Unknown Space

Four bright galaxies spins against one another. Clashing slowly like buzzing saws as both celestial bodies collide, stars and nebulas meeting in a misaligned pattern. Stars ram into other varying stars. Supernovas were as countless as the stars in the night sky. Nebulas form new heavens of clouds.

The galaxies got closer, closer, and closer.

Till all four cores become one. Shun into the brightest light that no eye can bare gaze into.

Fire

Water

Earth

Air

4 raw elements found almost in any universe, found in 4 states. After the great white flash these elements scattered among the space, the portals, and the multiverse.

From the explosion of elements. A small dark spot is still from the origin of the catastrophe. Despite its stillness from afar it shook violently up close.

Cracks, the space around it formed cracks. It grew longer and longer, scattering itself, continuously growing like an eroding glass plane. The small dark spot was torn into much bigger space. The fractures stretched into great distance, to the great beyond. In it’s gaping black holes and fractal openings. Light and Darkness seeps like water as it emerges from the cracks. Disorder of the natural has been bent, where are its origins?

Adventure begins While no one has yet seen the Chaos Star with their own eyes. Its effects are multiversal. It is up to you to find this star in this fractured multiverse. Meet friends who will help you on your Journey or encounter foes from another world. You will start in your world and travel dimensions that are not your own, good luck.

"Another mission?" Zenitsu Agatsuma muttered to himself. "I Don't want to die..."
He was following his friends and fellow demon slayer Tanjiro Kamado and Inosuke Hashibira. The three boys walked in the woods. Sunset could be seen in thr horizon.
"You're still scared Monitsu?!" spat Inosuke, grinning under his boar mask. " No I'm not you boarhead!" Zenitsu spat back.
"In Zenitsu's defense, he made alot of improvements." Tanjiro replied.
"Thanks Tanjiro!" Zenitsu replied.

It was a beautiful early morning.
Prompto Argentum was the first to wake up. Noctis was still asleep and so were Gladiolus and Ignis. He got out of the rented trailer, trying to not wake his friends up.
It was a beautiful day outside. No more deamons around. It was the perfect time to take a photography stroll...and to hug some chocobos...until Ignis wakes up to make breakfest.
" Alright, time to see the Chocobos!" Prompto said to himself, his beloved camera in hand.

The presence of the Grail wasn't the first thing Lancer noticed when he had opened his red eyes. The first presence of note was not, in fact, the shard of the holy artifact that had presumably summoned the Servant here(sans Master and with only a flickering magical supply tied precariously to the Grail no less), but the magical signature of a Servant in gold, with noble phantasms far beyond his own.
The abandoned laboratory loomed around the newly materialized Heroic Spirit as he slowly grasped his bearings, the distinct lack of magical supply from a non-existent Master weighing on him as he summoned his spear in hand. Grey walls crowded around the decaying summoning circle, strands of magic still weakly skittering sparks along the runes. Gae Bolg in hand, Lancer warily stepped out of the circle, still searching for that faint trace of another magical presence, a vague trail spelling out the presence of a potential foe.
An Archer?
If another Servant was here, they surely weren't making much of an effort to conceal their presence. Even as obscuring as the former laboratory was, Chaldea's inactive reactors and latent magical energies did nothing to mask the presence of the Archer. Occasional newly made nicks and markings could be found along the laboratory's doors and walls, and the old steel door at the end of the room Lancer had found himself in had been bluntly forced open by a heavy barrage of thrown projectiles. Scattered and battered bones were strewn all around the room, and while there was no signs of a struggle, there was quite a few signs of a massacre that had been heavily weighed in the strange Servant's favor. No blood though, it was most likely a few unfortunate skeletons that had been attracted by the scent of magic. The small rampage of thrown objects and skeletons trailed off roughly a few meters up the hallway to a point where the destruction vanished into stray piles of oddly placed objects as if a child had forgotten to put away their toys. A dagger inscribed with runes, a necklace made from gold and crystals...there was enough treasures strewn around to make a jeweler weep. Lancer gingerly poked a (probably cursed) shortsword with the tip of his spear, watching as a golden portal wove itself into being beneath the enchanted weapon, closing around it before vanishing as if the blade had been disgruntled at being disturbed. It seemed that as long as they weren't actively disturbed and their owner wasn't really paying attention to them, the objects would remain as quite a helpful trail marker. From further up the darkened hall, the sounds of clattering bones echoed followed by the echoes of some heavy object being thrown at high velocities, not resembling so much of a fight as an artillery barrage against an immobile object(well to be fair, skeletons are not smart and nor are they hardy).
Oh by all the shamrocks in Ireland...!
Shrugging, Lancer internally sighed and started following the trail of golden breadcrumbs made from what looked like random expensive objects.

