C.C. - Mission 2

Shina laid a free hand on the grenade artimis threw to her as she immediately prepped it to go inside the mouth of a nearby antlion. Shina took a step back allowing artimis and Alerius breathing room to prep the neccesary attack on the beast that held Artimis in its clutches. Shina saw another nearby antlion prepping its attack as she begun to lay cover fire immediately another on reppeled from the ceiling to fight her as well. Call it a three way battle if you will. She transformed her smg into the machete that begun to vibrate with heat energy as she sawwed it into the nearest antlion. Immediately jumping and doubling back a block from the second. She swung deep into the jaws of the second and back another swipe into the leg of the first that received an injury. THe first one collapsed from the lost balance of losing a leg. After she switched back to her firearm. She lunuged on top of the injured antlion, and fired a full clip into the beast neck causing a loud squeal followed with it collapsing. Once it fell Shine lunged off getting knocked of balance by the attacking antlion that still stood. The jaws heaving with excitement to make its kill. Shina didnt have time to reload. She would have to finish hand to hand combat once more she switched back to her blade allowing it to heat again.

The beast and her stood filled with tension as the attack was about to begin. She swung as it moved its pinchers, followed by a swift bite that scratched her armor almost making contact with vitals in her abdomen region. She doubled back just in time. Shine lunged forward hard stab into its mouth jaws open as they clamped down on her arms and machete, releasing her arms just in time the beast bit into the blade sending burns scoring its internals of it mouth. THe screeches were blood curtling and Shina stepped back watching it suffer of the hot blade as it destroyed the antlions mouth. She waited for her moment, on edge. and made her lunge for the blade withdrawing it downward dividing its jaw into 4 parts sending cotterized green internal ooze from the bodies mouth. She sent her final blow. A silent but murderous killshot underneath the beast into its throat.

Alerius cursed as she was thrown but didn't have time to check if she was okay as the bugs were on him like flies on shit and he had to move. He jump boosted to the nearest wall then boosted from there to cover half of the cavern In a Single jump. He landed in a roll and turned to release his final gauss round into the thrashing queen before swapping cylinders as he stood to run.

Several bugs were caught in the gauss rounds line of fire and had their upper halves all but evaporated from the impact as it blew through them to the queen. He breathed a sigh of relief when Artemis stood up and made her way Into the entrance. " Sorry for the rough treatment Major. I suppose it's better than being eaten though." He said trying to keep the mood light despite the swarm decending apon him. He fired off several rounds into the crowd. He had seven boosts left and had to make them count.

He skipped back a few steps as he popped a few rounds back into the cylinder, he was fast but the bugs were charging with reckless abandon. One managed to swipe him across the chest before getting a fist sized hole blown through its head, then Another clipping his shoulder before he boosted out. His feet connected to the wall with a sharp hiss before he boosted again covering most of the distance to the entrance. He landed in a roll and stopped in a kneel similar to a sprinter at the starting line before he boosted again as he took off in a dead sprint. Spraying rock and dust everywhere behind him. He closed the distance in half the time it would take a normal human and used a second boost to get into the hole with the rest. "Incoming!" He called as he tumbled into the tunnel having gone far too fast to stop with any sort of grace. Three boosts left more than he had hoped for.

Komodo moved out of the way to let Alerius pass then yelled, "Shina, let's go!" and continued to provide cover fire.

The moment everyone was in the tunnel, Komodo would tell Artemis to blow up the entrance to the chamber to stop the massive wave of antlions dead in its tracks.

BOOM

The whole tunnel was caving in. Komodo Rhino sprinted through the tunnels, dirt and debris falling on him. Artemis wasn't far ahead and had been running slow so that she could make sure they will all exit the tunnel together. In case someone got caught in the debris, she wanted to be there since she was the team's medic. That wasn't safe combat medic practice, but she didn't want anyone in her team to die.

She and Komodo burst out of the entrance and into the dump area of the Refinery followed by a cloud of dust and sand that exploded out of the hole from the pressure of the explosions of the rest of the bombs she set up.

"Robert," said Artemis, panting for breath, "me and Komodo are out safe and sound."

@Abdel featherfall, @tammynorthland, @CkSmalling

Shina followed the lasses orders and begun to move without hesitation her eyes marking weak points in the tunnels. Once artimis said they were going to collapse the tunnels it would be vital to pay attention to the parts that would collapse first. Much like how an avalanche worked. She boosted forward using her rocket prupulsion to help her move forward quickly catching up to the squad. The caverns were going down any minute. Behind her the hundred of antlions begun their full frontal attack for them invading their home. But once again.' Earth was always our home first.' Shina turned around emptying her last rounds ob the nearest antlion making it more pissed than it probably already was.

