You faker than some Sweet 'N Low
Anime Battle Island

Everyone's favourite part, right?
Matches between characters will be rolled by me, through a randomizer.
Your characters can die. If a match has been rolled and neither person is willing to have their character die, compromises can be made. Don't be scared to talk to me about something like that.
No immortal characters. Don't come in with Yashiro Isana and expect me to accept him.
Along those lines, no characters that are so overpowered that nobody has a glimmer of hope defeating them.
I'm pretty sure Alucard falls into both of the above two categories.
If you think that a match is unfair and give me a good reason as to why, there's a good chance I'll be willing to reroll. Again, don't be afraid to talk to me.
No OC's. There are more than enough fandoms out there for you to pick your characters from. The only circumstance I'm willing to negotiate this in is Pokemon-esque animes, but you'll have to talk to me before doing something like this.
Please, no one-hit KOs. Nobody here is Saitama.
Homestuck characters will only be allowed under the pretense that they are not Godtier.
Keep fighting in character. If you and another player have an issue with each other, please, take it to PMs to sort it out instead of in the OOC chat.
Literacy is important. I understand if English isn't your first language but, please, try your best to make sure we can understand what you're saying.
This is to be a casual roleplay. One or more paragraphs per post.
Please keep the characters you use to anime/cartoon/video game/comic book characters. Basically, anything drawn. I love Supernatural, but I don't want to deal with a "are our characters 2D or 3D?" situation. That just stresses me, and can cause conflict.
I'm not gonna limit the amount of characters you can use. Just make sure you can manage the amount you have. You can't have more than two living characters from the same fandom, though. Should you have two and one dies, feel free to use another one.
No killing unless it's been agreed to and I'm aware of it.
I know this is a roleplay where people are dying, but keep your descriptions of gore to a minimum. You know, like the site rules say. This ain't ff.n.
To prove that you read my rules, I referred to three characters by name in the rules. If you didn't already post them on the interest check, put them in the 'Extra' section on your character format
You can break these, but there are consequences for doing so, if you get caught. Try not to get caught.
No killing each other outside of the Arena.
You must be in your dorm before 23:00/11PM. (Or, you know, just in a dorm. The guards aren't checking.)
Lights out is at 1AM.
If you avoid participating in your match, you will be considered the loser and executed.
Do not interrupt a match.
Use of weapons is prohibited outside of the Arena. When training, use the training weapons provided in the Training Field.
Once you win ten matches, you're considered a 'Victor' and don't have to fight anymore.
I won't be using a dice system. From my observations, there are approximately -2 people on RPN that actually enjoy using a dice system, and I don't like them myself. Members will decide between the two of them the outcome of their match. I'll PM the participants of the match beforehand, and they'll decide like that. The only reason dice will be involved is if two members want me to decide the outcome for them; I'll roll a die for each character, and the one with the higher number will be the survivor.
(losers in the monster battle category may not die, should i think of something better. If anyone would like to help me think of something other than "somebody escorts them away and fucking murders them", I'll take the help)
There are multiple different Arenas, for different methods of fighting. It wouldn't be very productive to pit a Pokemon Trainer against a Magical Girl, now would it? Different classifications of fighters go to different Arenas, so that battles will happen in an efficient fashion.
The Classifications are as follows
-
Monster
-
For characters who fight using a monster/animal to do the fighting for them. Fights in this Arena are considered "over" when one side's monster partner(s) are dead/otherwise incapacitated. If a character loses but their partner(s) are still alive, their partner(s) will be sent back to their home world while the character themself is probably killed but like what happens to the losers in this arena isn't set in stone yet? Maybe there's this public guillotine or something.
The floor opens up to a pool, for water-dwelling monsters.
-
Hand to Hand
-
For characters who fight using strictly their own body parts, sans characters who use their hair as weapons (ex. Niche from Letter Bee and Eve from Black Cat). Characters slated to fight in this arena are not permitted to use weapons apart from rings, brass knuckles, or a pocket knives. For characters that don't already possess one of these, non-studded brass knuckles will be provided upon entrance of the building. -
Armed
-
Characters in this category are the ones who fight using a weapon, melee, ranged, or otherwise. The only weapon that doesn't fall into Armed Combat would be normal brass knuckles -
Magic
-
The Jutsus in Naruto fall in this category, as they just don't quite for any of the others. Characters in the "Magic" category are also permitted to use an instrument they use to channel their magic through (I.E. a staff, wand, tome, and anything else the character might use to conduct magic) and their own fists to fight. Brass Knuckles will be provided to characters who don't have anything to conduct magic with upon entering the arena, so that they're not left with just their bare hands if they exhaust their magic supply. -
Magical Girl/Magical Boy/Transformation
-
AKA the only Arena that you can't bring brass knuckles into.
If your character has to transform to access their full power, they'll fall into one of those three classifications, regardless of how they attack in this second form. No extra weapons are allowed in this Arena, unless they're a vital part of the character's fighter sequence, or must be carried outside of their their transformed state and can only be used after they've transformed.
This Arena is entirely indoors, to keep any stray attacks from hitting people who arent in these matches.
Your character may have more than one classification if you wish, or if they fit more than one. A good example would be Yata from K Project- He could fit into Magic, Armed, as well as Hand to Hand. What all they're in depends on the person playing them, I'll only say something if I see someone being put somewhere they don't fit, or if I think they'll fit better somewhere else. More than one classification is not required, even if they'll fit in more than one. If you need help picking a category or think I need to add a new one, just tell me. I'll help you, or take into consideration the category you think needs added.
Characters are allowed to go in and out of Arenas as they see fit, and can go inside to watch a fight while one is going on. For characters who want to watch the match but don't want to risk accidentally being killed by a stray bullet/fire ball, all matches are broadcast on television.
Tl;dr Put characters in categories that fit how they would fight.-

