Personality: Jacob a positive guy who almost always seems quite cheerful. It’s rare to see him without a smile on his face. Some might describe it as brave, others as stupid, but he believes in facing his problems head on, and he won’t hesitate to do so. He can be quite charming, and he enjoys flirting. He’s also tends to be quite energetic which tends to make him annoying to his more grounded classmates. Jacob is also a risk taker, and he can be a bit arrogant at times. By overestimating his own abilities, he sometimes finds himself in sticky situations. Despite this, he is surprisingly intelligent, and he can often find clever ways to get out of the mess he caused. Though he likes to goof around and party, he’s also a hard worker, and he does his best to live up to his family’s name.

Background: The Blum family is a decently well known family of heroes. A descendent of German immigrants, Jacob’s grandfather was one of the original heroes that helped lead the US into the Era of Light. His father even partook in a small part of it as well before making his name as a regular hero. Naturally, Jacob was born to high expectations. It didn’t help that he was the second born with an extremely successful older brother. With a powerful quirk and an advanced intellect, his brother whizzed through his courses. He became one of the youngest heroes in America, and he was definitely amongst the more popular ones. Jacob quickly found that he couldn’t make it over the hurdles his elder brother had left behind. Stuck in his brother’s shadow, Jacob felt it was useless to try to surpass his sibling, so instead he rebelled. Jacob became a troublemaker in and out of school, and he freely used his powers, to the bane of local authorities. If it wasn’t for his family name, Jacob might not have been eligible to become a hero. He found that he enjoyed this lifestyle. Doing whatever you wanted without caring what others think was fun for him, but then recently everything changed. Jacob’s older brother was killed under mysterious circumstances during a villain encounter leaving Jack as the oldest heir of the Blum family (the only other one being his younger sister who was still in elementary school). It was then that Jack decide to become serious about his studies both to save his family more grief and to honor his brother. After intensive studying, Jack scored on the higher end of the spectrum on the exam. While he was no genius, his score proved that he was quite smart.

Quirk: Turbine: Jacob has five built in turbines on his person. There’s one on each of his palms and one on his chest. On the back of each shoulder at about the shoulder blade, there’s rectangular metal boxes with turbines on the bottom of them. When powered up, the turbines on his back allow him to fly similarly to a jetpack but with wind propulsion. By making the propellers spin at an incredibly high rate of speed, the turbines can be used to fire jets/ blasts of wind. These jets of wind have a bludgeoning impact on the target, and, depending on the size, can even blow the target away or knock it over. When reversed, the turbines can produce a suction effect. However, this can be risky as if anything particularly sticky, durable, or destructive is sucked into a turbine it can stall or damage it. The other downside is that, when creating particularly powerful blasts of wind or when there is prolonged use of a turbine, they can overheat. This will cause the turbine to stall out until it cools down. While Jacob can push himself farther if he so chooses, doing so risk severe burns and damage to turbines (which would have to be fixed before it could perform at 100% again).

Robert is a shy young man with a strong sense of justice, even if he's a bit too hesitant to confront evildoers directly. He is very gullible and tends to take people's words at face value making it easy for others to manipulate him. He secretly craves attention and recognition for his good deeds but is much too shy to admit it. Robert joined the hero program because he wanted to conquer his fears and prove to everyone that he had what it takes to be a real hero. He doesn't like to brag about his quirk or even bring it up as he thinks of it as rather lame compared to the others in his class. Still he makes the best of it and faces every day like a new adventure.

Background:
Robert comes from your average small middle class family. His mother Sarah works as a nurse while his father Gabriel is a payroll manager for a local grocery chain. Finances were never tight though they didn't exactly have money to blow through willy-nilly. After discovering his quirk around the age of six by absorbing his nightly bath, Robert spent the rest of his life being told that his quirk was useless and dumb. Wishing to show everyone that he could be useful Robert enrolled in the hero course at Sierra Hero Academy, expecting to be brushed off like most of the other applicants. Much to his surprise he did quite well on the written exam and even managed to pull a decent place(28th) in the practical exam thanks to a destroyed fountain and a small opening in the robot's armor under the chin. He lives with his parents inside the city limits.

Quirk:

Robert's quirk has given his body the qualities of a sponge, allowing him to absorb liquids and store them in his skin. Storing too much causes his body to swell, making him much larger until he releases the excess. When pressure is applied to a part of his body Robert can release the liquid stored inside his skin, the force and shape of which depends on how the pressure is applied. For example squeezing his wrist will shoot a pressurized blast from his hand while getting hugged will cause it to ooze from his pores all over his body.
This spongy body is also quite squishy and makes him very resistant to blunt force as the weapon or fist sinks harmlessly into his form like a mattress. Piercing and slashing weapons hurt him like normal though.
Finally, Robert possesses a remarkable natural regeneration, letting him heal light wounds in fifteen minutes, heavy wounds in a few hours, and even lost limbs in a few days. Because of the time it takes to complete it is not suitable for combat purposes and is usually only used for patching up afterwards.​

PERSONALITY
The appearance of a sweet, loving girl that wouldn't dare hurt a fly but in reality, Aria is cunning and lacks remorse for others. Her past had bought her up to be quite cold seeing the idea of 'heroes' as a joke despite herself attending one of the most prestigious hero schools in the world. She mainly has no interest in becoming a hero but this does not mean she has any desires to be a villain either. She does believe in righteousness but she does not see the need for someone to become a 'hero' to do good in the world. On the outside, she carries a cordial persona but she isn't afraid to bite if she must. She is cruel enough to use others for her own ulterior motives and is hard to understand behind her innocent facade.

While she is cruel, under all the hatred she holds, Aria is just someone hurting inside and scared to trust others. She fears betrayal and hates liars. She is just not sure who she can trust and feels herself being cornered by the world. She does want to make friends and let go of her grudges but it is hard for her to do especially since it would mean she was giving up on her main goal to avenge her father. She values family very much and will do anything to save her father's reputation even if she may as well become a villain herself.

