved them off as they departed for the shrine, feeling a slight pang of jealousy that he wasn't allowed to accompany them.

Well, with his newly freed schedule, he decided he had time for coffee. He took one last deep breath before making his way way downstairs and turning towards the kitchen. He hesitated at the entrance, seeing how crowded it appeared to be. His eyes wandered around, scanning the familiar faces and attempting to calculate a route to his coffee supply. He decided to slide past Julie and Luvenia, whispering a small apology as he nearly tripped on Luvenia's feet to which she only scoffed.

"Good morning," he muttered to no one in particular, nodding to anyone who looked his way before turning his attention to his cabinet of little machines and rich coffees. He perused his growing selection, smiling at all the syrups and coffee grounds, each contributing to the cabinet's organized pattern. He selected a pack of grounds infused with lemon extract and a lavender-flavored syrup to make a lemon lavender latte, his favorite.

Before he began the process, he turned around to overview the group of coworkers behind him, seeing if he could offer anyone a cup and take an opportunity to showcase his little hobby. Julie didn't have a drink, but Traqil was pretty sure she didn't drink coffee. he could be wrong, but he didn't plan to risk inciting a rant on how terrible caffeine is for you or something of that sort.

His eyes landed on Damien, noticing their plate, but not a drink. He decided them to be a safe enough target. "Good morning, Damien," he said as he turned to the table. "Pardon the bother, but can I offer you a coffee? I have a variety of flavors, but if you'd prefer, I can get some water going for tea."

Doctor

"Let me have my guilty pleasures,"

A mildly amused look was on Julie's face noticing the little gesture she did pressing against her pocket. No doubt where she had her cigar's tucked away. Likely a more subconscious act she suspected as if in hopes of hiding them away. People tended to be quite predictable and easy to read through their subconscious gestures. You could tell if there was something they had on them they might be worried about by where their attention might be fixated most on them. A hurry to get somewhere or perhaps waiting for someone? A nice look upon their phone or watch would give it away. Someone they were worried about you finding? Their eyes would often subconsciously dart in the direction you might find them. More then others, people always tended to be far more quick to expose themselves.

Her head tilted lightly seeing Luvenia choke on her drink. Not an unexpected reaction truth be told, she could be rather loose when talking about such a topic. She did find it a little amusing still the way she reacted. Naturally her response only confirming what was rather blatantly obvious by her struggling to get her drink down after she casually mentioned about a dead body.

"I am a doctor, it's only natural such a profession would be ripe with dealing with such things. Not to mention the invaluable nature of practicing upon a body of which you have no worries of an adverse effects on them." She spoke with a light shrug. Her words had some truth, although her own insensitivity to the dead had come far before she had ever come to practice medicine. Those details weren't something she was so carefree about letting slip out in casual company. The only one who likely knew about her past would be the Captain, and only due to a run in during her past lifetime.

"I could tag along if you'd like, but I'll be honest, that sounds more like your cup of tea than mine. You'll manage fine, right? I'll probably see if Azure has anything for me to do instead, you know, catch all the little things he tends to miss."

Julie couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle in response. The doctor gave a light shrug in response. She had expected about as much when she had pitched the idea to begin with. Her medical work wasn't exactly the most 'entertaining' sort of thing to get mixed up with. As much as she would love to say she would be spending her time idle as well, she had a feeling she might need to fixate her efforts on Sabrina today. Being docked the girl was going to be very curious. She was likely best off keeping a more keen eye on her compared to when they were off in the sky. Babysitting wasn't usually a task that most were excited to do.

"Just make sure he isn't overworking himself. I'm more then certain he will have something to do... much more manual labor more likely then what I might seek help for, but it might be much more in your own wheelhouse." She spoke with a warm smile giving a light wave.

A gentle toss of the apple was made as she caught it rather swiftly. The doctor didn't take much time lifting up the tea bag as to give it a quick look over before pouring more hot water over. A light breath over top was given before she took another sip, content it's contents were just ripe to walk out and down the stairs down to the floor before before walking briefly through the sick ward before turning to her office door. A quick toss of her apple had her slipping her hand down into a secret pocket in her pants pulling the key out and sticking it in the lock with a swift twist. Her hand lifted out to catch the Apple as she carefully pushed the handle down slipping inside.

