Guidelines for Swift Character Approval!
Before you proceed and fill out this character sheet, there are some things that need to be addressed.​
Charged Powers are not set in reality. This does not mean your character's ability is unrestricted...
Charged Powers are energy that has effected the human genome with multidimensional genetic matter in a way that we cannot explain. Giving the user the ability to perform feats that no ordinary human can do. While impressive, these feats have limitations.​
-Charged abilities cannot manipulate reality on a grand scale, nor can they manipulate fundamental aspects of reality. Space-Time, Time, Reality Warping (or forms of it: Mentifery), or complete physics manipulation are not allowed.​
-Charged Powers cannot directly manipulate the minds of sapient beings (e.g. other humans). Mind Manipulation, Mind Control are banned. Powers that are allowed are types of Emotional Inducement, Suggestion, or Telepathy (speaking/mental channel opening only).​
-Charged Powers cannot predict the future with 100% accuracy. (Precognition is a no, but Accelerated Probability is alright with limits.)​
-Charged Powers don't change you into creatures of pure myth. (I.E a demon or Angel)​
-Charged Powers are not the same as magic, despite both being unexplainable.​
-Charged Powers cannot manipulate other Charged Powers. (Power mimicry, nullification, amplification, etc)​
-Charged Powers always have concrete limits. Having a Charged Power does not guarantee domain influence over all respective phenomena (absolute, omni, or galactic scale anything).​
-Charged Powers do not require conscious thought to work. Anything can be used to use them, ranging from and gestures to simple instinct.​
-Charged Powers can extend life spans up to 300 years​
Backstories should make sense.
-Your character may have known that they would be getting powers at some point, because one or both parents had them. Exceptions apply. Some parents wouldn't talk about it.​
-While laws on Charged Powers are limited, using them on someone without reason is like assaulting them.​
-Don't say your character destroyed their entire school or something. Just...don't.​
-Powers are usually had all life, but the full extent of the power is unlocked at age 14 on average. The youngest of a power maturing being recorded is 10 years old. Powers often mature peacefully (While asleep) or sometimes in stressful situations.​
-Super tragic is sometimes frowned upon. However, if done right, it can be good. You can include tragedy in your character's backstory. But if you're here to make the whole RP your character's sob story, do not. Use it to explain who they are today rather than make the entire character a blob of tragedy.​
-"Superheroes" in the traditional sense don't really exist in this city. Nobody runs around wearing tights and beating people up.​
-"Supervillains" do exist, however, and the slang term for them to​
Skills
-Skills are things that your characters can do even without their powers.​
-Martial arts. Don't write down 50 styles of martial arts that overlap and make no sense together. Characters can be...​

-Write as much or as little as you think I need to get a feel for your character.​

-I may ask for revisions, but I'll try to preserve the original character as much as possible so you can still enjoy playing as them. The exceptions are: the character directly violates rules, interferes with the lore, or just won't fit the setting.​
-Duplicate powers are allowed! However ask someone if you want a very similar power to theirs.​

It can be say easily that Paris has a low fighting spirit. Easily giving up when things started to get difficult, and becomes indecisive when he is struggling. He is conscious over his own limit, and when he feels the limit is being approached, he will often stop struggling. Some may call him overly cautious; Someone who doesn't want to try something he is not completely sure of. Others call him a quitter. Those are not completely wrong. Instead of putting one last desperate effort, Paris gives up.

Granted, his low spirit does not mean he has none. His determination and alertness when he is willing to fight and gives it his all is something given by his cautious and ruthless nature. To perform risky manoever if he feels certain it will increase the chance of his success. His attitude toward struggle also makes him welcome help from others with open hand. Acquaintances that could limit the risk of an action, or help to cover for his weakness. No one is perfect, and a help from someone with different strength and weakness from yourself is something valuable.