BACKGROUND
Both of Aria's parents had quirks but were not heroes. They were just your everyday, hard-working parents that were just a little different from others. Her parents did not see the need to go around wearing spandex and proclaiming their heroic deeds. Instead, they believed that as long as you have a big heart with a strong desire to aid others, you did not need a fancy cape to be called a 'hero'. This was how Aria grew up with and took these teachings all her life. She once admired superheroes and wished to become one like any young child but that all changed when her father was wrongly accused of being a villain. It all happened on a normal day where her father was trying to help a civilian from the clutches of a villain. Little did her father know, the villain somehow was able to manipulate her father into almost murdering the poor civilian until a hero came onto the scene and stopped him before it happened. Her father was able to snap out of his mind only to forget what he was doing besides the fact he was trying to help the civilian.

Her father had pleaded his life that he was innocent but the egoistic hero ignored him and shrugged off his reasons while looking at the cameras with the brilliant smiles that heroes would give to show their victory. From witnessing her own father being hauled to prison and wrongly claimed a 'villain', something snapped in Aria. A frigid emotion boiled and everything she believed in about heroes became a lie. With a father in jail and having only her mother - and two baby brothers - Aria learned to hate superheroes. Egoistic people with quirks that looked down on others, this was how Aria preceded heroes and made it her goal to wipe out these types of heroes. She will make it known to the whole world that 'superheroes' are a big joke and were nothing more than ignorant fools. The only way Aria could achieve this goal was to become a 'hero' and enroll into Sierra Academy where she will come on top and overthrow how the world precede the ideal of 'heroes'.

With her intelligence, Aria was able to enroll into the school without any problems and passed both exams with flying colors. With her first obstacle down, Aria was slowly making progress to avenge her father and achieve her goal.

QUIRK............. dragon's breath
The ability to manipulate smoke that she can produce with the food she digests. Her organs are very modified to withstand the intense heat she creates inside, similar to how people believe dragons to breathe fire, and the poison in her smoke. When in battle, smoke will flow out of her mouth as well as on her hands. Her hands are the only part of her body that can handle the heat and will transform into the appearance of her hands being ember. This heat she produce is very lethal which is why her hero costume is created to protect others from her quirk. With one touch, she could give someone something greater than a fourth-degree burn. To add on, her smoke is not something for show. Breathing it in could do some serious harm to the respiratory organs which is why it is best to keep out of her way when she is fighting. Her quirk does deal with gases but she can only inhale her own. Other gases can't seriously harm her but can affect her senses and if she inhales too much, it could cause some damage.

Aria fights by changing the density of her smoke to cause physical damage and can take forms such as an object or person. It is still a gas so it can't hold it's form for long and it also depends on Aria's hunger. Using her quirk a lot takes a toll on her to become ravenous after and lose strength to fight or even move. She needs food in order to continue fighting or she'll be out of gas. She can't make herself be smoke but she can hide in it. If she has enough energy (food), she can envelope herself in smoke to hide. (More information on smoke attacks here.)

PERSONALITY
A flamboyant bird whisperer who wishes to erase his reputation as a villain's son. Anan is just your typical fanboy who aspires to become a hero and be seen as someone who does not fail. He can be a bit naive and still has a lot to learn of to become a hero. He has a very strong will to fight in the name of good but also a stubborn head to do reckless things. He can be a problem child but when he's not going around being 'Commando Justice' everywhere, he is a fun-loving boy who enjoys having company. He is very loyal to those he call as 'friends' and is someone you can trust despite his immature habits. When it comes to a challenge, Anan was born to compete and can be very competitive. He is not aggressive but he dislikes losing and will put his all to win. It doesn't matter if it's just a game or a battle, it's game over if he loses.

Anan is not your type of person who likes to study. Honestly, it's amazing how he managed to pass the written exam without jumping out the window. He has no brain for words but when it comes to combat, he's your guy. He fights head-on and doesn't plan out his tactics. He just simply follows his instincts and is very agile. He has quick reflexes and great endurance plus, with his small height he could easily dodge attacks (if he doesn't fool around too much). At times, Anan will get cocky in a fight and provoke others to the point he'll regret it later. Overall, he is a growing boy who hopes to achieve his childhood dreams.

BACKGROUND
Not many know of Anan's secret besides the Headmaster and a few faculty staffs but it is record that he is the son of an infamous villain that was once a part of the "Age of Failure" before Anan was born. As a child, Anan never knew what his father was like or how he looked because the man had already left them behind with no desire to claim such 'taxing' responsibilities. Without his father, Anan had his quirkless mother raise him along with a few relatives dropping by to help. The man who was suppose to be his father was never there for them and honestly, Anan was okay with that. If that man actually did stay, Anan wasn't sure if his brain would still be intact. The only one who truly felt like a father figure to him was his uncle (his mother's brother) who took it upon himself to discipline Anan in his father's stead. His uncle may be a Quirkless, but he taught Anan the importance of protecting others who were in need of help and not hurt those without quirks because it would only make him look like a coward.

Under his uncle's teaching, Anan learned how to control his quirk and form morals for himself. Along the way, he became addicted to the idea of becoming a hero that people could look up to. With his days filled with action and capes, Anan was obsess with the idea to save people in the name of good. With this simple mindset, Anan went straight for Sierra Academy to take their hero course. With surprising luck to pass the written exam and nailing the practical exam, Anan was well on his way to becoming the 'best' hero known in the world.

QUIRK............. crystal sweat
The user is able to crystallize their own sweat, or tears, and manipulate it as they see fit. They can only control their own bodily fluid and harden it at will. With this ability, Anan can refine the crystal substance to take any form he desire depending on the sufficient minerals in his body and time given to him. There are many ways Anan can use his quirk and even if a crystal is out of his reach, he can control it as long as its his own crystal. There are times his quirk can subconsciously activate mostly during times he is feeling embarrassed or distressed. When this happens, his body will crystallize slowly a part of his body until he calms down or becomes a human crystal.

Appearance: Its hard to determine rather Seanie hiromi is a male or a female do to their androgynous appearance in their default style. To avoid gender wars you can adresss them whatever you want.

Seanie's normal style is dark purple hair that reaches the back of their neck. They also have black streaks at the top of their forehead. In seanies alternate style which he uses under the name Minx his hair is black, and the streaks are pink.

As a half ghost they wear a purple and pink skirt that stops at the end of the middle of their thighs. A magenta corset with white stripes, as a white P symbol on the shirt which stands for phantom. Thigh high boots with pink soles, and a violet pink skirt that stops at their feet.