"You dare strike a king?" It was almost an insult to the Servant that the Golden King himself had been ever so rudely greeted by skeletons when he had been summoned. They, of course, quickly learned the hard way that fighting the king that literally owned every weapon in existence wasn't a great idea, even if said king as a) a kid and b) not really capable of fully using all the weapons. "Pray that all your misfortune had been depleted upon my arrival!" The one surviving skeleton from said artillery barrage quickly learned that Archer was at least a solid head shorter than most of its opponents, and thus the fact he was a lot smaller and a lot faster and a lot more hyperactive made it a lot harder to stab him to death when you're a slow-moving skeleton, and also the fact that while Archer couldn't swordfight to save his life, he sure as hell could throw the sword in your face. Er....your skull. Cause skeletons don't really have faces.
And that's exactly what Archer did.
Ah, the humiliation of a skeleton upon being destroyed from the very angry flying projectile of a...a rice cooker being thrown by an Archer without a bow! (Listen he grabbed the first object in his treasury and that just happened to be a rice cooker. Please forgive him, great god of Rice Cookers).
Brushing off the remains of the skeletons, the very disgruntled Archer totally did not pout(anyone disagreeing with be thrown a rice cooker to the head) as he paced his way to the next security door, only faintly registering the vague ping of a new Servant.
Another Servant...?
The magical signal was quickly obscured and forgotten however, either because Lancer's runes had concealed him from detection or because Archer very quickly found more interesting things to partake in. More precisely, the presence of more skeletons with swords trying to stab him.
Very fun.

"...I am starting to...slightly dislike creepy science laboratories."
He's making quite the mess slogging through what felt like an entire dungeon made from skeletons, and his magical reservoirs(as powerful as they may be) couldn't last forever, especially without a Master nor anchor to renew them.
Archer idly wondered if he would have to clean up all those bones later as the next wave of skeletons arrived.

"...I am starting to...very much dislike creepy science laboratories."
Surely someone would have noticed the racket by now....wouldn't they? The other option was that he was, in fact, utterly alone and Archer decided that he would very very much dislike this option even more than creepy science laboratories. A true accomplishment.

Tora sighed from within the icy cave, his breath billowing out in white puffs from the contrast in temperature. He was near the border of the Socarrat Trail and the Glaseado Mountains, in a cave dug out to go through the mountain and underneath the Casseroya Falls, though it didn't cut all the way through to view the water.
He'd been hiding around here for... he didn't know how long. He lost count. Probably a couple months. He found the snow and mountains to be more suitable to his new... condition, though the snow storm blowing outside was a bit much. The downside to the snow and storms was that it was much harder for things to grow, and he'd ran out of food a month ago, surviving only on the meager berries and herbs he could find. He knew he had lost a good amount of weight, but it didn't really bother him... yet. He knew he should at least move down closer to the Lake to take advantage of the more diverse terrain, find more to eat, but he didn't want to run into other people. He didn't want anyone to see what he'd become.
Very unfortunate for Tora, indeed.

(normally i would use a macro but i don't have one for Yari or Paps yet so its gonna have to wait lol)

The storm billowed around the mountains. The cold wind and snow unforgiving to anyone who dared to trek through. Most people would turn back at the first sign of the storm, worried about getting lost, attacked or worse in the cloud of snow and ice. The route reflected this well, there was not a person or Pokemon in sight, except for a young teen, shaking as she pushed herself forward, deeper into the snow.
Yari shivered uncontrollably as she took another step through the snow, which was up to her knees now. The people at the Pokemon Center warned her of the storm, they told her to wait it out, it was too dangerous. She of course, didn't listen. She thought she could beat it, the Team Star Base she was looking for was just over the mountains, if she was fast enough she could reach it before the storm blocked the way. She wasn't fast enough, though, the storm blew in only an hour after she left the Pokemon Center, and it was only getting worse. Even with her helmet and cape to shield her from the storm, she was still freezing. It was only after slipping and falling did she finally admit to herself that she needed to find shelter.
In the distance Yari could make out the faint outline of a cave. She sighed with relief, thank Arceus she found the cave when she did, her fingers were starting to go numb. Yari scrambled into the cave, she slumped against the cave wait, pulling off her helmet. She inhaled deeply, taking in fresh cold air. She adjusted her cape, pulling it so it was completely wrapped around her, like a blanket.
"Cold.." She mumbled to herself, rubbing her hands together to warm them up

[Will post with Papyrus later]

Having perched herself on the frame of the open window to her inn room, one foot braced on the far side for stability, Dana gazed out past the limits of the small village of Nalya as the sun rose in the sky. The widespread grass and handful of trees that she could see marked this part of Motavia as being one of the more lush areas thanks to the nearby ocean and lake. It wasn't the most green area of the planet, but it was far better than many other locations and it was enough to feel more comfortable to the purple-haired woman. Having been raised with easy access to parks filled with plant life, she found desolate scenery of the dry Motavian deserts to be somewhat depressing.

