you're telling me a shrimp fried this rice?
Another day another ghost to go deal with. To them, it was just another normal afternoon. The location that they were informed of wasn't that far off, about half an hour. Some secluded farmhouse on a nice piece of land surrounded by forest with its own small pond. They had received the message about just only yesterday and after gathering some extra information, their stuff was packed and they were ready to go. Ashley sat in the driver's seat, one hand on the steering wheel and the other leaning against the door. There was faint music coming from the car's radio which would once in a while be interrupted by static the further they drove away from civilization.
Ash would have never really expected for him and Olivia to have been able to have gotten so far with their whole ghost hunting gig. More so, he was surprised people trusted them seeing that they were both fairly young but he wasn't about to complain. He enjoyed what he did and it made it all the better being able to do it with her as well. The whole ghost hunting thing was pretty simple, anyway. At some point, it all became second-nature and to them, dealing with spirits just became the norm'. Practically all the jobs they did were simple. It was all usually just some lost souls, people who had passed who needed help moving on and things always went off without a hitch. The worst having happened to them were flashlights going out and equipment being damaged but besides that, no ghosts were ever overly aggressive or angry at them and demons were something they never came across. Of course, with how all their jobs going off without a hitch, one would think the one they were heading to would be the same.
With one hand on top of the steering wheel and one leaning against the door, he focused on getting them to their destination, switching positions to having both hands on the wheel as they began to enter the area of where the building was. Taking a turn down a dirt road surrounded by trees, he carefully made their way through and their destination would soon come into sight. Ash carefully maneuvered the vehicle down the dirt road that led to the farmhouse. It was clearly old but stood firm. Outside nearby it another car was parked which Ashley could only conclude was owned by those who lived at the house, the ones who had contacted them. He would park the vehicle close by to the other car that was there and after taking the key out of the ignition he turned to, Olivia. "Alright, this is it. Should go tell the owners we're here."