Personality:
Seanie is a shy, and nervous person when they're not familiar with the environment or when he's around people he doesn't know. Seanie is a good socialized person when he feels comfortable to talk to others that he doesn't know in order to make friends. He's quite secretive including about his powers from the outside world. He is mostly mistaken as a female, though he never denies it despite being a male, which is also one of his secrets.

Seanie can be arrogant and, stubborn at most times which can be difficult during team built activities. When he's not worrying about others wanting to know too much about him, he's very kind and, easygoing when they want to be. Seanie is a little narcissistic, and can't handle much of things and, often need assistance.



Background: Seanies family have always been a big bag full of super hero's doing super things at one point in time. As a person with identity issues because, of how they were born. The question came about.

What exactly are they? Are they a boy? Are they a girl? This question was a hot topic. Their mother had choose to give Seanie the freedom to be whatever they want to be, male or female. Seanie has a thing for comics and, always looked up to some of their favorite hero's. Sometimes he believes the hero business seems too much of a drag.

His father persuades his son/daughter to be whoever they want to be. Lectures wasn't much of a thing they liked about, but the idea seemed interesting and, easy enough. During the time they was 14, when their parents were gone for a bit.

Seanie did some snooping around until he didn't pay attention where he was going so he ended up hitting his head on the wall, by their mothers room. A hidden door was revealed. It didn't take long for them to figure out how to get in, as only members of the hiromi family can enter, though he wasn't aware that the door was ever there or their parents never told him about it.

After doing some exploring he stumbled upon a fancy box, after he openned the box. A pink collar was seen glowing, reacting to Seanie presences. It then attached itself to Seanie, trying to fight it off but it was no use.

After it was completely on he then felt a weird feeling, suddenly a white ring appears from his waist as one went down to his feet and extended while the other went up to his head and, extended also. During that time he gained a new look.

This soon worn off in a few seconds. Seanie was completely surprised, as he took the collar and, quickly exists the room completely. He wanted to keep this a secret because he wasn't that much interested in the hero stuff. Despite being a comic book fan.

Seanie hasn't completely explored their parents hidden base, but when night came around he was able to do so. They still have the collar on, but it was invisible during the day. Before he could enter the door like a normal person, their body slipped through it some how. He was quite startled by it, but began focusing more on what's this collar for and, what benefits have.
Their questions soon got some answers, as they found a book that was white and black. So without a doubt he snuck the book back in the his room and, began to read it. He read the capabilities and the history about the collar.

The collar was found by his late grandfather and mother in an abandoned house, it seems like ghost where attracted to it and kept guard until they disturbed it. It wasn't an easy task, Seanie skimmed through it. The collar had belong to some famous ghost Hunter who was also part ghost.

When Seanie had put the collar on, the original attire drastically changed due to what Seanie wanted to be, a really girly boy. The original outfit was supposed to be just a black and white suit, but instead it was a skirt with many details added on. His powers indeed ghost like according to the book.

Quirk:
His quirk comes from the collar that he wears, which activates his ghost powers and, his ability to do what a ghost can do to a certain extent. His unique traits are going through objects, and buildings that aren't made up of steel or platinum. He can become invisible for a short period of time, giving him an advantage. He can also go into certain individuals, and take over for a brief moment, which is known as overshadowing. He has yet to actually use it, and will possibly perfect it in the future. Minx can use ectoplasmatic energy, or just ghost energy in short. He can use them for offense and, defense such as shooting blast of energy, generating a shield.

He can use things such as sword by converting energy. Their are some things that will effect him in a bad way. Loud noises can damage him, and force him back into his normal state. Anything that is harmful to ghost is harmful to him. Even in human state, he gets irritated by spiritual things that harms ghost/demons.

Sorry I've been a little absent this week. Had projects and family issues happening. I'll read through these in a sec. Though to be honest- I'm seeing a lot of traits/backstories that seem similar to the ones that I had already planned for my characters (I do plan to put them here, but I'm drawing their appearances) and it's putting me through a creativity crisis. Which I guess is also why I haven't posted my characters yet. ;-; But screw it. I'll have mine in later.

    Personality: Rowan prefers for everyone he meets to be direct, just like he is. Any situation or dilemma that he comes across will be managed with just plain and simple honesty. He isn't cool or collected when faced with pressure, but that doesn't mean that he breaks down at every sign of hardship. He's passionate, determined, and the type to focus on goals. He has great work ethic and commits to fulfilling duties that he's responsible for effectively and on time. Rowan's a bit of a stickler for rules, and enjoys learning new things about the world around him. But he could also be negatively known for being stubborn, judgmental, using people, and always unreasonably taking the blame for failures in responsibilities, even if it wasn't his doing.

    Background: His mother was the second daughter of Tarotnov family, whose great grandfather took part in the Era of Failure. Unfortunately, the Tarotnovs were one of the larger villain mobs during the time. After the heroes rebuilt their society, his mother gave up her family's roots and married a white winged vigilante. They were set to have a daughter the following year. During her pregnancy, her grandfather arrived to supposedly make amends. But he was furious- he hated his granddaughter and he absolutely did not want another girl to be the first born in the next generation. He got too close, and used his quirk on the developing baby. He was able to change the genetic makeup/appearance of living things, but it took a great deal of power and focus. He could only effect small animals, and the baby was just the right size. The grandfather died after using all his energy towards the baby, the damage irreversible. A few months later, the baby arrived. To the parents' horror, it was a boy with eight circles on his back, four on each side. Shortly after his birth, his father left to get his revenge against the head of the family, who stood by and watched it happen without a care in the world. He passed away after a failed attempt at killing his wife's father.
    He was raised in a small town, where most of the kids at school actually liked him. He did just fine with his mother and her twin sister, Vonne.
    Until his quirk, Widow's Legs, had manifested. For a few years, he spent time accepting his odd, not so flashy quirk. He celebrated his tenth birthday with just his mother. It was then that she decided to tell him everything- from his family history to the incident shortly after his birth. He was angry, confused, and most of all, sick with revenge. He wanted to complete his father's mission. He began to perfect his control of the quirk, and studied hard to get into an excellent middle school, brimming with students who wished to become heroes. Because of his extraordinary tactician skills and creative ways of using his quirk, he received quite a few recommendations and practically received a ride straight to Sierra Hero Academy. Some say the real reason of his acceptance into the institution had been because his aunt was a trusted member of the very staff that reviewed and selected him.
    Here, he plans to use the course in order to support his efforts in tracking down his grandfather. He doesn't see himself in a hero's shoes.
    Soon after Orion received the acceptance letter, Vonne had revealed that they were being financially supported by the Tarotnov family. All their wealth had been dirty and bloodied, but still money. He had no choice but to take a fraction for his school savings and live in a Tarotnov-owned apartment building with his aunt in Sierra. It is not known that he is related to the infamous crime family (he made sure of that when he changed his name). To ensure his enrollment, he took the practical and written exam. On the former, Rowan did an excellent job at destroying/disabling robots, and focused more on his own points rather than looking out for future peers. His written scores were more on the average side of things.