Boom

Shina sprinted forward as the earth behind them fell apart in the underground city that belonged to the bugs. The boulders and rock falling from the ceiling. They had to get out as soon as possible. Finally the tunnels collapsed on the refinery as they safely all made it out. Shina panted loudly into her mic. Adrenaline steaming her body and veins. She started to chuckle. Which eventually broke out into a laugh after artemises comment.

"Hahahahaha. Your right. We fucking made it guys!!!" She yelled happily and loudly showing a form of her personality outside of the warzones.

@Zer0 @CkSmalling @LocoBlock @Abdel featherfall

Alerius was right behind the rest as he sprinted at top speed out of the cave. Dust and debris falling everywhere already as the entire ground seemed to shudder from the explosions that collapsed the tunnels. He saw the light and pushed harder to run exploding out of the cave entrance with a trail of dust. He looked around to see Shina directly behind him and breathed a sigh of relief. " Gods above I hate the underground." He said with a chuckle and a huff as he tried to catch his breath.

There was significantly more blood on his suit from where he had been cut in multiple places than before. However it was hard to tell as all the blood had been caked black from the dust of the cave. He seemed okay and was perfectly coordinated and talking fine so the blood loss mush not be as bad as it looked. He looked ready to press on right now.

"One, two, three, and four," counted Artemis, relieved that everybody got out alright. "All of us made it, Robert, all of us made it." She felt reassured as she watched Shina laugh and Alerius still looking strong despite his injuries. Their two new squad members performed better than the average new recruit. They were going to fit in just fine.

"Let's rendezvous with Robert and Assassin Marmot." she told the team. "And let's have a look at that." she added, nodding at Alerius wounds.

Later that night, the squad couldn't return to motherbase because of the thunder and sand storm that raged outside. Artemis was resting in the control tower in her hanging cocoon tent, listening to music in an ancient walkman while eating some MRE's: sweet and sour synthetic chicken with some hot cocoa; Komodo was sweating under a control panel repairing the communications device of the tower. He had a very large burn scar that stretched across one arm and ended on his hand where his pinky and ring fingers were cybernetic prosthetics; while Assassin Marmot was guarding and patrolling on the stairs of the tower.

Robert was busy watching the carnage from a birds eye view from the drone. Those antlions were ripping each other to shreds. Blood was been sprayed to different directions. The action was non stop. He kept track of the his squadmates and when he saw the tunnel blow, his heart stopped beating. 'Oh God. They better not be dead.' He heard the sound of Artemis voice over the comms. A sigh of relief. 2 more to go. He heard Shina's voice. Another sigh of relief. And then he heard Alerius voice. Good all of them have survived. "Okay everyone, get back to base. A storm is brewing up." He check the drone camer feed for any surviving antlions. None. All have died either through the grenade pheromone or through the explosion. He smiled andoved to the queen. Dead. But just to make sure, he crashed the drone onto the Queens head. 'That should do it."

"Okay Assassin, everyone is alive. Lets go and welcome them." Assassin just smiled and joined him at the gates.

After a couple of hours, he joined Assassin as she kept guard. "Sorry there were no precious jewels in this mine. I still owe you a diamond necklace."

"Hahahahah there is no hurry. It not like i am going anywhere." Assassin said as she smiled. "There are no threats right now right?"

"Technically, no. The storm is a bitch but there is nothing we can do really. What do you have in mind?"

"I found a hidden room from the master plans, big enough for the two of us."

"Say no more."

(OOC: its cool. I still have to made some edits in my character. Will updatw you once i do. I will post in the main tab after church service. Wishing all of you a wonderful time.)

Once Alerius had been treated for his wounds and the caked blood-mud on his armor had been cleaned off he found his way to the floor near the control tower window. He had completely disassembled his revolver and was cleaning it with what complete familiarity. The gauss rounds each left a significant amount of buildup from just one round let alone three in a matter of hours. He had his cloak wrapped up like a pillow and his bedroll layed out under him while he worked. He hummed gently as he did some ancient song that was slow and melodic and would probably sound amazing on a flute.

He had kept his gauss shells and set to cleaning those as well for recharging later. He worked quietly and meticulously not seeming to ignore a single detail. He glanced up to Artemis listening to music for a moment and looked about ready to speak before thinking better of it and going back to reassembling his weapon once he had finished. He glanced to Shina as well then to Komodo. His new squad huh? That's a thought he could get used to.

