Name: Nico Costello

Age: 100

Gender: Male

Species: Demon

Deity they worship: Lilith

World Origin: Pits of Pandia

History: [Placeholder]

Personality:

Nico comes off as cold. He tends to snap at people who annoys him and he seems to be easily annoyed. He has a sharp tongue and is quick to give nasty retorts and insults. He like music and drawing, he's always found with his head in a book or sketching something. He is quick to shut someone down. He likes to live in his own little world. He likes to talk to others and has a witty and sarcastic attitude. His sarcasm is mostly blunt and snarky. He is bitter and resentful, he would turn on you in in a heartbeat if it was for his own personal gain. He doesn't care about you or anyone a associated with you, he only cares about himself. He is purely sadistic and cruel, he has a darkness in his heart, as most demons do. He is fiercely loyal to his Mother Lilith.

Other: He is always wearing his panda hat. Despite in the picture, he has rows of sharp teeth. He doesn't even bother to go into human form, he thinks that "Stooping to their level of lowliness is disgusting"

Name: Aeradom Isilya Draconis (Or Aeros for Short)

Age: 12

Gender: Boy

Species: Angel

Deity they worship: Bariel & Mahta

World Origin: High Plains of Elysium

History:

Origin of the Angels

Bariel watched from afar while Lilith's creations wrecked havoc below on the world of Pandia. He was shocked that she was able to amass such a force without the others knowing about it. There was those who wondered what role Nerdalye played in their creation and eventual release. None though risked open conflict over the issue, as the focus was instead turned towards the immediate issue of Lilith and her children below.

While the others debated, Bariel had seen enough. Something must be done before both light and virtue had been drive from the world entirely. The only Nevertheless, Bariel had seen enough and saw it as her duty to bring balance once more to the world. Where there was darkness, the light must be there to counter it's influence, and show the good in one's soul. They would be known as the Barsoc, or Angels in the mortal's tongue.

The problem that Bariel and his new creations would face was that, unlike Lilith and her Demons who had plenty of time to gather and prepare for the invasion, every moment that Bariel wasted was another mortal that had succumbed to the darkness. To be able to level the playing field, Bariel sought out his ally, Mahta. He, like most of the dieties, was cross that the demons were being allowed to run rampant with the tacit approval of Nerdayle. In conjunction with Bariel's command of the Light, Mahta used his mastery of fire to fuse the qualities of both.

When the two were woven together, they formed a Celestial Fire, how Holy Fire. Combined with the DNA of the Barsoc, they were now a formidable force to be reckoned with. The fire could be manipulated to their will, allowing it to form into armor, a sword, or even a beam to launch at their enemy. Bariel hoped that this would be enough to counter the Demons and bring balance once more to the Pandia.

The Fall of the Veil and a New Mission

Aeradom, along with the first of the Barsoc, had completed their training and were prepared to set off for Pandia when the Veil fell. Torn asunder, the world now knew of the existence of the creatures that had long gone hidden from mortal eyes. It didn't take long for fear to grip the hearts of mortals, and they begin to round up in mass these fairy tale creatures. As they were still recovering from the demonic onslaught, they were in no shape to resist.

While it was unanimous to the Angels that the blame lay on Lilith and her Demon cohort, the Celesta were divided as to what their next step would be. Their original purpose for being created was to aid the denizens of Pandia by driving the demons back. But with the Veil now destroyed, the demons were no longer the primary threat to those who had crossed over. And while Aeradom believed that their focus should be in rescuing those who are being held captive, still others sought continue their primary task to hunt down the other demons. They reasoned that if the demons were drive from Pandia, then the darkness would as well and thus the Veil would be restored.

Unable to find a common ground, the Celesta broke into two separate groups with two very different goals. The majority of the Angels split off from the group to become hunters, with the soul purpose of hunting down and destroying the demons on the world. Aeradom and nineteen others decided to turn their attention to their charges, and find a way to liberate them and establish a new home on this broken world.

Their first step was to infiltrate one of these detention facilities and to ascertain the status of the occupants inside as well as the defenses that would have to be dealt with. Aeradom volunteered for this task, using his mastery of light magic to mask himself as a simple wood elf. Once within, he waited and bide his time until the time was right.

Personality: As noble as Aeradom may appear, there are certain traits to his character that are not the most admirable. For starters, due to his his divine origins, he can come off as a bit arrogant at times. In fact, while he does see a responsibility to aid those lesser creatures, it is the fact that they are “lesser creatures” that lend towards the animosity. And then there are the matter of the demons. While his focus isn't to hunt them down at this point, it certainly wouldn't behoove him if there were a few less of them. For the time being, his goals lie elsewhere and thus are not in any danger.