    • Rowan has eight holes on his back, that he prefers to keep covered, that hold retractable legs that greatly resemble a spider's. Each leg is black, thick, and surprisingly warm. Though it isn't metal- in fact, with a great force, you could break them. Doing that would bring a great deal of pain to Rowan, which is why his hero costume most emphasizes on defending himself. They can grow back, but it consumes a lot of energy and time.
    • All eight can stretch to twice his height. Like regular legs, if you run or walk for hours on end, it will tire him out and make the legs weary. If he let you touch them, you could feel his pulse within them.
    • These legs are solely for great offensive power. They are quick, extremely sharp at their ends, and he can bring out as many legs as he wants, stopping at eight.
    • The two legs at the top carry sensitive hairs that can detect specific vibrations. If he put one of those legs over your heart, he could be a human lie detector.
    • Rowan could use these legs to stab, steal, slice, climb, carry, throw, and jump long distances. It really depends on the situation that he's in to get a specific use out of them. Of course, he doesn't always use them to get out of dilemmas- he can fight without the legs.

    • Rowan's costume includes metal shields attached to his arms, legs, back, and chest. They are made of fire resistant, bulletproof, and waterproof metal. His boots have a special adhesive on the underside, which helps him stick to walls and ceilings. The jacket and pants are a style choice. The belt pouches on his waist contain simple medical supplies and candy.

Personality:
Honest and hardworking, Jensen Forbellow was content with what life gave him. Decent looks and persistent work-ethics mixed with his Father's endless plumber metaphors, he strives to be the best he can be. Jensen believes somebody that works hard will be rewarded somehow. He wants to make a few close friends at Sierra who won't make fun of his Quirk; openly lying about the name and calling it Center of the Universe. Using his fascination of flying and his Quirk's nature of being at the epicenter, he wants the hero name Tempest, but his toilet-like reputation from last year leads everyone to calling him Porcelain Paragon, to his displeasure.

Backstory:

Jensen lives with his mom and dad, coming from an honest working-man's living. With the guidance of his parents, he's grown up into a kind and honest young man hoping to be a hero. His father Gustav is a plumber with the quirk Spin, capable of turning objects in circles at varying speeds. In his shame, he resigned from the exam of the previous year. Yet after many pep-talks from his parents, he finally went back in the present year to enroll in the academy. Ending in the same results as the year before; he passed the exam in 19th place.

By cranking his arms with great force akin to the lever on a toilet, or the arms of a chicken, Jensen can initiate the use of his quirk. The activation itself requires focus, but once it begins he cannot stop the process until he is either knocked unconscious or is capable of cranking his arms a second time under the pressure. He cannot control the strength or duration of it otherwise.

Due to the nature of his quirk he can be fairly hesitant, however when he gets his moment to shine his confidence will not waver lest shattered.

Background: Kain was born from the union between a woman who's quirk was to secrete paralyzing toxin from her sweat, and his father who's quirk gave him draconic qualities such as a strong physique and the ability to breath fire. At age four his quirk manifested as the ability to breath the toxic gas, but unfortunately this lead up to a few students being paralyzed on the day his quirk manifested, forcing him to wear a mandated gas mask. Though the time has long past since he's been able to control it has come and gone, he continues to wear a gas mask as a constant reminder to himself to be careful with this potentially dangerous quirk he was gifted.

His father discouraged the young ten year old from trying, but it didn't stop Kain. He saw his father as the strongest man on earth, both as a leader to those who followed him, and as a man. He wanted to be like him, but he wanted to save people with less damage to the surroundings. That said, his quirk couldn't cause much damage to the immediate surroundings, but he still wanted to make a point of getting through his problems with as little damage done as possible. At the age of thirteen it became clear that through his hard work, he may actually have a shot at going to Sierra Academy. Upon this realization, his father sat with him and began to give him some hard lessons on what the hero world was like. How he may have to compete with other heroes to get pay, how villains often threaten the lives of civilians to have their demands met, and how every day may be akin to a dance with death. This didn't deter Kain, however, this did make him more determined to take extra precautions during his career. These lessons continued as Kain's father helped him understand his quirk to the best of his ability, and both he and his mother helped him in his studies.

After a few more years of hard study, Kain almost aced the written exam, however the practical exam was a little bit more difficult. Turns out, poisoning robots isn't exactly possible. Attempting to team up with other students would prove fruitless, as the competitive nature of the exam didn't support teamwork. Cursing himself, he made use of the environment as best he could, and managed to gain some hero points by carrying and escorting any injured to a safe zone. With that said, he truly had nothing he could use well against the robots, he got two lucky robot take downs, but one was a one point at the start, the second was a three point robot that he had taken out while its attention was on an injured hero. Thanks to the rescue points, he barely made the pass, however this proved to be a painful reminder that his quirk was a very niche one. In the wrong situation, he could be useless or worse, a liability. Keeping this in mind, he thought of a hero suit that would cover for his weaknesses a bit more. He still lacked power, but he knows he can't just walk up to a villain and breathe them away. He had to make up for what he lacked in power with utility. Since coming to the school he had made a good first impression by saving plenty of the students during the practical, however this was not based solely on the merit of being a hero like he thought it was. He knew he wouldn't outmatch all these other students, so well adept at fighting that these robots would be fodder. He thought he'd have to ride off of the results of his written exam with what few points he had, and maybe he'll earn a favor or two by saving some people. He had no idea that he was actually being graded for that in rescue points. He should expect such outrageous things from the school, and has taken note to try and embrace the bizarre and impractical, otherwise everything was going to surprise him.

