Can't Upload The Proper Image Files

So, I was in a group chat with 2 other members and I was attempted to upload a file. The file is a JPG, just a basic picture file I was using to show off a design for an upcoming roleplay. But every time I upload it, I get a message saying "there was an error uploading your photo." I know that JPG is a supported format, so I'm puzzled. Is it just my computer, the file, or is it something on the site?

7433KB. Does that surpass the limit? Am I just an idiot who overlooked it? xD

It might be. I don't actually know what the limit is off the top of my head, but my guess is the image is too large. If you want to test it, try and upload a small image. If it uploads, you know it's just too large. If it doesn't, there may be another underlying issue.