The office itself was as she had left it. A quick flip of the lights had the room illuminated revealing the desk in the center. It was rather well kept, the only thing out of place being a book she had placed upon the center left open as she had it before. Along the one wall a collection of medical books covered from one side almost all the way to the other interrupted only by a filing cabinet containing containing various files on the crew and other important material. A drug cabinet sat in the back locked up with more particularly 'dangerous' substances as well as a small refrigerator for things that required cooling to be kept safe. Other various medical tools and devices were kept locked away as well.

Julie placed her cup of tea down grabbing hold of her white medical jacket. A quick gesture had it sprawl out as she slipped her arm through carefully gliding it and the apple through. The briefest glint of steel could be seen glistening out from the inner pockets before it was slipped in place. Her other hand slipped through as she gently gave a light tug before placing the apple up to take a bite. She was now on duty as she saw it. Not that she expected too much, but accidents were prone to happen at any time. Given they had landed and scouting was almost a certainty, it meant the risk was that much higher.

The doctor had slipped her way out of the office after. The apple she held already several more bites having been taken. Her swift steps taking her down as she went back to the cabins. Sabrina had likely had plenty of sleep by now. It was best she get the girl up and keep a closer watch on her today. Not the most productive thing to do if she wanted to get any other little chores done, but if she kept at least in ear shot she could make sure she didn't get any silly ideas. As she opened the door to peek into the room, her eyes were quick to fall upon the bed. The gentle smile she had shifted quickly to a stern glare looking on.

"That little brat..."

The down was shut as Julie began to make her way out to give a quick check of the ship, though she was almost certain what had happened. She had slipped off the ship.

When Azure changed his attention to the whole of the kitchen, the musician returned to their food. Giving a hum through a bite at Azure's offer. The ship wasn't terrible compared to locations Damien had to stay back when they were just an accountant. Some clients just couldn't have proper accommodations... Some just didn't care. As long as the numbers were right, that's all they needed. Damien's comfort be damned. All in all, the ship was quite cozy. Even with the amount of ladders. A peek at the SS. Infinity's current manifest and budget, even small changes were a little below keeping the ship maintained. At least for now. All the additions to the crew, some paid, some not, their individual needs, had yet to be quite balanced out. However, that was simply the nature of the ship. So many grand dreamers in one place. So very an unsteady budget to support them. They at least had a boost recently. Damien figured there'd be a little scrutiny about the captain accepting such a vague, yet intriguing job from a noble. "A Ticket to Nowhere." Very fitting. A definitely exciting story if the man wasn't so stubborn to keep his cards to his chest... Oh well. Another bite ends that thought process.

At the mention of their name, Damien perks up. Recognizing the voice as the ship's navigator, Traqil.

"Ah, Good morning Traqil, how are the stars today?"

Now that the navigator mentioned it, Damien was starting to feel a bit parched. Turning in their wheelchair to face the fair-haired man with a easy grin. Before tilting their head and running through their options. Tea was their go-to, but coffee was still good. Granted they weren't the one making it. The musician could never get it to taste right. Nonchalantly waving their hand at the man. Giving him another easy grin, leaning against the back of their wheelchair.

"Hhhmm... Why don't you surprise me?"

Lindsey opened her eyes as she felt herself get gently shaken awake. When she did she noticed something was around her shoulders. She really process it much though as her attention went Eloise when she spoke.

"β€œWhy don’t you go sit down, I’ll bring you one cup of coffee, fair enough?”"

Lindsey nodded and smiled her. "Hehe sounds fair." Lindsey sat down and did everything she could not to nod off. Once the coffee was sat infront of her she started to reach for it but stopped when she noticed the apple. She debated on what to have first and ultimately decided to drink the coffee first. Lindsey picked up the coffee and took a sip and then downed the whole thing in one go. Lindsey sat back in her chair waiting for the coffee to kick in. It took about 5 mins before she stood up and yelled out. "Haha ALRIGHT! YES! Finally! Now I fill energized!" She looked around and noticed Eloise was gone. "Huh wait when did she leave?" Lindsey then shrugged and her grabbed her apple and headed out of the kitchen with the cloak still around her shoulders.

