Interstellar Bun

Buns In Space
Hi, my name is Missy and I'm back again with another interest check! If you're interested please PM me!

What to Expect From Me

  • I tend to write 3-8 paragraphs per reply, depending on how dialogue heavy it is. While I don't believe that quantity equals quality, I do tend to frown upon one liners.
  • I try to reply once a day but can reply much more if the timing works out.
  • I write both female and male characters and will double if the plot or my partner calls for it but I will not double for the sake of doubling. Along the same lines, I've been writing a metric crap ton of male characters likely and would really appreciate a chance to shake it up.
  • Shipping is not a requirement nor will I instaship
  • If shipping does happen, F/F or M/F works best for me.

Fandom List

I tend to use the locations in fandoms rather than main plot points or characters. It keeps things new, fresh, and alive in my experience. That said I'm very willing to write canon characters and canon/oc romance so long as that isn't the only thing carrying the plot. Be unabashedly open with your ships and I'll do the same.

In addition, if you see a fandom you like on here and you have an idea for a plot or an OC you like using, please just throw them at me as hard as you can so we can run with it. I'm totally down for that.

  • Fallout (preferably New Vegas, 4, or a new and original location)
  • Elder Scrolls (Skyrim/Oblivion)
  • Dragon Age (Origins or Inquisition)
  • Mass Effect
  • Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
  • Star Wars (I'd prefer just OCs)
  • Harry Potter
  • Crossovers of any type. Do you want to shove two unlikely fandoms together with the simple explanation of "worm holes"? Lets do it.

Original Plots

  • Fool's Gold
Muse A finds an ancient map leading to an underground city that has been forgotten by time, only, they can figure out how to read it. This leads them to teaming up with Muse B, a scholar who has dedicated most of their life to researching artifacts of the same people. The only problem isn't that the map is something people would kill for, the problem is that what they find in their adventure might be even worse than simple death.
    (Setting: High fantasy)
  • Forget Me Not
Muse B wakes up in an unfamiliar place with a pain in their head and the feeling that they're forgetting something, when in reality, they're forgetting everything. Muse A comes into the room right as they wake up and insists that they know Muse B one way or another (lovers, friends, what have you). Muse A takes Muse B to their home, they bond, but the more time they spend together the more Muse B starts to recall pieces of their past and it doesn't exactly match up with what Muse A has been telling them.
    (Setting: Futuristic, Post-Apocalyptic, Western)
  • What We have Wrought
Without too much thought, Muse A buys an odd looking book at a used book store. The book sports no name and the cover is made out of a material Muse A can't quite place, and it sports an old rusted lock on it. One evening Muse A happens to be bored enough to try opening the lock and after a few tries, finds they are successful. As soon as the lock is broken, there's a knock at the door. Muse A answers it to find a frazzled Muse B bursting in yelling for them to not open the book. Through accident or sheer desire to go against what they had just been told, the book ends up open and the creatures that were sealed away inside have been released.
    (Setting: Fantasy, Modern-fantasy)
  • It Takes Two
Muse A used to be a famous singer. After issues with drugs and alcoholism, they're now barely holding top marque at a posh lounge and casino. Lately their boss has been pushing for them to get a duet partner because it's the next big thing. Used to being a solo star who gets what they want, Muse A ends up ether driving people away on purpose or on accident. Muse B used to be Muse A's biggest fan and after an audition, they finally get the chance to work with their favorite crooner, but Muse A might not be all Muse B thought they were cracked up to be. Will Muse B run like everyone else has?
    (Setting: 1920's-1960's)
