Welcome to le Château de Versailles, France, 2113. A hundred years after World War III had come to an end. Where princesses, dukes, duchesses, viscounts and all other kinds of royals around the globe come to learn how to survive in the real world — that is, a world of poverty.
From the moment the war ended and the monarchy was reinstated, the world had turned into complete and utter chaos. Those in power did everything they could to change the critical conditions the world had found itself in; which included ensuring that the heir to their thrones were fully prepared to take the crown when the time came. Most of them had been spoon-fed their whole lives and kept in the dark due to all the opposition they’d been facing all these years. And because of it, they have no idea of what awaits them out in the real world and away from their luxurious lifestyle.

What no one expects, is for there to be a murderer roaming the palace halls. He plans on putting an end to all royal lines and leading a revolution against the monarchs, in hopes that all countries will once again be free of the monarchical system. Many share those views, and more people seem to be rebelling every day. Rumors that another war is brewing has reached Versailles, and now, everyone is on edge.
As for the murderer, he appears to be leading a war of his own. The more people rebel, the more followers he gets. He’s becoming more powerful every day, and with the help of his minions, who have yet to be discovered, nothing stands in the way of him liquidating the ones who are too weak to join his rebellion.
No one outside the palace walls is to know of the murders; especially not any authority or parental figure. “The Big Three”, which consists of three crown princes: Gabriel Orléans, Daniel Worthington and Dominic Lancaster, made a pact to put a stop to the murders before informing anyone outside Versailles of what’s been happening; afraid it might worsen the situation and be the cause of uprisings against the monarchs.
So far, over thirty royals have been injured – in more ways than one. They’ve been harassed, tortured, even made hostages. Ten of those people have been assassinated. Five have switched sides. The rest of them will be traumatized for the rest of their lives.
The question everyone is afraid of saying out loud is: who will be next?
Brace yourselves, little royals. A new era has begun.
