IndigoBlood
Pursuer of Nightmares
"I was prepared for the end of the world. That was never in doubt. But this...this is something else."
Death is supposed to be a certainty. It means the end of life, the moment in which your existence ceases. Nobody know what comes after death, but it is certain that death is where life stops. It is one of the most basic and fundamental concepts in existence, the end of life. It is certain.
Or is it?
What if death wasn't certain? What if it was just a minor setback, a bump in the road? What if you died, but then you came back? As something stronger, something faster, something more? Something no longer human, no longer capable of feeling emotion or having judgement. A monster. A zombie. Nothing but a corpse, and yet living. Thinking. Moving. Overtaken by the most animal instinct, the most primal need, the most basic concept.