But she wouldn't have to deal with that for a while. Today Dana planned on making her way to the nearby city of Aiedo, the largest community on the entire planet. It would be interesting to see first hand how it differed from Nalya and some of the other communities she would be visiting later, and she wanted to give the famed Hunter's Guild a quick look while she was at it. The Hunters were skilled exterminators of Bio-Monsters and trouble shooters, and she was curious to find out how they would stack up compared to some of the people she knew. There was no way they could match her parents of course, but perhaps some of them would have skills that could equal that of a Neilgo Royal Guard. However, likely the only way she would be able to figure that out is if she could get some of them to spar with her which would be a challenge all on its own.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard shouts of shock mixed with some panic. Leaning out of the window a bit more, the cause for the shouting quickly became obvious to Dana when she noticed an object falling from the sky, lit up by the heat of re-entry moments before it struck the ground in the distance. The warrior barely had a moment to exclaim a quick 'oh shit!' before diving for cover just in time for the shockwave of the impact to sweep over the building. While the buildings were built in stone as was standard practice for this planet, fully half of the village suffered damage including collapsed roofs and walls. The room Dana was in was no exception, the princess covering her head as pieces of stone and other debris fell onto her.

Thankfully there wasn't any rooms above her so the amount of the debris was a lot smaller than it could have been, which meant she was able to to extricate herself with just a bit of effort. Coughing from all the dust, she carefully worked her way over to where the bed was and moved some of the stone pieces so she could retrieve her equipment. As Dana donned her gear, thoughts raced through her head. She knew what the falling object was, but it wasn't due to fall for another few decades. Which raised the question, was this an alternate timeline where its orbit decayed earlier than expected, or did something else happen? Either way, she had every intention of investigating just to make sure there wasn't any threats she needed to be aware of.

Since the door hadn't been blocked, Dana simply left the room that way instead of having to jump out of the window. Making her way out to the front desk, she raised a hand to forestall the owner's exclamations of relief that she was ok. "I'm going to go check out what that was. If people here want to hire a Hunter to do an 'official' investigation, go for it but I figure I can at least scout it out and make sure there's no other obvious threats to the village." Not listening when the other woman started to respond, Dana quickly left the inn and started to power-walk towards where the object landed. While she could hear some shouts for help and cries of pain, the swordswoman knew full well that the people could take care of themselves. They had the means to rescue those trapped and Res was a common enough Technique that they would be able to quickly patch up the worst of the injuries with healing items from the local store taking care of the rest. Once she confirmed that there was nothing lingering in the wreckage that would cause a problem she could return to help out, but for now the investigation was her primary objective.

Of course it would be a bit of a walk to get there, but it was close enough where she was reasonably certain she could get in and out before any Hunters showed up. Or at least that was her hope, otherwise there would be questions she didn't exactly want to answer if she didn't have to.

Whitty

[Newgrounds Subway Station]

So far, the evening in Newgrounds seemed the same as always. The subway station was as crowded as ever with people of the city in a hurry to get to wherever they needed to go be it in or out of the city. So many people cared not about what the hour was when they travelled, for everyone had their own agendas. Selfishness was something a certain bombhead knew too well.
He kept hidden from the crowd in a side alleyway. While part of him was sure that there was no way that Updike or anyone else he would send from the Greater Good would be around at this hour, he wasn't about to take his chances. Especially in times like this. He didn't know why but he couldn't help but shake a feeling that something was off. Maybe it was just the suspicious news stories that he keeps finding on his social media account, of which Carol helped him set up a few months ago. Said something about having a social media was what was hip nowadays and let friends easily contact you or something. Honestly, the whole thing was turning out to be an annoying slew of pings and drama on his cell phone, especially since that annoying blue-haired kid who rap battled him just last week somehow found the account. He had no idea how to get him to stop posting on his pages and just reading the slew of insults and reminders of his loss against the guy was making him want to go Ballistic all over again. Maybe he should ask Carol how to use that "block" function? Nah. Carol would probably just tease him for being a "boomer" due to his lack of knowledge on all this technology stuff. He knew she meant nothing but fun but it was embarassing to be called that by her of all people. For...some reason. Maybe it might be wiser to ask Hex. Sure, Hex wasn't much better but at least hearing the robot spout out random Google Search goofs from time to time was better than the embarassment of Carol seeing how much he didn't understand technology.
He sighed to himself, shaking the cup of bubble tea that Carol got him with their late lunch earlier. He'd never even heard of the stuff before she gave it to him but he had to admit he liked the flavor. And not just because he would eat anything put in front of him either. At least the bubble tea was something pleasant. It was cold, the crowd was too loud, and here he was, scrolling through another one those panic inducing stories on the internet. Another story about how someone who got on a subway went missing. These stories have been all the talk in Newgrounds lately. Several times a day, someone would leave for work, school or just to visit a friend via subway and would never be seen again. They'd never arrive at their destination, never come back home, just nothing. Like the subway disappeared off the face of the earth. But there was no way that really happened, right? Nothing could just pop out of existance, right?
He shook the cup again, closing out the article. It was already making his head hurt. He checked the time: 10:00. Just about five minutes until the subway that Carol advised him to take would get here. She said that where it was going would be somewhere far enough that not even Updike would be able to find him anymore. Although the bomb head didn't beleive her and was pretty sure that Updike would find him anyway, he was definately getting tired of this city. Between getting screwed over by demons and constantly having that kid talk about him, it was hard for him to hide. Besides, he never felt safe being anywhere for more than a day and he's starting to run out of reliable hiding spots in Newgrounds. Maybe starting fresh somewhere was just what he needed. Something to let some of the anxiety out. Although, not seeing his friends again was hard, Carol and Hex both promised they'd visit. Afterall, they could always get on a subway too and visit. Even though Whitty insisted he probably wouldn't stay there long either, it didn't seem Carol wanted to hear any of it. Welp, regardless of how things were to turn out, it was almost time. Whitty just hoped he wouldn't end up another one of those crazy news stories...

