Fantasy Blood Of Our Enemies (O/A)

Lou looked at David when he lit her cigarette but the only words that left her mouth were, "Thanks, I guess," She didn't say much else. Her mind was so focused on something. She didn't even realize how rude she was being until he left. Lou watched him leave and then looked down at the ground. She needed to get away. Away from all of Jonathan's drama...or Maybe she just needed a change of routine. She looked up and stared at the night sky. The moon was so bright almost full but not quite. Lou enjoyed nights like this, that cold crisp breeze and the bright sky above. Lou giggled to herself and pulled her notebook from her bag, also taking out a pen. She took the cap off with her mouth and held her cigarette in between her middle finger and pointer finger as she wrote with her left hand. She flipped to an empty page and wrote the words: 'The dark haired stranger'. Of course she was referring to Lucien. He was interesting, he definitely sparked some inspiration.

Jonathan had finished his discussion with the Mercenary and was just taking in the fresh air...but of course he got bored and went back inside of the bar. He made his way around the bar just chatting around with different people no one specific.

Ellie was still staring daggers at the man when she felt a tapping at her shoulder. She turned on the tips of her feet and looked at the man. He was holding her BSD. "Oh." She looked at his hand holding it for a second longer than necessary. "Thank you," she said while taking the glass full of slushy red goodness. "Very polite of you." She graced him with a smile all while still watching and waiting for the man's reply across from her.

David chuckled at her as he remained at her side just Incase if the man decides to act violent. His grip was tight onto the handle of the blade as he smirked lightly at Ellie. “ David Strotsky at your service~” he tried to reply in a somewhat noble tone but keeps his eye onto the man. He felt some sort of attraction to her but yet he has no idea yet that she is a vampire but he continues to sit around. He never previously has ever had “ contact” with a vampire before and never will unless he finds the one to trust. What he means by contact would be having your blood sucked by a vampire as his neck is pure and blood untainted. taliaangeni taliaangeni

Ridley turned at the hint of an Irish accent of a rather pretty woman, she would’ve been jealous if she wasn’t so full of herself as it was. She turned to the woman with a half-quirked smile and answered for John, “Everythings, fine doll, he was just leaving after failing to make his point.” She said casually, as if this was an ordinary day, she glanced back at John, unfazed. Yet her heart pounded ferociously inside her chest, as if it were about to leap out of her throat at a moments notice.

John ignored the Irish woman, keeping his heated glare on Ridley, for no women in his mind could possibly be a threat to him. Only when a man showed up, bringing the lady her drink did his gaze slide over the three like a salamander. He took a glance at the mans hand which lay on his weapon.

He pointed a fat thumb at Ridley, “This isn’t over. You’ll never last.” He hissed, taking a threatening step toward before his gaze slid back to the man and he stopped himself.

Ridley took the bourbon that was handed to her by the bartender and her gaze bite back at John before another smug grin quirked her mouth, “Sounds just like you, John. You never last.” Her tone was laced with amusement, knowing he could do no harm here. A woman nearby sputtered on her drink at Ridleys insult.

John’s fist clenched angrily, his face a deep shade of red, matching a turnip, before he abruptly turned and marched out of the bar, purposely bumping against the man with the weapon as he went by, kicking open the bar doors in a rage as he left. Ridley’s narrowed brown eyes watched him go, her face still holding a quirked smile.

David kept a close eye onto the man who was glaring at him. In the back of his mind he was thinking how many opportunities he had to end the man’s life. By the time that the man left and purposely bumped into him he pushed the man to the exit of the bar.

Once the man rudely exited the bar he finished counting “1172” he murmurs out loud. His eyes turn back to the woman with a plain neutral stare and tone “ please don’t make others mad intentional or else next time your on your own..” he knew by that tone of her voice that she was torturing the man wanting him to pounce on her practically and he wasn’t a big fan for those that torment or cause more drama. His grip was still on the Schaska as his eyes were fixated onto her. She was mildly pretty for a redhead but unless money is involved he has a good moral code

He turns his head back to Ellie and offers his hand to her “ would you care for a dance? The night is young and still full of excitement”. He smiles at her really wishing for a chance to get to know her more

Persephone Richmond

Hm. Persephone tilted her head, wondering if the words would look different on the page from a new angle. But no. She was still reading Twilight, and she still didn't understand the sparkling. How the hell were vampires supposed to sparkle? How the hell was anyone supposed to believe that about vampires? Why had she picked up this book?

Throwing it down onto her bed, Persephone leaned back in her chair and sighed over dramatically. "Sooooooo borrrrrrrred." Reading through all the fiction books related to vampires she could was exhausting, especially when half of them were beyond stupid. Persephone loved human literature, but sometimes she wondered how they could write such trash and still get paid for it. Oh, well. At least there were some authors who could pull off vampires correctly.