Once she made it to her room she tossed the cloak on the bed and got dressed and washed. Once she was done she checked her hair in the mirror which seemed fine so she didn't mess with it. After that she then sat on her bed and fell back and looked up at the ceiling. This morning with Elosie had sparked some thoughts in her head she usually tended to avoid. "I always seem to be the one getting taken care of......" She mumbled to herself. Lindsey didn't really like going into deep thought or thinking about her feelings or emotions about things. Also the voices her head would sometimes start talking. "What's wrong? Feeling like a burden?" Lindsey sat up annoyed. "Shut up! I can take care of myself." "Oh yeah then why do you always seemed to be the one getting take care of?" It was true from the time she was sick up to now she was always being taken care of. She had hope that would change but even now it's always someone whether it be gramps or Eloise especially Eloise. She was excited when Eloise joined the ship she could show her just how well she was doing on her own but it went straight back to old dynamics though to be fair that just kind of how Eloise was but still........ Lindsey shook her head. "Bleh I don't like think like this.....maybe I can go blow things up on the island." "Why not start a fire that's always fun?" Lindsey ignored the voices and got up and walked out her of her room.

"You know forget about blowing things up maybe I'll go see if I can find any cool stuff on the island." Just then she noticed Julie and the kitty by Sabrina's room. She smirked when she realize she hadn't been noticed yet. "Heh" Lindsey forgetting her original thought to go explore the island now had a new goal, mess with the kitty. Lindsey quietly got behind the two and plucked the hat off of Baron's head and place it on hers. "Well what do you think? Does it suite me?" She said with pose.

cc6.pngHoneyrose nodded accepting the answer she was given to her question. She gave Serina a small smile when she patted her on the shoulder. She didn't seem so bad. Maybe....Before she could finish that thought Red spoke up.

"We still need to ask some questions though, This crash was no doubt a rough one, but I find it hard you're the only survivor. It would also be silly to sink this ship that just fell out of the sky for no reason, So, what happened? What brought this ship down? What killed its crew? Because some of the bodies have wounds that indicate they were dead before the crash. How are you the only breathing soul left? What-"

Honeyrose eyes widen at the questions being thrown her way but luckily Serina stopped him before he could go any further. Serina then turned to Honeyrose basically telling her they did need to know what happen as that was why they were at here. Honeyrose nodded and thought about the questions Red asked. she finally let go of her dress. "Well....This ship came to my island. We're not sure how it manage to considering there is suppose to be a barrier around it but it did. They didn't seem like a threat at first but when they realized....." Honeyrose went silent when she realized the exact same thing could happen if she told them what she was. "Anyway they took me and a few others on my island then a ship attacked theirs and people were killed during the attack and when ship fell. As for me well...." She again hesitated if she was to explain that they would know what she was. "Anyway I managed to survive and my friend didn't....." Honeyrose smiled at them innocently hoping they wouldn't ask anymore questions. This was really all they needed to know. She really wasn't sure just how trustworthy they were. "So um yeah that's what happened.....and now I'm stranded here." She thought about bringing up Shohei but then decided against.

Serina gave a mental fist pump of victory as Honeyrose began to explain, shooting Red a side glanced smirk before looking back to Honeyrose. Red only rolled his eyes and crossed his arms as both he and his partner listened quietly to Honeyrose's tale, his finger gently tapping against his arm as he took in the information. As she seemed to pause in her explanation, hesitation clear in her expression, Red narrowed his eyes before glancing at Serina who kept her eyes locked on Honeyrose, but held up her hand slowly, signaling for him to hold off on more questions. He was unhappy about it but knew Serina was right. If he started poking and prodding for answers now, they'd lose her cooperation. An itch on the back of Red's neck began to rise, an old instinct to force answers out of those he was questioning beginning to rear its ugly face. The feeling made his shoulders tense, his grip on his arms tightening just for a moment before he rolled his right shoulder, forcing the thought out of his head. There were times and places for such things, but not here. The gaps in this girl's story though irritated Red, his distrust in the grass-haired woman growing by the second. Not only does she keep the reason as to why she was kidnapped by these bounty hunters, but she hides the reason she survived, indicating that there was possibly more to her innocent appearance. He's come across more than enough types like that, proving to be the nasties of predators that hide behind pretty smiles and doe-like personalities. As Honeyrose finished her story, Red only kept his hard look directed at her, clearly unhappy about her explanation, but biting his tongue as Serina gave him another glance, shaking her head silently as she noticed the look on his face.