Backstory:
Paris spent most of his life in a research facility. His power was discovered when he was as young as five, when he caught a cold and infect the whole neighbourhood with severe cold as well. His parents left him in front of a research facility with a note. They never tried to contact him again afterward. The facility treated him well; It was a facility owned by a private medicine company, and the pathogen inside his body gave them valuable research material. Triage, the leading researcher that was responsible for Paris, was also the one Paris met the most. He took the initiative to tutor him in reading, writing, and general knowledge a child was expected to know.

As Paris grew up, he began to show interest in his own power. He asked for books about medicine and biology, and started to learn about different bacteria and virus. He was eleven at the time; At around the same age, his power started to mature and he became able to control the activity of the pathogen inside his body to an extent. He was used to live in the facility, with his interaction limited to the researchers and observers as they didn't restrict his activity too much. His request for books and occasional games was granted. He had a good relationship with most of them, and as their conversation consist mostly of his own pathogen, his knowledge increases.

It was when he was fifteen his peaceful life was disrupted. He didn't know the detail, but an internal conflict occured in the research facility. Most of the researchers there was fired, including Triage. Not long after, he was transferred to TEST. Unlike in the research facility, his activity was more restricted. His daily life was more monotonous, with less entertainment. His conversation was more limited. It was dull. He was bored.

Paris is able to suppress the pathogen from leaving his body, however, weaker bacteria such as those that cause influenza lingers on his repiratory system and unable to be controlled. He is also able to release the pathogen at will through his skin pores, respiratory system, and bodily fluid.
Limitations:
  • Lethality: Bacteria that normally couldn't cause death will not turn lethal upon cultivation.
  • Control: Paris is unable to control the pathogen upon leaving his body.

  • Drugs and medicine are capable of affecting Paris, even though the pathogen inside him is more resistant toward them.

She never speaks openly, however Robin seems to possess a telepathic connection with her. According to him, her name is Samantha. During initial observations, Robin has shown the capability to summon her with verbal commands or by simple desire. Despite this ability, she is fully capable of appearing without request and behaves autonomously, however she displays infallible obedience to Robin. She requires no sustenance or sleep, but will indulge an appetite. Due to her being mute (either by design or lack of desire) we cannot interview her and must question Robin instead. This manifests itself in primarily creating gusts of wind to knock targets off their feet, to quickly push himself forward, and limited levitation of himself and small objects.   • Too Selfless – Robin can bury himself in his hopeful promises, feeling others’ problems as his own and striving hard to meet his word. If he isn't careful, he can spread himself too thin, and be left unable to help anyone.
  • Too Sensitive – While receptive to criticism, seeing it as a tool for personal betterment, it’s easy for Robin to take it a little too much to heart. After looking over your CS, I have decided to reject the character at it's core concept due to the nature of it's ability not fitting with the theme. If it was a clone of a 14 year old boy it would be a fine but a 24 year old women is too much. The utility of the ability is way too much in general to make it rise into Risk Level II and generally the abilities between the two make them not suited for this role play.