Sans The Skeleton

[Snowdin Town]

Vagabond Spectre Vagabond Spectre Blaklyte Blaklyte [if Papyrus is here too]
It was a typical morning in Snowdin Town. Snow was gently falling, albit a bit more than usual. However, it wasn't much more than any monster wasn't already used to. When you live in a town with this name, you gtow to expect snow on a daily. Currently, Sans was only just now starting to wake up, though a bit reluctantly. Chances are, hd was probably going to end up rolling over abd going back to sleep. Well, if he didn't have a horrid hedache, that was.
"ugh...feels like i got run over by a truck. and i didn't even go to grillby's yesterday..." the skeleton grumbled to himself, pulling his pillow over his head. Why was his magic so out of whack? It wasn't often that Sans ever got sick, despite his fraility and in every run the kid had, he was always in fine health. Speaking of, he wondered if they were even going to fall again. If he was feeling woozy and off due to magic being off, then he was sure that it affected the kid's abilities. Or maybe not. He knew the kid had a RESET ability, a system menu, they had their lives in the palm of their hand. But if the magic was off, maybe they won't come? Maybe it would fibally lock them out for once. Heh. Wishful thinking. He knew full well that this was the start of the same old song and dance. Another attempt at the child's ideal ending. They won't be satisfied, will let them live awhile and just restart over again. What time was this going to be? He kind of lost track after 11.
He yawned, rubbing his eyes as he glanced at the door. Huh. No sign of his brother yet. Maybe this run, he had gotten up early. Not surprising, given his headache. He wanted to convince himself that it would go away if he just slept for a bit longer but he knew that it wouldn't. Great. Looks like he was going to have to hide the unpleasant feeling from his brother.
A chill blew in from the opened window to the side of the room, blowing some of the disorganized papers on Sans's dresser onto the already messy floor. That chill somehow felt colder than usual. And wait! How did that even get open? He always closes his window. What was it doing open all night?!
Welp, so much for sleeping in. He was going to have to get up to close that as much as he didn't want to. Then he was sure his brother will be trying to get him up from there. Looks like he's just gettinf uo early this time.
Sighing, he yawned sleepily before scooting out of bed. Oops. Looks like he slept in his clothes again. Whatever. Doesn't matter much. He shuffled to the window and gently closed it before looking outside, shoving his hands into his jacket pockets and putting up his usual grin, though it showed hints of sleepiness. Maybe he was just a bit woozy this run. Yet no matter how much he tried to convince himself of that he somehow knew better. Something major has happened, upsettung the magical balance of this place.

Zenitsu stopped. This got the attention of both Tanjiro and Inosuke.
"What's the matter Monitsu?!" Inosuke spat.
"A rumbling noise..." Zenitsu muttered. Tanjiro rembered about Zenitsu's enhanced sence of hearing. He picked up a strange sent, thanks to his own enhanced sence of smell. The ground started to shake. It started to shatter under Zenitsu's feet. The young demon slayer fell in the newly formed hole before he had the chance to run away.
" Zenitsu!"
"MONITSU!!!" Both Tanjiro and Inosuke were too late. They looked at the hole Zenitsu fell thtough. It had a strange aura. Their investigation was interupted when a demon emerged from a nearby tree in attempt to pounce on them. It was short lived though as the demon fell into the portal as well. " Monitsu's in big trouble now!" Inosuke replied. Tanjiro, worried, looked at the grounded portal. He could still track Zenitsu's scent as well as the demon's. " Let's hope Zenitsu will be able to handle the demon." Tanjiro said.

