Hello! I'm Sam (she/her, they/them), and I'm looking for some new partners. It's been a hot minute since I've started a new rp, and I'm hoping Rpnation can help with that. I'm extremely flexible with my roleplays, and I love to get to know my writing partners!
About myself
I'm a 21 year old biology student in the south eastern US. I tend to be pretty with both school and labwork, so it may take some time for me to get back to you. I'm really into old horror movies, and I'm always down to discuss them! I used to rp constantly on DA for about four years or so, but after the chat function was dismantled and I started school, things really slowed down.
What I'm looking for
As I mentioned in the title, I'm excited to discuss plots and settings! I like constructing worlds and scenarios to best suit the interests of both parties, and like to get some ideas down before we start writing. I've got a soft spot for gruff characters and imaginative settings (i.e. anything that isn't modern realism), such as the wild west, the 1920s, and historical fantasy. I lean heavy into adventure, and while romance is great fun, I'd rather we plot that after we establish relationships between characters. Speaking of! I tend to do best writing Ocs, though I have some experience with fandom characters (Mostly Portal, Re-animator, and TF2), and while I'm open to you writing with canon characters, please understand I may not know everything about their source material. Since I'm rusty, I'm totally down to do things very casually. I'm not picky about lengths and I'm always excited to toss around AU ideas, or jump from plot to plot. I'd rather rp over PM, and I'm very new to RPnation, so please be patient while I try to get the hang of the platform.
On the flip side, I do have a few things I'm not alright with. I'd rather avoid excessively dark themes or gratuitous violence, including sadism or torture porn. I won't write for or alongside real world people, nor will I write with fusojis. Lastly, I'd prefer 18+ rp partners.
