Fantasy Aquothis Rebellion (still accepting!)

"Negativity abounds in this country, I've found. So many downtrodden living in the streets, so many disasters like the East... Really, it's amazing you're brave enough to join the rebellion in the first place if negativity is a problem. Don't take that the wrong way, though. I'm sure you've got the mettle since you're here anyway."

Apollo attempted to run his hand through his hair, but his fingers met his helmet first. He tried playing it off by removing the helmet as though that were his goal all along. "Anyway, since you and the prince seem to have finished your conversation, why don't you come with me for a bit, my foxy friend? I have something to discuss with you, and while I'd normally be okay with others listening... Well, no offense, Seto, but it's something I'd rather not talk about with ANY royals right now." Apollo's tone carried slightly more emotion than normal, and it was clear he truly meant no offense to Seto.

Zomo sat on a tree stump and sighed as his cat like ears twitched and looked to the east and smiled "Maybe I should go and join that rebellion group" jumping off he walked towards the east and chuckled "So much for the west province" he scratches his left ear and started to run as fast as he could without looking back

((Hey sorry for late response went camping and no internet))

Kino nodded. He felt more comfortable now than he did previously, knowing that neither of these two beings were out to hurt him. "Sure," he said to Apollo. He noticed Apollo's "intended gesture" and smiled a little.

"Right this way, then," said Apollo as he slipped the helmet into his sleeve, nodding respectfully at the prince. As Apollo led Kino along the road he began removing the guard armor, carefully sliding each piece into the sleeve of his cloak. He had just managed to somehow fit a full chestpiece into his sleeve when they arrived in front of a tavern Apollo had visited before.

Apollo stepped up to the tavern's owner, who stood behind the bar and wore an impassive expression. "I need to use your meeting room. You know the one."

"If'n ya know da room, ya know da drill, too. Ah need yer name an' identification fer da books." The owner folded his thick arms. "Da room ain't free, neither, so Ah'll need some coin."

"I know, I know." Apollo reached into his right sleeve, withdrawing a plump pouch whose knot he immediately undid. "This is my name," he began, sliding three gold coins onto the bar, "and here's my identification." He added three more coins. "This will cover rent for two hours, and this will make sure the room is isolated." Apollo added three more coins for both statements, totaling 12 coins.

"Oh yes, welcome back, Mistah Steven Anderson." The owner finally smiled, pocketing the coins. "Yer room is set ta yer standards. Righ' this way." The owner led Apollo and Kino to the room, continuing to speak. "If'n ya need anythin' from meh, open da door an' shout. Da wards won't let meh heah ya inside da room, see. Heah's da key, an' heah's da room. Thanks fer ya patronage." The owner handed Apollo a key, then walked back to the bar to greet any other customers that would arrive.

Apollo opened the door to the room, then motioned for Kino to enter. "After you, friend."

Kino followed and sat on the bed, lowering his hood and untucking his tail from his pants. his ears twitched at the sound of the owner's footsteps away from the room and downstairs. He heard them fade and looked at Apollo. "Thank you."

(Lol)

Zomo stopped running out of breath and panted looking at the sky then started to walk then saw a town and headed towards it, then walked into the tavern and looked at the owner then sat by the door then watched as two strange people [Apollo and Kino] go into a room and he shrugged "Travelers maybe, oh well." Standing up he walked up to the taverns owner and smiled "Excuse me, do you know anyone in the rebellion, or where they are. I'm going to join them." He reached into his pouch and pulled out two pieces of gold coin and sat them on the counter and slid them to the tavern owner

After much preparation it was the night if the engagement ball, the very first step into the rebellion, the fate of the rebellion rested on these next two events as its cloak so as to gather strength and momentum.

The castle had been beautifully adorned with elegant lanterns, banners and decoration, at this moment, the festivities were just beginning, a small crowd was beginning to gather in the ballroom, smiling, conversing, having a drink or two. Seto was at the top end of the room dressed smartly and keeping close attention to the all the doors into the ballroom, hoping the rebels had arrived with convincing attire, so they would remain undetected, he and Ayane and Reda would be the distractions and otherwise occupied, this operation was counting on the rest of the team.

Ayane was being bombarded with congratulatory remarks from many different people, most of which, she didn't particularly know well. She felt a bit uncomfortable in this setting, sure she has been to many functions like this, but none to this degree nor none where she was one of the people getting a lot of attention, not to mention how regal she was dressed, this was her most elegant gown she owned but honestly it was a tad uncomfortable. She simply smiled and nodded at the guests as they made their ways over, occasionally glancing at the doors thinking the same thing as Seto.

((Just setting a scene, join when you feel free to you all can continue your meeting until the end if you wish :D ))

The bartender slid the two coins off the counter and into his pocket before responding. "Ah know naught 'bout any rebellion. Mah clients' business be they business, y'see. Ah'm no rumor mill, an' it ain't mah job to be one." The big man chuckled as he came up with a joke to add: "Ya might have better luck askin' the prince hisself!"

@sitanomoto

Apollo followed Kino into the room, then firmly closed the door behind him and locked it. He then moved over to one of the chairs in the room and took a seat.

"Let me start by saying this is my first time meeting someone blessed like you have been. I can only hope to one day reach the standing you have. But on to business: has She given you any special instructions for this assignment?"

Kino looked apprehensive but nodded. If this man knew, he must be someone trustworthy. "Just to help any way that I can." He shrugged. "I'm not high in her standards, but she does seem.... Rather fond of me."

"But how did She say it? There must be something," Apollo prodded. "She must have some reason, some goal in mind - unless... Never mind. Just tell me what She said to you." Apollo shifted slightly in his chair.

Kino closed his eyes.

My child, head to the city and join the rebellion. They need you there.

He opened his eyes. "That was it."

First a sigh, then a frown. "I guess She is more straightforward with you. Oh well; I thought I might learn more from you, but I guess not. I have more preparation to do, so unless you have something for me, I'll be off."