Zenitsu fell from the strange portal avove, especting to die once he makes his landing. However,he fell face first in a pile of snow near Sans's house. He got up,spitting the snow in his mouth. The young yellow/orange clad demon slayer was covered in it. Zenitsu was still down on his luck though,as more snow from the rooftop crashed on him. He was trapped in a snowpile, only his arms ,eyes and eyebrows visible. He looked like a weird looking snowman.
He heard noises from avove. Those of a demon. It seemed to have followed him through the portal as well. Were Tanjiro and Inosuke alright? The demon seemed to have landed on the house's roof, waiting for it's prey to move.
Zenitsu didn't move. He was scared.

Tora froze from where he was laying against the back wall of the cave. There was someone else here.
And not just anyone. it was his friend, Yari. He hadn't seen her in months, and he'd be lying if he wasn't at least partially glad to see her.
But there was a reason he was hiding from everyone. he was a monster now, a freak. He didnt want Yari to see him like this.
Slowly, he stood up, trying to not make a sound, and back up further into a darker part of the cave. Hopefully she wouldn't notice him. Maybe he could sneak out of the cave if given the chance. That would mean going out into the storm, but maybe he could find a different cave, or make his way down to Casseroya Lake.
Hopefully luck would be on his side for once.

((aaaa this will have to do until i can find a more proper macro for them))

  • After taking afew moments to catch her breath, Yari pulled her bag into her lap. She dug around for a few minutes before pulling out two balls, she clicked a button on each of them and they burst open with a blue light. The light then materialized into two armor clad creatures. They looked like a pair of miniature knights, each one had a helmet adorned with a plume of flames. The twin Charcadets chittered a small greeting to Yari. "Gala, Sieg, help me make a fire." She said. Yari dove back into her bag, rumaging through it for things they could use to build a campfire. Galahad and Siegfried looked at Yari, then at eachother. They made a quiet chattering sound, as if planning their next move. The pair then nodded and one, Siegfried set off deeper into the cave. The other Charcadet began moving rocks from the surrounding area and placed them in a circle nearby, forming a small fire pit.
Yari stood back up and walked over to the ring of rocks. She placed some paper wrappings from her lunch earlier that day in the center, along with some fluffed out tinder from her fire starter kit. "Galahad, use Will 'O Wisp." She said. The creature stepped away from the ring and extended a stubby hand. The flame on their head grew brighter, and from it jumped a lone wisp. The wisp drifted gently into the pile of tinder, igniting it. Yari pulled off her cape and placed it neatly on the ground, she then sat down. "That should last us until Sieg gets back with more supplies, Thank you." She said.

Siegfried continued his descent into the dark tunnel. Just as they discussed moments ago, with Galahad, Siegfried was in search of firewood, which, is not the easiest thing to find in an icy cave, they figured if they went far enough, the cave would open on the otherside to a clearing, or maybe they would find a pokemon who could lend them some tinder from their nest. The pokemon paused to poke a rock with with foot. Or maybe they could find some flammable rocks. Eventually, the tunnel opened up into a large cavern, Siegfried expanded the flame on their head, illuminating the dark room, a few pokemon scurried away from the light, likely startled by it. Siegfried looked around, their gaze stopping on a particularly large figure on the other side of the room. Siegfried froze, whatever it was, it was big, very very big, and scary. They began to chitter nervously, flaring their flames to get a better look at the potentially dangerous pokemon.

Was just a  little bit of luck too much to ask for?!
Apparently it was.
Tora had backed up against the back wall of the cave, but the light kept following him, revealing him to the small Charcadet he was now faced with.
Shit, it was Siegfried.
What was he supposed to do about that?
Tora quickly shook his head and held a finger up to his lips, desperately hoping sieg would catch the hint and not tell Yari he was down here.
Maybe he could dash out into the storm, past yari, fast enough that she couldn't tell what just passed her?

Zenitsu was still imobille hidden in the snowpile when the demon made it's decent on the ground from the rooftop. It prowled around his location, searching for it's prey. " Where could that patetic human be?" it hissed, " I sweared it fell in this strange hole before I did..."
" Please don't find me...please don't find me...please don'..."
"No matter. I think I'll feast on the inhabitants of this house in the meantime..." said the demon. It went near the front door and scratched it.
Zenitsu could also hear noises inside the house. The inhabitants are still inside. He could hear their sounds from outside. One seemed laybacked and the other was full of vigor, rivalling even the late Flame pillar Kyojiro Rengoku. However, the inhabitants didn't seem humans, not demons either.
If that hole was really a portal to another world,a world where the beings living in it did not know the dangers of demons. The people inside the house would be in great danger, human or not.
Something must be done. Zenitsu wished he could protect those innocent outworldy people from the demon, but he was too scared. What to do?
He felt dizzy, almost about to pass out.