Quirk: Nightshade toxin (Paralysis). A mixture of his mother's toxin and his father's fire-breathing abilities, he is able to breathe paralyzing toxic gas that quickly effect those who inhale it, as well as those on absorption through skin but not as swiftly. Upon taking several tests to confirm his quick, many of the traces in his toxin can be traced back to the nightshade flower, which despite the many variants of it, each carry paralytic qualities. The toxin moves as air would, but it does leave behind a clear smog, so it can double as a smoke-screen for Kain personally. He can inhale the gas, but this isn't entirely effective. Once the gas leaves his body it is out of his control lest he breathe it back in, which can be much easier said than done. His gas mask helps to nullify the gas he breathes, however he has full control of when he breathes the gas so it isn't entirely necessary. His sweat also secretes similar toxin, but it acts as normal sweat, so it will not secrete gas and will only work on people who's skin it touches directly, thusly trying to utilize this is impractical over his breath. He has also gained some of his father's strength at age ten, shortly after his father was crippled. This is not nearly to the same extent that his father owns, making him only slightly above average save for his strong legs, which are a standout. However this only truly serves to make him more athletic and flexible, and he would still be hard pressed to fight against personal augmentation type heroes. It's worth noting that the gas mask on him does indeed have the reverse filter to keep his gas in, instead of keeping the gas out.

The hero suit he designed carries a vacuum that leads back to his gas mask, which helps him manage his gas so that it does not cause unwanted damage. He carries empty smoke grenades, mines, and sensory bombs that are all empty until he breathes the poison into them through tubes connected to his mask. He can be selective about which grenade or bomb receives his gas, but once it is filled it is sealed off. That said, he must fill up the container fully before he can use the item he wants to use, or risk spreading the gas unrelentingly. His bombs have no explosive power, so the explosions themselves do no real damage save for perhaps disorient people with the loud bang, and pressure from release. His suit's final function is that it allows him to store some of his gas in containers just under his triceps, which he can use in tangent with the suit's mask to reverse the filter and unleash a large cloud of his toxin, acting as an emergency smoke screen or as a way of creating area of effect crowd control if he is caught on his own.

Personality: Donavan is a big ol jolly bold guy who prefers action over thinking too much about a situation. He is the kind of person who will allways try to have a smile on his face and will try to bring up the mood wherever he can. Donavan has a fear of anything thats marginally bigger than he and despite Donavan's inclination to action he is slow to act, not because he is thinking but purely because he is slow, he'll go at his own pace.
Background: Donavan comes from out of the country but came to america to enroll in SHA due to its prestigious rank amongst the hero acadamies on the entrance exam donavan did slightly above average on the practical exam just due to his strength and may have stood out due to his quirk. On the written, Donavan did almost perfect on the questions he answered but exceeded the given time limit and scored 0 on the remaining questions.

    I basically cheated and did a personality test for my characters. >.<

    Kliff is a true ambivert. He has no problems whatsoever during social situations and is always extremely nice and helpful to those around him. However, he has a tendency to not become close to other people, due to his preference for focusing on the things he loves to do

    Kliff is also extremely intelligent and extremely creative, as well as hardworking and ambitious. Once he sets his sights on doing something, he does whatever he can to do them. Kliff is very passionate towards all art forms, and believes anything can be art if you make it. His favorite things to do are paint, dance, sing, play an instrument, watch a musical, play video gaes, watch anime, read manga, read books, cooking, and a lot of other stuff.

    Despite his love for spreading the arts, which involves him getting in front of people all the time, as well as his dream to be a hero who can save everyone, including villains, Kliff doesn't like being the center of attention.

    Kliff believes that all people are good, even villains, and that sometimes everyone can just be misunderstood. Because of this, he tries to become acquainted with everyone, though there are only a few people who he considers best friends. Whenever he helps someone out, he always feels like he's on top of the world.

    Kliff has a tendency to jump from one thing to another in a second. He always has something on his mind, whether it's something deep and meaningful, something pratical and logical, or something downright silly. He is always coming up with new projects and spends all of his free time working on something. However, most of the times, he ends up starting something but not finishing it. Despite this, when he finds a long term project, he ALWAYS completes it if he plans on completing it.

    The few people he is close to can tell you that Kliff is extremely loyal, fun to be around, friendly, and helpful. To top it off, he's also funny and always making sure those he care about are okay. However, he does take a lot of things personally and is extremely hard on himself whenever he messes up. He also has a tendency to forget to do things because of how much his mind is racing, whether it's something small like brushing his teeth before going to bed, something important like forgetng to do his homework until the class period before it's due, and even some things that are extremely dangerous like looking both ways before crossing the street.

    Kliff is also a hopeless romantic. He is constantly daydreaming about the perfect one for him and because of his sexuality of demisexual, he has a hard time starting relationships with people, especially if he's not extremely close to them.

    Overall, Kliff is extremely hard to get to know but when you do get close to him, having him as a best friend is worth the trouble the process caused.

    Background


    Kliff is the son of two heroes, Captain B and Psion. Captain B had super strength and super speed and Psion had telekinesis and telepathy. As a young child, they both excouraged Kliff to always do his best and to understand that there is a reason for everything.

    Throughout his childhood, Kliff had always been surrounded by art, due to his father spending spending his free time painting and cooking, and his mother spending her free time singing, dancing, acting, and playing many instruments. Due to this, Kliff became just as attached to the arts as his parents and once he was old enough to hold a paint brush, hold a tune, move around without falling, handle a knife without cutting himself, pretend to be someone else, and read notes on a page, his parents started teaching him about everything they considered art.

    Wanting to make his parents proud, Kliff, once he started school, ALWAYS did his best. He spent his days during class paying attention and then when he got home, he immediately did his homework, and then he used his free time to practice what he learned from his parents.
    To the pleasant surprise of everyone, when Kliff's quirk manifested at age 8, it was revealed to be a quirk marriage, in a way. Kliff had telekinesis, telepathy, super speed, and super strength. However, there were a few catches (That will be explained in the Quirk Section below!).

    Overjoyed at his quirk, Kliff's parents began molding him into the hero they wanted him to be. Fortunately for him, Kliff wanted to be that hero as well. They started having him homeschooled and everyday, Kliff would do only 5 things : Eat, Learn, Practice using his quirk, Improve his skills, and sleep. Despite enjoying the lifestyle, Kliff longed to have friends and play, but unfortunately that didn't happen until his 11th birthday.