Big people, big organizations, big wrongs, she likes to break them down in the most humiliating way possible. This makes her tiny self very imposing as the size of the chip on her shoulder dwarfs the woman herself. Despite her dubious morals, she does have a strict code. She's honest and trustworthy, utterly loyal when she says and very detached from emotional reactions. She may talk big and react big but she doesn't hold grudges or act in pride or vanity. She runs a tight game and expects the same from those around her. After all, rule one is don't get caught and watch the other's backs. To others though, Iride is all swagger, she likes looking rich and looking good. Iride had, other ideas. Raised mostly by her elder siblings, her eldest brother and sister mostly, Iride was playing lookout for deals before she could do multiplication. While respecting their mother's wishes to keep the child out of the family business, the older Genose siblings learned that their tiny sister had quick fingers and could run fast. She was adept at theft, stealing credit cards, cash, information and no one suspected the pre-teen. It got harder to keep her out of the business when her powers emerged. She got quite good at entering places she shouldn't be and taking things that were in places no one else could open. At the same time, the crime families were being cracked down on and Cara, wanting her youngest to not be involved, sent her to Las Vegas to be out of the way. Iride stayed with a affiliate of the family, and her honorary uncle Matteo. The boisterous very Italian professional thief and the tiny, fearless, girl with super powers got along like a house on fire and when a casino owned by a rival group decided to try to expand its territory, Matteo decided that they needed to be shown who was boss, and he had a plan to do it.
One heist later and Iride was Rainbow, a paid member of Matteo's crew. Instead of high-school she learned the ins and out of the business of heists, shooting, garrotes, corporate sabotage. They went on a world tour and robbed banks, companies, crime bosses and near every dollar they could get their hands on. Back home though, things went sour. After the death of his childless brother, Luciano was set to become the next don, but a cousin decided he didn't want any Irish loving traitor in charge and began a messy takeover, executing both of Iride's parents in the street. Iride was in Tokyo but after a desperate call from her sister she ran home to New York.
What followed was a messy, brutal, bloody civil war of the Mafia. Iride had never been more active, running errands and stealing every dollar she could from her cousins. Limitations: One opening of a portal must be within 10 meters of Iride at all times while the other has a range of around 10 kilometers. however the portals have what Iride calls the radius rule. Basically Iride can create a portal with a maximum radius of 5 meters but the portal would be essentialy in one end out the other. so mathematically the radius rule is that her power has a maximum 10 meter with a range inverse of that ergo 10 meter portal, 0km range. 1 meter portal, 9 km range. Additionally each other portal also takes from the maximum diameter eg she could susteain two 5km 5m portals simultaneously or 10 1m 1km portals. Additionally, the longer the range the more thought and focus it takes to open and maintain. All of the above assumes maximum energy and full fous, things done in heat or even after a low energy day can be much weaker.
Weaknesses: Very limited and unsubtle, cannot open portals to places she hasn't seen. Portals vanish if she loses conscious. Portals cannot be closed if anything physical is going through them. No filter on what can move through portals. Making and sustaining portals takes energy, the above radius rule (the 10/10) portal could be compared to walking that distance. Well-developed powers of concentration. Well-organized and hard working, she works steadily towards identified goals. She can usually accomplish any task once they have set her mind to it. She wants nothing to do with "drama" among the others. She is seen as an almost 'peacekeeper' in the sense that she deals with problems head-on and quickly ends them. Most taking her tough love approach a very personal to the point they feel as if she has a personal vendetta against them.

Charlie has a very tell it as it is personality. Never one to sugar coat anything, thinking it's better to just put it all out there than to lead someone on. That's not to say she'll never get a joke, though she not really the joking type. Although she is a lover of sarcasm, often using it a bit too much. If one ever finds themselves in an argument with her, grab a chair because she can argue into the next day if that's how long she needs to pound into ones head that she is right and they are wrong.

A side most do not get to see too often is that Charlie is a bit of a control freak. She cannot stand not knowing, and something that is out of her control can and will drive her crazy. She can become very meticulous with her work, often driving those around her crazy.

The where what some described as the 'perfect' family, at least that's what Charlie's parents lead everyone to believe.

Charlie's parents never really paid much mind to her. Not that Charlie needed their attention, she was very self-sufficient. By middle school, Charlie had found out about her powers. It was simply an accident, as things often were. Charlie held a longing to look like her classmate Clair Bishop. She must of wished hard for this because when coming home Charlie caught a reflection of herself with long blond hair. Confused she went to look closer, finding herself staring back at Claire. Of course, this spooked her. Running home Charlie locked herself in her room, staring at her reflection for a good ten minutes before she reverted back to her original self.

Upon learning of her new power Charlie began to plot. It started off little, such as impersonating her mother in stores to use her credit card. Then Charlie began impersonating others, ultimately being guilty of a bizarre form of identity fraud. To Charlie, she seemed invincible, as believing no one had found out her secret until one day she forgot to lock the door to her bedroom, and her mother accidentally walking in when she was morphing back into herself. Thus she found herself at the front doors of TEST at the rip ole age of 16.