Whitty

》Newgrounds Subway Station《

Whitty yelped in surprise when the alarm that he'd set on his phone suddenly began to go off. Luckily, his phone was on vibrate so it didn't make too much of a scene but still, when he was tense like this the sound was absolutely terrifying! Looks like it was time to venture out and board the subway. Part of him had to admit, he was going to miss this place. However, ever since that dumb rap battle, it's been near impossible to hide. His anxiety wouldn't let him stay here. Honestly je was shocked that he had allowed himself to stay this long. He threw his now empty bubble tea cup into a nearby trash can.
Now came the horrible obstacle of the crowd. With his freakish height and natirally bright lit eyes it was hard to sneak past a crowd. If he got caught up in someone else's dumb rap battle, not only would he miss the subway but he would probaby crater this place. The sole reason he didn't explode after that rap battle with that kid was because Carol heard him and put out his fuse. He was pretty sure that no Carol was going to save this place if it happened again. However, he had an idea. Maybe if he put his hood up and held that microphone he kept in his jacket, maybe they'd think he's already going to a rap battle and leave him alone. Most people at least seemed to get a memo that someone was busy, save for that annoying Boyfriend.
Pulling up his hood in case Updike or someone else from Greater Good was somehow lingering here, he retrieved the microphone from his pocket and held it, as if he were ready to sing. Luckily, that actually caused many of the people in the crowd to move and just in time for the subway to pull to a screeching hault. Huh. That worked more efficiently than he expected. Well, here goes. It was time to see if those news stories really were a crock...

Sans The Skeleton

》Snowdin Town《

Sans was cut off from his thoughts when he heard the door open. Heh. He knew that Papyrus was going to end up coming in here one way or another. He knew his brother well. Probably better than anyone else, considering how he raised the guy. Immediately, he turned toward him, keeping up his tired grin. He was pretty sure that Papyrus wouldn't be thinking much of it. He's pretty much become a master of keeping his brother fooled.
"heh, guess so. either that or i just got to chilled to stay asleep. having the window open had me chilled to the bone, bro."
The skeleton greeted with a pun as usual, giving a chuckle as he looked at his brother. Seems he was in high spirits today. Maybe even higher spirits than usual. If such a thing was possible for Papyrus. He was just about to say something else when the scream rang out. Now that was new. At first, he wondered if the kid somehow bypassed the Ruins and started a Genocide here instead. No. Come to think of it, that scream didn't sound like it was a monster he recognized and Sans knew a lot of monsters. Almost all of the monsters had heard of him, from him slacking off on sentry duty, his stand up comedy at MTT Resort or his silly hotdog stand in Hotland. There was hardly any monster that hadn't at least expressed their annoyances with his puns. So not recognizing a voice was definately an alarm.
"hm...i dunno, bro. but i'm gonna check it out, k?"
Without waiting for an answer, the skeleton ported away in a small blue light.

Sans only ported himself to the front room. Sure he could have walked but walking was too much work. Plus with someone screaming and scratching at his door, he wasn't about to waste time walking over to it, or worse, risking his brother getting there first and potentially being hurt. He stood at the door but did not open it, his eyelights going out in suspicion. No. This being's energy didn't feel like it was friendly. No way was he opening the door without a bit of conversation first. It wasn't like this was his first time with door conversation.
"heh. i don't think scratching on the door counts as starting a knock knock joke, buddy." he spoke to the being scratching at their door. "listen. since i'm a bit of a lazybones, how about you tell me what that scream was, hm? it sounds like it was right where you are."
His voice was lax, yet intinidating at the same time. Sans had a knack for that.

Zenitsu heard one of the inhabitants of the house move closer to the door.
" Please, don't answer, there's a demon over there..." he whispered. Something must be done. Despite feeling dizzy,he shook the snow away from him and got out of the snowpile.

Meanwhile, the demon was still scratching at the door. " Dosen't matter who screamed." It said. It then tried to hit the door, trying to destroy it. " You'll be my prey soon enough!" it said with a sadistic glee."So come out little pig!" it said sarcastically.

Zenitsu coudn't get to the door so he went to the nearby window instead. The young demon slayer looked inside the window. At first,he was abit spook by the fact that one of the inhabitants was a living skeleton. However unlike the demon, his sounds were peaceful. Human or not, this weird skeleton being was in danger.
Zenitsu had to do something. He tried to get the skeleton's attention by bangning on the window.
"GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR!!! THERE'S A DEMON!!!!" the yellow/ orange clad young man with the messy blonde and orange dandelion like hair screamed.
Fortunatly, the demon was too distracted to hear him.