Flipping open her laptop, Persephone stared at the game she'd been playing--and yes, it had to do with vamps. Biting her lip, she flicked her eyes across the screen, taking in the details of the cafe apparently worked by vampires and the foolish human girl who'd decided to work there. Her eyes widened and she raised her head, a smile spreading across her face. La Noche! Well, it looked like she wouldn't have to be bored anymore.

Shutting her laptop and grabbing her jacket, she pounded out of her apartment (littered with books and assorted DVDs). Taking the stairs two at a time, she was nothing but a streak of blond hair as she zipped out of the building and toward La Noche. She didn't use her vampire speed, but she ran nonetheless, enjoying the feel of the wind in her air.

As soon as she reached La Noche, she pushed into the bar, breathing in the scent of--she coughed. Oh, right. She hated this smell. Sweat and booze were not a fun combination. The music, however, was positively divine. Instead of trying to pawn a drink off the bartender (according to human law, she was underage anyway), she took a seat in a corner closest to the door. Propping her combat boots on the table, she crossed her arms and smiled. She mostly came here to observe or sit around and listen to the music. Maybe she'd try to find a bite to eat if the overwhelming human presence got to her.

But for now, she'd wait. She closed her eyes and thought of flowers. (For no particular reason.)

Lucien

Getting lost in the hustle an bustle of the area, Lucien was lured onto the dance floor after he finished swallowing another harsh drink or two. The night seemed to carry itself at a steady pace. Shoving himself outside he groaned, a hand lifted to run through his dark locks of coal, reaching into the pocket of his leather jacket he pulled out a pack of cigarettes and proceeded to light onw as he moved to his motorcycle, taking a seat he inhaled the sweet smoke, exhaling heavily as he put his head back to look at the night sky. As he sat on the bikes cushioned leather seat his mind began to wander.

That striking human that had accompanied jonathan to the club, she was different.. A slight odd duck out of the group but that struck Luciens interest. The bright blues of Luc's eyes darted around the parking lot then toward the building. A single figure toward the back of the building caught his attention. Finishing the cigarette he then flicked the filter away, climbing off the bike he made his way to the unknown figure leaning against the building.

Upon getting a closer look he was surprised to see Lou. Folding his arms across his chest, all the while keeping his eyes on her he cleared his throat "Well I am surprised to still see you here, where did your friend wander off to? Has he gone to find a female match for you now?" A sly grin played on his facial features as he awaited her reaction.

As Lou was finishing up her cigarette a figure started walking towards her. She looked up instantly and flicked her cigarette away. It was Lucien. She couldn't help but smile. It wasn't a big smile but it was a short sweet smile. Lou gently shoved her notebook into her purse and adjusted her purse strap a bit as she spoke, "Hopefully he is busy. I hope he's not looking," She laughed softly and looked at Lucien. Her eyes narrowed softly and stared at him, "Why me? I saw quite a few other girls in there interested in you. Why'd you come talk to someone like...well me?" She crossed her arms and leaned on her left hip.

Lucien

Noticing the small, barely visible smile that played on her face as he approached, Luc chuckled lightly as she spoke, explaining that she was hoping he wasn't searching for trouble. Lucien was about to make a smart comment but her next set of words caught him off guard. Why her? Was she blind to her own beauty?

Lucien raised a brown an stepped closer to her, leaning against the side of the building an keeping his arms folded over his chest calmly "Lou.. You are a beauty woman.. I don't understand why you question my actions.." He then lets a small aimle curl on the outter corners of his lips "The other women in that room were simply intoxicated and acting like highschool children.. You are different and its not a bad thing" Lucien glanced over his shoulder as the club doors opened an slammed shut, two women stumbled down the stairs. One being familiar with Lucien had to grin and sneer as they walked by "Lucien I would have expected you to be inside where the party is.. Not out here with a simple human girl" A quick and sharp response that could cut through diamonds "Shes greater company than you were Charlotte, at least shes got a brain and knows how to talk an not just use her mouth for other sorts of activities.. I mean surely it isn't your fault that your brain can't process simple conversation" the thick british accent rolled off his tongue like melted butter as the woman curled her nose and stormed off without another word.

Lou watched him come closer and a soft blush coated her pale cheeks, "Thanks..." Her heart was fluttering softly. He was kind...but then again he was a vampire. Vampire guys were master manipulators. Well...in Jonathan's words they are. She watched the women and looked away from Lucien. She stepped back and leaned on the wall more. Lou got so frustrated with the woman who spoke with Lucien. Simple?! Lou's face started to get hot from irritation. She stared daggers at the woman and then her gaze softened as Lucien put her in her place. Lou giggled a bit as the woman stormed off, "...I... I should get going. I have studying to do and I have class in the morning so..." She looked at Lucien. She wanted him to give her a reason to stay but at the same time she didn't want him to say anything but maybe a goodbye. Lou turned and started to walk off. She could hear Jonathan in the back of her head shouting, 'Go home with him!' 'Kiss him!', things that made Lou nervous.
