How to Apply
Applying is relatively simple, you copy a character sheet from one of the spoilers below, fill it in, and post it there. There are however, a few minor kinks. Next month rpnation will be removing/working on bbc plus, and also because I've seen character sheets that spread the page or codes and colors that render sheets unreadable, I've decided upon enforcing a 'one code for all sheets' rule to keep everything clear and well-ordered.

Now there are two options; You either grab/edit the codes (from the 'spoiler codes') for yourself, or you grab the sheet without codes (from the 'spoiler sheet') and I'll be happy to add the codes for you. I will also edit the pictures for your sheet, so please add an unedited photo of your character of at least 400x400 pixels.

If you wish to play someone in a different age range or someone of the crew, you can, but discuss this with me beforehand.

Initially,- because the RP starts off on a yacht and not, say in a city,- I'll be accepting up to 10-12 characters. Depending on what happens in the RP, to characters, or if players quit, there might be possibilities for additional characters and players later on.

Natural Appearance:
One might say that Finn's most defining feature is the pale blue eyes that adorn his face. With a pale complexion and hair bleached white, Finn has been described as ghostly on more than on occasion. His natural hair colour is a dirty blonde, and if one is paying attention they just might catch his natural roots. Finn stands just below 5'5, shorter than the average male, with a slender build.

Superstitious:
Totally. One too many sketchy experiences left Finn confident in his stance on the matter. Sure, the thump in the night may have been a raccoon rummaging about, but the shadows in his doorway certainly were not. Add in one particularly traumatic ouija board incident and his perspective was forever changed. Finn never had problems with cracking a mirror or petting the black cat down the street, but the actions had always left him with a sense of unease.

Natural Appearance:
Tristan stands tall at 6'3", highlighted by immaculate posture and pose. He weighs around 170; his body is lean and wiry. Coming down to his shoulders, his hair is a curly chocolate-brown, his skin a medium shade. His eyes are hazel, running a gamut from brown to amber with touches of green depending on lighting.

Body Modifications:
Swimming across his left shoulder blade is a splendidly realistic goldfish. It's not terribly big, small enough to cover with a palm, even. He has no noteworthy scars, nor any piercings.

Physical Condition:
Tristan is a capable man. While he's not an athlete, he's in good physical shape and would have no problem lifting heavy objects or running for a distance. However, he's prone to stomach troubles and migraines brought on by his tendency to excessively worry. He doesn't get the best sleep, either, and if he's stressed it might be days before he can get a good night of rest.

Other:
Tristan dresses befittingly for his job, even when he's on vacation. His wardrobe is full of button-ups; mostly black and white (and a single one green), but he also has a few painted with unique and impressive designs- never prints or patterns. He also has a few fitted, light turtlenecks, also in black and white. He wears black dress pants, or, rarely, black jeans. He doesn't own a pair of shorts. He decorates himself with simple jewelry- two gold rings, a watch, and a necklace. Plain as they are, they stand out against his monochrome and simplistic outfits.
Personality:
From the perspective of most, Tristan is a clever, organized individual with a precise plan to follow. Hard-working, and quick to deal with any issues. These are most certainly true. To strangers and close friends alike, he's an outstandingly disciplined man, both on the job and off. He's very polite and flowery in his way of speaking and very formal in presentation. He refuses to complain. He's immaculate in every sense- in his appearance, his manner of speech, and in everything he does. Many strangers do find it hard to approach him, despite his kind nature, he can come off as an uptight workaholic.

In a sense, they're right. He is quite uptight, and obsessed with control- when it comes to himself, at least. Those who know him for more than just a brief interaction will realize how much Tristan is in his head. His desire for perfection is nearly obsessive. He's constantly hoping to do better, to be better. He's a very harsh critic when it comes to himself. Everything could be improved, and he will constantly drive himself to a higher standard. He's big on preparation and planning, and while usually this is to his benefit, he will even map out his time off or his "leisure". Because of this, he finds it nearly impossible to relax. He doesn't have many close friends for this reason. That, and his tendency to throw himself into his work- leaving little time for any friends, or any possible partner at that.

Tristan is smart and good at dealing with others. But he is not quick when it comes to solving problems. He gets wrapped up in what could go wrong, seeing danger in even the tiniest of places. Everything is a far bigger deal to him than it is to anyone else. At heart, he worries. Far too much. He wants everything to go swimmingly, and to protect those around him, but he will get so entirely distracted by his thoughts and worry that he'll freeze up or forget to speak. He's an anxious man with the best intentions.

Deeply, though, Tristan is kind. He's patient, and a good listener. He wants to help others. And most of all, he wants to connect with people- he wants to be able to get out of his head, to live in the moment, and to enjoy his time with others. He doesn't want to spend every waking moment on his work anymore, he's tired of losing friends and partners to his career.

Superstitious:
Tristan is a believer in the supernatural, though he won't admit it. He doesn't like talk of "ghosts" or "hauntings". He's been quick to dismiss these concerns whenever they were brought up at his workplace, the Compass Rose Inn. There, he wouldn't let 'the paranormal' stand in his way. But, in truth, part of Tristan believes the weary guests as they explain their tales. Even if he assures there's nothing wrong with the old building, there's a reason he won't enter room 505.