Siegfried went silent as the light revealed Tora's face. It took a moment for them to process what or rather who they were looking at, but the second Tora moved, Siegfried snapped into action. He began squeaking excitedly running back and forth between Tora and the entrance to the cave, as if unsure what to do. Finally the little fire pokemon made a mad dash for the exit, disappearing into the tunnel before Tora had a chance to react. It didn't take them long to make it back to Yari and Galahad. Yari was just pulling out ingredients for lunch. The Charcadet ran over, crying and babbling excitedly. Yari looked over.
    "Sieg your back--hey whats wrong?."

Seig, still chittering excitedly, took hold of Yari's hand and gently tugged on it. They turned to the tunnel and pointed, then looked back at Yari. It didn't take much to understand they wanted her to follow them.
"The tunnel..? Whats down their Sieg."
Yari asked. Siegfried only became more insistent that their trainer followed. They tugged harder on Yari's hand, actively pulling her to the tunnel now. The trainer placed her free hand on the ground for support as Sieg practically dragged her towards the tunnel.
"Okay okay--let me stand up first!"
Yari pulled out of Siegfried's grasp and pushed off the ground. She then turned to Galahad.
"Watch the food for us alright, we'll be back!"

The other pokemon nodded, giving Yari a quick salute before stationing themself in front of the fire. using their own flames to keep the fire alive.
Siegfried let Yari down the dark tunnel, bringing her back to the cavern they we're in earlier. The Charcadet skittered into the center of the room, then flared their plume, lighting the cave and revealing Tora, cowering in the darkness.
Yari could only stare in shock, her eyes as wide as dinner plates. She almost didnt recognize him, he looked different. Very, very different. But there was no mistaking it. The person who went missing months earlier. The boy she had spent months traveling the region in search for. The friend she gave up her academic career for. He was standing right here.
    She finally found Tora.

Zenitsu's eyes widened.
" YOU'RE A SKELETON TOO?!" the young man cried. "Whatever you are, don't you stand there! There's a demon in your front door!!!!"
Too late. The demon ran on all fours toward Zenitsu and Papyrus. " There you are human...and...what are you?" the demon hissed at Papyrus.
It still looked humanoid but had horns on it's forhead and sharp teeth and claws. This horifying creature looked out of place in this foreign world full of friendly monsters. " You're nothing but bones! No matter, I'll chew on your skeleton bones then feast on the human."
Zenitsu shaked in fear before to pass and collasped on the showy ground.
" Pathetic..." the demon snarled. As it came closer...something odd happened.
" I woudn't do that if I were you demon..." said a voice. Zenitsu got up. His eyes were still closed but he was up again. The expresion on his face was more serious, different then the screaming cowardly boy from earlier.

"You can fight, right?" the sleep walking Zenitsu asked Papyrus. "With my enhanced hearing, I could tell that even if you are not human, you are good and brave. You have my trust. This demon is a potential threat to your world. Together,we should be able to defeat it.
" ENOUGH OF THIS!!!!!" the demon roared. "I'LL DEVOUR THIS ENTIRE VILLAGE AFTER I'M DONE WITH THE BOTH OF YOU!!!" It charged torward Zenitsu and Papyrus.

Tora stood frozen as yari stared back at him.
Oh no, no no no. This wasn't supposed to happen. Yari wasn't supposed to see him like this.
What was he supposed to do? Should he run? Yari was in the way. His heart was beating so fast, ears pinned back in fear, and his head swam with indecision. Or was it hunger? He couldn't remember the last time he had anything substantial to eat.
Run, he had to run and hope yari forgets about him, or thinks she just had a strange dream or hallucination while caught in a storm.
He could feel and hear his heart hammering in his chest, could she? He had to leave.
With a quick lunge, he was past yari and on his way to the exit of the cave.
Until he wasn't.
He had no clue what happened, he blacked out, but he was now laying on the ground, vision swimming and head spinning.
Maybe it'd been longer since he had enough to eat than he thought. Did he pass out for a moment from malnutrition, triggered by moving too fast?
Didn't matter, he had to get back up, but his body felt so heavy and his limbs so shaky and weak, it felt better to just stay down...

    "Tora--."
Yari snapped out of her thoughts. She rushed to Tora's side and dropped to her knees just by his head. Now that she was up close, she could see just how bad he was. He was thin, very thin. It was hard to tell in the light of Sieg's flame, but he seemed pale too.
    "Arceus, you look terrible.."
She muttered. How could Tora let himself get like this? Had she not found him when she did he could have... Yari rubbed her eyes, wiping away tears that formed at the mere thought of what could have happened to her friend. She turned to Siegfried.
"Go get your sibling, tell them to bring my bag--fast."
    She said.
The Charcadet nodded then disappeared into the tunnel. The light faded from the room, leaving Yari and Tora alone in darkness. Yari was quiet for a long time. The only noise to be heard was the muffled sounds of the snow storm as it continued to brew outside their shelter. Finally, Yari's quivering voice broke through the silence.
"W-Where have you been? What happened to you Tora..?"