    One day, Kliff's parents left and never came back. Literally. Utterly confused on what happened, Kliff decided to ask around the town to see if anyone knew where they were at. Unfortunately, a city at night is no place for a kid, especially when they've never stepped a foot outside in about 3 years. During his mission to find his parents, he was trapped in an alley by a group of 3 men. They tried to kidnap but fortunately, Kliff had been used to his quirk long enough to be able to defeat them, though not with a scar along his chest due to the razor sharp claws of one of the thugs. Fortunately for Kliff, as he was stumbling out of the alley, a police officer found him, just before he passed out.

    Once he woke back up, Kliff was at a police station. He looked around and saw the officer who had found him before he blacked out. Once the officer had explained what happened, Kliff immediately thanked the man. However, once the officer mentioned that they'd make sure the thugs were given a harsh punishment, Kliff immediately tried to convince the man to not be too harsh, as the thugs were "just doing their job".

    Intrigued by the boy, the police officer decided to see what he could do to not be too harsh and decided to just give them 10 years in prison instead of 50. On a more related note, the police officer then asked what Kliff was doing out alone, and Kliff explained that he was looking for his parents, who had just dissappeared.

    After talking more about Kliff's story, the police officer decided to adopt Kliff for the time being and that he'd help Kliff find his biological parents.

    3 years later and Kliff has done many things. He's helped the police solve many crimes, he's written two books, a musical, more than 100 songs, and found out completely nothing about his parent's dissappearance. However, he has become extremely close to the officer who found him 3 years ago and sees him as a father as well.

    Kliff, wanting to keep the memory of his biological parents alive, decided that he wanted to be a hero and the police made a few calls and were able to scure Kliff a reccomendation spot into Sierrra Hero Academy, the closest hero academy to their home.

    What is Psenergy?

Sleeping, however, is usually out of the question due to Kliff's insomnia. Once he eats or sleeps, the amount of psenergy he has available increases. However, it is basically locked in a cage inside his body. However, when his vocal chords move, the psenergy leaves the "cage" and travels freely throughout his body. Once outside of the cage, the Psenergy increases Kliff's speed and strength, and also gives him the abilities of telekinesis and telepathy.


    Limitations - Psenergy

    1. The max amount of Psenergy Kliff can use is directly linked towards how much he ate recently. (Psenergy is similar to radioactive elements because it has a Half Life. It takes 10 minutes for half of whatever Psenergy Kliff has built up to disappear.) A 30 minute battle going full out would require Kliff to have eaten 10000 calories right before the battle starts.

    2. As soon as his vocal chords starts moving, the psenergy that has left the cage literally starts racing back towards the cage. It always moves faster back towards the cage then it doesn't leaving the cage (2X faster) (Ex. If it takes 4 seconds for Psenergy to leave the cage, it takes 2 seconds for Psenergy to return to the cage)

    Limitations on Abilities



    Super Strength

    The strongest he can become is 5X stronger than he already is. Mathematically, it would take him 3 minutes of nonstop usage of his vocal chords to reach this level.

    Also, changing methods of charging (Ex. Talking ---> Singing) in the midst of battle makes Kliff sicker and sicker each time he does it, though how sick is completely random, though it can range from a small cough to a deathly serious disease.

    I basically cheated and did a personality test for my characters. >.<

    Kliff is a true ambivert. He has no problems whatsoever during social situations and is always extremely nice and helpful to those around him. However, he has a tendency to not become close to other people, due to his preference for focusing on the things he loves to do

    Kliff is also extremely intelligent and extremely creative, as well as hardworking and ambitious. Once he sets his sights on doing something, he does whatever he can to do them. Kliff is very passionate towards all art forms, and believes anything can be art if you make it. His favorite things to do are paint, dance, sing, play an instrument, watch a musical, play video gaes, watch anime, read manga, read books, cooking, and a lot of other stuff.

    Despite his love for spreading the arts, which involves him getting in front of people all the time, as well as his dream to be a hero who can save everyone, including villains, Kliff doesn't like being the center of attention.

    Kliff believes that all people are good, even villains, and that sometimes everyone can just be misunderstood. Because of this, he tries to become acquainted with everyone, though there are only a few people who he considers best friends. Whenever he helps someone out, he always feels like he's on top of the world.

    Kliff has a tendency to jump from one thing to another in a second. He always has something on his mind, whether it's something deep and meaningful, something pratical and logical, or something downright silly. He is always coming up with new projects and spends all of his free time working on something. However, most of the times, he ends up starting something but not finishing it. Despite this, when he finds a long term project, he ALWAYS completes it if he plans on completing it.

    The few people he is close to can tell you that Kliff is extremely loyal, fun to be around, friendly, and helpful. To top it off, he's also funny and always making sure those he care about are okay. However, he does take a lot of things personally and is extremely hard on himself whenever he messes up. He also has a tendency to forget to do things because of how much his mind is racing, whether it's something small like brushing his teeth before going to bed, something important like forgetng to do his homework until the class period before it's due, and even some things that are extremely dangerous like looking both ways before crossing the street.

    Kliff is also a hopeless romantic. He is constantly daydreaming about the perfect one for him and because of his sexuality of demisexual, he has a hard time starting relationships with people, especially if he's not extremely close to them.

    Overall, Kliff is extremely hard to get to know but when you do get close to him, having him as a best friend is worth the trouble the process caused.

    Background


    Kliff is the son of two heroes, Captain B and Psion. Captain B had super strength and super speed and Psion had telekinesis and telepathy. As a young child, they both excouraged Kliff to always do his best and to understand that there is a reason for everything.

    Throughout his childhood, Kliff had always been surrounded by art, due to his father spending spending his free time painting and cooking, and his mother spending her free time singing, dancing, acting, and playing many instruments. Due to this, Kliff became just as attached to the arts as his parents and once he was old enough to hold a paint brush, hold a tune, move around without falling, handle a knife without cutting himself, pretend to be someone else, and read notes on a page, his parents started teaching him about everything they considered art.

    Wanting to make his parents proud, Kliff, once he started school, ALWAYS did his best. He spent his days during class paying attention and then when he got home, he immediately did his homework, and then he used his free time to practice what he learned from his parents.
    To the pleasant surprise of everyone, when Kliff's quirk manifested at age 8, it was revealed to be a quirk marriage, in a way. Kliff had telekinesis, telepathy, super speed, and super strength. However, there were a few catches (That will be explained in the Quirk Section below!).