Abilities: Shapeshifting; Charlie can shift the atoms of her body to duplicate any humanoid of either sex. She can precisely duplicate another person’s retina pattern, finger, palm and skin-pore patterns, and vocal cords. She can increase her volume, but not her mass.
Mastery of Ability: While Charlie can successfully change into anyone she can not hold her shape for an extended amount of time. The longest she has been able to hold her form is up to an hour and thirty minutes and even that was pushing her.
Limitations: While she can shift into any humanoid she can't do it at random. Any person she shifts into has to be someone she has seen before and can not make up a person. When she shifts her body stays the same mass throughout so even though she shift to be a 200 lbs man she is still only 122 lbs. THere is also an issue with her clothes. Whatever she is wearing when she shifts is the clothes she'll be wearing until she physically changes clothing.
Weaknesses: Losing consciousness means reverting back to her original self.

Skills/Talents: Charlie is extremely flexible and she can tie a cherry stem with her tongue, a talent she will always be eager to show.

Mastery of Ability: While Charlie can successfully change into anyone she can not hold her shape for an extended amount of time. The longest she has been able to hold her form is up to an hour and thirty minutes and even that was pushing her.
Limitations: While she can shift into any humanoid she can't do it at random. Any person she shifts into has to be someone she has seen before and can not make up a person. When TEST opened 25 years ago, her father participated to have money for their son. However, as time drew on their father eventually disappeared after TEST had closed down. Only able to witness his newborn daughters birth before leaving. Her brother, Sam, tried to make the most of things as he told her how unique her powers were. He was quite a trouble maker so he and her would go on fun playful adventurers until he started to look into their father's disappearance. Then he left too. Several years went by until information had been delivered that Sam had died, being driven into insanity from trying to figure out where their father went. Heartbroken and scared, Aubrey wondered the streets until she found a group who told her that Sam was still alive. He was locked up somewhere, possibly by ex-TEST employees. But the only way to get him was if Aubrey helped them. The group was known as Carnival with the interesting people they recruited. They weren't known everywhere, but they helped to sabotage programs and people who took advantage of others. With Aubrey's powers they can silence alarms, make distractions, get in and out without a sound. So she joined, in order to eventually find her brother. She hopes to convince Carnival to infiltrate TEST, but it seems no one wants to tussle with the big boys.

Prepared - Over the years Gregory has built a large network of contacts. Regular people on both sides of the law that owe him favors or can help him for a price.
Paranoid - Trust does not come easy to Discord. Test has eyes everywhere and he must always be ready. He has no friends and no confidants. Only associates.
Phobia - Due to his father's and his own experiences with the TEST program Gregory has developed Cleithrophobia a fear of being trapped. He will do anything and everything to avoid capture or imprisonment.

Backstory: Gregory Whitehall was born in the old TEST facility. He spent the first nine years of his life in a lab with his father, a charged who didn't require sleep. He doesn't remember much about his time there except for the blank white walls. Day after day all he saw where the blank walls. Then one day they were ushered out of the white rooms and corridors. Out to freedom. The TEST facility was shutting down. At the time Gregory didn't understand why, he was just glad to be away from those empty rooms. He and his father were dropped into the real world with nothing. Fortunately Gregory's father was able to use his power to work multiple jobs and get Gregory through high school and eventually with a lot of tutoring, Medical School. Gregory became a surgeon one of Lithiums best. It helped that he was able to clamp wounds and operate surgical equipment all with telekinesis though he kept that rather quite and let people think he was just skilled. He had enough money to give his father a nice home and when his health deteriorated a full staff of carers. It was on one of his many visits with his father that they heard the news. TEST was back. His father was always a strong man. When he worked all hours of the day, or when gave his all for Gregory, even when his own body turned against him and his organs began to fail he never showed weakness. He remained a strong and steady figure. But when he saw that TEST was back, It broke him. Gregory had never seen his father cry before. His trauma flew from him in waves and Gregory sat with him telepathically feeling his pain and sorrow. Fear. Paranoia. Stress. Emptiness. Loneliness. Suffering. Gregory felt it all. By the time it was all over Gregory was a little broken too. Gregory's father passed away two weeks later. All his fight left him. After all these years TEST had killed him. And he would end them because of it. After all He was a surgeon, its his job to cut out tumors.