Tora took a few deep breaths, his heart rate slowing slightly, though he could still hear it pounding in his ears. He almost missed what Yari said. Guilt gnawed at his stomach worse than his hunger.

But he still didn't want to be seen like this. It was shameful, his mistake. He should've known better than to challenge a ruthless legendary. The ruinous sword no less.

He slowly turned himself onto his stomach, using his arms to prop himself up, though they were still shaking with the exertion.

Just breathe. Just breathe.

He'll be fine, just another moment and he could force himself to stand.

Oh. Right, Yari was talking to him.

Should he say something? What would he say? Was it too late to run and hope yari thought she made this whole encounter up?
...
Probably. He never had good luck. Even before being cursed.

He opened his mouth to speak, but he felt as though he was so out of breath, like the wind was knocked out of him.

Well, it probably was, considering he blacked out and fell.

He shut his mouth, that wasn't helping anything. A soft grunt was all Yari got to her questions.

Even if he did have more breath to speak with, he didn't know what to say, anyways.

Meanwhile, the demon was hit by Papyrus's bone attack.
"What are you?!" The demon roared. " Enough of this!! Blood demon art! Black fire!!" The demon unleashed black flames toward Zenitsu and Papyrus. The sleep walking Demon Slayer barely dodged the attack.
Zenitsu then focused again. The ground vibrated and static filled the air.Sounds similar to thunder were heard.
" It's more powerful then I thought." Zenitsu said in a calm tone.

Sans The Skeleton

》Snowdin Town《

It took some time for Sans to respond to the matter at hand. Perhaos because he still had pounding headache and was more than a little groggy. However, when he did gather his thoughts, it didn't take long for him to shift into his more serious side. Of course, he had heard Zenitsu's warnings about this...thing that found its way into their house. But what shifted him into overdrive was the fact that it not only was targetting an innocent but also his own brother. One thing to never do was threaten Papyrus, unless you wanted a bad time.
He knew better than to go and confront the being head on. Afterall, doing that would probably only cause it to attack them worse than it was already, or get himself caught directly in the crossfire. As capable as Sans was when he had to be, the skeleton knew his fraility could not be helped. Again, he ported off, a short distance away so that he could see Zenitsu and his brothet preparing to combat this thing. There was no way he was going to let his brother possibly get dusted by this thing. What he was about to do was probably going to leave him bone tired but there was no choice.
"you shouldn't have done that, bud."
Those were the skeleton's only words before his right eye began to glow, flashing between yellow and blue. If one were looking at him they may be downright terrified at hoe a usually laid back skeleton could look so intimidating. But that wasn't all. With a snap of his fingers, a large Gaster Blaster appeared near the attacking demon, blasting it head on with a bright white light. Of course, it could dodge if its reflexes were fast enough but Sans was hoping that at the very least it would be caught off gaurd and perhaps divert its attention away from Papyrus.
Never mind the fact that Papyrus would for a rare time, see him like this. Right now, all Sans cared for was getting that thing away from the only family he's got. If Papyrus was going to somehow go out this timeline, he wasn't going to just let it happen this time.

Fortunatly, the demon was caught off guard and hit by Sans's Gaster Blaster. It's right arm and shoulder were disintigrated. "My arm!" it cried. " You little bag of bones!" it cried as it's arm was slowly regenerating.
" Thank you for the help." the still sleepwalking Zenitsu told Sans. The usually cowardly and skittish demon slayer looked also more intimidating and braver then usual. 1671396308069.png"Aim for the neck. It's the demon's weak spot!"
Zenitsu told Sans.

He partly unsheathed his Nichirin katana. Sounds of thunder were now more loud. Zenitsu's eyes snapped open, glowing a bright white.

1671397104154.png
"Thunder breathing...first form...Thunderclap and flash!"

Zenitsu blitzed toward the demon at the speed of light. When he stopped at the other side,it left a cut on the right side of the demon's neck but was not enough to decapitate it. It was still a powerful blow though and left for an opening.
Zenitsu hoped that Sans's next attack to be enough to finish the demon.

People are walking outside the door passing by, ignoring pressing matters of their own. A man decked in Legionary armor is reminiscing over old times (childhood memories) with his father, Leontidus. A famous Senetor of the time, his mother and his sister are happy to see him. It's like old times. Marius had just come from the war to see his family at the time to say the least.
The good times weren't going to last long as screams were heard below.

The morning sun made her white pelt seem to shine in it, and she laid back down, basking in the warm sun. Her head was up, and she looked down at the village, catching the scent of some unfamiliar human. She didn't get up yet, though, and waited to see if the newcomer would appear.