    Overjoyed at his quirk, Kliff's parents began molding him into the hero they wanted him to be. Fortunately for him, Kliff wanted to be that hero as well. They started having him homeschooled and everyday, Kliff would do only 5 things : Eat, Learn, Practice using his quirk, Improve his skills, and sleep. Despite enjoying the lifestyle, Kliff longed to have friends and play, but unfortunately that didn't happen until his 11th birthday.

    One day, Kliff's parents left and never came back. Literally. Utterly confused on what happened, Kliff decided to ask around the town to see if anyone knew where they were at. Unfortunately, a city at night is no place for a kid, especially when they've never stepped a foot outside in about 3 years. During his mission to find his parents, he was trapped in an alley by a group of 3 men.     He has no hero name in mind, as he wishes to work as a secret weapon for a hero, and thus he doesn´t want fame or recognition, since it would go against his goal. So, in the end of the day, a hero name would be meaningless.

    Personality:
    doesn´t like to meddle, talkative and open, jokester, seeks purpose and to be useful, pervert, mature, efficient, soft-spoken : Yurei is a kindhearted, polite soul. He is quite soft-spoken and open-minded, rarely questioning if someone tells him they need something and sometimes even pondering about the motives of villains and how they might be right in some aspects. Nevertheless, his obedient tendencies and quest for purpose and fulfillment lead him to the path of a hero. It´s not like he hides his pondering or ceases to try bonding with people. He doesn´t like to hurt, though, nor put salt on wounds, so instead he makes a talkative jokester out of himself, more-so than his natural mature manly mind. He can typically be quite logical and efficient in his decisions, but get him near a woman and well... He´s very found of certain "assets".

    Background:
    Yurei had a pretty normal life until the age of 5, when his quirk first activated. It was a complete shock to find himself unable to revert to a human form, stuck in the form of a raincoat to help a friend of his that had forgotten hers. He ended up not going back to kindergarten for almost a year, while his parents tried to organize how he would even keep attending the school. A society of helping heroes, however, ended up showing up and devising a plan. which included the idea to train a dog to bring him around. In the meantime, teachers would take care of him. Surprisingly enough to him, he ended up getting pettied and actually managed to become quite popular. His power to strengthen quirks allowed many children to have a taste of how their powers would come to develop and even helped awaken some quirks that were late to bloom.
    As he moved on from those early stages of school, things got harder though. It was very hard to keep up with lessons with his lacking ability to take notes on a computer, the remnants of his former popularity made him the vitcim of bulying by getting locked in places, thrown in the garbage or even stolen and worn by bullies. But more than anything, it hurt when the teachers would forget of him entirely, making him feel like he wasn´t really a person anymore.
    One day, his class was attacked by a villain while they were on a field trip. The set the whole place ablaze, and came after the students. There was no coordenation among the students, which were using their quirks left and right hurting more each other than the villain. Yurei requested that his best friend wore him and together they tried fighting off the villain. However, they were still defeated. The villain took Yurei and wore him, defeating his teachers as well. That´s when Chimera, a certain bigshot in America, showed up. Using Yurei, the villain improved his body enhancement quirk and was even able to tank Chimera for a few moments, before being taken down. Chimera reassured everyone, but the damage to Yurei was done. He came to realize his own powerlessness more than ever. He gave up on that faint dream of becoming a great hero.
    He would always try to help people anyway, though. He focused on studying and learning so he could advise people. He hardly let people wear him anymore, that is until he found a particular secret one of his friends had and insisted in helping. He allowed himself to be worn again and together they went and tried to rescue his cousin from a small gang of villains. They did take out a few together, but once again, he was defeated. As a last resort, he used the trick that to this day he is still trying to use again, one that shapeshifted into him into his friend´s body and with which he defeated the leader of the gang as the opportunity rose, before reverting and passing out.
    He was again found and joined BnHA a couple years later with a special recommendation.

    Quirk:
    Symbiomorph- this quirk gives him the ability to establish a symbiotic connection with other living creatures, attacching to them and increasing their physical traits and even upgrading their quirks if they have any. Cannot increase intelligence though.While bound, the two can communicate telepathically and the user of this quirk can receive information from the other being depending on the strength of the symbiosis, allowing them to turn into anything the two can perceive as an outfit or armor. While generally speaking, the user cannot return to a human form, they can still use the changing outfit effect even without a wearer´s command. Still, they are always limited to but a few tingles away from the normal range of movement of an article of clothing.
    While not requiring much of nourishment, the quirk does not completely remove that need, and he is unable to consume anything except by soaking himself with it.
    If one part is separated by too much, they will loose their ability to shapeshfit. However, unless burned to ash or destroyed with acid the user of this quirk cannot die.

PERSONALITY
The appearance of a sweet, loving girl that wouldn't dare hurt a fly but in reality, Aria is cunning and lacks remorse for others. Her past had bought her up to be quite cold seeing the idea of 'heroes' as a joke despite herself attending one of the most prestigious hero schools in the world. She mainly has no interest in becoming a hero but this does not mean she has any desires to be a villain either. She does believe in righteousness but she does not see the need for someone to become a 'hero' to do good in the world. On the outside, she carries a cordial persona but she isn't afraid to bite if she must. She is cruel enough to use others for her own ulterior motives and is hard to understand behind her innocent facade.

While she is cruel, under all the hatred she holds, Aria is just someone hurting inside and scared to trust others. She fears betrayal and hates liars. She is just not sure who she can trust and feels herself being cornered by the world. She does want to make friends and let go of her grudges but it is hard for her to do especially since it would mean she was giving up on her main goal to avenge her father. She values family very much and will do anything to save her father's reputation even if she may as well become a villain herself.

BACKGROUND
Both of Aria's parents had quirks but were not heroes. They were just your everyday, hard-working parents that were just a little different from others. Her parents did not see the need to go around wearing spandex and proclaiming their heroic deeds. Instead, they believed that as long as you have a big heart with a strong desire to aid others, you did not need a fancy cape to be called a 'hero'. This was how Aria grew up with and took these teachings all her life. She once admired superheroes and wished to become one like any young child but that all changed when her father was wrongly accused of being a villain. It all happened on a normal day where her father was trying to help a civilian from the clutches of a villain. Little did her father know, the villain somehow was able to manipulate her father into almost murdering the poor civilian until a hero came onto the scene and stopped him before it happened. Her father was able to snap out of his mind only to forget what he was doing besides the fact he was trying to help the civilian.