                                SPECIAL OPERATIONS BRIEFING ROOM.

The call went out. It was a simple message sent to a select few Canines. Particularly to those who had been part of recent excursions out onto earth. The message was simple.

" New mission assignment:

Come to briefing room 203. Attendance is automatic mission acceptance.

Security level: Classified."

That was it, there was no sender as per usual with these sorts of things. Those that showed up would be met with a rather ordinary briefing room, however instead of the usual military higher up standing at the table, it was a rather mousy looking woman in a white lab coat and with what appeared to be glasses with a complicated holo display on the lenses. She didn't seem all that important nor did she seem particularly familiar. The only other person in the room was a uniformed male who stood in the corner with a datapad and said nothing.

 The room it's self was dimly lit with small monitors placed in front of every chair. It looked like it could have been a lecture hall under different circumstances. The chairs were rather stiff and the air had an unnatural chill as if someone had left the air conditioners on too long.

@tammynorthland @Zer0 @CkSmalling @Beowulf

Robert was doing what he always did best. Eat. He was at his favorite place in the district eating his own special meal which was dubbed the King special. The meal comprised of 2 double layered cheese burgers, a plate of bacon, a plate of fries and a 2 litre glass of milkshake. Since the advancement of technology, obesity and cancer were a thing of the past so he can eat anyhow he felt like. He felt his phone ring and he saw an urgent message from Aleruis. He accepted the invitation and put his phone back. He resumed his conversation with Stacey, his long time friend and owner of the diner. After he was done, he made his way to BR 203.

After a couple of minutes he was outside the door and when he got in, he was hit straight to the face by the dullness and coldness of the room. He approached Aleruis. "You know for a very advanced mothership, they are very stingy when it comes to furnishing Briefing rooms." He shook his hand and shook the professor who was very occupied. "So i got your message. Who are we killing this time? And it better be in a diamond mine or a gold mine..or a mine with any precious metals."

@Zer0  @Abdel featherfall  @tammynorthland  @Beowulf

Shina was in the east wing of the main canine HQ, she was currently drawing, something she enjoyed on her free time being an artist and all. Shina actually never even wanted to join the military of any sort let alone the canines, she was always felt that she had to by her parents though, she actually wanted to be an artist. But of course that means nothing anymore, art was a hobby for her now. She was alone in her quarters, she was almost done with a piece she had been working on for 3 weeks on and off with what time she did have thanks to the crimson canines insane work schedule.

Shina heard a ping, it came from her message board on her computer tablet, she picked it up seeing there was a classified mission debriefing that was supposed to take place. Apparently it wasnt going to be for everyone, no not at all in fact in this case it seemed she might have been picked for something more than just chance. She clicked delete, and glanced at her painting. Pausing in silence before snapping the charcoal pencil in her angry grip. "MOTHER FUCKING EVERYTIME" Shina yelled in her quarters tossing her pencil in her room. 'Fucking almost rather be homeless than deal with this shit' Shina thought to herself making her way to her e-closet. The clothing was selected on another tablet near the black and grey dresser which looked more like a big square computer, she selected her Canine uniform and held her arms out as it dressed her in the wrap on sealing subarmor suit, followed by her standard shoulder guards, and this time with a higher set of combat boots, considering it was classified, if it was on earth shed prefer to be wearing boots more uniformed for mud, snow, of water environments. If it was mech based, it wouldn't matter.

Shina made her way to the room opening the debriefing hall and sitting down.

"C.C. motherbase, Briefing Room 203"

A woman with light skin covered in fading scars, long ginger brown hair tied in a pony tail, and hazel eyes strode into the room. She was wearing a very clean, but battle-worn medic suit that looked like it had seen a lot of action in the field with its scratches, dents, and streaks of new metal where old or damaged portions had been replaced. She had an air of casual certainty, and the steady, well-opened eye of an officer whose usual lot was the leading of soldiers.

"Morning, ma'am. Major Artemis Romanov, reporting for duty." she saluted at the bespectacled lady.

After Artemis was relieved, she gave Robert a happy smile and a playful punch on the shoulder just the way old friends do as she passed him by. "Morning, Robert, you've got a bit of ketchup on your suit." she chuckled before taking a seat beside Shina whom she greeted with a sanguine, "Morning, Shina."

She wondered what this mission will be and who else was coming. She hoped their Japanese Amber Fox allies were coming, those people were good at surgical strike missions.

