Underappreciated
It's not your fault you were born this way:
Abnormal. Freak. Different. Snatched from your mother's arms the minute you were the born. The world laughed, and you stood silently, suffering. You kept on telling yourself, they are laughing at me because they fear me. Yet deep down, you knew it to be true: you were not meant to be.
But you've been patient, and you've been waiting. You have been training your mind and your body for what seemed like all eternity, for this very moment. The chance to prove to the world, once and for all, that you are so much more than how the world perceives you. The chance to prove that you are human.
Spoiler: This RP is not gonna be a Lady Gaga lyric breakdown.
Whew. That took time. So. Hello there, lovely human (or otherwise). Thank you for voluntarily or involuntarily stumbling upon my RP. Either way, I'm grateful.
I should probably tell you what this RP is about. So here's the deal:
Your character is an abnormal in a society full of normals. By abnormal, I mean they have a certain ability or power. So basically, when your characters were born, they were taken away and deported to a medical facility, where they spent their lives in isolation. The government told the rest of the world that doctors in this medical facility were trying to ridden these powers from them by torturing them. However, that is not true. They were being trained by a group of specialists in white masks to reach the full potential of your ability. They had knowledge of the outside world only through what you chose to learn. they were being given better food than the 90% of the starving world.
The truth of the matter is, scientists have discovered the existence of another race of humans, which have been going about killing the homo sapiens for hundreds of years. Scientists coined them as "diseases" or "natural disaster" but now they know better. This race will be the cause of human extinction.
So they created models, replicating what scientists currently knew of this race's DNA structure. At the same time, the government picked out children who may be capable of fighting these models.
Your character is one of those children.
This experiment, under the false of name of a "competition," will determine which ability can be best suited to fight this new species. Your character will be put in an arena, where the environment changes every day, along with other like them. They will have to kill these models. The one who kills the most, wins, and it's body will the next blueprint of the new and improved version of the human race.
(Bear in mind, plot twists are about to go down)