Where we live tho
-
On the island, there are three sets of dormitories. One for male characters, one for female characters, and one for characters of indiscriminate gender. There are two people per dorm, with roommates being assigned at random. Each dorm has the same basic appearance but can be redecorated by the inhabitants to fit their preference, so long as the decorations don't put the other inhabitant in immediate danger. Basically, you can't have a guillotine in there.
All dorms initially look like what's pictured above. There's one private bathroom in each dorm, but actual bathing is done in japanese-style bath houses, with one of these being in each building.
-
Food???
-
Chances are, your character needs to eat. If they don't, well, I guess you don't really need this section, now do you? Anyway, food is available in a central cafeteria 24/7. It's even available after curfew, if your character is brave enough to try sneaking around the guards into the cafeteria. The cyborgs in the cafeteria are programmed to be docile so, should they manage to get into the cafeteria, they're safe until they need to find a way back to their dorm. Or they could sleep in the kitchen on a sack of potatoes or something.
Food is provided buffet style, and a wide variety is available to cater to different tastes/dietary needs. If you still can't find what you want/need, the Chefborgs will be more than happy to prepare it for you. That's their express purpose, after all- cooking food for the fleshy mortal contestants who need sustenance.
The dormitory that's closest to the Cafeteria is the Indiscriminate Gender dormitory, and the farthest is the Male Dormitory.
-
Training Field
-
A field that resembles your average, every day Track Field. On the right side of the field, there are racks of wooden swords and otherwise blunted weapons, so that it's harder to injure other characters with them. Advanced weapons such as a High Caliber Sniper Scythe have not been accommodated for. Near the weapon racks, there are training dummies.
Sparring is permited, so long as nobody dies on the training field.
To the left of the field is a Gym, which provides everything a gym generally provides. Weights, punching bags, etc. Fighting is not permitted in this building.
Attached to the gym is a shooting range, for anybody who uses a range weapon. The walls are soundproof, as to prevent anyone in the gym from being bothered by the sound of guns/anything else being shot. Weapons must be checked out before use and returned after use.
In all three sections, Guards are constantly patrolling to prevent anyone from killing each other. If asked, these guards are willing to spar.

You got a question? This may have the answers.
Q. Why a Multi-Fandom rp about killing each other?
A. Why not? Honestly, something more like this is something I've been hoping to see when I clicked a Multi-Fandom roleplay for a while, and figured I might as well make it myself. I've seen a couple where the people fight but have to survive every time, but I wanted something where there's actually the risk of dying in hopes of being allowed to go back home.
Q. Are there any fandoms that aren't allowed?
A. You'll have to provide a good argument to be allowed to be anyone from Dragon Ball, Hellsing, or One Punch Man. None are strictly "forbidden" though.
Q. What are the guards like?
A. A bunch of Nekos, Inus, and all other sorts of people with animal ears. Oh, also, they're cyborgs. They each have varying personalities, depending on how their AI is programmed, but they're all programmed to kick the ass of anyone who breaks the island rules... Or uhm... You know, something less or more severe depending on what rule they break. They're stronger and faster than the characters you play, and also made of metal, so taking one on in a fight probably won't work well for your character without proper foreplanning.
Q. Why animal people?
A. I want to have a mouse-person beat someone to the ground at some point. Also I like nekos. You know, normal reasons.
Q. Alright... Is it possible for me to play a guard?
A. Not in the beginning. At first, I will be playing all of the NPC's. When somebody's character dies, I'll permit them to play a guard as compensation. If you want to play a guard, well, I guess you need to make a throw-away character and hope I roll them. Well, if it's a chef cyborg, they can be used by anyone unless you want to have a serious conversation with the robot cooking your food. If you wanna have heartfelt conversations with the chef, well, it looks like I'll be playing a chefbot.
Q. Can I be a mod?
A. If I already know you and think I can trust you, I may make you a moderator if you want. In that case, you'll have all of the privileges I do (sans rolling matches). If I don't already know you, there's a chance I'll make you a moderator if you prove yourself to me.
Q. Why are so many Arenas taken from Naruto?
A. "This is taking too long, I'll just use some Naruto screenshots and call it a day." Some of them may be changed later, before the actual homicide begins.
Q. Can we do the cross fandom romance?
A. Go ahead. I won't stop you if you really want to date somebody. Ship slash or whatever you want, just don't date your own characters,
Q. Are Vocaloids allowed?
A. Sure.
Q. Were you inspired by Deadman Wonderland?
A. I forgot that Deadman Wonderland existed until I had finished typing the Arenas and realized that it seemed familiar to an Anime I had watched. So no.
Q. Will there be a way of escape that doesn't involve killing?
A. Yes, but that won't be revealed until after several matches, and only if characters are actively searching for it.
If nobody's looking, well, you can call me Monokuma.