On the subject of his enemies, it is important to note that the Angels themselves have quite an internal struggle that is going on in each of them. You see, when Bariel “programmed” them, their purpose was to hunt down and destroy the demons. For some, there is a perverse pleasure in inflicting great anguish on those that have done so to so many innocents. This had lead to quite the cruel streak in many of them. It remains to be seen that the road these angels follow, will lead them to become that which they are battling against.

Athalia in her human form

Athalia in her mermaid form

Age: She's 109 years old.

Gender: She's a female.

Species: Human-Mermaid Hybrid.

Deity she worships: She respects Sacha-God of the Sea, earthquakes and horses-more than worships. Her respect also goes to Ashtum, King of the Gods. Worshipping is not her cup of tea.

World Origin: All her life, Athalia has lived and stayed at Pandia. She is yet to visit where her father was born.

History: Athalia was born and raised by a very caring family, who loved her greatly. Even though she secretly was a human-mermaid hybrid, her father did his best to provide her a normal life, just like normal humans. It was kind of hard for the man, because he had to do everything to make water her enemy. It was a shame, making your daughter hate your life, don't you think?

Although her mother was a mere human, her father was a merman. Of course, she hadn't known that until the vanishing of the veil. It wasn't so surprising that her mother and she were both shocked. After all, who would want to get married to a species alien from yours? Not her mother, apparently.

Athalia, on the other hand, believed her father and everything else that he had said, simply because she was able to see his sincerity. Her father then, introduced her to where she partly belonged to. There was nothing more to hide.

It was only on her tenth birthday when her mother decided to leave them. She packed all her things and just left the house. I would bet the sea that she couldn't accept that her husband and daughter weren't normal. It took a lot of time for Athalia to accept that--gave her a year, probably. She loved her mother so much, but she knew that it wasn't enough to make her stay.

Eleventh birthday. Athalia moved on. Her father decided to bring her to the sea as a gift. It was love at first sight, or swim. Don't even get mad when I tell you that it was her first time to see a body of water. She was surprised also, how her legs became something else. Of course, her father made sure that she knew everything about the mermaids. It was a shame that she wasn't able to go to Oceanis.

"When you grow up," he said.

Years after, they decided to hide, when they knew about the government kidnapping all those species. She met a lot of friends, human and not, on the way. But never, ever, were the humans to know who she really is.

Even if they ran and ran, it was no use. Her father was soon caught and brought to the government's 'facility'. She had no home to go back to. All of them were burnt so that any abnormal survivors would not return. She was found by the government, some time after she had just stayed at the streets. She was so poor and needy until the government figured that she was human.

Well, she was... half, that is.

She was taken by the government to work for them, and when she knew that it was them who took away her family and friends, she agreed right away. Until today, she works for them, observing every inch and speck of the big place, hoping that peace would be regained, and she could save everyone.

Personality: If anything, Athalia is a very nice and amiable girl. Her optimism cheers the heck out of the people around her, and that's what makes them more attracted to her. For some reason, she knows when somebody is lying, or sincere enough to tell the truth. Her honesty and truthfulness helps her find true friends, just like her. She doesn't like it when her loved ones get sad or aren't happy, so even if she thinks she sucks at it, she does her best to make them happy. She either tells jokes, talks to them, or sings. There are also times when people would take advantage of her, but she just tries to forgive them, no matter what memory they've held on to. "What matters is the present." That's what she would always say.

Other: Most of the time, her beautiful voice charms a lot of people. Because she is half-human, it takes at least five to ten minutes of exposure to water before her legs transform into a tail. It helps her very much to not expose her real identity at times when she would get in trouble.

(Not sure if I winged it, or winged it. DX)

@L u n a - Everything seems to be fine. Though if she was born before the veil was made she'd be a bit older.

Oh goodness. I have so much going on already but I cannot help but want to join this... How many characters are we allowed to play? Because I have two or three I'd like to drop in here.

Ooops, sorry Pai. I was only thinking about the whole short plot. Would you like to have the story of our characters detailed? c:

@L u n a @UnholyRedemption PLEASE!!
Oh, you're here. Well, I mostly need Red-Chan at the moment since Athalia and Katyusha only met a year/few months ago. Maybe we could write something about those two going on a mission? Maybe start some suspicion?

Okay okay I'm sorry ; n ;

And yes they just met so it doesn't matter yet c:

And Athalia and Noelani aren't really very close. Athalia just recognizes her because after that time when she learned who she really was, she only met her for a while. c:

Okay, is it alright if I write something about those two going on a mission?

Oh, and Noelani hasn't been seen by Katyusha yet, we'll be having that happen in the roleplay if that's alright. Sorry for bothering you, haha!