Mastery of Ability: Dr. Discord has great control of his telekinetic abilities allowing him to perform difficult tasks such as picking locks and ,with great focus, even perform surgery. His Telepathic abilities however are quite different. He has little control over them and has so far been unable to turn it off. He constantly hears snippets of thoughts from every one around him in a low buzz. If he wishes to try communicate with one mind it requires his complete attention even to send a basic message.
Limitations: While discord can move many objects at once the weight of the object greatly affects his ability to move it. Objects lighter than 100kg can be moved easily and with some speed. Objects between 100kg - 500kg can be moved but the movement is slower. Objects between 500kg-900kg can be stopped or slowed but are almost impossible to move. Anything heavier would cause Dr. Discord to be crushed under the Psychic pressure. Telepathic links are unstable to begin with and any interruption to Gregory's focus would shatter a link.
Weaknesses: Psychic Noise: When a human comes under threat its brain creates a level of psychic noise. When mutiple people are under threat the noise becomes louder. The louder the noise the more dangerous it is to Gregory. In extreme cases Gregory would have to focus all his power on shielding himself or be rendered unconscious.

The clones are blue tinged humanoid figures, they aren't sentient and at the control of Frederick. Each clone seems to be made out of solid Nitrogen but without its extremely cold temperatures.

Ability Mastery He seems to be able to control his clones with amazing dexterity, though the more he makes he requires more concentration requiring him to stand still and focus. The integrity of his clones are apparently dependant on the amount he makes, he can make 8 clones with the toughness of a human, any further from that they will begin to lose their integrity instrumentally to the point where at 20 they can be broken by a strong gust.

Charlie is quirky. She is unpredictable and independent. She doesn't take kindly to people telling her what to do. Extremely thorough, responsible, and dependable. There is no room for failure. Well-developed powers of concentration. Well-organized and hard working, she works steadily towards identified goals. She can usually accomplish any task once they have set her mind to it. She wants nothing to do with "drama" among the others. She is seen as an almost 'peacekeeper' in the sense that she deals with problems head-on and quickly ends them. Most taking her tough love approach a very personal to the point they feel as if she has a personal vendetta against them.

Charlie has a very tell it as it is personality. Never one to sugar coat anything, thinking it's better to just put it all out there than to lead someone on. That's not to say she'll never get a joke, though she not really the joking type. Although she is a lover of sarcasm, often using it a bit too much. If one ever finds themselves in an argument with her, grab a chair because she can argue into the next day if that's how long she needs to pound into ones head that she is right and they are wrong.

A side most do not get to see too often is that Charlie is a bit of a control freak. She cannot stand not knowing, and something that is out of her control can and will drive her crazy. She can become very meticulous with her work, often driving those around her crazy.


Backstory:
Charlie had a typical upbringing, living in the suburbs of Virginia. Her father and mother were high school sweethearts, marrying right after high school and having Charlie a year later. From what Charlie could tell, they were happy. Having mandatory family outings every weekend. Her dad telling his usual jokes and her mother doing something silly to make sure Elyse would laugh as well, no matter how bad the joke was. The where what some described as the 'perfect' family, at least that's what Charlie's parents lead everyone to believe.

Charlie's parents never really paid much mind to her. Not that Charlie needed their attention, she was very self-sufficient. By middle school, Charlie had found out about her powers. It was simply an accident, as things often were. Charlie held a longing to look like her classmate Clair Bishop. She must of wished hard for this because when coming home Charlie caught a reflection of herself with long blond hair. Confused she went to look closer, finding herself staring back at Claire. Of course, this spooked her. Running home Charlie locked herself in her room, staring at her reflection for a good ten minutes before she reverted back to her original self.