Her father had pleaded his life that he was innocent but the egoistic hero ignored him and shrugged off his reasons while looking at the cameras with the brilliant smiles that heroes would give to show their victory. From witnessing her own father being hauled to prison and wrongly claimed a 'villain', something snapped in Aria. A frigid emotion boiled and everything she believed in about heroes became a lie. With a father in jail and having only her mother - and two baby brothers - Aria learned to hate superheroes. Egoistic people with quirks that looked down on others, this was how Aria preceded heroes and made it her goal to wipe out these types of heroes. She will make it known to the whole world that 'superheroes' are a big joke and were nothing more than ignorant fools. The only way Aria could achieve this goal was to become a 'hero' and enroll into Sierra Academy where she will come on top and overthrow how the world precede the ideal of 'heroes'.

With her intelligence, Aria was able to enroll into the school without any problems and passed both exams with flying colors. With her first obstacle down, Aria was slowly making progress to avenge her father and achieve her goal.

QUIRK............. dragon's breath
The ability to manipulate smoke that she can produce with the food she digests. Her organs are very modified to withstand the intense heat she creates inside, similar to how people believe dragons to breathe fire, and the poison in her smoke. When in battle, smoke will flow out of her mouth as well as on her hands. Her hands are the only part of her body that can handle the heat and will transform into the appearance of her hands being ember. This heat she produce is very lethal which is why her hero costume is created to protect others from her quirk. With one touch, she could give someone something greater than a fourth-degree burn. To add on, her smoke is not something for show. Breathing it in could do some serious harm to the respiratory organs which is why it is best to keep out of her way when she is fighting. Her quirk does deal with gases but she can only inhale her own. Other gases can't seriously harm her but can affect her senses and if she inhales too much, it could cause some damage.

Aria fights by changing the density of her smoke to cause physical damage and can take forms such as an object or person. It is still a gas so it can't hold it's form for long and it also depends on Aria's hunger. Using her quirk a lot takes a toll on her to become ravenous after and lose strength to fight or even move. She needs food in order to continue fighting or she'll be out of gas. She can't make herself be smoke but she can hide in it. If she has enough energy (food), she can envelope herself in smoke to hide. (More information on smoke attacks here.)

PERSONALITY
A flamboyant bird whisperer who wishes to erase his reputation as a villain's son. Anan is just your typical fanboy who aspires to become a hero and be seen as someone who does not fail. He can be a bit naive and still has a lot to learn of to become a hero. He has a very strong will to fight in the name of good but also a stubborn head to do reckless things. He can be a problem child but when he's not going around being 'Commando Justice' everywhere, he is a fun-loving boy who enjoys having company. He is very loyal to those he call as 'friends' and is someone you can trust despite his immature habits. When it comes to a challenge, Anan was born to compete and can be very competitive. He is not aggressive but he dislikes losing and will put his all to win. It doesn't matter if it's just a game or a battle, it's game over if he loses.

Anan is not your type of person who likes to study. Honestly, it's amazing how he managed to pass the written exam without jumping out the window. He has no brain for words but when it comes to combat, he's your guy. He fights head-on and doesn't plan out his tactics. He just simply follows his instincts and is very agile. He has quick reflexes and great endurance plus, with his small height he could easily dodge attacks (if he doesn't fool around too much). At times, Anan will get cocky in a fight and provoke others to the point he'll regret it later. Overall, he is a growing boy who hopes to achieve his childhood dreams.

BACKGROUND
Not many know of Anan's secret besides the Headmaster and a few faculty staffs but it is record that he is the son of an infamous villain that was once a part of the "Age of Failure" before Anan was born. As a child, Anan never knew what his father was like or how he looked because the man had already left them behind with no desire to claim such 'taxing' responsibilities. Without his father, Anan had his quirkless mother raise him along with a few relatives dropping by to help. The man who was suppose to be his father was never there for them and honestly, Anan was okay with that. If that man actually did stay, Anan wasn't sure if his brain would still be intact. The only one who truly felt like a father figure to him was his uncle (his mother's brother) who took it upon himself to discipline Anan in his father's stead. His uncle may be a Quirkless, but he taught Anan the importance of protecting others who were in need of help and not hurt those without quirks because it would only make him look like a coward.

Under his uncle's teaching, Anan learned how to control his quirk and form morals for himself. Along the way, he became addicted to the idea of becoming a hero that people could look up to. With his days filled with action and capes, Anan was obsess with the idea to save people in the name of good. With this simple mindset, Anan went straight for Sierra Academy to take their hero course. With surprising luck to pass the written exam and nailing the practical exam, Anan was well on his way to becoming the 'best' hero known in the world.

QUIRK............. crystal sweat
The user is able to crystallize their own sweat, or tears, and manipulate it as they see fit. They can only control their own bodily fluid and harden it at will. With this ability, Anan can refine the crystal substance to take any form he desire depending on the sufficient minerals in his body and time given to him. There are many ways Anan can use his quirk and even if a crystal is out of his reach, he can control it as long as its his own crystal. There are times his quirk can subconsciously activate mostly during times he is feeling embarrassed or distressed. When this happens, his body will crystallize slowly a part of his body until he calms down or becomes a human crystal.

She does what she thinks will make people laugh and thrives on other peoples' happiness, despairing when others get angry with her or become sad, particularly if it was via her own actions
Background: Bun did high average on the test thanks to the adaptability of her ability, the reason she decided to attend the academy was thanks to her upbringing. In an environment where pain was everywhere and tears were shed on a daily basis, her alone mother worked on the basis that if others where happy, she should be happy, and as such, she drilled that into her daughter's mind, making her a mother of sorts to her friends, always striving to help where she could.

Quirk: Bunny has the ability to create weapons at will and manipulate them around the battlefield, the wand is simply for show e.g. Summons sword and whisks it flying through the air.
She can manipulate them up to about 10 meters in range, and they would simply disappear after about 15 meters.
She has difficulty creating them under pressure, such as summoning them bent/broken
Bun tries to use them as more for a means of subduing her opponent rather than attacking as it is difficult to control them from range
She can summon up to a maximum of four at once, but has much more difficulty controlling more than two simultaneously (2 hands)