Ever since the Japanese faction struck an alliance with the U.S. after four titanic sea serpents code-named, "Leviathans", destroyed their first motherbase about three months ago, they had been sending soldiers and scientists from their new smaller motherbase in the Sol Mountain in the north to help with the Crimson Canines here in Lysaur Valley. One squad led by Major Akira Sora, a sniper whose forte was guerilla tactics, was their usual co-squad during missions. His team was composed of: Hikaru an upbeat lady medic with a shotgun-katana and a black wolf mech; Sai a happy anti-infantry lady soldier; Izaya, an arrogant white-haired youth who specialized in cyber sabotage; and Sandai, a tall man who was like the big brother of the group and was a mecha auxiliary trained to take down mechs without being inside one himself. There was one other soldier, Kitetsu, but he died during their first mission with the squad together.

Artemis would be glad if her usual teammates would be coming too. Komodo Rhino, the steady and reliable assault rifle-man; Grizzly Sloth, a rifleman too who was a bit slow in the head, but he was funny and dang can he cook; Assassin Marmot, Robert's girlfriend who was the grenadier of the team; or Panzer Dragon, their only squad member from the Intel Sector who carries a great sword chimaera that turns into a flamethrower.

@Abdel featherfall @CkSmalling  @tammynorthland

Alerius had been just walking out of that briefing room to greet the rest when Robert showed up. Following his questions he shook his head. " Nothing so grand I'm afraid. Feel free to take a seat the briefing will start once the others show up.. I agree needs to be warmer and less Dull." He said jabbing his thumb behind him at the seats to indicate where they were as if it wasn't completely obvious.

He'd greet the rest as they filed in from various parts of the base. Some understandably disgruntled. The majority of Hurricane Squad had gotten the invite. this included Komodo Rhino, Grizzly Sloth, Assassin, and Pannzer Dragon. Their attendance was up to them however they had recieved the invite as well.

The scientist at the front of the room would greet Artemis with a nod instead of a salute. " Good. Glad you're here. Please take a seat I'd like to get right to buiseness." And as soon as the majority of the squad had assembled. She did begin.

this mission will be a little different from up the ones you may be used to. " she turned and put a picture up on the board of a young man with shock white hair and electric blue eyes. " This is the only known photo of your target. The picture is about Thirty years out of date thanks to the Top Secret nature of his work. He hasn't changed too much despite this. He escaped our facilities about a month ago. We need him back preferably alive. Thankfully because of a chance encounter with one of our Cartographers we know where he is. This needs to be kept absolutely quiet. He has highly valuable Intel and we need to pick him up first."

She sighed and took her glasses off. " However if bringing him back proves impossible. Erase the problem. Locations and times will be provided when you depart. Any questions?" She leaned forward on the table. It was pretty standard that most questions would be disregarded or pushed aside when something like this comes up so she didn't expect to be saying anything particularly useful here.

@Zer0 @tammynorthland @CkSmalling @Beowulf

Shina glanced at the picture as the debriefing begun. The mission seemed to be pretty straight forward contain and bring back. But the catch in this scenario is that he needs to be alive, on top of that they were not telling them the reasoning behind what he did, why he was a threat, or more importantly what he wants to do with the information he holds in his head. Hell they didn't even mention if the mission would be on earth or on the star ships. The information was....relatively vague. Shina spoke up at her turn. "Question, by chance would you mind explaining what intel he contains that we would have to eliminate him if not able to bring him back?" Shina spoke clear and formal. Out of respect in the brief room.

"C.C. motherbase, Briefing Room 203"

Artemis waited until the lady finished answering Shina before asking her own. "What are his weapon proficiencies and skillset, ma'am? Does he have any allies or a mech? Will we be encountering organized enemy forces? Knowing the location before departing motherbase would be good too. We need time to gear up properly if we're going into a snowy mountain or a desert."

Grizzly Sloth and Assassin Marmot who had come in a bit late and were now sitting beside her also looked up in expectation for an answer. A target that can escape a military facility all by his lonesome wasn't someone you go after without any information. What was that war principle by Sun Tzu?

'If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat' , and Artemis was keen in preventing one of her teammates dying or paying an arm for victory.

"I was about to ask the same thing." Connor said, having been a bit to quiet for to long. "I don't want to meet someone that can dodge bullets and punch a mech without knowing it, and getting ready before hand." He was a little rusty, having not been on a mission in a bit. But how hard could it be? It was like riding a bike, you never forgot the important parts.