Upon learning of her new power Charlie began to plot. It started off little, such as impersonating her mother in stores to use her credit card. Then Charlie began impersonating others, ultimately being guilty of a bizarre form of identity fraud. To Charlie, she seemed invincible, as believing no one had found out her secret until one day she forgot to lock the door to her bedroom, and her mother accidentally walking in when she was morphing back into herself. Thus she found herself at the front doors of TEST at the rip ole age of 16.

Abilities: Shapeshifting; Charlie can shift the atoms of her body to duplicate any humanoid of either sex. She can precisely duplicate another person’s retina pattern, finger, palm and skin-pore patterns, and vocal cords. She can increase her volume, but not her mass.
Mastery of Ability: While Charlie can successfully change into anyone she can not hold her shape for an extended amount of time. The longest she has been able to hold her form is up to an hour and thirty minutes and even that was pushing her.
Limitations: While she can shift into any humanoid she can't do it at random. Any person she shifts into has to be someone she has seen before and can not make up a person. When she shifts her body stays the same mass throughout so even though she shift to be a 200 lbs man she is still only 122 lbs. THere is also an issue with her clothes. Whatever she is wearing when she shifts is the clothes she'll be wearing until she physically changes clothing.
Weaknesses: Losing consciousness means reverting back to her original self.

Skills/Talents: Charlie is extremely flexible and she can tie a cherry stem with her tongue, a talent she will always be eager to show.

Sofia comes from a poor single parent household. It was just her and her mother, she would go to school and try to stay out of trouble while her mother worked third shift at the factory jobs. Lithium wasn’t a bad city, sure the charged people scared her mother and she always warned Sofia to stay as far away from them as possible but she hardly seen any or if she did she passed them by as if they were any other person.

Life was simple because Sofia didn’t questions. She didn’t ask her mother why they stayed in a city that scared her mother, or why she’s never met any of her family members. Sofia could always feel a lingering sadness on her mother, this weary for the world, even though she wasn’t even that old. Though if she ever said anything, her mother just shushed.

She’d always been a perceived child. She knew when it had been a very bad day for her mother and that she needed to rub her feet, or when the teacher was going to give out a pop quiz. She even knew sometimes when people were pregnant, and it was just a faint and soft feeling. Like a bird on your shoulder.

About a few months after she turned 14 she began having these headaches that just never went away. They just especially worse around people, it was like her head was filling with noise and she couldn’t turn the volume down. Soon it felt like her skin was on fire if she went to church with her mom. It would calm down if she was home alone, though the nosie was still there, like a soft murmur that she could hardly understand.

In the middle of the night she would find her mother praying over her. That’s when she began noticing that the words coming out of her mother’s lips was delayed with the nosies coming from the room. This is how she began realizing that she was hearing people’s minds. The problem was, minds weren’t at all like mind reading was in the movies. It wasn’t a constant narratortion over their lives or a linear thought process.

So she finally sat her mother down and tried to talk about her father. Because Sofia knew about the charged people and how they came to be…. Well charged. Her mother didn’t want to speak about, she didn’t want to say anything about it, even her mind seemed to dance over pictures and music not giving her any sense of who her father could be. She just wanted to know if he was in the city, if maybe she could meet him, try to figure out her powers.

Sofia grabbed her mother’s hands, in an effort to plead with her to tell her anything. But suddenly she felt herself disappear, as though she were falling and she could see flashes of her childhood but now from her mother’s eyes, working at the factory where she’d never been. And then she saw her mother, bright lights and ballons up and everything, all dressed, it was a party of sort dancing with someone but in her memories his face was blurry. She was touching his hair and chest whispering in his ear. She was slurring her speech. Then her mother pulled away.