A long sigh escaped Serina as she rubbed the back of her head, also not too satisfied with Honeyrose's story, but taking what she could get. Red's unhappy aura though was hard not to feel, knowing he'd be in a mood for a bit after this. Looking back to Honeyrose she gave a forced smile, trying to salvage what positive moods she could. "Well, certainly sounds like you've had a rough go of it," she said before looking at the dead friend of hers. "Sorry bout your friend too. Never easy losing one," she said, her smile falling just for a moment before returning and giving her a nod. "But thank you for being truthful with us," Red let out a scoff as he rolled his eyes.

"Please," he muttered with a sour look on his face before looking away as Serina gave him a frown.

"Obviously, there are some things you'd rather keep to yourself for now," she started, giving Red a frown for a few more seconds before looking back to Honeyrose with a softer gaze. "But we got the general gist of it, enough to give a solid report to the cap at least," she stated before nodding in the direction the two of them came from. "How bout we bring you back to our ship, have our doc look you over, get some grub, and see if the cap will help? The old man is the helpful type," she chuckled Red took a step forward, his hand atop his sheathed sword pommel, his glare directed towards Serina.

"Excuse me? Have you lost your mind? We can't just bring her back, not knowing what she is capable of or what her intentions are," Red spoke up, his frown deepening as Serina turned on her heeled boots and glared back up at him, her hands on her hips as she cocked her head to the side.

"Oh please Red, will you just stop being so paranoid? The girl is obviously no threat to us, and I'm sure we'd be enough to handle it if she was," Serina replied, clearly not willing to budge against Red's objections. "Besides, you know the captain would want us to help her. Might even give us a lil treat if we were to heroically bring back a stranded maiden from a downed ship," she stated with a sharp smirk, her eyes still locked with Red's as he clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"Though I respect our captain greatly, his obsession with helping any poor soul we come across is a dangerous one. I won't allow it!" Serina rolled her eyes at that, letting out an amused huff.

"Please, you admire him for that. Just too edgy to admit," she stated before poking his chest with a gloved finger. "Besides, I'm sure you want to get back to the ship as soon as I do, especially with that outfit of yours," she said, a slow smile spreading across her face as she saw Red flinch slightly as he looked down at his attire.

"P-pardon me? What on earth do you mean by that?" he questioned, his gloved hands instinctively smoothing out any wrinkles or imperfections of his clothing.

"Come on Red, not only did you not get your morning coffee, but you wore the same thing you did yesterday," she pointed out, making Red purse his lips as he looked down at his coat, snapping his gaze back to her when she began to fan the front of her face. "Not only do you smell of yesterday, but you didn't even manage to get those kinks out of your hair. What a mess," she mocked, looking away to hide her smile as Red's face began to grow a slight, well, red from anger as he began to run his fingers through his long red hair.

"H-how dare you! I smell fine, and my hair is fine too!" he defended himself before coming to a pause, realizing what Serina was doing. A deep frown came to his face before he pinched the bridge of his nose. "I hate it when you do this," he muttered, having fallen into Serina's trap once again. Serina along with a few others knows of Red's, "obsession", with keeping his appearance near perfect, if not completely. Serina snorted a laugh before giving a light punch to his arm.

"Just relax alright? If anything happens I'll take the fall," she promised before her smile fell slightly, her gaze softening before glancing at Honeyrose. "Besides, it's the right thing to do, and you know it," she stated, her voice now void of any humor and more serious. Red looked at her for a moment before looking back to Honeyrose, his harsh gaze soon softening as well before letting out a low sigh.

"Damn you," he muttered Serina looking down at her before looking to Honeyrose. "We will offer aid back on our ship, but I will warn you once and only once if you do return with us. Do not do anything foolish," she stated before stumbling a step forward as Serina slapped his back a few times.

"There ya go!" she laughed before looking to Honeyrose with a grin. "So, how bout Honeyrose, wanna come back and meet the crew?"