The woman gave a sigh, she looked absolutely tired from all of this. It was apparently an ongoing issue. That effected her entire division. After some time she spoke." All that I Can tell you is that he is a scientist. He has no combat skills and doesn't know how to pilot a mech let alone own one. As for how he escaped. That's classified. All I can say is he wasn't alone.. But we don't know who or.. What.. Was with him. As for what he knows, also classified. For location I'm turning it over to the scout who was with the cartographer team."

Alerius stepped up at this and took over the podium. " So the area we spotted some activity and made a visual identification in is a large city on the very edges of what we've got mapped. The air is considerably more toxic than normal in the northern half, due to the the wastelands extending from the northern edge of the city onward. However on the southern side we are approaching from it will be thick jungle. Which has adapted to purifying the air." He flipped up an image of the city from the jungle side. Massive green spires filled the horizon. Beyond, between the buildings could be seen an expanse of blackened crystalline obsidian wastelands. " The wastelands in question were glassed millions of years ago in some ancient war." He looked to the group. " I'll be coming with too so don't worry I got the mapping data."

With that he stepped down from the podium and handed the mic over. The screen went blank for a second before showing a spinning Crimson Canines logo. The scientist stepped back up. " That is all the information we can give you. Unless there are final questions. Briefing dismissed."

Robert smiled at the remark of Alerius and just went to take a seat. He met Artemis halfway and slightly punched her softly. They always did that when they met anywhere so it was like their greeting. He looked at his shirt and indeed there was a ketchup stain. "Artemis, after this mission i am asking you out. I will take you to my favorite joints in this base. Say no i will drag you there. You know i will." He smiled and went to greet the rest of the team. First it was Shina. He was yet to get acquinted with her. He said hi to Connor. The guy who never smiles. 'Why so serious?' He thought to himself. He sat down and the briefing began.

After a couple of minutes, Grizzly and Assassin walked in. Assadsin sat to his right and Grizzly to his left. He passed the photo to them. "During my recent encounters, i have learnt to never underestimate a scientist. One time i was sent to kill a Russian scientist amd turned out he learnt Ju Jitsu and had 3 black belts. Do not be surprised if whoever we are hunting knows defence..or has a mecha." He listened to the rest of the briefing until they were dismissed. He stood up and did their signatute greeting with Grizzly. "Glad you could make it brother." He turned to Assassin and gave her a very long kiss. "Hey babe. Took you long enough."

"Well a lady has to take her time to get prepared."

Robert took her hand and spinned her 180 degrees. "I agree. Totally worth the wait."

(OOC: Sorry for the late reply. I ran out of data yesterday and i received them this morning.)

Shina stood up at the moment of debriefing, she glanced over at the woman named Assassin. Then off to Grizzly. she never worked with them before but from what she heard they were grand warriors on the battlefield. The mission seemed very vague a little to vague for her to be comfortable with it. Shina slowly made her way to the exit where she glanced behind. She noticed Robert talking to Artemis, another warrior Shina fought side by side with in the past. Shina knew her combat style, her planning, how she played her roles. Shina decided this mission would be a great oppurtunity for her to begin to advance herself as well as gain reputation among the Canines.

"Lets get going guys." She said then noted to all the others that time was not worth wasting at this time.

Great, a man broke out of a military prison and they didn't know how he did it. Well, beside that he had help from an outside party. "I'll be getting my gear and warming the Rook up. You'll know where to find me if you need me." Connor said as he got up and left the briefing room. He wasn't paid enough to make plans with what they were given. Hell, in his opinion he was barely payed enough as it was. Perhaps he should find a girl, get his mind off of stuff like this for a bit not a co-worker, like what Assassin and Robert had. If shit hit the fan, it would really hit the fan.

Artemis stood up and told Robert she'd be happy to go eat somewhere, but they better take Assassin or she'll misunderstand. Might want to bring Grizzly Sloth, Komodo, and some of the new team members too for a really fun time.

She then spent the remaining time they have left preparing for the mission, and thirty minutes before their departure, she was in Mecha Hangar 18 with a cup of coffee and a sandwich, waiting for the rest of the team to arrive. Her Dynasty Scarab was all stocked and ready to go.

Alerius nodded to the rest as he headed out to prepare his Slepnir for ground deployment. He nodded to the rest on his way out before breaking into a Jog to his hangar in the R&D department. Prototype Mechs needed lots of attention when docked.