Sofia looked at her. “It was a one night stand, you don’t even know what he looked like.” She swallowed her throat dry “That’s why we stayed, because you thought he’d find you”

The next day Sofia volunteered for the TEST program with her mother’s permission and began learning more or less how to control herself and her powers and while her powers had a more adverse affect on her, it wasn't something they hadn't seen before and she was released within the year. She felt as though it were too late to get back into school and felt lost to the world, and got a job translating and calling phones from home even getting her own apartment by she was 17. Her mother went to back to El Salvador by the time she was 18.

Mastery of Ability: Her radius of reading surface thoughts is about half a mile, which is why it can become overwhelming. Being in crowded areas, like cities tend to be, will exhaust her within an hour, 30 minutes if she’s actually focusing on trying to get information. If she’s holding hands with someone, searching their minds for information, takes time. Depending on the person it can be easy as grabbing keys off the counter of searching through a messy, disorganized mailroom.

Limitations: She can’t be inside someone’s head for too long, she’s found that she’ll began to lose herself inside their heads if she’s in their too long or comes back with too short of breaks. She begins acting paranoid, and while it hasn’t happened yet, she believes she can break her mind if she is inside someone mind for too long. Her regular mind reading powers has made her into a hermit because of how overwhelming it is on her mind.

Weaknesses: Electric shock- if Sofia’s in your head and you can find your taser, then taser her, she’ll be thrown right out of your head. There’s also an metal and electric crown that can be put around her head to stop her from reading any thoughts, or if you wear, it would stop her from reading your thoughts.

Skills/Talents: Programming, she’d been reading and playing with code since she was in middle and had wanted to become a computer software programmer when she got a big girl job.

Methodical - Dr. Discord is single minded in his goals. He does one task, He does it well, and then he moves to the next
Prepared - Over the years Gregory has built a large network of contacts. Regular people on both sides of the law that owe him favors or can help him for a price.
Paranoid - Trust does not come easy to Discord. Test has eyes everywhere and he must always be ready. He has no friends and no confidants. Only associates.
Phobia - Due to his father's and his own experiences with the TEST program Gregory has developed Cleithrophobia a fear of being trapped. He will do anything and everything to avoid capture or imprisonment.

Backstory: Gregory Whitehall was born in the old TEST facility. He spent the first nine years of his life in a lab with his father, a charged who didn't require sleep. He doesn't remember much about his time there except for the blank white walls. Day after day all he saw where the blank walls. Then one day they were ushered out of the white rooms and corridors. Out to freedom. The TEST facility was shutting down. At the time Gregory didn't understand why, he was just glad to be away from those empty rooms. He and his father were dropped into the real world with nothing. Fortunately Gregory's father was able to use his power to work multiple jobs and get Gregory through high school and eventually with a lot of tutoring, Medical School. Gregory became a surgeon one of Lithiums best. It helped that he was able to clamp wounds and operate surgical equipment all with telekinesis though he kept that rather quite and let people think he was just skilled. He had enough money to give his father a nice home and when his health deteriorated a full staff of carers. It was on one of his many visits with his father that they heard the news. TEST was back. His father was always a strong man. When he worked all hours of the day, or when gave his all for Gregory, even when his own body turned against him and his organs began to fail he never showed weakness. He remained a strong and steady figure. But when he saw that TEST was back, It broke him. Gregory had never seen his father cry before. His trauma flew from him in waves and Gregory sat with him telepathically feeling his pain and sorrow. Fear. Paranoia. Stress. Emptiness. Loneliness. Suffering. Gregory felt it all. By the time it was all over Gregory was a little broken too. Gregory's father passed away two weeks later. All his fight left him. After all these years TEST had killed him. And he would end them because of it. After all He was a surgeon, its his job to cut out tumors.

Mastery of Ability: Dr. Discord has great control of his telekinetic abilities allowing him to perform difficult tasks such as picking locks and ,with great focus, even perform surgery. His Telepathic abilities however are quite different. He has little control over them and has so far been unable to turn it off. He constantly hears snippets of thoughts from every one around him in a low buzz. If he wishes to try communicate with one mind it requires his complete attention even to send a basic message.
Limitations: While discord can move many objects at once the weight of the object greatly affects his ability to move it. Small items such as knives can be manipulated easily. Something the size of a human he could slowly move one or two. Anything the size or weight of a car he could hold in place for a few seconds at most but could not move it. Anything heavier would cause Dr. Discord to be crushed under the Psychic pressure. Telepathic links are unstable to begin with and any interruption to Gregory's focus would shatter a link.
Weaknesses: Psychic Noise: When a human comes under threat its brain creates a level of psychic noise. When mutiple people are under threat the noise becomes louder. The louder the noise the more dangerous it is to Gregory. In extreme cases Gregory would have to focus all his power on shielding himself or be rendered unconscious.

Intelligent- Mark is quite the quick-witted problem solver. He can work from weeks of planning and notes, and try to come up with things on the fly. He doesn't like being in the dark and will use all the tricks in the book to get his answers.

Sociable- Mark started off fairly quiet, but after years on the job and just being around, he has got pretty good at talking and will let people talk at him as well as knowing when to talk.

Principled- He stands for what he believes in, which to him is what the law stands for not how it is written (spirit than a letter), the safety of people and keeping people from sinking too deep.

Backstory: Born to a single mother, Mark grew up a quiet but normal kid, going through life as most people do, though with some difference. He joined the prestigious police force of Litihum, with Dhim working as a beat cop before moving up the ranks to Detective. With the department he works for is *department of extra-normal activities* basically the part of the police that deals with the more superpowered goings on of the cities. It is mostly dealing with damage, investigating scenes of superpowered fights and keeping an eye on any criminal elements that may have powers at there disposal. What made Mark so effective was that he had more in common with this powered individuals then you would first think. He is at first tried to hide his powers, after all, he had a normal life up until he was fourteen and his powers kicked in. Able to remember any image his eyes see as well as able to touch any object and see its history. Mark had trouble adjusting. As life went on he grew more comfortable with these abilities and when he moved up in the force, he revealed his skills. This means he is one of the public figures with powers.

Mastery of Ability: Able to store the images forever, and can recall history on most objects. In terms of the latter, who was holding it, where it has been, what is was for/ on/ how long it has been in its current location.
Limitations: Recalling a full day takes time, and depending on who how much info there is, it could take even longer. In terms of eyes, they have a limit on how many photos can be taken at a time, around twenty-five, before it starts to be a strain.
Weaknesses: His eye is sensitive to a certain light, hence the sunglasses. His hands even today sometimes give him the info he doesn't want hence the gloves.

Skills/Talents: Skilled in investigating, interrogation, hand to hand combat, firearms, notice details, patient and driving.

His eyes are blue with a greenish tint (sometimes*)they are also sunken in, with black eyebrows quiet close to them. He has short well kept light brown hair with his stubble being the same colour and is left at a light level. He has light red lips and fairly short nose. His ears are normal. He is a fairly athletic build, looking muscular but not to bodybuilder levels. He has large worn hands, with cuts along them and bitten nails.

Realist- Mark keeps his eyes on the facts, trying to view thing from an actual point of view. He can be emotional but when there is something to be done, Mark won't mince words.

Intelligent- Mark is quite the quick-witted problem solver. He can work from weeks of planning and notes, and try to come up with things on the fly. He doesn't like being in the dark and will use all the tricks in the book to get his answers.

Sociable- Mark started off fairly quiet, but after years on the job and just being around, he has got pretty good at talking and will let people talk at him as well as knowing when to talk.

Principled- He stands for what he believes in, which to him is what the law stands for not how it is written (spirit than a letter), the safety of people and keeping people from sinking too deep.

Not good at introspection- Mark doesn't look too far into his issues, more ignoring them until they exploded, and in turn isn't good at opening up.

Can come off too tough- He can sometimes be too hard on people, maybe years on the job may be his slightly dis-trusting nature, either way, he could lighten up.