Overall, the weather forecast was clear and stable. The prepared leave time would put everybody leaving at midnight to allow them to reach their destination by early mornings first light. The prepared hangar for them to deploy from was surprisingly quiet. Normally an operation like this would cause more of a commotion but it all seems to have been kept rather quiet. Even the hangar lights were only on where they needed to be. Definitely an operation the Brass wanted kept on the Down low. All operation logs simply pointed to an exploratory mission.

As as soon as midnight rolled around the hangar doors opened. " Mission is a go. There will be little to no live feeds and you'll be too far out for immediate support. Good luck and be careful." Said a voice through their comms. Likely the mission overseer. The night sky was brilliantly clear, with the moon full. Wind was almost nothing. All conditions seemed optimal.

Sihna made her way back to her quarters to get everything in check, her outfit would stay and it was more than likely they would be in a mech or a detoxicity suit unless the air was ok to breathe in the area they would be in. Shina examined the SMG she had for the ground fight. She begun inspecting it making sure everything was in functioning order. From opening the chamber to greasing the clips she had and to making sure its transition in a machete was fluid. The SMG had a high fire rate, and when she was on the ground for some misions she was usually given permission for sniper shot use. But this mission she did not recieve that protocol, the location they would be going it just did not seem functional as compared to a full auto rifle, and in her mech she still had the 805 to shoot with along with the Titan for back up. Shina Departed from the room, making sure she placed 2 Thermal bioptics and 1 Tracking optic in her M.O.L.L.E.

"C.C. motherbase, Rendezvous Point"

After uploading the map of the area and the mission detail into her suit, passing the information to the rest of the team, and creating a wireless link to everyone's suits so that her team's vital signs showed up in her H.U.D., Atemis' Dynasty Scarab stomped out of its docking bay, followed by the Goliaths of Grizzly Sloth and Assassin Marmot. The three mechs had a quick make-over a few hours ago while the engineers were installing the chassis and armament parts they chose for this mission. They were now in pixelated jungle camouflage, just like the suits of their pilots. Artemis didn't like the new smell, she may have to roll on some mud and rub on some plants just to get rid of it when they got to the jungle.

When they had the all clear, the three mechs launched into the cool night sky. The combat medic flipped on her thermals and checked the pulse rates of her two comrades in her H.U.D., they were high, excited for the mission ahead, just like hers.

(OOC: @Abdel featherfall, I'll repair Assassin Marmot and Grizzly Sloth's CS today. Also, don't know if this is going to mess with the plot, but mechs by default have a life detector (suits don't have this). They can detect medium creatures like humans or bigger within a one mile radius in good weather. They can't detect titans, nor small creatures. These creatures are symbolized as  brown dots of various sizes in the map, while friendlies in suits are marked as green arrows, and friendlies in mechs are in bigger blue arrows. You can change this if you like, though people can always just carry a signal jammer so that they don't show up. This detector cannot detect enemy mechs.)

Robert was caughy off guard by Shina's comment. He just smiled and continued kissing her. After a while, they split up. Robert had to pass through his old friend, Joseph, his gun mechanic. After wondering a while in the market place, he buzzed an unmarked door and was let in. He saw Joseph deep in work fixing another weapon.

"You better not be cheating on me Joseph. You know how i react to such things."

"Hahahaha" Joseph said as he looked up "I would never think of cheating on you. I love my throat too much. Welcome Robert."

"Thanks for taking the time. It means alot to me"

"Thank you for saving me from the Mafia. Though you went overboard with that."

"They were dicks. So i assume you made the modifications i requested. I hope the metal i brought was sufficient."

"Sufficient? It was more than enough. So i made the smart bullets. Still a work in progress but i made a full magazine. They go hand in hand with this." He handed Robert a head visor.".. still don't know why you need it cause you are so goddam skilled. Also modified the sights and weight distribution. There are a few modifications i did not start cause of time but once you are back, leave it with me and i will finish it."

"Sounds good. And i will have to rename it. To make it officially mine. That will be done later." He picked up the Russian sniper rifle and the smart bullets. "See you around like a donut brother"

"You do know that quote sucks right?"

He stepped out of the shop and went to the hanger bay.

After a couple of minutes, he climbed his mecha, the Dominatrix, and took to the skies.

"Goodmorning Alice. How are you this fine day?"

"Goodmorning sir. The weather today is clear skies with no chance of rain. And to answer you, i am fine thank you"

"Beautiful to hear." He joined Artemis, Assassin and Grizzly.

"Hey Grizzly, race you to the peak of that small hill 7 miles south. You in?"
